I had a great time participating while listening to the guide's stories and the songs played on the sanshin at the sightseeing spots in Ishigaki Island. The optional glass-bottom boat tour at Kabira Bay was also wonderful, with the colors of the sea being incredibly beautiful, creating great memories.

It was more efficient to see the sights on the islands by joining a tour rather than buying tickets individually. I recommend joining a tour for those who want to visit multiple islands in one day! In this tour, we had enough time to relax on the highlights of the islands, Iriomote Island and Taketomi Island, which was great. Even though it was January, the weather was nice, and the blue of the sea was striking.

I participated alone, but I had a great time. The only downside was that the weather was drizzly, but even so, the sea in Ishigaki was beautiful enough. I also got to enjoy some island cuisine for lunch, which was very delicious. The guide's yunta had a uniquely Okinawan melancholic feel, which was really nice. The cows on Taketomi Island were very cute, and I was able to stroll around leisurely. Next time, I want to come back on a sunny day for a do-over.

It was a wonderful visit to Taketomi Island with a temperature of 26°C even in winter. I signed up for the water buffalo cart tour, and after riding the cart, I rented a bicycle. This was the right choice, as I was able to take a nice ride around the West Pier and the beach, enjoying the beautiful scenery. I definitely want to visit Taketomi Island again and spend some relaxing time there.

I recommend renting a bicycle and suggest staying for as long as possible.

After having lunch and seeing the butterfly garden and Manta Beach, we ran out of time. On Taketomi Island, we did some sightseeing with a glass-bottom boat and a water buffalo cart, but we couldn't visit places like Hoshi no Suna Beach, which disappointed the kids. I wish we had more free time on Taketomi Island. Although we had various experiences arranged for us, the schedule was quite packed, so I think it's good to carefully consider which tour to choose.

Lastly, regarding lunch, the children's meal was supposed to be chosen on-site, but we were guided to a prepared table, and in the end, the child could hardly eat anything, and we ended up just paying for it. I did check with the staff, but they seemed busy, so I think it was a mistake.

Although the weather was unfortunately bad on the day I participated, I was able to spend a very fulfilling day as the title suggests. I was able to see beautiful rainbows multiple times on the mangrove river, and the guide's explanations were thorough, allowing me to appreciate the mangroves better! When we crossed to the island on the cattle, the local guide provided detailed explanations and even sang with a shamisen, making for a wonderful experience. My favorite part was Taketomi Island! The scenery was just as I had seen in guidebooks, and it was lovely! Riding around on a bicycle allowed me to feel the pleasant breeze, creating the best memories! Next time, I want to try again on a day with good weather!

I was torn between visiting three or four islands, but reducing it to three turned out to be the right choice as it gave us a bit more time. The system of having staff at each destination detach the vouchers was easy to understand, and it felt less restrictive compared to tours that require constant group participation. The lunch was surprisingly delicious, and we were blessed with good weather, making for a fun day. I think it would be quite difficult to manage such an efficient itinerary on my own, so I'm glad I participated.

On a clear day, the boat to Taketomi Island was smooth, and we arrived in no time. The building near the ferry terminal had restrooms and a shop, so we waited for our glass-bottom boat while browsing for souvenirs.

Boats were continuously arriving, and after waiting for two, the glass-bottom boat departed. We were able to see many fish as we visited several feeding spots. Next was the bus. Since it was a shared ride, we waited at the ferry terminal for another boat to arrive before departing. We strolled along the beach where we could find star sand and headed to the water buffalo cart station located in the center of the village.

At the reception counter of the building, we received instructions on which water buffalo cart to board. We were leisurely pulled through the town, while the person holding the buffalo's reins sang with a sanshin and guided us. After returning to the water buffalo station, we took group photos, individual photos, and received our boarding certificate photo.

I had made a reservation for the boat back to Ishigaki Island when we arrived at Taketomi Island, so I hurried to catch that bus. I regretted not having more free time to explore the laid-back town. It was a bit of a hectic tour, but it became a wonderful memory. (Departure at 1 PM, return at 4 PM)

ひっきりなしに船がはいってくるので、2隻待ってからグラスポートは出発。餌付けされている場所を何か所か周り沢山の魚を見ることが出来ました。次はバス。こちらも混乗なので、別の船到着を船乗り場で待ってからの出発。星の砂が見つかる砂浜を散策し、集落の真ん中にある水牛車乗り場へ。建物の受付カウンターへ行き、どの水牛車に乗るかの指示を受けて乗りました。
のんびりと街中を引いてもらい、また水牛の手綱を持つ方が蛇三線で歌を歌って、案内をしてくれました。水牛乗り場へ戻って集合写真、個別写真を撮り、乗車証明写真をもらいました。
石垣島へ戻る船の予約は竹富島に着いた時に指定していたので、そのバスに乗れる様に急いで行動。
のんびりした街中、自由散策時間があれば良かったと反省。ちょっと慌ただしい観光でしたが、とても良い想い出になりました。

I booked this tour because I didn't have time to rent a car due to my flight schedule, and it allowed me to quickly visit both Ishigaki Island and the surrounding islands. The pickup service to the hotel was great, and the explanations were clear and easy to understand. It might have been fortunate that there were hardly any tourists in January. Although January is usually cloudy, the weather was summer-like with heat and sunshine, making the ocean incredibly beautiful. The locals even told me I came at a good time this year, which made me even happier. One downside was that I couldn't choose my lunch. Some people said it was delicious, while others found it a bit peculiar. I personally found it a little challenging, but it wasn't bad at all. Since it was already prepared when we arrived, I think it would be fine for those who are hungry. It was my first trip to Ishigaki Island, and it made me want to go back soon. I had a great time. 初めての石垣島で飛行機の関係上レンタカーを借りてる時間もなかったのでさくっと石垣島も離島もいけるこのツアーに予約しました。ホテルまで迎えもあり、説明も、わかりやすくて本当によかったです。1月で観光客がほとんど、いなかったのも幸いだったのかもしれまん。本来1月の天気は曇りが多いらしが、夏並みの、暑さと太陽で海がものすごくキレイでした。今年はいい時に来たと現地の人から言われて更に嬉しくなりました。ひとつ残念なのが、お昼ご飯が選べないことです。美味しいと言う人、ちょっとクセあるなー。と言う人、それぞれでわたしも少しだけ苦手でしたが決してまずいわけではありません。着いたらもうすでに用意されてるのでお腹空いてる人からしたらいいとおもいます。初めての石垣島旅行でしたが、またすぐ行きたい気持ちになりました。とても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました！

We visited famous spots, including Kabira Bay, in 3.5 hours. (The sunset is also very beautiful.) On the way back, I took the 8:10 PM flight to Kansai International Airport to return to Osaka. We were able to efficiently explore the islands. It can be quite challenging to arrange each ticket individually, so I recommend these package tours.
