I participated in December. I was looking forward to seeing the coconut crabs, so it was disappointing that I couldn't see the stars, but I really enjoyed the night tour since I don't often get the chance to go on one. It was a lot of fun to learn about other creatures and plants, as well as the stories from our guide about Ishigaki Island, even during the car rides!
I'll come back for a rematch during the new moon in summer! I'm glad I was able to rent rubber boots!

I absolutely wanted to experience the water buffalo cart on my first visit to Taketomi Island! It was raining, but I didn't mind at all because the red brick houses and the water buffalo provided the best healing experience! The explanations from the staff and the folk songs were also wonderful. I definitely want to experience it again when I come back. I rented a bicycle and went to Nishi-Sanbashi and Kondoi Beach. I was first impressed by Nishi-Sanbashi, and then when I arrived at Kondoi Beach, I was amazed to see some clear skies, making it feel like a paradise. I didn't have enough time to go to Kaiji Beach, so I definitely want to go next time!
