I made a reservation for 11:50 PM, and even with a short stay, I saw the Milky Way for the first time and witnessed shooting stars multiple times! It was said that the stars are more beautiful at later hours! The photos were taken wonderfully, and the staff were very kind. I'm really glad I went!

The Milky Way was visible to the naked eye! Although clouds came in partway, I was able to wait a bit and get some great shots! Since it’s such a special experience, I think it’s definitely worth capturing beautifully, so for those who haven’t tried it, please take photos under the starry sky! I highly recommend it! The guy who took my pictures also told me about great restaurants and spots to visit, which was really nice!

It was my first time trying SUP, and I had a great time. They explained the points clearly before we started and taught us at a good pace, which was perfect for someone like me who wanted to jump right in. I was able to stand up and enjoy it right away! The snorkeling was also great, and I’m glad I participated because they took us to places I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Honestly, I was skeptical about whether we would really see sea turtles, but we did, and I was very satisfied! They also took a lot of photos during the tour, which created wonderful memories. The group size was just right, not too big, which was nice. The guide was cheerful, kind, and very pleasant! I would definitely like to do this again if I have the chance! It was our first time for both activities, but the guide was kind and taught us very carefully, so we quickly grasped the techniques and were able to enjoy ourselves!

The waters around Miyako Island are incredibly clear, and during snorkeling, we were able to see many colorful fish and corals from a distance! We were lucky enough to find our target sea turtles right away, and during the tour, we got to swim with six of them, which was very satisfying!

The experience of looking out at the blue sea from the SUP board was also very pleasant! I think even those who aren't very good at sports can enjoy it right away, so I would recommend it to many people!

The weather forecast had predicted thunderstorms on the day of our activity, which made me quite worried. However, we received a message the day before suggesting, "How about we move the meeting time up by an hour since the waves will be high in the afternoon?" This allowed us to enjoy the experience until the end!

It's reassuring to leave things to the sea professionals for a safe and enjoyable time.

On the day of the activity, we gathered at the Imugya parking lot, where three groups, including ours, participated. One group chose SUP while another opted for canoeing. I fell into the sea early on during SUP (laughs), but the instructors provided tips on how to stand, and by the end, I was able to paddle while standing.

We then moved to Shinjo Beach for snorkeling. Since we wore life jackets and fins, I felt safe even though I couldn't swim well. The instructor pointed out where to find clownfish and helped us look for sea turtles, showing great care for the participants, which made it enjoyable. I was thrilled to see three sea turtles at once!

The photos taken by the instructor captured both the sea turtles and us perfectly! They took many pictures, creating wonderful memories!

I would love to request this experience again when I visit Miyako Island! Thank you very much!

天気予報ではアクティビティの日は雷雨の予報でとても心配でしたが、前日の集合場所連絡で「午後は波が高いから集合時間を1時間早めませんか？」という提案をいただき、最後まで楽しむことができました！
やはり海のプロにお任せすると安心安全に楽しめます。

当日はイムギャー駐車場に集合で私たちも含めて3組が参加していて、私たちともう1組はSUP、1組はカヌーを選択していました。
SUPでは早々に海に落ちましたが(笑)、立ち方のコツなど随時指摘していただけて最後は立って漕げるようになりました。

場所を新城海岸に移動してシュノーケルをやりました。
ライブジャケットとフィンを付けるので泳げなくても多分大丈夫です。
インストラクターさんにクマノミの場所を教えてもらったり、ウミガメを探してくれたり、参加者のことを気にかけてくれたので楽しめました。
ウミガメが3匹同時に見れたのはとても嬉しかったです！

インストラクターさんが撮ってくれた写真にはウミガメと私たちがばっちり写っていました！
ほかにもたくさん撮ってくれて良い思い出になりました！

また宮古島に行ったときはお願いしたいです！

Initially, I was scheduled to go to Balas Island, but due to weather conditions, it was changed to caving and canyoning. The mangroves were breathtaking. I was truly moved. Canyoning was a bit scary, but I was able to fully enjoy the great outdoors, something I don't experience in my daily life. The guide was fun and interesting, and the photos they took were all wonderful.
However, due to the state of emergency, most of the recommended shops were closed during the day, which was disappointing. I think it would be very helpful if you could do some research in advance.

当初バラス島に行く予定でしたが、天候の影響によりケービングとキャニオニングに変更になりました。マングローブは圧巻でした。感動しました。キャニオニングは少し怖かったですが、日常で味わうことのない大自然を満喫できました。ガイドの方が楽しく面白く説明してくださり、撮ってくださった写真も素晴らしいものばかりでした。

I participated in a day trip from Ishigaki Island. The waves were calm, and the boat ride was hardly shaky, which heightened my expectations for snorkeling at Barasu Island. Upon arriving at the Uehara Port on Iriomote Island, I quickly met up with the tour guide. Due to the tides, we were scheduled to visit Barasu Island in the morning and go mangrove canoeing in the afternoon. I borrowed the necessary equipment and boarded the boat. Onboard, the guide carefully explained how to use the equipment, making it easy for beginners to understand. After about ten minutes, we arrived at Barasu Island. Unfortunately, the island was not visible above the water that day, but the shallow waters reached up to my knees, and I could really feel that this was Barasu Island. We then began snorkeling. The water was very clear, and I was able to see colorful fish gathered around the coral reefs. Additionally, I was lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle while it was feeding. I was able to experience the unique mangrove forests of Iriomote Island through kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, as well as trekking to appreciate the abundant nature of the island. If I had gone to Iriomote Island on my own without participating in such a tour, I wouldn't have felt that connection to nature. I was also thrilled to go snorkeling at Barasu Island, which I had longed to visit. This is definitely a place you can't easily reach on your own. The tour fees were quite high, but it was worth it. If I could wish for more, I would have liked to try free diving at Barasu (laughs).

西表島ならではのマングローブ林カヤックやSUP,、トレッキングで西表島の溢れる自然を確認できました。このようなツアーに参加せず個人で西表島に行ってもそんな自然は感じられなかったでしょう。 そしてバラス島に憧れていたのでシュノーケリングできて嬉しかったです。 これも個人ではまず行けないところです。 ツアー代金はけっこうかかりますがその価値はありました。 欲を言えばバラスで素潜りしたかった(笑)

I participated in a plan that included a limestone cave, SUP, and canyoning. Initially, the plan was to land on Barasu Island, but due to weather conditions, it was changed to canyoning.

I was a bit anxious since I had never done SUP before, but I was able to paddle happily without falling, even as a beginner! The guide taught us various things about the unique nature of Iriomote Island, including insects, lizards, flowers, and trees, which was very meaningful.

Canyoning involved diving into waterfalls, swimming, and sliding down, which was scary but felt amazing! You will basically get wet! I recommend using a waterproof camera. However, the guide took plenty of photos and sent the data on the same day, so it was all good.

鍾乳洞&SUP&キャニオニングのプランに参加しました。当初、バラス島上陸のプランでしたが、天候の都合によりキャニオニングに変更になりました。
SUPはやったことがなかったので不安だったのですが、初心者でも落ちることなく楽しく漕ぐことができました！虫やトカゲ、花や木など西表島固有の自然のこともガイドさんに色々教えていただき有意義でした。
キャニオニングは滝つぼにダイブしたり、泳いだり、滑り台をしたり、怖かったけどすごく気持ちよかったです！

I participated with two friends as a final memory of my 50s. It was my first experience with stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and I was able to stand up and paddle through a river lined with mangroves. Along the way, we went trekking and explored the jungle while wading up to our waists! I also saw the "sagaribana," which can only be seen once a year, for the first time. At the Kuura Falls, I was able to recharge my energy. Our guide was kind and interacted with us, who were moving at a slower pace, with a smile while explaining various things as we progressed.

Snorkeling at Balas Island was also wonderful; we enjoyed the beautiful sea with coral and tropical fish, and we even encountered a turtle. It was definitely an experience worth having at least once in a lifetime.

I was nervous about whether I could ride a SUP for the first time, but thanks to the instructor's clear explanations and support, I was able to stay on without falling even once! The instructor was friendly, easy to talk to, and funny, making the experience very enjoyable. The sea was a bit rough, so we couldn't go too far, but I was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the ocean. I would like to try again when the sea is calm!

The day before was cloudy, so I had almost given up on the shoot being postponed. I was anxious about the weather on the day itself, but I was moved by the stunning starry sky that exceeded my expectations. It was the first time I could see the Milky Way so clearly. Due to poor sea conditions on the day, we were unable to go to Barasu Island, so we received a refund of 3,000 yen and instead participated in the SUP and cave tour. The SUP was difficult to balance on, and I capsized several times, but once I got used to it, I was able to paddle and enjoyed it. The cave exploration introduced on Itte Q had some formations that showed how stalactites are formed, which was great. On the way to the cave, there was a tunnel where the Iriomote cat passes through.

I used this activity as my main event during my first visit to Okinawa. I was a bit anxious because I wasn't confident in my swimming skills, but thanks to the guidance from the instructor, I was able to enjoy snorkeling in the stunning scenery of Barasu Island and even had the luck of encountering a sea turtle.

In the afternoon, we explored the mangroves with kayaking and trekking. Since we were the only participants due to the timing, we were able to enjoy it thoroughly. I also learned that there is a night plan for stargazing available for those staying on Iriomote Island, and I would like to experience that next time.

I visited Okinawa to enjoy the extraordinary and nature, and thanks to this activity, I was able to create even more wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

During my second visit to Ishigaki Island, I participated in a tour to enjoy mangrove exploration with SUP on Iriomote Island. It was my first time on a SUP, but I felt reassured as I received proper instructions. I managed to maintain my balance quite well, allowing me to stand, sit, and even lie down, which let me appreciate the mangroves from various angles. I didn't fall in (not me, haha)!

The limestone cave, which I thought would be just a bonus, turned out to be so interesting that it could have been the main attraction. There were no handrails, it was narrow and dark, and we passed through three caves. By the end, we really had to crawl out, making it a thrilling exploration. It was the perfect way to enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island.

Our guide provided fascinating explanations about various plants and animals, and he was attentive to everyone. Since it was a small group, it made for a fun and lively tour. The guide took over 100 photos, capturing many great shots that became wonderful memories. Thank you very much!

As for the landing on Barasu Island, well... it was okay, but the boat ride was enjoyable and the sea was beautiful, so I’ll save snorkeling for next time.

2度目の石垣島訪問で今回は西表島でSUPでマングローブ巡りを満喫したくてツアーに参加しました。
SUPは初めてだったけれど、きちんと教えてもらえたので安心だったし、結構バランスは取れて、たったり座ったり寝転んだりできるので、いろんな角度でマングローブが楽しめました。落ちなかったし(私はww)！
そしておまけのつもりの鍾乳洞が、実はメインにしてもいいくらい面白かった。手すりなんてないし狭いし暗いし、三箇所の鍾乳洞を通ったけれど最後はほんとに這いつくばって出るしかなくて、探検隊満喫しました。西表島の自然を楽しむには最高です。
ガイドさんは色々な植物とか動物を説明してくれて面白かったし、皆んなに気を配ってくれて、少人数ということもあってわいわいとした楽しいツアーでした。
100枚以上の写真を撮ってくれたガイドさん、ベストショットが沢山あって良い思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。
コメントしてないバラス島上陸はまあ、、でもボートが楽しかったし海はきれいだったので、次回シュノーケリングを楽しみにとっておきます。

I was informed that lunch could be taken at any time while we were on the island (as long as we made it back in time for the return water buffalo cart), but in reality, the schedule was set to have lunch first upon arriving at Yufu Island. Not knowing this, I was about to explore Yufu Island when I was called by name and told, "Lunch is first. Please don't be late." I felt very uncomfortable, as I thought I hadn't been informed about this. I'm not sure if there was a lack of communication among the staff or if it was due to insufficient explanation, but I believe this should not be left ambiguous.

スタッフ間での連携が取れていなかったのか、
スタッフの説明不足だったのかわかりませんが

Not only did we enjoy paddleboarding, but we also had a fulfilling day exploring the mangrove forest and snorkeling! The guide was kind and taught us many things, so it was a lot of fun! I highly recommend it!
