Went to the mangrove for canoeing in the morning, Akira is sweet and patient to demonstrate and guide throughout the trip. The mangrove itself is calm, I’m sure it’ll be more scenic when the weather is good.
Dropped off at ~11:30 for lunch (taco rice is great, thanks Akira!) then returned back to the pier for snorkeling in the blue cave. The undersea view is absolutely stunning and is so different to see from the water level. Sebastian is helpful and friendly to guide throughout the trip, thanks! A little suggestion is that it’s too short; perhaps some free exploration time would be better.
Overall, a great trip and quick response from the team. I booked the trip less than 24 hours before it started and still managed to get confirmation messages. It’s nothing easy, thanks for the quick response!

I think it's content that beginners can fully enjoy!
It was my first time trying SUP, and I was lucky enough to see the sunrise, which was amazing!
I also enjoyed snorkeling without any difficulty, and the sea was very beautiful; I even got to see a sea turtle.
I was a bit worried because the life jacket I wore had two out of three buckles broken.
I also thought it would be great if I could provide more details about my height, weight, desired size, and swimming ability when making a reservation in advance.
The staff were very friendly, and it was a tour that made me want to do it again if I have the chance!

SUPは初めてでしたが、日の出も運良く見ることができ最高でした！
シュノーケルも難なく楽しめ、海もとても綺麗でウミガメも見ることができました。
私が着用したライフジャケットが、留め具が3箇所中2箇所壊れていて少し不安でした。
また身長や体重、希望のサイズ、泳げるか、なども事前に予約時に詳しく記載できればいいなぁと思いました。
スタッフの方もとても気さくで、また機会があったら是非やりたいと思えるようなツアーでした！
別途羽織の持参や、靴はビーチサンダルがおすすめです。
合間に休憩があるかもしれないので、事前に問い合わせなどしておくと安心です。
最後にシャワーも使えるので、シャンプー等もあると良いです。

It was my first time canoeing, and I was able to paddle quite a distance on my own while thoroughly enjoying nature. The guide provided excellent support, so I felt safe and had a great time. It was an experience that would have been impossible to do alone, and I had so much fun. Ishigaki Island is truly beautiful, and I definitely want to go back. Thank you very much.

I went to Ishigaki Island to enjoy the blue sea and starry sky, but unfortunately, it was cloudy and rainy for all four days. I was looking forward to snorkeling, and although we made it to the location, it was canceled. It was disappointing, but I appreciated that they had prepared well for us to enter the sea, and I gained more trust in them for making the decision to cancel without hesitation for safety reasons. Thank you to the staff who provided helpful information and entertained us with games on the way there and back. I will definitely come back for a revenge trip. I look forward to seeing you again then.

I wanted to enjoy the nature of Ishigaki Island, so I signed up for SUP and snorkeling. Unfortunately, the weather didn't turn out to be the clear skies I had hoped for, but thanks to our guide and everyone else in the same team, I had a very enjoyable and wonderful day.
During the morning SUP experience, we had a very cheerful guide, and my wife, daughter, and the other participants were all smiles. SUP surrounded by the mangroves and banyan trees in the great outdoors was fantastic.
In the afternoon, we went snorkeling. Although it was cloudy, the underwater scenery was more beautiful than I had imagined, and the guide was very thorough and kind in his explanations, allowing us to fully enjoy the waters of Ishigaki. Additionally, the guide shared recommendations for delicious places to eat, which was very helpful.
石垣島の自然を楽しみたかったので、SUPとシュノーケリングにエントリーしました。
天候は、残念ながら期待していた快晴とまではならなかったのですが、ガイドさんや、同じチームで参加された皆さんのお陰で、とても楽しく素敵な1日を過ごすことができました。
午前中のSUP体験ではとてもオモシロ陽気なガイドさんがついてくれて、妻も娘も他の参加者もずっと笑顔でした。マングローブやガジュマルの木に囲まれた大自然の中でのSUPは最高でした。
午後からはシュノーケリング。天気はくもりだったのですが、海の中は想像以上に美しく、ガイドさんもとても丁寧で親切に説明してくれるので、石垣の海を満喫する事ができました。
また、ガイドさんは美味しいお店など石垣の楽しみかたも教えてくれて参考になりました。
I think that even those who are shy should muster the courage to talk to the people on the same team, as it will make this activity even more enjoyable. I was the same way too ^_^

I really thought there are fish in the ocean. It was amazing to see colorful fish swimming right in front of me! The water was a bit cold, so I want to come back when it's warmer.

I participated during a rainy day in mid-March. The weather forecast the day before had issued a strong wind and wave warning, but I was able to join without any issues.
In the morning, I challenged myself with mangrove stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). I was worried about the wind, but the mangrove forest acted as a windbreak, allowing me to enjoy the unique scenery of the tropics with minimal impact. I didn't feel much cold while moving my body; in fact, I felt that a bit of chill made it even more enjoyable.
In the afternoon, we were supposed to go snorkeling, but the originally booked location was canceled due to bad weather, and we participated at a different spot. They called the day before to ask if I wanted to cancel or join at another location. Although it was drizzling and windy at times, once I put on the wetsuit they provided and entered the sea, I quickly got used to the initial coldness and thereafter enjoyed the colorful tropical fish and coral reefs without feeling cold.
There were also participants who couldn't swim, but they were able to enjoy themselves by holding onto the float that the guide was pulling. The guides were very clear with their instructions and provided information about Ishigaki Island during our travels, which made me feel safe and allowed me to enjoy the experience.
If I have the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely want to participate once more, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering joining.
3月中旬の雨天時の参加でした。
前日の天気予報では強風波浪注意報が出ていましたが無事に参加出来ました。
午前中はマングローブSUPに挑戦し、風が心配でしたがマングローブ林が防風林となってほとんど影響を受けずに南国特有の景色を楽しむことが出来ました。身体を動かすため寒さもあまり感じず、むしろ寒いぐらいの方が楽しめるように感じました。
午後はシュノーケリングでしたが、本来予約していた場所が荒天のため中止となり、別の場所での参加となりました。前日に電話連絡があり、キャンセルか別の場所での参加かを聞いてくれました。時折振りつける小雨と風の中での参加となりましたが、準備いただいたウェットスーツを着て海に入ると最初の冷たさも直ぐに慣れ、以降は寒さも感じずカラフルな熱帯魚と
サンゴ礁を堪能できました。
泳げない方も参加されて居ましたが、ガイドの引っ張るフロートに掴まって皆と同じように楽しんでおられました。
ガイドの皆さんも大きな声で注意事項もわかりやすく、移動中もアクティビティ以外の石垣島情報まで丁寧に教えてくださり、安心して楽しむことが出来ました。
もし次回来島することがあれば必ずまた参加したいと思いますし、検討中の方は是非参加することをお勧めします。

Due to bad weather, we could only do stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) instead of snorkeling, but I was happy to be able to do at least one activity! It was my first time doing SUP, and the guidance was so thorough that I didn't have any trouble. The explanations about each spot during the SUP were very interesting, and we talked throughout the tour about recommended sightseeing spots in Ishigaki and good places to eat, which made it very enjoyable.
Although it was a tour that only covered the first half, the weather can change quickly in that area, so that couldn't be helped. The mangrove forest felt even more like a hidden gem, and since it's rare to do activities in a river as an adult, it was a valuable experience. I think I will request another tour when I come back to Ishigaki! Thank you!

初めてのSUPでしたが、丁寧に案内していただいたので困ることもなく、SUP中の各スポットについての説明は非常に興味深く、他にも石垣観光のおすすめスポット、おすすめのご飯屋さんなどについて、終始お話ししながらのツアーでとても楽しめました。
前半のみ実施のツアーでしたが、天候が変わりやすい場所なのでそこは仕方ないのと、マングローブの森は秘境感が増して楽しかったですし、大人になってから川でアクティビティをすることもなかなかないので貴重な経験でした。

Almost everyone was trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling for the first time! The instructors were very thorough, so I was able to enjoy it to the fullest without any worries, even as a beginner! Thanks to the many wonderful photos taken with the GoPro, I'm reminiscing while looking back at the pictures 😊 It was such a fun experience!!!
At the end, they also recommended a lot of great restaurants for our last bus ride, so I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of my trip in Ishigaki! ✈️

Taro's warm demeanor and friendly personality shone through, and he kept us entertained with some light-hearted jokes along the way. I experienced canoeing and snorkeling in the Blue Cave for the first time! With thorough instructions, even beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind. During the experience, we received detailed explanations about the mangroves and an introduction to the Blue Cave, making it a unique way to enjoy the tour!
What stood out to me the most during this tour was the extensive introduction to Ishigaki while we were on the bus! It became a great reference for my future travels, and it turned out to be a very fulfilling trip to Ishigaki! Thank you 😊

I think sandals are better because you can wear them while still wet! After snorkeling, I felt cold, so I think it would be good to have something you can throw on while wet (I used a large towel).

I had planned to go to the Blue Cave, but due to the wind, we went to a different beach. The owner of the restaurant we went to afterward also said, "That beach is beautiful." ☺️✨ It was my first time snorkeling, and it had been a while since I swam, but I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. It seems that the morning group even saw manta rays! The weather was quite stormy with rain and wind for February 💦. However, I had such a fun time that I forgot about it 🥹💕. I experienced mangrove canoeing, where they carefully taught me how to operate the canoe, explained the plants, and I felt a sense of healing from nature, detoxifying both my mind and body 🫶🏼. For snorkeling, they chose a location less affected by the rain and wind, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience even for beginners 🐠. During our 3-day, 2-night trip, we experienced snorkeling and SUP through Beltora! Miraculously, we were able to see a sea turtle while snorkeling, which was a very precious experience! During the mangrove SUP tour, we entered the mangroves and encountered various plants and creatures. The guide provided a lot of information about Ishigaki's natural environment, which was very educational.

Unfortunately, the blue cave snorkeling was canceled due to the weather, and we had to change to a snorkeling plan in Osaki, but both the morning mangrove canoeing & SUP and the afternoon snorkeling were fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable! The instructor was kind and easy to talk to, which was very helpful! I was healed by the nature of Okinawa, and it turned out to be a fulfilling day!

I was very worried about the rain since yesterday, but contrary to my worries, the sun came out and it was clear! I participated with my first-grade child. The instructor was very friendly, cheerful, and kind, and my child quickly warmed up to them.
My child, who has four years of swimming experience, was worried because it was their first time snorkeling and going to a place in the ocean where they couldn't touch the bottom. However, the instructor kept a close eye on them, and at times, they held my child to help them breathe through their nose and take breaks. With the presence of a float, my child felt secure. Thanks to that, I was also able to enjoy snorkeling!

Due to the waves, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, so we were taken to Ohsaki Beach. During the car ride, the guide shared recommendations for shops and chatted with us, making the journey feel quick. After putting on our wetsuits, we entered the sea. I was a bit anxious since it was my first time snorkeling, but the beauty of the underwater world blew away my worries. I was amazed by the colorful fish and corals. Due to the wind, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but we were taken to another spot. There were many tropical fish near the coral, and it was a great experience to see fish up close that you usually see in an aquarium! I even encountered a large sea turtle that I had never seen before; according to the guide, you only get to see one about once in every 20 times. They took photos at various points and checked in on how I was feeling, which made me feel secure throughout the experience! I want to go snorkeling again someday!

サンゴ付近にたくさんの熱帯魚がいて、水族館で見るような魚たちを真近で見ることができてとても良い経験になりました！

After SUP in the mangrove forest, we went snorkeling in the sea. It was my first experience with SUP, but I was taught carefully and succeeded in paddling while standing! During the experience, I was able to learn a lot about the local plants and the characteristics of Ishigaki Island. While moving around, they also introduced us to recommended shops we passed by, which allowed us to fully enjoy our trip. Snorkeling was my second experience, and I was healed by the beautiful sea and colorful fish. There were children among the participants, but the staff provided careful support, so I think families with kids can participate with peace of mind. Thanks to all the staff, it was a fun trip! I participated in a day tour of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the morning and snorkeling in the afternoon.
It had been lightly raining since the day before, and it continued to rain until the morning of the tour, but there were no issues with the morning SUP. By the afternoon, it cleared up a bit, so I was able to enjoy snorkeling without any problems. (Although it was supposed to be a tour of the Blue Cave, we had to snorkel at a different spot due to the weather.)
The SUP instructor was Mr. Kimura, who taught us energetically.
During the SUP in the mangroves, I was initially nervous about falling, but I got used to it and was able to focus on the scenery. (For those who are scared to stand, paddling in a cross-legged position is stable and comfortable. However, standing is much more fun! She fell in at the end, though.)
As long as you don't fall, you only get your feet and butt wet, so it's easy to enjoy, and I want to try it in the ocean next time.
We disbanded at the island terminal for lunch and ate Ishigaki beef burgers at a burger place recommended by Mr. Kimura called Vanilla Deli.
I ordered the double patty burger with avocado wasabi sauce that was recommended. Since it was Ishigaki beef, it was a bit pricey, but the minced patty was chunky and had a strong meat flavor, and the combination of the sweet sauce and wasabi sauce was excellent and very delicious.
We gathered again at the island terminal for the second half of the snorkeling.
Our guide was Mr. Sebastian. He was very cheerful and easy to talk to, and he was also very attentive to all the participants.
She tends to get seasick easily, so she felt a bit nauseous during the tour, but he quickly noticed and addressed it accurately, allowing her to recover and continue.
The visibility and the condition of the fish might not have been perfect due to the weather, but you can't control the weather in summer or winter, and I was able to enjoy it enough.
Mr. Sebastian recommended many places for dining and drinking at night. I didn't know any of them, so I quickly made reservations.
On the way back, I was taken to my hotel, washed off the salt, took a nap, and then enjoyed delicious food and drinks... The cool Christmas in Ishigaki Island is just wonderful.
Next time, I plan to aim for the off-peak season and hope for good weather from the gods, and I hope to finally visit the Blue Cave.

午前はsup、午後はシュノーケルの1日ツアーに参加させて頂きました。
前日から軽い雨で、ツアー当日の朝まで雨でしたが、午前のsupには特に支障はなく、午後からはそこそこ晴れたのでシュノーケリングも問題なく参加する事が出来ました。
(青の洞窟のツアーでしたが、天候の都合で別ポイントでのシュノーケリングとなりました。)
supは木村さんというインストラクターさんで、元気に教えて頂きました。
マングローブでのsup、最初は落ちたくない緊張感がありましたが途中から慣れてきて景色に集中できるようになりました。
(立つのが怖い人はあぐら状態で漕ぐと安定していて楽かもです。ただ立つほうがめっちゃ楽しいです！彼女は最後に落ちましたが)
基本落ちなければ濡れるのも足とお尻ぐらいなので気楽に楽しめるし、今度は海でやりたいと思いました。
お昼に離島ターミナルで1度解散し、木村さんオススメのバニラデリというハンバーガー屋で石垣牛ハンバーガーを食べました。
注文したのはオススメされたアボカドわさびソースバーガーのパテダブル。石垣牛という事もあり少しお値段はしますが、パテのミンチがゴロゴロと肉感が強く、甘いタレとわさびソースの相性も抜群でとても美味しかったです。
再び離島ターミナルで集合して、後半のシュノーケリングへ。
担当してくれたのはセバスチャンさん。
この方もとても明るく、接しやすい方で、また、参加者全員への気配りが丁寧な方でした。
彼女は酔いやすい体質なので、ツアー途中少しだけ波に酔う事もありましたが、素早く気付いてもらえ、的確に対処してもらえたのですぐ回復し、続行できました。
天候の影響で完璧な視界や魚たちの状態ではなかったかもしれませんが、夏でも冬でも天候の運はありますし、十分に楽しむ事ができました。
セバスチャンさんからは夜の飲食のおすすめ店をたくさん教えてもらいました。どこも知らない所で、とりあえず早速予約しました。
帰りはホテルまで送ってもらい、塩を流して一眠りし、美味い酒と飯へ…。涼しい石垣島のクリスマス、めっちゃ良いです。
次も閑散期を狙って、後は天候を神様に願い、今度こそ青の洞に行けたら、と思います。

I confirmed in advance whether only children could participate before making the reservation. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, the sea was rough and the temperature was cold, but in the morning we did a mangrove canoe tour, followed by a 3-hour break (which seemed a bit long for the kids…). In the afternoon, due to the weather, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, so we snorkeled at another location. The sea conditions seemed calm, so I was able to relax and leave it to the guides while I was diving elsewhere.

First, we went canoeing down a river filled with mangroves. We were able to see mangrove tunnels and coral caves as well. Thanks to our guide, Shinpei, who kindly provided instructions, we had a fun canoeing experience.
After a two-hour break for lunch, we moved to the beach for a snorkeling experience. It had been a while since I last snorkeled, but I enjoyed seeing beautiful fish and coral reefs. I was lucky to encounter a green sea turtle as well.
On the way back, we were taken to a free shower spot, which was great because I could shower right away. We took a lot of photos, and it became a wonderful memory.

最初はカヌーでマングローブがたくさんある川下りができました。
マングローブのトンネルやサンゴの鍾乳洞なども見ることができました。

We participated with our family from 9 AM in late November. Due to strong winds and bad weather, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave and instead went snorkeling at Ohsaki Beach as a substitute.
The morning mangrove canoeing was very enjoyable, and the guide was friendly, allowing us to ask various questions, which added to the fun of learning.
We returned to the island terminal once and had just under three hours of free time before the afternoon activities, but it turned out well as we could leisurely stroll around the town. The guide also recommended some shops, which we checked out.
During the afternoon snorkeling, it rained occasionally, but we weren't cold in our wetsuits, and we were able to encounter two sea turtles.
We took a lot of photos, and both the kids and parents had a great time. I highly recommend it.

強風で天気も良くなかったので、青の洞窟は行けず、振替の大崎ビーチでのシュノーケリングになりました。
午前中のマングローブカヌーはとても楽しく、ガイドさんも気さくで質問も色々できて知る楽しみもありました。
一度離島ターミナルに戻って、午後からのアクティビティまで3時間弱時間が空いてしまいましたが、ゆっくり街中をぶらぶらできたので結果OKでした。ガイドさんがおすすめのお店なども教えてくれるので行ってみたりしました。
午後からのシュノーケリングの時は時折雨も降っていましたが、ウェットスーツで寒くなかったですし、ウミガメにも2匹遭遇することができました。
写真もたくさん撮ってもらい、子供達も親も楽しめておすすめです。
