My first time in Ishigaki Island and my first stargazing tour; I was just overwhelmed with emotion at everything. The explanations were thorough and easy to understand, making it very educational, and the hour flew by in no time.

初めての石垣島、初めての星空ツアー、とにかく全てに感動しかありませんでした。
解説も丁寧で分かりやすくとても勉強になり、あっという間の1時間でした。

In mid-July, I traveled to Miyako Island with a friend and signed up for this tour!

As a result, we got some incredibly satisfying photos taken! When we arrived at the location, we were guided to the photographer, who asked, "Do you have any poses in mind?" I hadn't thought of anything, so I just asked them to take the lead. They provided detailed instructions, and we took about eight poses (six full-body shots from a distance and two close-ups where my face was visible).

*The photos were sent to us via email later with a URL for download.*

During the shoot, we had to stay still for about 15 seconds, which was quite challenging due to the strong wind that day…^^; However, I am very satisfied with the photos! I even bragged about them to my friend, haha.

Just a note: both my friend and I wore dresses, so even though we stood still for 15 seconds, the wind made the skirt part flutter. If you're looking for perfect photos, it might be better to wear outfits that won't be affected by the wind (the photos we received are fine and I consider that part of the memory, but for those who dislike any blurriness, it's something to keep in mind).

Another point to note is that a few days before, we received an email about a change in the meeting location (I had planned to stay at the Tokyu Resort Hotel, and the original meeting place was within walking distance, but the new location was about a 30-minute walk away). Because of this, I planned to take a taxi that day, but it was difficult to find one that evening due to the location…

When I called to inform them that I might not make it on time because I couldn't find a taxi, they kindly sent a staff member to pick us up since it was only about a five-minute drive from the Tokyu Resort Hotel (they also provided transportation after the shoot).

Currently, due to a shortage of rental cars during the pandemic, taxis in Miyako Island are busy and hard to catch, so it might be better to have reliable transportation to the meeting point…!

However, the photos are truly wonderful, and I believe the beauty of the sea and the stars is part of Miyako Island's charm, so I confidently recommend this as a memorable experience!

7月中旬に友達と宮古島に旅行に行き、
このツアーを申し込みました！

結果、とっても満足の写真を取ってもらいました！
場所に着いたら、カメラマンさんのところに案内され、「撮りたいポーズはありますか？」と聞かれましたが、何にも考えておらず、お任せでお願いしました。
細かく指示していただき、8ポーズほど取りました(6ポーズを遠目の全身、2ポーズは全身だけど、顔のわかる形でアップめ)
※写真は後日メールでURLが届き、ダウンロードする方式です。

取ってる間は、15秒ほど静止していないといけなかったのですが、風邪が強い日なのもあり割と大変でした…^^;
でも、写真は大満足です！　
友達にも自慢しました笑

ただ、注意点として私も友達もワンピースを着ていったので、15秒静止していても風でスカート部分が揺れてしまったので、
完璧な写真を求めるなら風に影響されない服装もありかなと思います(頂いた写真も、私としてはそれも思い出だし、実際気にならない程度ですが、少しでもブレるのは嫌だという方のために念のため…)

また、もう一つの注意点として、
数日前に集合場所が変更になった旨のメールが届きました(その日は東急リゾートホテルに泊まる予定で、ネット申込み時の集合場所が徒歩圏内であったで申し込んだのですが、変更後は徒歩30分ほどかかる場所でした)。
このため、当日はタクシーで行こうと考えていたのですが、当日の夜は場所が場所なだけか全然捕まらず……
急遽、タクシーが捕まらない(集合時間に間に合わないかもしれない)旨お電話したところ、東急リゾートホテルなら車で5分程度なので、ということでご厚意で急遽スタッフさんに迎えに来ていただけました(撮影終了後、送迎もしていただきました)。

現在、宮古島は、コロナ禍でレンタカー不足からのタクシーも忙しく、なかなか捕まらない状況があるため、集合場所まで足が確実な方のほうが良いかもしれません…！

ただ、写真はほんとに素敵で、海だけでなく星の綺麗さも宮古島の魅力だと思えたので、記念に自信をもっておすすめいたします！

It was a tumultuous start when the participants who were supposed to share the car didn't show up on time, but it turned into just us in the car without any companions. Thanks to my child's wishes, we spent time focusing on insects. We were amazed by the size of the coconut crab and were able to see creatures like the green tree python and the scorpion, which are not easy to encounter, creating wonderful memories for my child.

Although my child wasn't very interested in the starry sky at first, once our eyes adjusted, we could see the Milky Way and had a great time. I'm grateful to our guide.

同じ車に乗る予定の参加者が時間になっても来ないという波乱のスタートでしたが、同乗者なしで自分達だけの車となり、子供の希望で昆虫メインの時間を過ごせました。ヤシガニの大きさに驚き、キノボリトカゲやサソリモドキと、なかなか出会えない生き物を見る事ができ、子供にとっては良い思い出になりました。
子供があまり興味の無かった星空も、眼が慣れると天の川が見え、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
ガイドの方には感謝です。

It was a tour that was never boring, as they shared various information about the island, including trivia and details about different plants and animals. I would like to request this tour again when I come to Ishigaki Island.

様々な動植物の他に、豆知識や島の情報なども話してくださり飽きないツアーでした。

It was a wonderful location, and the kind staff created a fun atmosphere throughout the shoot, allowing the kids to stay engaged. The finished photos were lovely, and we were very satisfied. We created beautiful family memories. When we had trouble hailing a taxi after the shoot, the staff kindly offered to take us back to our accommodation, which was fantastic. Although the moon was out and we didn't have a completely starry sky this time, we were still extremely satisfied. Next time, I would love to have Subaru take our photos under a fully starry sky. If you want to capture starry sky photos in Miyako Island, I highly recommend this service!

素晴らしいロケーションで、優しいお姉さんが終始楽しい雰囲気で撮影してくださり、子供達も飽きずに撮影出来ました。仕上がりの写真も素敵で大満足。家族の思い出ができました。撮影後にタクシーが捕まらず困っていたら、宿泊先まで送ってくださったり、スタッフさん方も素晴らしかったです。今回月が出ていたので満天の星空ではなかったけど、それでも大大満足でした。次回は満天の星空でまたすばるさんに撮影していただきたいです。宮古島で星空の写真を残したいなら、こちらの業者さんを強くお薦めします！

On the day of the tour, there were many clouds, and it was said that it might be difficult to see the stars. However, when we arrived, we were lucky enough to have clear skies, and the night sky was filled with stars, which was wonderful. Additionally, during the Jungle Night Tour, we were able to see many creatures, including a large coconut crab, which I was personally very satisfied with.

The guide was also very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

However, since there were many families participating, it was unavoidable that small children wanted to turn on their lights while looking at the stars, which unfortunately disrupted the stargazing experience. It might be a good idea to organize tours for families only or for adults only.

当日は雲が多かったこともあり、今日は星空は難しいかもしれないという話でしたが、着いてみたら運よく晴れて夜空には星空が広がっていて、素敵でした。また、ジャングルナイトツアーということで、途中、沢山の生き物を見ることができ、大きなヤシガニも見ることができて個人的には大変満足です。

また、ガイドさんが非常にフレンドリーに案内してくれて楽しかったです。

ただ、ご家族で参加されている方が多いので仕方ないのですが、小さなお子さんが星空見るときに照明ライトを点けたがってぐずってしまい、そこだけ星空観賞の邪魔になったので残念でした。家族参加のみ、もしくは大人だけのツアーを組んでもいいかもしれないですね。

I thought that coconut crabs would be wandering around at night. According to the guide, "Coconut crabs are quite rare! It's as exciting as finding a sea turtle." During the one-hour tour, we were able to spot about 5 to 6 of them. Not only did we find coconut crabs, but we also discovered various insects, and the guide provided explanations, making it possible to do a summer vacation research project. You can borrow one flashlight per group for the tour. It's more enjoyable to have one for each person, so it's good to bring your own if you have it. Also, some areas have uneven cobblestones, so sneakers are recommended. There is only space for 3 to 4 cars at the meeting point. There is a solid parking lot about 100 meters away at the observation deck, which I think is safer for parking. We were able to see constellations and shooting stars, and they even took photos for us. It was a fun and fulfilling tour. Thank you very much.

ヤシガニって、夜になったらそこらへんをウロウロ歩いているのかと思っていました。
ガイドさんによると
「ヤシガニ結構レアです！ウミガメ見つけた時と同じくらい興奮します」と。
１時間ほどのツアーで5~6匹探せました。
ヤシガニだけでなく、いろんな虫も見つけてガイドさんが説明してくれるので、これで夏休みの自由研究ができちゃうくらい
ツアーでは懐中電灯を一組にひとつ借りられます。一人ずつ持っていたほうが楽しいので、自前のがあるといいです。
また、足元の石畳がデコボコしているところもあるので、スニーカーがオススメです。
集合場所には車が3~4台停められるスペースしかありません。100mほど離れたところに展望台のしっかりとした駐車場があり、こちらのほうが安心して停められると思います。
星座や流れ星も見られ、写真も撮ってくださり、盛りだくさんな楽しいツアーでした。

This was my first time participating. My brothers, who love insects, were very happy. However, I wouldn't recommend it on busy days since it can get late.

今回初めて参加しました。昆虫好きの兄弟なので大変喜んでましたー。ただ、遅くなるので日中が忙しい日はお勧めしません。

Originally, the scheduled date was supposed to have rain or clouds, so the staff consulted about changing the date, and we finally welcomed a sunny day. We were really lucky, and on the day of the shoot, the weather was fantastic; we could see the Milky Way clearly. Since neither of us was very good at posing, the staff were kind and taught us how to pose. I was truly happy to take photos under such a beautiful starry sky on our honeymoon. It was the most beautiful starry sky I have ever seen in my life. I'm glad I entrusted everything to them; it became a lifelong memory.

元々の予定日には雨や曇りなので、スタッフの方は日付変更相談いただき、やっと晴れの日を迎えました。本当にとてもラッキーで、撮影の日はめちゃくちゃいい天気で、目も天の川をはっきり見えるぐらいでした。2人もポーズが上手くないので、スッタフの方は優しくて教えて貰いました。新婚旅行でこのような綺麗な星空✨の下で写真を撮ったのは本当に嬉しかったです。今までの人生で一番綺麗な星空でした。全てお任せしてよかったです一生の思い出になりました。

This was my second trip to Miyako Island, and this time we decided to try stargazing photography for the first time! I made a reservation for this experience.

The travel date coincided with a full moon, so I was informed in advance that the photos would be taken with moonlight, which helped me visualize what to expect.

On the day of the shoot, I had also made a reservation for dinner, and when I communicated that, they set a meeting time that allowed for plenty of flexibility.

There were some moments of waiting for the clouds to clear, but the shoot went smoothly, and I received about 15 photos, which I am very satisfied with!

At first, it wasn't a starry sky, which was a bit disappointing, but fortunately, it was the day of the supermoon, and the moon was truly beautiful! We were just silhouettes in the photos, but that was nice too. I am very pleased with the final results.

宮古島旅行は2回目ですが、今回初めて星空フォトをしてみよう！ということになり、こちらを予約させて頂きました。
旅行日は満月で、月明かりでの写真撮影になること、その場合こーゆー仕上がりになりますよ。と事前に確認して頂き、イメージがしやすかったです(*^^*)
撮影の当日は夜ご飯の予約もしていた為、その時間も伝えたところ、待ち合わせもゆとりのある時間で設定していただきました。
撮影は雲待ちとかはありましたがスムーズに終わり、写真も15枚程送って下さり、大変満足しています(≧∇≦*)！！

最初は星空ではなかったので、少し残念な気持ちもありましたが、タイミングよくスーパームーンの日だったのもあり、月が本当に綺麗でした！
自分たちはシルエットのみ。という感じでしたが、それもまた良い♪
仕上がりは大変満足しています(^-^)

The staff provided excellent explanations, and I was able to participate enjoyably. Each person is lent a reclining chair, allowing for relaxation while enjoying the starry sky. If you visit Ishigaki Island, I definitely recommend stargazing.

For our honeymoon memories, we had the chance to take a photo with the Milky Way, which I had always wanted to do! The Milky Way was beautifully visible to the naked eye, and it looked even more stunning in the photo, making it the best memory ever.

新婚旅行の思い出に、ずっと撮ってみたかった天の川との写真を撮ってもらいました！肉眼でも天の川が綺麗に見えて、写真になるとより美しく写り、最高の思い出になりました。

When I participated, I was able to see various creatures such as coconut crabs, pythons, and owls. The starry sky was beautiful, and the guide shared enjoyable stories. I would like to participate again.

私が参加した時はヤシガニ、ハブ、フクロウ等様々な生き物を見ることが出来ました。

I participated with my family of four, including my children (7 and 5 years old). The timing was set a bit earlier, and they talked about stars, which the kids enjoyed listening to. The finished photos were also very beautiful, and I am extremely satisfied! I would like to use this service again next time!

時間帯は少し早め設定していただいており星の話などしてくれて子ども達は喜んで聞いていました。

It was a kind initiative to accept reservations and cancellations up until the day of the event, especially since it was weather-dependent. I would have appreciated it if the tour explanation included that it was a difficult situation for taking photos. The reclining chairs were not comfortable, and the position was tough, so be prepared for that. The content was very good, but it was hard to understand because the pointer was quickly moved away, and I wasn't sure when to use the binoculars. I think it would be better if that aspect could be improved. Honestly, I would have been even happier if we could see the stars for a little longer (another 30 minutes).

当日まで予約とキャンセルを受け付けてくれるので、天候に左右されるイベントとしては親切な企画でした。写真をとるのが難しいシチュエーションだったので、ツアーの説明にいれていただいたらうれしかったです。リクライニングチェアーは快適とはいえず、体勢はしんどいので覚悟が必要です。内容はとてもいいのですが、ポインターをすぐにどかしてしまうのでわかりにくいですし、双眼鏡の使いどころもよくわからなかったです。その点は、改善いただくとより良いと思います。正直、もう少し長く（あと３０分）星が見れるとさらにうれしかったです。

Two years ago, my main purpose for visiting Miyako Island was to take photos of the starry sky! However, despite trying for two days, the weather was bad and I couldn't take any pictures... The person in charge was very kind and even came to greet me. When I visit again, I plan to have that same person take my photos for a two-year revenge... Unfortunately, the person in charge two years later was away on a business trip, but another staff member was also very kind and took truly amazing photos for me. It was really an excellent starry sky photo tour!!! Thank you very much!!!

２年前に宮古島に訪れた際１番の目的が星空フォトでした！
しかし、二日間粘りましたが、天気が悪く撮ることができませんでした…
ご担当された方が親切に対応してくれて、わざわざ挨拶にも来てくれました。
また訪れるときは、その担当の方に撮ってもらおうと思い、２年後のリベンジ…
あいにく２年後の担当の方は、ご出張でご不在でしたが、別の担当の方も親切に対応していただき本当に最高な写真を撮っていただきました。

I participated with my fourth-grade child. We walked along a narrow path in the forest, relying on our lights. Just that alone made it feel like an adventure, and my child seemed to really enjoy it. Along the way, we all searched for living creatures. The guide passionately shared detailed information about the creatures we found. The guide's love for wildlife really came through, and we had a wonderful time.

Then, we turned off our lights and saw the starry sky in complete darkness. I was moved to realize just how many stars there are. We also got to see the coconut crab we were hoping to find. I'm really glad we participated. Thank you very much!

森のなかの細道をライトを頼りに歩きます。それだけでも探検気分でこどもは楽しそうでした。
その道すがら、みんなで生きものを探します。見つけた生きものについて、ガイドさんが詳細に、そして熱く語ってくれます。ガイドさんの生きもの愛がとても伝わってきて、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
そして、ライトを消して、真っ暗闇の中見る
満天の星空。星ってこんなにあるんだな、と改めて認識でき、感動しました。

I participated with my child who is in the second year of middle school. We walked along a narrow path in the forest, relying on our lights. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and answered any questions we had about the creatures we encountered with precision and passion, which was fascinating and made the experience very enjoyable. Additionally, the starry sky we saw after walking quite a distance was breathtaking. I had never seen the Milky Way so clearly before, so it was truly wonderful! Thank you very much!!

ガイドさんがかなりの博識で、見つけた生きものについて、どんな質問にも的確に、かつ熱く語ってくれるのですが、それが面白く、とても楽しめます。
また、歩いて行った先で（結構歩いたと思います）見る満天の星空は、感動できです。
天の川があんな風にはっきり見たことがなかったので、本当によかったです！

Miyako Island has unpredictable weather that often doesn't match the forecast, but we were lucky and it was sunny! At the meeting time, there was heavy rain, and we waited in the car because we hadn't taken photos yet. We waited for just under an hour, but afterwards, we were able to take wonderful pictures. Since these are photos I couldn't have taken myself, I'm glad I asked for them. I definitely want to request this again when I visit Miyako Island next time.

宮古島は天気予報があてにならないくらい天気が変わりやすいですが、運良く晴れました！
集合時間には強い雨が振り、前の方がまだ撮れてないからと車で待っていました。一時間弱待ちましたが、その後素敵な写真を撮って頂けました。自分では撮れない写真なので、頼んで良かったです。また宮古島に行く際は必ずお願いしたいと思いました。

We participated as a couple because we wanted to see coconut crabs, and we were able to see various other unusual creatures as well. We were able to see several coconut crabs, and I was thrilled when I found one myself. The weather was nice, so the starry sky was also very beautiful. The guide's explanations about the creatures and the stars were detailed and easy to understand. They also included information about Miyako Island, which was helpful for our trip. Walking through the darkness was very exciting and fun. However, even at night in summer, it is still quite hot. It is essential to avoid skin exposure for insect repellent, but due to COVID-19, wearing a mask made it quite tough. I recommend wearing lightweight clothing and using insect repellent.

ヤシガニを見てみたくて夫婦で参加しましたが、他にも変わった生き物をいろいろ見られました。ヤシガニも数匹見ることができ、自分でも一匹見つけられたときは感動しました。お天気がよかったので、星空もとてもきれいでした。ガイドさんの説明は、生き物も星も詳しくてわかりやすかったです。宮古島情報も盛り込んでくださり、旅の参考になりました。暗闇の中を進んでいくのはとてもワクワク感があり、楽しかったです。ただ、夏は夜とはいえとにかく暑いです。虫除けのため肌の露出を避けることは必須ですが、コロナ禍ではマスクの着用もあるため、かなりしんどかったです。できるだけ薄手のものを着用し、虫除け剤を使用することをお勧めします。

I signed up while keeping an eye on the weather, as cancellations were possible until the evening of the day. There were a few clouds, but I was able to see the Big Dipper and Scorpius clearly. During the event, I also saw shooting stars three times. In the latter half, as the boat returns to the port, the city lights and the lights of the ships docked in the harbor are quite bright, so I think the best chance to see the stars is in the first half, before the boat leaves the harbor.

当日夕方までキャンセル可能ということで、空の様子を見ながら参加申し込みしました。少し雲はありましたが、北斗七星やさそり座をはっきり見ることが出来ました。また、参加中に3回流れ星が見えました。船が港に戻る後半は、市街地の明かりや港に停泊中の船の灯がかなり明るいので、星を見るのは船が港から出て行く前半がチャンスかと思います。

I was able to see a lot of coconut crabs and the starry sky was absolutely stunning! Teru's guiding was lively and very enjoyable!

It was a full moon, so the starry sky photos weren't as I had hoped, but the pictures with the moon turned out beautifully, and I was very satisfied. They also taught me some poses, so I went without much thought, and the photos turned out lovely. Next time, I would like to have the starry sky captured during a new moon.

Since the sky was cloudy, the start was delayed by about 30 minutes. I understand it can be busy, but I would appreciate a heads-up in advance.

満月だったので思っていたような星空の写真ではなかったですが、月との写真もとてもきれいに撮って頂いたので大満足でした。ポーズも教えてくれたので、あまり何も考えずに行きましたが素敵な写真になりました。次は新月に星空の撮影をしてもらいたいと思いました。
空が曇っていたこともあり、時間が30分程度遅れての開始となりました。忙しいとは思いますが事前に連絡をもらえるとありがたいなと思いました。

I went on a night tour to explore subtropical plants and animals and to observe the starry sky. Initially, we thought about finding a place on our own, but joining the tour was definitely the right choice. Exploring the dark mountain paths with only a flashlight to search for subtropical plants and animals was quite challenging.

We successfully found a coconut crab, and we received explanations about geckos, spiders, and various subtropical plants, which increased our knowledge and made for a fun experience. The starry sky coincided with the best supermoon of 2022; although we couldn't see the Milky Way, we were treated to a view of the moonlight sparkling on the water's surface, a sight that could only be seen on this day. Thank you for your assistance with photography and everything else.

夜の亜熱帯動植物探しと星空見学に行って来ました。もともと自分たちで場所を探して行ってみようかと思っていましたが、ツアーに参加して大正解でした。真っ暗な山道を懐中電灯だけで探検し、亜熱帯動植物を探すのは難しいと思いました。
ヤシガニも無事見つかり、ヤモリ、クモ、亜熱帯植物も色々解説して頂き知識も増えて楽しい体験ができました。星空は、2022年で最高のスーパームーンと重なり、天の川を見ることは出来ませんでしたが、代わりに月夜が水面にキラキラする、この日にしか見れない景色が見れました。写真撮影等、お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。

I wanted my 3-year-old child to experience nature, so we participated in a tour that went late into the night. I was a bit anxious since I brought another child along, but all the staff were very attentive, and my child had a truly valuable experience.

We wanted to see coconut crabs and frogs, but it had been a few days with little rain, which lowered our chances of encountering them. However, the staff worked hard to find them, and we were able to see them safely.

We also saw several habu snakes and witnessed cicadas emerging, which made my child very excited. I truly felt that coming to Ishigaki Island was a wonderful experience. I would love to participate again when my child grows up.

3歳の子供に自然の体験をさせたいと思い夜遅くまでのツアーでしたが参加させて頂きました。
もう一人子供も連れてなので不安な面もありましたが、スタッフさん皆さんが気にかけてくださりとても貴重な体験を子どもが経験できました。
ヤシガニやカエルが見たかったのですが、ここ数日雨も少なく遭遇できる確率も低いとのことでしたがスタッフのみなさんが必死に探してくれて無事に見ることができました。
他にもハブも何匹か見たりセミの羽化が見れたりと子どもも大はしゃぎ。石垣島にきてほんとによかったと思える体験ができました。
子どもが成長したらまた参加したいです。

I thought I might doze off for an hour, but I was overwhelmed by the humorous explanations and the captivating charm of the stars, making it an incredibly enjoyable and fulfilling experience that passed in the blink of an eye. Additionally, I took a taxi to get there, and after the event, the staff member came to help us in an area where it was difficult to catch a taxi, introducing us to several taxi companies. Thanks to that, we found one right away. It was a tour that I definitely want to participate in again!

1時間寝てしまうかなと思いつつ参加しましたが、ユーモア溢れる説明と引き込まれる星の魅力に圧倒してしまい、あっという間に過ぎ去るくらい楽しく充実した時間でした。また、今回タクシーで移動したのですが、終了後のタクシーが捕まらない所に担当者さんが来てくださり、数々のタクシー会社さんを紹介してくださりました。お陰ですぐに見つかりました。是非また参加したいと思えるツアーでした！

I was more thrilled in the jungle than I had imagined, and I was able to encounter many creatures. The starry sky viewed from the beach was also enchanting and beautiful. The guide was friendly and approachable, with a wealth of knowledge and experience, and I was able to hear many interesting stories. From start to finish, including the shuttle bus, it was a lot of fun. It was a valuable experience and became the best memory of Ishigaki Island. Thank you very much.

想像していたよりもジャングルでドキドキしましたが、たくさんのいきものたちに出会うことができました。ビーチで見る星空も幻想的で素敵でした。
ガイドさんは気さくで親しみやすく、豊富な知識と経験をお持ちで興味深いお話をたくさん聞かせてもらえました。送迎バスも含めて、最初から最後までずっと楽しかったです。貴重な体験ができ、石垣島の最高の思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

Thank you for kindly accommodating us despite the same-day reservation. We were able to see many creatures in the forest that we wouldn't have been able to enter on our own. Just beyond the forest, we discovered a quiet sandy beach with no footprints! It was pitch dark, but it felt special, and I'm glad I participated in this tour. We also had plenty of time to enjoy the starry sky, which left us very satisfied.
