On this day, when I woke up, there were traces of rain, and the sky looked gloomy, making me worry about the weather. However, as it turned out, while we were doing activities, it was cloudy without any heavy rain, and it became a comfortable day instead of scorching hot.

On the way to our destination, we heard various stories about Ishigaki Island from our guides, Kuma and Naka, and before we knew it, we arrived at Miyara River. Since it was my first time trying SUP, we received a lecture and then set off! At first, I was paddling on my knees, but then they suggested I try standing up. I was nervous about falling, but Kuma and Naka were watching over me and giving advice, and gradually it became more enjoyable as we paddled through the mangrove river.

When we passed through the mangroves near the shore, instead of paddling, I placed the paddle on the SUP and held onto the branches while lying on the board, finally managing to escape! It felt like an adventure! In the second half, thanks to Naka teaching me the lever principle of pulling from the paddle, I was able to paddle more easily even when I got tired.

After lunch, we went snorkeling. As we walked through a jungle-like area, the sea opened up before us. Since it was the afternoon, the tide was low, and there were many blue damselfish swimming in the rock pools, which was surprising! I was thrilled to find a clownfish that had made its home among the anemones in the shallow water. Our guide, Iida, was very knowledgeable about the fish and taught us various names of sea cucumbers, fish, corals, and more. Kuma also mentioned that "the blue of the blue damselfish increases with stress."

We then plunged further into the sea and began snorkeling. Following Iida, as we swam out, the water got deeper, and a coral meadow spread out before us, with fish swimming right in front of us! It felt so good.

I had over 200 photos taken (I could never take such beautiful pictures myself, and I probably wouldn't have had the time) and truly enjoyed the activities. Thank you for the wonderful time!

天気が心配だなぁと思っていましたが、結果は、アクティビティをしている
間は曇り空でスコール的な雨もふらずカンカン照りではなく過ごしやすい日と
なりました。
現地につくまで、ガイドのクマさんやナカさんから石垣島の色々な話を聞いて
あっと言う間に宮良川に到着。
初めてのSUPということでレクチャーを受けていざ出発！！
はじめは、膝をついて漕いでいましたが、途中から立ってみましょうと言われ
落ちるんじゃないかとビクビクしていましたが、クマさん、ナカさんがちゃんと見守ってくれてアドバイスもしてくれるし、段々楽しくなってマングローブの川をどんどん漕ぎ進めます。
途中、岸の近くのマングローブの中をくぐるときは、漕ぐというよりオールをSUPに置いて、木の枝につかまりながら身体をボードに付けた態勢でやっと脱出！なんか探検気分でした！
後半になって、オールの上から引くというテコの原理を教えてくれたナカさん
のお陰で疲れても楽に漕げるようになりました。

お昼のあとはシュノーケリング。
ジャングルみたいなところを歩いて行くとパッと海がひらけます。
午後なので潮が引いていて海水が少なくなって岩場の水たまりに残されたルリススメダイが沢山泳いでいるのでびっくり！浅瀬のイソギンチャクの中を住み処にしていたカクレクマノミも見つけてくれて感激。
ガイドの飯田さんがお魚についてとっても詳しくて、なまこや魚、サンゴなどの名前などをいろんなことを教えてくれます。
クマさんも「ルリスズメダイはストレスを受けるほど青さが増す」と教えてくました。
さらに海に突き進みシュノーケル開始。
飯田さんについて沖の方に泳いでいくとどんどん深くなりサンゴの草原が広がり、その中を魚たちが泳いでいる姿が目の前に！気持ちよかったぁ～。

写真も２００枚以上（自分ではこんなにキレイに取れないし、まず余裕がないかな）撮ってもらって本当にアクティビティを純粋に楽しめました。
楽しい時間をありがとう！！

We participated in snorkeling at the Blue Cave and a mangrove canoe tour. It was a very informative tour as we learned interesting facts about Ishigaki Island on the bus. The staff spoke with such enthusiasm that we could feel their love for Okinawa and Ishigaki, which made us love Okinawa even more. I would have appreciated it if we could have taken a few more photos. If we have the chance to come back to Ishigaki Island, we would definitely like to participate in another activity. Due to weather conditions, we changed from the Blue Cave to Okasaki Beach. Although it was cloudy, the underwater visibility was clear, and it was a lot of fun. Since my flight was around 7 PM on the last day of my trip, I wanted to make the most of the half day and made a reservation two days prior. It happened to be a day of high tide, so we were able to take a route on the Nakama River cruise that usually cannot be accessed due to low water levels, allowing us to see mangroves that can only be found there. However, the water level was so high that the roots, which are a characteristic of mangroves, were almost submerged. I feel that experiencing the jungle-like atmosphere of the mangroves would be better during low tide. We sat on the right side of the boat, but since the boat traveled upstream along the left bank, I wished we had sat on the left side. (This also depends on the water level, so it can't be said definitively.)

On Yubu Island, we had 90 minutes of free time, including lunch. It takes less than an hour to walk around the entire island, so the time was sufficient. Since the return trip goes via Taketomi Island, if you have extra time, I recommend getting off at Taketomi Island to explore by rental bicycle or ox cart. You can ride an ox cart on Yubu Island, so personally, I think it's best to cycle around Kondoi Beach and Kaiji Beach.

Next time, I want to stay on Iriomote Island and enjoy more activities on the island.

旅行最終日が19時頃の飛行機だったので半日を有効活用したいと思い、二日前に予約を取りました。ちょうど大潮の日の満潮時だったので仲間川のクルーズでは普段水位が足りなくて通ることができないコースを通ることができ、そこでしか見られないマングローブを見ることができました。ただ、水位が高過ぎてマングローブの特徴である根っ子はほぼ水没していました。マングローブのジャングルらしさを味わうなら干潮時の方がいいような気がします。私達はボート右側に座ったのですが、ボートは左岸に沿って川を遡ったので左側に座れば良かったと思いました。（これも水位によって航行ルートが変わるので一概には言えませんが）
由布島では昼食を含めて90分の自由時間がありました。島全体は1時間もかからずに一周できるので時間は充分です。帰りは竹富島経由なので時間に余裕があるなら竹富島で降りて、レンタサイクルや牛車で島を観光することをお勧めします。由布島で牛車に乗れるので、個人的にはレンタサイクルでコンドイ浜やカイジ浜を回るのが良いかと。
次回は西表島に宿泊してもっと島内のアクティビティを楽しみたいです。

Although the weather was unfortunately bad during the rainy season, I was still able to see beautiful, transparent corals and tropical fish up close in the ocean. The guide provided explanations and took underwater photos, making snorkeling an immersive experience. For those bringing a camera, I recommend attaching a strap or similar to avoid dropping it in deeper areas of the sea.

During the mangrove canoe experience, I had a very refreshing time paddling through the jungle on my own. I was also able to see wildlife while navigating through the jungle, which added to the sense of adventure. The stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) that other participants were doing looked fun, so I would like to try that next time.

Additionally, throughout the tour, the guide shared various interesting facts about Ishigaki Island and kept the atmosphere lively, allowing me to bond with the other participants.

I was worried about the unstable weather, but I was able to enjoy stand-up paddleboarding comfortably in the morning. At first, it was challenging to maintain my balance, but as I got used to it, I was able to ride in various positions, and it was a lot of fun. I also got to get close to the mangroves and see the plants.

After a lunch break, the snorkeling in the afternoon turned into a battle against the weather. Despite the thunderstorm, we managed to reach the Blue Cave while keeping an eye on the conditions. Care is needed as we walked through areas with poor footing. The Blue Cave is very mystical, and I believe the water's color would have been beautiful if the weather had been good. Thankfully, we were able to snorkel just before it was canceled, so I was glad to achieve my goal. We also encountered a sea turtle.

The staff provided us with various information, allowing us to fully enjoy the day. We took a lot of photos and created wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

スタッフの方に色々な情報を頂き、一日を満喫する事ができました。

I wanted to see a bit more of Iriomote Island, but the water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island, lunch, and the stroll through the botanical garden were all packed with activities. Even after all that, we returned to the hotel before 3 PM, and I was able to spend the rest of the time meaningfully. I'll save the visit to Taketomi for next time.

I experienced snorkeling and canoeing. The day before, it had rained a little and the weather looked uncertain, but it cleared up, and I was able to enjoy canoeing and snorkeling in a very beautiful sea.

My companion, who is not a strong swimmer, wanted to try snorkeling, so we signed up for this tour. The instructor provided safety explanations and helped practice swimming in shallow water, allowing my companion to swim independently and see many beautiful fish up close, which was very moving.

We encountered clownfish and even a sea turtle, swimming together at close range, and we were able to capture videos as well.

Additionally, we kayaked at Imugya Marine Garden that day, gently paddling while swaying in the pleasant breeze and calm waves. The instructor also shared recommendations for local spots.

クマノミやなんとウミガメにも出会え、近距離で一緒に泳いだり、動画も撮ってもらえました。

また、カヤックはこの日はイムギャーマリンガーデンにて、心地よい風と穏やかな波に揺られつつのんびりと漕ぎながら、
インストラクターの方から現地のおすすめスポット等も聞けて、、

およそ半日のツアーでしたが、詰め込んだような工程でもなく、かと言って間延びもない丁度良さ、大満足でした。
また、動画や写真をツアー終了後すぐに送って頂くことができたことも嬉しかったです。

We transferred to a bus and headed to the cruise ship terminal. The driver and guide was very good at speaking! After switching to the cruise ship, we observed the mangroves. Having done quite a few guided river cruises in Southeast Asia, I wasn't particularly impressed. We then transferred to another bus to go to the water buffalo cart station. The water buffalo cart ride while listening to Yaeyama folk songs was nice! The Okinawan cuisine at Yubu Island, accompanied by explanations, was delicious! After the meal, we took a commemorative photo with the water buffalo "Rui-kun"! I wanted the photo data and purchased two for 2500 yen. You can quickly download the data with a QR code. Then, there was a thunderstorm! During that time, we enjoyed Yubu Island coffee and cake at the Yubu Island tea house. The coffee was very tasty with a slight acidity. It seems to be a daily blend. When the rain lightened up, we returned to Iriomote Island by water buffalo cart, switched buses to go to the port, and took a boat to Taketomi Island. We took another bus and visited two beaches. 残り時間20分で展望ビルに上り、アイスの商店でアイス購入し、走り回り～またバスで港へ行き船で帰港・・・。クルーズ時間を短くするかして竹富島観光時間を、あと30分は取って欲しい。全ての行程でチケットを切り取り、出すのが大変でした。遊園地の腕輪のようにコース番号印刷をはめれば見せるだけでOKみたいなものを使ってほしいです。

4:ツアー前日に電話がかかってきてその際に集合時間を案内されますが(他ツアーも同じく)申し込みがWebなのにその後アナログ対応で電話とは。。。IP電話だと電話代発生しますし沖縄旅行だと前日もバタバタしていたり離島や電波の悪い場所にいたり(私はそうでした)。運用システムの改善を強く要望します。
要は、目的が「集合時間、場所相互認識一致」ですよね。
なら申し込みに使用したメールアドレスからそのような画面へうつってクリックするなりすれば目的は果たせますよね？
アプリや大掛かりなシステム開発では費用がかさむこともありますが
この程度のものなら短時間少人数で対応できるわけです。
今回沖縄旅行で2つのツアーを申し込みましたが、現システムの悪さを踏まえてもリピートはありません。
IT知識向上と最新情報のブラッシュアップ、マーケティングを再度見直してください。

I participated in a morning canoeing session and an afternoon sea turtle snorkeling tour.

The day before, I received a call regarding the meeting place, what to bring, and important notes for the day.

On the day of the tour, we gathered at 10:30 at Imugya Marine Garden! The instructor was a cheerful and lively person named Kuma-kun. I was nervous since it was my first time canoeing, but I was grateful for the thorough explanations he provided. It was the middle of the rainy season, and unfortunately, the sea was murky due to heavy rain the day before, but luckily, the weather was calm on the day of the tour, allowing us to paddle smoothly to our favorite spots. I was so excited to discover how much fun canoeing can be! Along the way, we peeked into the water, navigated through narrow gaps between rocks, and even saw an eagle carrying a large fish (Kuma-kun mentioned it was his first time seeing that too). Chatting with Kuma-kun made the 1.5 hours fly by.

After that, we had a lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00, during which we could freely explore, eat at nearby shops, or visit souvenir stores.

In the afternoon, we gathered at Shigira Beach at 14:00, and the instructor was Mao-kun! He provided detailed explanations with great effort. I had done snorkeling a few times before, but I felt that he was the most thorough instructor I had encountered. In the sea, he took us to a spot where we could see clownfish, and then to a location where sea turtles were present for my long-awaited sea turtle snorkeling! I had seen sea turtles from above the water several times, but this time, they were so close that I could reach out and touch them (they stayed about 1 meter in front of me) while they were eating! 梅雨真っただ中で、前日は大雨だったので残念ながら海は濁っていましたが、幸運なことに当日は凪だったので、自分の好きな場所にスイスイ移動できて、カヌーってこんなに楽しいんだ！と大興奮でした。
途中で海の中を覗いてみたり、狭い岩の間を移動してみたり、鷲が大きな魚を重そうに運ぶところをみたり（くまくんも初めて見たそうです。）、くまくんとのおしゃべりも楽しく、あっという間の1.5時間でした。

そのあと、12:00～14:00は昼休憩ですが、自由に行動できるので、近所のお店で食べたり、お土産物屋さんにいったりできます。

午後は14:00にシギラビーチに集合で、インストラクターはまおくんです！
一生懸命、丁寧に説明してくださりました。シュノーケリングはこれまで何度かしたことがありますが、今までで一番丁寧に説明してくださるインストラクターさんだな、と感じました。
海では、ニモのいるスポットに連れてってくれて、その後はウミガメがいる場所に連れてってくれて念願のウミガメシュノーケリング！！
ウミガメはこれまで海の上からは何度か見ることはありましたが、手を伸ばせば触れる近距離（目の前1mくらいのところにずっといます。）で、食事をしているところをずっと観察！！ウミガメの5分おきの息継ぎを3回も見ることができて、本当にとても楽しかったです。

ツアーが終了して約1時間後には、LINEを通してカヌーとシュノーケリングの写真をたくさん送ってくれました！これはすごい！また、海で自分で写真を撮ってもなかなかうまくは撮れませんし、データでいただけるのはすごくうれしかったです。

大満足な一日でした。

I participated in snorkeling and SUP!
In the morning, we gathered at Shigira Beach at 10:00 and started with snorkeling.
It was my first experience, but they explained how to use the equipment carefully, so I was able to enjoy it without any problems.
As soon as we got into the water, I was surprised to see so many fish!
By the way, even if you're not confident in swimming, you can hold on while swimming, so it's okay.

ちなみに泳ぎに自信がない人も、捕まりながら泳ぐことができるので大丈夫です。

午後からのSUP体験は、青空のもとで心地よい風を感じながら楽しむことができました！
初体験の2人で参加しましたが、パドルの扱い方を教えていただいたり、アドバイスをいただいたりしてすぐに自由に操作できるようになりました。気軽に質問もできて、安心して体験できたのがよかったです。
写真も色んなポイントで撮っていただけました。帰ってきてからも見返して楽しんでいます！
