I received a notification the day before that the sea conditions were not good, so we switched to the mangrove canoeing. The staff and the other participants were all cheerful people, and it was fun paddling through the mangroves. I don't know when I'll be able to go to Ishigaki again, but I plan to request the Kawahira Bay canoeing again.

Every year, I have my summer vacation in Ishigaki Island. Until now, I participated in island-hopping tours, but since I've been to all the islands, I joined a tour for the Blue Cave and snorkeling that I had been curious about. The guide taught us a lot about Ishigaki Island, so I was very satisfied! Due to strong winds, we ended up doing a canoe experience instead of stand-up paddleboarding, but it turned out to be better since we could go further out into the deep sea. Overall, being able to go into such a beautiful ocean became the best memory. I will definitely go again!

The waves were high and a bit murky due to the season, but the tour staff were all energetic and cheerful, making it a lot of fun! There were many people on the tour, but it was great that they kept us in smaller groups as much as possible. It was reassuring for children and those who are not good at swimming to be well taken care of! The time spent on the phantom island was not short and was just the right amount. However, some people did experience seasickness, and the back of the boat did not have a roof, so for those who need it, motion sickness medication, sun protection, and hats are essential!
波が高く季節的に少し濁ってはいましたが、ツアーのスタッフ達がみんな元気で明るく、たくさん楽しませて下さいました！ツアー自体は一緒に行く人が沢山いたのですが、なるべく少人数グループにしてくださったのもよかったです。子供や泳ぎが苦手な方でもきちんと見てもらえて安心です！幻の島の滞在時間も短くなく丁度いい時間でした。ただ船酔いしてる方もいらっしゃったのと、船の後ろの方は屋根がついていないタイプだったので、必要な方は酔い止め、日除けや帽子必須です！

The tour was the best course to fully enjoy the summer in Ishigaki Island, including the phantom island and Taketomi Island sightseeing. The instructor was kind and took lots of photos and videos. The freedom to explore Taketomi Island at your own pace was also a big plus! It was definitely a tour that makes you want to visit Ishigaki Island again!

The canoe experience in the mangroves was more enjoyable than I had imagined. The unique ecosystem of plants and animals on Ishigaki Island felt like it was not in Japan at all! The weather was nice, and we were able to take our time, resting in the shade along the way, with a pleasant breeze. Our guide was cheerful and full of energy, taking lots of photos, which made for great memories! On the way back, we talked about recommended restaurants on Ishigaki Island. I discovered a tour that combines stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the mangroves and snorkeling at the power spot, the Blue Cave, during my first trip to Ishigaki Island, not knowing anything about the area.
I quickly signed up, and although there was a slight mistake with the time in the reservation confirmation, the application was completed without any major issues.
On the day of the tour, we gathered in front of the hotel at 5:45 AM, which meant an extremely early wake-up call. However, since it was a sunrise tour, I enjoyed waking up early, hurriedly got ready, and headed out.
The SUP in the mangroves was enveloped in the morning's tranquility, with no artificial sounds at all, allowing us to leisurely float down the river while enjoying the sounds of nature.
It was truly a wonderful morning activity.
After a brief break, we moved on to the snorkeling tour. They picked us up in front of the hotel and transported us to the snorkeling spot, where we waded into the sea up to our chests to reach the Blue Cave.
The entrance to the cave was a jump dive spot, and with a shout, we made a splash.
After touching the natural amethyst in the Blue Cave and praying for an increase in fortune, we finally went snorkeling.

青の洞窟で天然の紫水晶に触れ、金運上昇を祈願したあとは、いよいよシュノーケリング
色とりどりの魚や海蛇にも遭遇し天然の水族館を楽しみました。
ガイドさんは移動中たくさん話を聞かせてくれてとても勉強になりました。
半日モリモリで午後もタップリ時間が使えるのでお得なツアーだと思います。

This tour was supposed to include snorkeling at the Phantom Island and SUP at Kabira Bay, but unfortunately, neither could be conducted due to strong winds. Instead, we changed to snorkeling at the Blue Cave and mangrove SUP, both of which were very fulfilling! During the journey to the locations, the staff shared various stories about Ishigaki Island, making it enjoyable all day long. The reservation process was very smooth, and the price was reasonable, so I would like to use this service again when I come back to Ishigaki Island! Thank you!

There were some who had just undergone surgery and others who needed extra assistance, so I apologize for the trouble, but I was able to participate very enjoyably and comfortably. During the snorkeling in the afternoon, I saw a lot of fish. However, I got so caught up in watching the fish that I didn't really feel the blueness of the Blue Cave, and it turned into more of a cave exploration, which was a bit disappointing. I had a great time kayaking for the first time! They announced the areas to avoid, like rocky spots, and I finished the kayaking safely. They kindly provided recommendations for sightseeing spots and were very accommodating beyond just their duties. Although it rained a bit during the kayaking, they remained cheerful regardless of the weather. The photos they provided were beautiful, and there were enough of them that I didn't even need to bring my own smartphone! My wife and I participated together, and there were a total of 8 people on the tour. After about a 30-minute drive, we arrived, and the guide distributed life jackets, fins, shoes, and other equipment to everyone. The Blue Cave was very beautiful, and the seawater was extremely clear. The guide first encouraged everyone to jump in the Blue Cave (my wife couldn't jump because she was scared). I booked a one-day tour for SUP and snorkeling. They provided transportation to and from the hotel, and the staff kept the bus rides lively, so I never felt bored!

SUPとシュノーケリングの1日ツアーを予約させていただきました。
ホテルまでの送迎もしてくださり、行き帰りのバスもスタッフさんたちが盛り上げてくださり、退屈することがなかったです！！
SUPは初めての体験でしたが、その日の波の様子や参加者のコンディションにあわせて教えてくださり、失敗しても全員で笑えるような空気感がすごく楽しかったです。
お昼、夜ご飯のおすすめのお店や、島にいる生き物のことなども教えていただき、島にいる間とても有意義に過ごせました。
シュノーケリングも海の中が透き通って見えて、感動しました！
なによりインストラクターさんが優しく楽しく教えてくださったので、とても良い思い出になりました！

The weather was great, and the sea was very beautiful. The guides, Sebastian and Yamamoto, were very attentive, which made me feel secure participating in the tour. Additionally, they provided explanations on how to use the snorkeling gear and about the marine life, which made me very satisfied. They also took photos from underwater, creating memories for a lifetime.
When I come back to Ishigaki Island, I would like to participate in other tours and join the snorkeling tour again! I hope to see a sea turtle next time, as I didn't get to see one this time! Thank you!!!

The journey from the hotel to the sea took about 30 minutes, during which we talked about various things related to Ishigaki Island while enjoying the scenery, and they also recommended some great restaurants... The time in the car was fun as well.

Due to strong winds, we switched from stand-up paddleboarding to kayaking, but we had a wonderful time enjoying the view of Kabira Bay! The instructor was friendly, and we were able to share a fun time with the other participants. We could take photos with our own cameras, but the instructor also took pictures for us, which was reassuring, and we received photo data that we couldn't have captured ourselves, making for great memories of our trip!
During snorkeling, we were able to see beautiful fish even before entering the water. The instructor shared names of the creatures and interesting facts with us. The underwater scenery was stunning, and we were very satisfied. The staff also took photos of us while we were underwater.
Although we couldn't do stand-up paddleboarding this time, I would love to participate again when I come back to Ishigaki Island. Thank you!
強風にてsupからカヤックへと変更になりましたが、川平湾の景色を一望できとても楽しい時間でした！インストラクターの方の感じも良く一緒に参加した方々とも楽しい時間を共有することができました(^^) 自分たちの手持ちのカメラで写真を撮ることもできましたが、インストラクターの方も撮ってくださるので安心ですし、自分たちでは撮ることのできない写真データを頂けて旅のいい記録になりました！
シュノーケリングでは海に入る前から綺麗な魚をみることができました。生き物の名前や豆知識を教えてくださいました。海の中はとても綺麗で大満足でした。こちらでは水中での様子をスタッフの方が写真に納めてくれます(^ ^)

I was relieved to receive a confirmation call despite making a reservation late the previous day. Additionally, the staff actively engaged with us during the car ride, making it enjoyable throughout.
On the day of the tour, it was unfortunate that snorkeling was canceled due to rough seas, but exploring the mangroves while learning about the trees and wildlife was a lot of fun! I also appreciated that they took photos during the tour and sent them to us as a keepsake.
They also offer refunds for the canceled activities, so I highly recommend this tour company.
遅い時間に前日予約をしたのにも関わらず、しっかりと電話確認が来て安心しました。
また、移動中の車内でも積極的に話しかけてくださり、終始楽しかったです。

It was truly amazing to experience both the sea and the river! It was incredibly fun. When you think of Okinawa, you think of the sea, but I also thoroughly enjoyed the river! The mangroves were absolutely beautiful and full of negative ions! I was able to recharge my energy!

As a conclusion to my 3-night, 4-day trip to Ishigaki Island and Taketomi Island, I participated in this activity. Since it was a no-plan trip, I made a last-minute reservation the night before, but I was able to communicate smoothly with the staff and join the tour in the morning!
I saw many plants and animals living in the mangroves, felt the great nature, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was especially lucky to see a rare migratory bird, which became a wonderful memory!
The morning plan lasts about 2 hours in total, so I was scheduled to return on an afternoon flight, but I made it to the airport just fine. Therefore, it's recommended for when you have a little free time!
I had a strong image of Ishigaki Island being all about the sea, but I was able to discover new attractions. Thank you very much!
3泊4日の石垣島・竹富島旅行の締めくくりとして参加させていただきました。
ノープラン旅であったため、前日夜に急遽予約させていただいたのですが、スタッフの方とスムーズに連絡取ることができ、朝から参加することができました！
マングローブの中に生きる動植物をたくさん見て、大自然を感じることができ、満喫させていただきました。
特に希少な渡り鳥も運良く見れ、いい思い出にならました！！
午前プランだと全体で2時間くらいになるので、
午後の便で帰る予定でしたが空港もばっちり間に合いました。

We experienced mangrove kayaking. We went as a pair. We were safely guided to avoid rocky areas, and we even saw some cute fiddler crabs along the way. It rained a bit during the trip, but since the weather in Ishigaki is often sunny, we had a great time. There were explanations about the creatures and plants, which were easy to understand. Unfortunately, the snorkeling was not blessed with good weather, but I look forward to it next time. I was scheduled to participate in a day tour to the Phantom Island and SUP, but due to strong winds, the Phantom Island tour was canceled, and the SUP was changed to a canoe for a half-day tour. However, paddling against the wind was quite a laborious task even in a canoe. When we couldn't make any progress, we had to pull the canoe through the water or the tour guide helped push the canoe, and we somehow reached our destination! After a short break, I thought it would be easy to return since the wind was against us, but we struggled to go in the direction we wanted and unexpectedly capsized the canoe, getting completely soaked. However, the sea was beautiful and the water was shallow, so it was no problem at all, and it turned out to be an incredibly memorable tour. I had a hard time keeping up with everyone, and I required quite a bit of assistance, but thanks to that, I was able to have a great time. Thank you!
幻の島とsupの1日ツアーに参加予定でしたが強風のため、幻の島は欠航でsupはカヌーに変更して半日のツアーに参加しました。
しかし強風のため、風上に向かって漕ぐのはカヌーでもなかなかの重労働。どうしても進めない時は海の中をカヌーを引っ張って歩いたり、ツアーのお姉さんがカヌーを押してくれたりして何とか目的の場所まで到達！しばしの休憩を経て、帰りは風が逆なので楽に戻れるかと思いきや、思う方向にはなかなか進めず、まさかのカヌーで横転し全身びしょ濡れに。でも、海はキレイだし水深は浅いので全く問題はなく、もの凄く思い出に残るツアーになりました。私はなかなかみんなの流れについて行く事が出来ず、ずいぶんとお世話をかけましたが、お陰様で楽しく過ごす事が出来ました。ありがとうございます！

On the final day of our 4-night, 5-day trip to Taketomi Island and Ishigaki Island, despite the weather forecast predicting rain from the morning, we decided to participate in a canoe tour at Kabira Bay, accepting the possibility of rain until our evening flight.
However, we were greeted with good weather and even glimpses of sunshine. The staff, Shin-chan and Gin-chan, arrived at the meeting point with smiles.
In addition to us, a family of four also joined, and perhaps because it was a small group, we received kind and thorough guidance, creating a warm, homey atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy canoeing.
At the canoeing location, we were almost the only ones there, and we spent a peaceful and wonderful time.
We also visited the hamburger shop that Shin-chan recommended, and it was very delicious.

Before the sun rises, they pick you up by car and take you to the starting point. This time, there were many clouds and strong winds, so unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunrise. However, our guide was persistent until the last moment and even took us on a mangrove tour at the end. The SUP itself is fun, and they guide you in a way that you can enjoy it regardless of the weather, so I highly recommend it. I thought I would only be able to take a few photos since we couldn't bring our belongings, but the guide took nearly 70 photos, and I was very satisfied afterward. On the way back, they drop you off at the hotel around 7 AM. I want to try again next time I come to Ishigaki to hopefully see the sunrise.
日が昇る前の暗い中、車で迎えにきてくれて、スタート地点まで連れて行ってくれます。
今回は雲が多く風も強かったので、残念ながら日の出を見ることはできなかったです。
ただ、ガイドさんがギリギリまで粘ってくれた上に、最後の時間にマングローブ側のツアーをしてくれました。SUP自体も楽しいですし、天候に関わらず楽しめるように案内してくれるのでおすすめです。
手荷物が持っていけないので写真は数枚かなと思っていたらガイドさんが70枚近く撮ってくれて、終わった後も大満足でした。
帰りは7時くらいにホテルまで送ってもらえます。
また石垣来た時はサンライズが見られるようにまた挑戦したいです。

It was my first trip to Ishigaki Island.
Although it was during the rainy season, we were blessed with great weather, making for the best snorkeling experience.
Initially, I had booked a tour that included a morning visit to the Phantom Island and an afternoon at Taketomi, but due to the tides, the schedule was changed to Taketomi in the morning and Phantom Island in the afternoon.
Since the ferry times to Taketomi Island were fixed, we felt a bit rushed while exploring the island.
The snorkeling allowed us to see many tropical fish, and the staff even filmed underwater videos for us.
Phantom Island was truly beautiful, and I was amazed by it. It’s no wonder it’s used for commercial filming.
The staff were very friendly and flexible with the itinerary to ensure we had the best experience, allowing us to have a very enjoyable time.

梅雨期でしたが、お天気に恵まれて最高のシュノーケリングになりました。
当初、午前に幻の島・午後に竹富の予定のツアーで申込していましたが、潮の関係で午前竹富・午後幻の島に変更になりました。
竹富島へは往復のフェリーの時間が決まってしまったので、島内は少しバタバタと見てまわった感じでした。
シュノーケリングはたくさんの熱帯魚が見れたし、スタッフさんが水中のビデオも撮ってくれていました。
幻の島は本当にキレイでびっくりしました。CM撮影等に使用されるというのも納得でした。
スタッフさん達はとてもフレンドリーで、ベストな体験が出来るよう、行程も臨機応変の対応して頂いて、とても楽しい時間が過ごせました。

First, for those who are unsure about participating in this tour, I want to emphasize that it is the only tour where you can fully enjoy the top-notch activities of Ishigaki Island by coming, seeing, and experiencing them. We were concerned about the weather, so we made a last-minute reservation the day before.
On the day of the tour, due to the unpredictable weather, we switched to a canoe experience, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. The water was a beautiful color, almost transparent, and as we paddled, we were greeted by rare animals, making it hard to contain our excitement as time flew by.
The staff member who guided us shared many interesting stories about the island along the way, creating a friendly atmosphere that made us laugh a lot.
The sea was calm, and whenever the current picked up, the staff quickly provided support with the boat, so we never felt anxious. They also made sure to give us adequate breaks to avoid exhausting ourselves, and we enjoyed talking while learning about the island's unique features when we were on land.
When taking photos, they were considerate about not showing our faces, which made us feel at ease during the tour.
They provided marine shoes and life jackets, and even prepared water for us to wash off the sand before leaving, making this tour highly recommended for those considering a last-minute participation.
On our way back, we enjoyed the recommended restaurants and local fruits suggested by the staff, which made for a fulfilling day both physically and mentally.
This was my first visit to Ishigaki Island, and I am incredibly excited to have experienced such a special feeling of receiving energy from nature in the midst of a World Heritage site.

まずこのツアーに参加するか迷ってる方にお伝えしたい事は、来て・見て・体感する石垣島の最高級のアクティビティを堪能できる唯一のツアーであるという事です。私たちは天候の心配もあったので前日に飛び込み予約をさせていただきました。
当日は天候不順もありカヌー体験に変更されましたがこれがまた素晴らしい経験をさせてくれました。
カラッと晴れた空に透けて下が見えそうな水の色、漕いでる途中には珍しい動物達に迎えられ興奮した気持ちが抑えられぬまま時間が過ぎて行きました。
ガイドを務めてくださったスタッフさんは道中も含め島の面白い話をたくさんして下さり、和やかな雰囲気も楽しみつつ沢山笑ってしまいました。
海の流れも穏やかで時折波が早く流れる際はスタッフの方がすぐに船のサポートをして下さり不安になる場面が一度もありませんでした。体力が消耗してしまわない様に適度なお休み時間も作っていただき、陸に上がって島の特色に触れながらお話し話聞かせてもらいました。
お写真を撮る際もお顔が映らないようにするか配慮していただき細やかな気遣いをしていただき安心してツアーに参加することができました。
マリンシューズやライフジャケットも貸していただけて、帰り際に砂を落とす為のお水も用意して下さったので飛び込み参加を考えている方にもオススメのツアーです。
帰り際にはスタッフさんにオススメしていただいたご飯屋さんや地元の果物を堪能して心も体も満たされた1日でした。
石垣島を訪れたのは今回が初めてでしたが、世界遺産の真ん中で自然からエネルギーを貰うような特別な感覚を味わえた事にすごく興奮しています。

It was cloudy that day, but the water was clear and beautiful, allowing us to see many fish and corals! This time, I traveled to Ishigaki Island during the rainy season! I was hoping for at least one good day of weather. I heard that the weather in Ishigaki Island doesn't always match the forecast, so I didn't make any reservations in advance and decided to wait and see which day would be the best to go...
On the last day of the trip, I booked a day tour to the elusive island, snorkeling, and canoeing to experience nature! A lively young man was in charge, and seeing his well-trained body was very reassuring, haha. It turned out that it was his last working day, so we were motivated to have a great time!
The canoeing took place in an area within Ishigaki Island, and I was amazed at how much the scenery changed with just a slight shift from the sea area. It felt like an adventure with mangroves and abundant nature all around, making me feel like I was on an expedition!
As for the elusive island, it was surprisingly sunny, which is rare lately, and the sea was so clear and emerald green that it hardly felt like Japan. I was truly moved! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

石垣島は天気予報通りなことはなかなかないと聞き、事前にプランを予約しては行かず、様子を見て何日目のタイミングで行こうかは検討、、、
旅行最終日に晴れをかけて念願の幻の島と、シュノーケル、自然を体験できるカヌーの1日ツアーを予約！
元気なお兄さんが担当してくださり、鍛え上げられた体をみてとても心強かったです笑
そして、お兄さんがその日たまたま最後の出勤日だったらしく、私達も思いっきり楽しまなければ！と気合いがでました！笑
カヌーは、石垣島内のエリアで行われましたが、海のエリアと場所が少し変わるだけでこんなに変わるのかってくらいアドベンチャーって感じのマングローブといっぱいの自然が前面に広がってて冒険してる気分でした♪
幻の島に関しては、最近の中では珍しいくらい晴れたらしくとても日本とは思えないくらい透明でエメラルドグリーンな海で本当に感動です！

In June, I participated with my 6th-grade daughter and two adults. Although we couldn't go to the phantom island due to the sea conditions, we enjoyed mangrove SUP. Both instructors were kind and friendly, teaching us about the types of mangroves, how to distinguish them, and how they grow in an easy-to-understand manner, which was very interesting. They took us to mangrove tunnels and cave-like areas, adding a sense of adventure, and both my daughter and we adults had a great time. They took many photos and sent them to us on the same day, creating unforgettable memories.
Additionally, the instructors provided us with recommendations for beaches and restaurants, making our trip to Ishigaki even more enjoyable. I am filled with gratitude.
In this tour, you can choose between kayaking and SUP, but I think SUP is more enjoyable for active people since you can stand or sit and have various ways to enjoy it! I highly recommend participating in the tour.

海の影響で幻の島へは行けなかったのですが、マングローブSUPを楽しませていただきました。
インストラクターの方は2人とも優しく親切で、マングローブの種類や見分け方、増え方などを分かりやすく教えて下さり、とても興味深かったです。マングローブのトンネルや洞窟の様なところに連れて行ってもらい、アドベンチャー感もあり、娘はもちろん、私たち大人も楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
写真もたくさん撮っていただき、その日のうちに送っていただき、忘れられない思い出になりました。
さらに、インストラクターの方にはおすすめのビーチやレストランの情報をいただき、石垣の旅がより楽しいものになりました。感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
このツアーでは、カヤックとSUPを選べるのですが、SUPの方が、立ったり座ったりといろいろな楽しみ方ができるので、アクティブ派の方はより楽しめると思います！！
