On the final day of our 4-night, 5-day trip to Taketomi Island and Ishigaki Island, despite the weather forecast predicting rain from the morning, we decided to participate in a canoe tour at Kabira Bay, accepting the possibility of rain until our evening flight.

However, we were greeted with good weather and even glimpses of sunshine. The staff, Shin-chan and Gin-chan, arrived at the meeting point with smiles.

In addition to us, a family of four also joined, and perhaps because it was a small group, we received kind and thorough guidance, creating a warm, homey atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy canoeing.

At the canoeing location, we were almost the only ones there, and we spent a peaceful and wonderful time.

We also visited the hamburger shop that Shin-chan recommended, and it was very delicious.

少人数なのもあってか
親切丁寧に指導して頂き
何だかアットホームな雰囲気で
カヌーを楽しめました。

体験カヌーの場所には
ほぼ我々のみで
穏やかで素敵な時間を過ごせました。

スタッフのしんちゃんがお勧めと言ってた
ハンバーガー屋さんにも行きましたが
とても美味しかったです。

Before the sun rises, they pick you up by car and take you to the starting point. This time, there were many clouds and strong winds, so unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunrise. However, our guide was persistent until the last moment and even took us on a mangrove tour at the end. The SUP itself is fun, and they guide you in a way that you can enjoy it regardless of the weather, so I highly recommend it. I thought I would only be able to take a few photos since we couldn't bring our belongings, but the guide took nearly 70 photos, and I was very satisfied afterward. On the way back, they drop you off at the hotel around 7 AM. I want to try again next time I come to Ishigaki to hopefully see the sunrise.

日が昇る前の暗い中、車で迎えにきてくれて、スタート地点まで連れて行ってくれます。
今回は雲が多く風も強かったので、残念ながら日の出を見ることはできなかったです。
ただ、ガイドさんがギリギリまで粘ってくれた上に、最後の時間にマングローブ側のツアーをしてくれました。SUP自体も楽しいですし、天候に関わらず楽しめるように案内してくれるのでおすすめです。
手荷物が持っていけないので写真は数枚かなと思っていたらガイドさんが70枚近く撮ってくれて、終わった後も大満足でした。
帰りは7時くらいにホテルまで送ってもらえます。
また石垣来た時はサンライズが見られるようにまた挑戦したいです。

First, for those who are unsure about participating in this tour, I want to emphasize that it is the only tour where you can fully enjoy the top-notch activities of Ishigaki Island by coming, seeing, and experiencing them. We were concerned about the weather, so we made a last-minute reservation the day before.

On the day of the tour, due to the unpredictable weather, we switched to a canoe experience, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. The water was a beautiful color, almost transparent, and as we paddled, we were greeted by rare animals, making it hard to contain our excitement as time flew by.

The staff member who guided us shared many interesting stories about the island along the way, creating a friendly atmosphere that made us laugh a lot.

The sea was calm, and whenever the current picked up, the staff quickly provided support with the boat, so we never felt anxious. They also made sure to give us adequate breaks to avoid exhausting ourselves, and we enjoyed talking while learning about the island's unique features when we were on land.

When taking photos, they were considerate about not showing our faces, which made us feel at ease during the tour.

They provided marine shoes and life jackets, and even prepared water for us to wash off the sand before leaving, making this tour highly recommended for those considering a last-minute participation.

On our way back, we enjoyed the recommended restaurants and local fruits suggested by the staff, which made for a fulfilling day both physically and mentally.

This was my first visit to Ishigaki Island, and I am incredibly excited to have experienced such a special feeling of receiving energy from nature in the midst of a World Heritage site.

まずこのツアーに参加するか迷ってる方にお伝えしたい事は、来て・見て・体感する石垣島の最高級のアクティビティを堪能できる唯一のツアーであるという事です。私たちは天候の心配もあったので前日に飛び込み予約をさせていただきました。

当日は天候不順もありカヌー体験に変更されましたがこれがまた素晴らしい経験をさせてくれました。
カラッと晴れた空に透けて下が見えそうな水の色、漕いでる途中には珍しい動物達に迎えられ興奮した気持ちが抑えられぬまま時間が過ぎて行きました。

ガイドを務めてくださったスタッフさんは道中も含め島の面白い話をたくさんして下さり、和やかな雰囲気も楽しみつつ沢山笑ってしまいました。

海の流れも穏やかで時折波が早く流れる際はスタッフの方がすぐに船のサポートをして下さり不安になる場面が一度もありませんでした。体力が消耗してしまわない様に適度なお休み時間も作っていただき、陸に上がって島の特色に触れながらお話し話聞かせてもらいました。

お写真を撮る際もお顔が映らないようにするか配慮していただき細やかな気遣いをしていただき安心してツアーに参加することができました。

マリンシューズやライフジャケットも貸していただけて、帰り際に砂を落とす為のお水も用意して下さったので飛び込み参加を考えている方にもオススメのツアーです。

帰り際にはスタッフさんにオススメしていただいたご飯屋さんや地元の果物を堪能して心も体も満たされた1日でした。

石垣島を訪れたのは今回が初めてでしたが、世界遺産の真ん中で自然からエネルギーを貰うような特別な感覚を味わえた事にすごく興奮しています。

This time, I traveled to Ishigaki Island during the rainy season! I was hoping for at least one good day of weather. I heard that the weather in Ishigaki Island doesn't always match the forecast, so I didn't make any reservations in advance and decided to wait and see which day would be the best to go...

On the last day of the trip, I booked a day tour to the elusive island, snorkeling, and canoeing to experience nature! A lively young man was in charge, and seeing his well-trained body was very reassuring, haha. It turned out that it was his last working day, so we were motivated to have a great time!

The canoeing took place in an area within Ishigaki Island, and I was amazed at how much the scenery changed with just a slight shift from the sea area. It felt like an adventure with mangroves and abundant nature all around, making me feel like I was on an expedition!

As for the elusive island, it was surprisingly sunny, which is rare lately, and the sea was so clear and emerald green that it hardly felt like Japan. I was truly moved! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

今回、梅雨の時期に石垣島へ旅行に！
天気が1日でもいいことを信じて行くつもりでした
石垣島は天気予報通りなことはなかなかないと聞き、事前にプランを予約しては行かず、様子を見て何日目のタイミングで行こうかは検討、、、
旅行最終日に晴れをかけて念願の幻の島と、シュノーケル、自然を体験できるカヌーの1日ツアーを予約！
元気なお兄さんが担当してくださり、鍛え上げられた体をみてとても心強かったです笑
そして、お兄さんがその日たまたま最後の出勤日だったらしく、私達も思いっきり楽しまなければ！と気合いがでました！笑
カヌーは、石垣島内のエリアで行われましたが、海のエリアと場所が少し変わるだけでこんなに変わるのかってくらいアドベンチャーって感じのマングローブといっぱいの自然が前面に広がってて冒険してる気分でした♪
幻の島に関しては、最近の中では珍しいくらい晴れたらしくとても日本とは思えないくらい透明でエメラルドグリーンな海で本当に感動です！

In June, I participated with my 6th-grade daughter and two adults. Although we couldn't go to the phantom island due to the sea conditions, we enjoyed mangrove SUP. Both instructors were kind and friendly, teaching us about the types of mangroves, how to distinguish them, and how they grow in an easy-to-understand manner, which was very interesting. They took us to mangrove tunnels and cave-like areas, adding a sense of adventure, and both my daughter and we adults had a great time. They took many photos and sent them to us on the same day, creating unforgettable memories.

Additionally, the instructors provided us with recommendations for beaches and restaurants, making our trip to Ishigaki even more enjoyable. I am filled with gratitude.

In this tour, you can choose between kayaking and SUP, but I think SUP is more enjoyable for active people since you can stand or sit and have various ways to enjoy it! I highly recommend participating in the tour.

６月に小学6年生の娘と大人2名で参加させていただきました。
海の影響で幻の島へは行けなかったのですが、マングローブSUPを楽しませていただきました。
インストラクターの方は2人とも優しく親切で、マングローブの種類や見分け方、増え方などを分かりやすく教えて下さり、とても興味深かったです。マングローブのトンネルや洞窟の様なところに連れて行ってもらい、アドベンチャー感もあり、娘はもちろん、私たち大人も楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
写真もたくさん撮っていただき、その日のうちに送っていただき、忘れられない思い出になりました。
さらに、インストラクターの方にはおすすめのビーチやレストランの情報をいただき、石垣の旅がより楽しいものになりました。感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

このツアーでは、カヤックとSUPを選べるのですが、SUPの方が、立ったり座ったりといろいろな楽しみ方ができるので、アクティブ派の方はより楽しめると思います！！

I participated with my wife in early June. In the morning, we did stand-up paddleboarding at Kabira Bay, and in the afternoon, we had a snorkeling tour at the Blue Cave.

It was right in the middle of the rainy season, and the weather wasn't great; there was thunder and it was quite rough, so we couldn't start at the scheduled time. However, we were taken to a Shisa farm while waiting for the thunder to subside, which kept us entertained. Miraculously, the weather improved, and we were able to enjoy paddleboarding! I felt that if it had been sunny, it would have been incredibly beautiful. Even in the rain, I was glad to enjoy the changes in the color of the water.

For lunch, we had a meal at Ishigaki Port Terminal, so I think it's necessary to have some change of clothes. The hamburger place they introduced us to was amazing, and I was really impressed.

In the afternoon, we went on the Blue Cave tour. The instructions were very thorough, but those who have participated in similar activities multiple times might find it a bit lacking. The snorkeling itself was a bit murky due to the heavy rain in the morning, but we were able to enjoy it.

The Blue Cave was beautiful, but I had expected something even more spectacular, so it was a bit disappointing, haha. Overall, we had a really fun time. Thank you!

6月上旬に妻と2人で参加しました。午前中に川平湾でのsup、午後から青の洞窟シュノーケルツアーでした。
ちょうど梅雨の真っ只中で天候があまり良くなく、朝から雷がなっている大荒れだったので予定時刻から始められず、雷がおさまるまでの間シーサー農園などに連れて行ってもらえて暇を持て余すことなく過ごすことができました。奇跡的に天候が回復してsupをたのしむこともできました！ただ晴れてたらめちゃめちゃ綺麗だったんだろうなという感じでした。雨の中でも、水の色の変化などは楽しめてよかったです。
お昼は石垣港ターミナルで昼食になるのである程度の着替えが必要かと思います。紹介していただいたハンバーガー屋さんが激うまで感動でした。
午後からは青の洞窟ツアーでした。かなり丁寧に教えていただいたのですが、何度もアクティビティに参加されてる方には少し物足りなく感じるかもしれません。シュノーケル自体は午前中の豪雨もあり少し水が濁ってましたが、楽しむことが出来ました。
青の洞窟は綺麗でしたが、なんかもっとすごいのを期待しちゃってたので少し期待はずれでした笑
全体的にすごく楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました！

My first time in Ishigaki was SUP.
It was so much fun, and I was able to create truly wonderful memories!
I thought it would be difficult to do activities this time due to the rain and wind, but on the last day, we were able to go to Kabira Bay when it was sunny.
The sea was crystal clear, and doing SUP surrounded by nature was incredibly enjoyable. The breeze felt so nice! There were also fish!

The atmosphere of Ishigaki, the food, and above all, the beautiful sea and nature were truly amazing, making it a fantastic trip.

I am a fourth grader. I participated with my mother.
First, we took part in canoeing. When we landed on a deserted island, I found a shell, and the conductor told me that it was edible, so I looked it up and found out it was a clam.

Next, we went snorkeling.
To my surprise, I saw a sea turtle and was able to touch a sea cucumber.
It was a lot of fun. I want to participate again.

僕は4年生です。お母さんと参加しました。
まずカヌーに参加しました。カヌーで無人島に上陸した時に貝を見つけた時にコンダクターの人にそれは食べれるよと教えてもらったので調べたらアサリということがわかりました。


次にシュノーケリングをしました。
なんとウミガメが見れてしかもナマコを触ることができました。
とても楽しかったです。
また参加したいです。

I participated in a morning snorkeling tour at the Blue Cave and an afternoon SUP tour at Kabira Bay.

First of all, the guides were all cheerful and kept the conversation lively, making the atmosphere fantastic throughout the trip. They skillfully engaged the few groups of strangers, sparking discussions and expanding conversations. They shared interesting information about Ishigaki Island's tourist spots, recommended dining places, and even some trivia about the many residents who have moved there, making the time fly by.

Regarding the tours, the snorkeling at the Blue Cave was overwhelmingly stunning, making me realize just how beautiful snorkeling spots can be in Japan. The feeling of swimming alongside coral reefs and fish is something I can confidently say you can only experience here. Lucky participants might even encounter sea turtles.

The SUP at Kabira Bay offers a refreshing experience that is distinctly different from SUP activities in the Kanto area. The clear sea, shining sun, emerald green scenery, and open climate all score a perfect 100. If you're looking to chill, this is the best place to be.

I will definitely come back!

宿にお迎えからの、AM青の洞窟シュノーケリング、PM川平湾のSUPツアーに参加。

まずガイドのお兄さんたちがみなさん陽気で、移動もツアー中も飽きさせないくらい会話を弾ませてくれて、雰囲気が最高でした。

参加した2,3組の初対面の人たちをうまく巻き込み、話を振り、会話を広げる話術はさることながら、石垣島の観光名所やオススメの食事処、実は移住民が多いというプチトリビアまでタメになる話ばかりで時間をあっという間に感じさせてくれました。

本題のツアーに関しては、
青の洞窟シュノーケリングは、日本にここまで綺麗なシュノーケルスポットがあるのか、という圧倒的な驚きをまず実感します。珊瑚礁を間近に、魚たちと一緒に泳ぐ開放感、ここでしか味わえないと断言します。運の良い方はウミガメにも出会えることでしょう。

川平湾SUPは、SUPとは川平湾でやる行為だという事実を突きつけられるほど、関東近郊で行うSUPとは格別に異なる爽快感です。
透明感ある海、光り輝く太陽、エメラルドグリーンの景色、そして開放的な気候、全てが100点満点で、チルしたいならココが1番です。

また必ずいきます！

Due to the weather, we changed our snorkeling plans to Osaki Beach in the afternoon, but it was a beautiful beach with lots of colorful fish, and we even saw a sea turtle!
I was nervous since it was my first time trying SUP, but I was able to enjoy it with everyone who participated.
During the drive from the meeting point to the location, the staff shared a lot of information about Ishigaki Island, which was really helpful for our trip!
I'm really glad I participated.

天候の関係で午後は大崎海岸でのシュノーケリングに変更になりましたが、とても素敵な海岸でキレイな魚が沢山いて、ウミガメにも会えました！

The instructor is kind and explains everything in detail, so I think even beginners can participate with confidence. They also send photos on the same day, which I believe will help create wonderful memories. If you go to Ishigaki Island, I think visiting the Blue Cave and snorkeling is a must, even for those who dive. I highly recommend it.

インストラクターの人が親切で丁寧に説明してくれてフォローしてくれますので、初心者の人でも安心して参加出来ると思います。写真も当日に送ってくれますので、楽しい思い出作りが出来ると思います。石垣島に行ったなら青の洞窟とシュノーケリングはダイビングをする人でも行っといた方がいいと思います。オススメです。

I used this service on the last day of my stay in Ishigaki Island. It was my first experience with stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but they provided a lecture on land, so I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. The sea was incredibly clear, and when the sunlight shone through, it was beautiful no matter where I looked.

I had requested a shuttle, but since I had already checked out of the hotel, they took me to a shower room near the bus terminal. As a result, I was able to board my evening flight feeling refreshed. I was so happy to enjoy the sea until the very last day. Thank you for all the wonderful photos!

石垣島滞在の最終日に利用しました。
私はSUP初体験だったのですが、陸でレクチャーもしてくださるので、安心して体験することができました。
海は言わずもがな透明度が高く、光が差した時はどこをみてもとても綺麗でした。

送迎をお願いしていたのですが、ホテルはすでにチェックアウトしていたため、バスターミナル近くのシャワー室に送ってくださりました。
そのため、スッキリした状態で夕方の便に乗れました。
最終日まで海を堪能できて嬉しかったです。

I had an amazing time! First, we landed on the phantom island, and since it was cloudy, it was really cold. It was fine while we were in the water, but getting back on the boat was freezing. However, the sea was incredibly beautiful. Snorkeling was great too; I got to see some fish. After that, during our lunch break, we could choose between the ferry terminal or a shower for our transfer, and I chose the shower. Since it was cold, I took a warm shower before heading back. After that, I changed into clothes that could get wet (it's better to wear clothes that can get dirty), had lunch, and then went for mangrove stand-up paddleboarding. Since we were carrying the paddleboards, it seemed better for anyone not in a swimsuit to wear dirty clothes. It was my first time paddleboarding, and it was fun. Since it was low tide, we could even go under the mangrove trees, which was a unique experience. Thank you for a long time in the cold!

めっちゃ楽しかったです！まず、幻の島に上陸で曇っていたこともあり、めっちゃ寒かったです。
海に入ってるときは大丈夫だったのですが、上がってから船での移動が極寒でした。けど、海はめっちゃ綺麗でした。シュノーケリングもお魚見れてよかったです。そのあと、昼休憩でフェリーターミナルかシャワーの所か送迎を選べてシャワーを選びました。寒かったので、暖かいシャワーを浴びて行き返りました。そのあと、濡れていい服装(汚れていい服装の方がいいです)に着替えて、昼ごはん食べてマングローブのサップに行きました。サップなどを運んだらするので、水着以外着る人は汚れた服装の方が良さそうです。サップは初めてだったのですが、
楽しかったです。干潮だったので、マングローブの木の下にも行けて、中々できない体験でした。
長い時間、寒い中ありがとうございました！

I was worried about whether I could enjoy my first stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) session due to the cloudy weather, but it was really fun! There was a brief lecture, and then we headed straight to the sea. Despite the clouds and occasional rain, I started off sitting down and then switched to standing once I assessed the wind conditions. At first, I struggled to get the hang of it and wasn't making much progress, but once I got used to it, I found it enjoyable and was soothed by the clarity of the water. I deducted one star because the scenery would have been better if it had been sunny, but I definitely recommend the tour! Also, the photos from the guide and the information about the shop were great! ⭐︎

天候が曇りで楽しめるか不安でしたが、初SUPはとても楽しかったです。簡単なレクチャーがあり、早速海へ。曇り&通り雨もある中、最初は座って、風の状況をみて立ち漕ぎにチェンジ。最初コツが掴めず、なかなか前に進まずでしたが、慣れると楽しく海の透明度に癒されました。晴れてたら景色もよかっただろうなという点で星マイナス1ですが、ツアー自体はお勧めです！また、ガイドさんからの写真やお店の情報もgoodでした⭐︎

It was both of our first time on a SUP, but we were able to get on easily. The instructors were all very kind, and it was a lot of fun. The temperature was surprisingly warm for the end of February, so it felt great to jump into the sea. Both the ocean and the scenery were very beautiful, and it became a wonderful memory. We were able to participate without carrying any luggage, as they took many photos for us. Regarding transportation, they picked us up close by and also dropped us off on the way back. Due to the weather, we changed from the originally planned SUP at Kawahira Bay to mangrove SUP, but I was able to participate and have fun. During the drive to and from the location, we had enjoyable conversations about the scenery along the way and the history of the island, which were very interesting. It was my first time doing SUP, but they taught me carefully, and I was able to maneuver it right away. Paddling while standing felt great, and the discussions about the mangroves and the flora and fauna of the stone walls on both sides of the river were enjoyable. Although it went by quickly, I had a wonderful time. Thank you for the lovely experience. I highly recommend it to anyone considering it!

天候の影響で当初の川平湾からマングローブでのSUPに変更になりましたが楽しく参加できました。
行き帰りの車の中でも道中の景色の話や島の歴史なども楽しくお話ししていただき、とても興味深かったです。
SUPも初めてでしたが丁寧に教えていただき、すぐに操ることが出来ました。立って漕ぐととても気持ち良くて、川の両岸のマングローブや石垣の動植物の話も楽しく、あっという間でしたが素晴らしい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。素敵な体験を心ありがとうございます。検討中の方もぜひぜひお勧めです！

I checked the weather forecast and thought it might be a good idea, so I quickly booked a kayak tour.

Even though it was January, we were blessed with sunny weather and a temperature of 25°C, making it a pleasant experience to paddle the kayak.

Kabira Bay is not just for looking; you have to immerse yourself in the sea! (laughs)

The staff were friendly, and it turned out to be a happy holiday.

1月とはいえ気温25℃の晴天に恵まれ、気持ちよくカヤックを漕ぐことができました。

川平湾は、見るだけじゃなくて海に浸かってなんぼです！笑

スタッフのお兄さんもフレンドリーで、ハッピーな休日になりました。

I was nervous at first about doing SUP for the first time, but the guide taught us carefully, so even kids who aren't good at sports managed to do it somehow. It was warm even in January, so wearing just a swimsuit, an Airism parka, shorts, and leggings was just right. My child fell off the board and got soaked, but it seems like the water wasn't cold, so they enjoyed it (^ - ^). Kabira Bay was really beautiful and amazing! I want to experience SUP in Ishigaki Island again.

初SUPでうまくできるか最初は緊張しましたが、ガイドさんが丁寧に教えてくれたので、運動が苦手な子供でもなんとかできました。
1月でも暖かかったので、水着にエアリズムパーカーにショートパンツ、レギンスを履いただけでちょうどよかったです。子供はボードから落ちてずぶ濡れになってしまったけれど、水も冷たくなかったので気持ちよかったみたいです(^-^)

We participated in stand-up paddleboarding at Kabira Bay with our family. Initially, we were suggested to switch from paddleboarding to canoeing due to strong winds on the reserved day, but since we wanted to try paddleboarding, we changed the date. Thank you for being flexible with us.

On the day of the activity, we were picked up at the parking lot and transported to Kabira Bay. After that, we received a lecture on how to paddle, and we paddled towards the sandy beach on the opposite shore. Although we were beginners, we were able to grasp the techniques while receiving advice and actually paddling.

After arriving at the opposite shore, we took a short break on the sandy beach before heading back to the original sandy beach. There were almost no waves, and paddleboarding felt very pleasant! I'm glad we were able to experience paddleboarding.

川平湾サップに家族で参加しました。
当初予約日に風が強いためサップからカヌーへの変更を提案されましたが、サップをやってみたかったため日にちを変更して頂きました。柔軟に対応していただきありがとうございます。
当日駐車場まで迎えに来てもらって川平湾まで移動します。
その後サップの漕ぎ方をレクチャー頂き、対岸の砂浜目指して漕いで行きます。初心者でしたがアドバイスをもらいつつ実際に漕ぎながらコツを掴めました。
対岸に到着した後は砂浜で少し休み、元の砂浜に戻っていきます。波もほぼなくてサップはとても気持ちよかったです！サップ体験ができて良かったです。

We participated in a SUP tour at Kabira Bay with a group of six friends and family. We took our time in the hotel in the morning and departed at 1:00 PM. Two guides came to pick us up at the hotel. On the way to Kabira Bay, they shared various information about Ishigaki's nature, including the ecology of the crested serpent eagle and wild peacocks, and before we knew it, we arrived.

They provided all the necessary gear, including life jackets and shoes, so we only needed to bring drinks and towels. Once we were ready, the tour began. Thanks to the thorough instructions from our guide, Shinobu, even beginners had a great time in the beautiful Kabira Bay. Although it was a winter SUP tour, we were blessed with good weather, and the temperature was just right for enjoying the sea—absolutely perfect!

During the tour, they took plenty of photos for us and sent them later, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend this tour!

川平湾でのSUPツアー、友人家族と6人で参加しました。朝はゆっくりホテルで過ごしてからの13:00出発。ガイドの方2名でホテルまで迎えに来ていただきました。川平湾に着くまでは石垣の自然について、カンムリワシの生態や野生のクジャクの事など色々話して頂き、あっという間に到着。
ライジャケやシューズは全部準備頂き、我々は飲み物とタオルのみ。準備整えて、ツアー開始。
ガイドのシノブさんの丁寧なインストラクションで初心者も、綺麗な川平湾でとても楽しく過ごせました。冬のSUPツアーでしたが、天気にも恵まれ、海に入っても気持ち良いくらいの気温で最高！
ツアー中は写真もいっぱい撮って頂き、後から送ってくださり、ありがとうございます。

I was a bit anxious since it was my first time SUP, but I never expected to have such a fulfilling experience in such a short tour! The two instructors were very friendly, and their explanations were thorough and easy to understand. They also really connected with the participants, creating a wonderful atmosphere. They took many beautiful photos, which helped create great memories. I think even beginners can participate with confidence. If you want to enjoy the sea and leisure activities in Ishigaki Island, I highly recommend it!

I went to Ishigaki Island for Christmas. I wanted to do stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling, but due to strong winds, we switched to canoeing on the Miyara River.

The tour guide was kind and shared many attractions of Ishigaki Island! I originally planned to rent a wetsuit, so I didn't bring clothes that could get wet from Tokyo, but I bought a raincoat for about 100 yen on-site. The canoe's seat has holes, so your bottom will definitely get wet! However, thanks to the raincoat, I stayed completely dry! There are splashes while paddling, so placing a towel under my knees solved the problem!

By the way, everyone else was dressed in rash guards and shorts.

They take photos for you, but I recommend bringing your own phone as well. There's a risk of dropping it, and since the Miyara River is murky, it's better to keep your phone on your shoulder! If you lose it, it might be hard to find...

By the way, participating in the summer is said to be terrible due to the smell from cow dung flowing in and the extreme heat...

クリスマスに石垣島へ
サップとシュノーケルをしたかったのですが、強風のため宮良川で出来るカヌーへ変更

添乗員さんは優しく、石垣島の魅力を沢山教えてくださいました！
元々はウエットスーツをレンタルする予定だったので、濡れても良い服を東京から持って行かなかったのですが、現地で100円ぐらいのレインコートを買って参戦。
カヌーの座面は穴が空いてるので、お尻は必ず濡れるんですね！でも、レインコートのおかげで全く濡れず！漕いでる時の水飛沫があるので、膝下にタオルを置けば問題無し！

ちなみにわ皆さんはラッシュガードの上下と短パンの様な服装でした。

写真を撮って下さいますが、ご自身でも携帯を持っていくことをお勧めします。
落ちる危険性があるのと、宮良川は底が見えない川なので、携帯は肩にかけたほうが良いです！
紛失したら見当たらなさそう、、。


ちなみに夏の参加は、牛のフンが流れるため悪臭が漂い、とんでもなく暑いそうです、、

I was worried about the weather in Okinawa during winter, but fortunately, I was able to enjoy stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling in calm waters. The SUP experience while gazing at the vibrant gradient of the sea illuminated by the sunlight was truly beautiful. Additionally, during snorkeling, fish came so close that I could almost reach them, and I was able to spot a sea turtle on the ocean floor, making for a wonderful time.

冬の沖縄ということで天気が心配でしたが、運良く穏やかな海でSUPとシュノーケルができました。太陽の光で色鮮やかな海のグラデーションを眺めながらのSUPは、とてもキレイでした。また、シュノーケルでは手が届きそうなほど近くまで魚が寄ってきたり、海底にウミガメを見かけることができ、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

Canoeing and snorkeling were both amazing. Especially since my first snorkeling experience was on a winter rainy day with kids, I felt nervous about getting into the water, but once I put my head under, I couldn't stop laughing. It was incredibly fun and became a cherished memory. The guide was especially kind, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the ocean, which made it the best experience.

カヌーもシュノーケリングも最高でした。
特に初シュノーケリングが子供連れの冬の雨の日だったので緊張で海に入るのも迷った感じでしたが、海に頭を入れてからすぐ笑いが止まらない状態になったです。すごい楽しく大事な思い出となりました。特にガイドの先生は優しくて専門的で本当に海が好きな方で最高でした。

This was my fourth time in Ishigaki Island, but it was my first time participating in a tour. I was really looking forward to going to the Blue Cave, so it was disappointing that we couldn't go, but instead, we were taken snorkeling at the beautiful beach of Kabira Bay. My wife, who is not comfortable putting her face in the water, received great support, allowing us to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind. I was very moved to see so many beautiful fish. In the afternoon, we experienced SUP, and the wide ocean felt wonderful, allowing us to spend a relaxing time. The transportation was on time, and they shared many stories about the island during the ride. They took many photos during the tour and even gifted us the data, making it a very satisfying experience. I will definitely use this service again when I come back to Ishigaki Island. Thank you very much.

4回目の石垣島でしたが、ツアーに参加したのは初めてでした。今回とても楽しみにしいた青の洞窟に行かれなかったのが残念でしたが、その代わりに川平湾の綺麗なビーチでシュノーケリングに連れていっていただきました。夫婦で参加でしたが、水に顔をつけるのが苦手な妻をしっかりサポートしていただき安心してシュノーケリングができました。綺麗なお魚をたくさん見る事ができてとても感動しました。午後はSUPを体験し、広い海が気持ち良く、ゆったりとした時間を過ごさせていただきました。送迎も時間どおりで、移動中もたくさん島のお話しをしてくださいました。ツアー中にお写真を沢山撮っていただきデータもプレゼントして下さり大満足のツアーでした。また石垣島に来た際は利用させていただきます。ありがとうございました。

To be honest, I was scared to snorkel because I couldn't swim, but with encouragement from the guide and my friends, I managed to push through (laughs). Although I was worried about my stamina, I somehow kept up, and after a while, I was able to enjoy the underwater scenery and got absorbed in the beautiful ocean views. Miraculously, I even got to see a sea turtle, and although the weather was cloudy and a bit iffy, I had a great time! I was really healed by the beautiful sea and fish, and I'm glad I had this experience! The guide, a young man and woman, were also kind and took a lot of photos for us, for which I am grateful ❤️.

In the afternoon, we had a SUP course. They mentioned that it might be a bit tough to paddle because of the strong winds, but then the clouds cleared up, and I was really impressed to see a rainbow overhead. I felt so connected to the sky and the horizon, and it was incredibly soothing (^0_0^).

I’m really glad I got to experience the beautiful sea and fish! The guide and his partner were also very kind (I fell off the board a few times, and they helped pull me back up, haha), and I’m grateful for all the photos they took! ❤️

Initially, I had booked a SUP tour at Kabira Bay, but due to strong winds, it was changed to a mangrove SUP at Miyara River. Although it was a last-minute change, I was able to enjoy a close-up view of the mangroves, which was a great experience. Depending on the weather, it seems that you can also see rare birds and aquatic creatures!

It was mid-November, but the temperature was around 25 degrees, making it very pleasant for SUP, and I had no issues doing it in short sleeves and shorts. It started to rain partway through, and I got completely soaked, so wearing clothes that you don't mind getting wet is essential! Other than clothes that can get wet, there was nothing else you needed to prepare, making it a tour that beginners can enjoy with peace of mind.

During the tour, the guide took a lot of photos with a GoPro, so I was able to keep fun memories captured in pictures. Thank you very much!

当初、川平湾でのSUPツアーを予約しておりましたが、強風のため宮良川マングローブSUPへ変更になりました。急遽の変更でしたが、間近でマングローブを眺めることができて、いい経験ができました。天気によるようですが、珍しい鳥や水辺の生き物などを見ることができることもあるようです！
11月中旬でしたが、気温は25度くらいでとても気持ち良くSUPができ、半袖短パンでのSUPも全く問題なしでした。途中から雨降ってきてしまい、全身ずぶ濡れになったので、濡れても良い格好は必須です！濡れてもいい服装以外、特に何も用意する必要もなく、初心者でも安心して楽しめるツアーでした。
ツアー中にはガイドさんがGoProでたくさん写真を撮ってくださるので、楽しい思い出の写真を残すことができました。ありがとうございました！

The snorkeling at the Blue Cave was not possible, so we changed to the coast at Ohsaki. The weather was bad, and I didn't have high expectations, but it was incredibly beautiful. I've seen quite a few places, but this was among the top in terms of beauty, and I was very impressed.

However, during the mangrove tour at Miyara River, the guide kept calling out "Mom! Mom!" I was participating with colleagues from work, and I am not a mother. I had filled out my name and emergency contact information at the beginning, but if they don't check that, what's the point of filling it out? In today's world, there are many different types of couples and families, so I think it's wrong to assume relationships based solely on age differences. This is a basic principle of customer service.

If it were just the snorkeling, I would have been completely satisfied and would give it five stars. Thank you for going out of your way to drop us off at the hotel. However, because the mangrove tour was included, I lowered my rating due to the above issues.

シュノーケルは青の洞窟は出来なくて大崎という海岸に変更。天気悪くあまり期待してなかったのですが、とにかく無茶苦茶綺麗。結構色々みてきましたが、一二を争う綺麗さで大感激でした。
ただ、宮良川のマングローブツアーですが、ガイドの方が「お母さんお母さん！」って。会社の同僚と参加しており私はそもそもお母さんではなく。最初に名前書いたり緊急連絡先住所などの記入をしたのですが、確認しないなら書く必要性が、なんのための記入なんでしょうか、、、。今のご時世、歳の差カップル夫婦など色々な方がいるかとおもいますので年齢差だけで関係性を決めつけるのはダメだと思います。これは、接客の基本だと思います。
シュノーケルだけなら大満足で星は5つ。ホテルまで無理言って送っていただきましてありがとうございました。
マングローブツアーとのセットなので上記の事情により評価下げました。

My first experience with stand-up paddleboarding was wonderful. On the day of the activity, the weather was perfect with hardly any wind, and our guide was very attentive and made it fun, allowing even beginners to easily enjoy the activity.

The scenery of Kabira Bay was simply stunning, and I was truly glad to have the experience of standing on the board and gliding over the crystal-clear water! Even days later, I still think back on it.

Additionally, even if you don't fall into the sea during the activity, your clothes will definitely get wet, so the service of being transported back to the hotel by car was very much appreciated. The guide also shared interesting information about Ishigaki Island during the ride, so it was never boring.

The photos taken during the activity were provided on the same day. I am truly grateful to the guide for the wonderful time I had.

サップは初めての体験でしたが、当日は天候に恵まれ風はほとんどなく、ガイドさんがとても丁寧に、そして楽しくフォローしてくださいましたので、初心者でも簡単にアクティビティを楽しむことができました。

川平湾の景色は素晴らしいの一言で、透き通った水面をボードの上に立って進んでいく時間は本当に体験できてよかったです！数日経つ今でも思い返しています。

また、アクティビティ中に海に落ちなくても絶対に衣服は濡れますので、宿泊しているホテルに車で送迎していただけるサービスはとてもありがたかったです。道中もガイドさんが楽しく石垣島の紹介をしてくれますので、まったく退屈しません。
