I participated in a stargazing and night tour for the first time because I wanted to see the beautiful starry sky and the tropical flora and fauna. Since there were only my child and me as participants this time, we were able to take our time and learn various things from the guide. We were able to see coconut crabs and hermit crabs, and the starry sky was beautiful to see with the naked eye. I truly had a wonderful time. My child was scared at first, but by the end, they said, "It was so much fun!" and we were able to create lovely memories on our last day. The guide was kind and shared a lot of detailed information about the various plants and animals. I would love to join the stargazing and night tour again the next time I come to Ishigaki Island. Thank you very much.
きれいな星空と南国の動植物がみたくて、初めて星空&ナイトツアーに参加しました。
今回は参加者が私と子どもだけだったので、ガイドさんにいろいろ教えて頂きながらゆっくりと参加することができました。
ヤシガニやヤドカリ、肉眼できれいな星空もみることができて、本当に素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。
子どもも最初は怖がっていましたが、最後は｢とっても楽しかった！｣と言っていて、最終日に素敵な思い出を作ることができました。
ガイドさんも優しくて、いろいろな動植物も詳しく教えてくださいました。
次回石垣島に来るときもまた星空&ナイトツアーに参加したいです。

I participated in late May!! Unfortunately, due to the cloudy weather, we had to give up on stargazing, but it was a great tour filled with adventure, including exploring for coconut crabs and discovering other small animals. It wasn't a physically demanding experience, so women were also able to join. The tour guide was very kind and friendly, making it a very fulfilling tour!! I think it's an experience tour that can be enjoyed by both groups and individuals!!!
5月下旬参加しました！！あいにくの曇りで星空観測は断念したのですがヤシガニ散策や他小動物の発見など冒険感溢れる良いツアーでした。ハードな体験ツアーではないので女性の方も参加してました。ツアーガイドの方もとても優しくフレンドリーでとても充実したツアーになりました！！

It took about 30 minutes by car from the terminal. During the ride, our guide Gin-chan shared stories about the island and provided a fun tour, making the journey feel quick and enjoyable. When we arrived at the pitch-black jungle, we were each given a flashlight, and with excitement, we ventured into the jungle under Gin-chan's guidance. We encountered many coconut crabs, rare crabs, and spiders. It was incredibly fun. Although we didn't get to see the beautiful starry sky, I want to try again. The thrill of searching for creatures was exhilarating, and I had a blast. I highly recommend this experience! On the way back, we also encountered Ryukyu wild boars and frogs, which added to the value of the trip!
ターミナル集合から車で30分ぐらい移動。車中 ガイドさんの銀ちゃんが、ツアー案内から島の話から楽しい時間で飽きることも無くあっという間の移動でした。真っ暗なジャングルに着くと・・1人1人懐中電灯を渡されドキドキで銀ちゃんの案内の元ジャングル内へ突入。沢山のヤシガニ、珍しいカニ、蜘蛛・・との出会い。めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです。唯一素敵な星空には逢えませんでしたが、リベンジしたいです。生き物探しのワクワク 久々きゃーきゃーわーわーほんと楽しかったです。めちゃくちゃおすすめです♪帰り道 琉球いのししやかえるにも逢えてお得感満載でした♪

Exploring the jungle path, which was more lush than I had imagined, while light rain fell, was very exciting.
We were able to see and touch a beautiful starry sky, a large hermit crab, some rare insects, and even a coconut crab, which we were lucky to encounter.
I thought it might be a bit hard for my child, but they were completely absorbed in the exploration and never got bored until the end, making it enjoyable for both of us.
The guides were also very supportive and attentive until the very end, which was truly wonderful.

お天気が曇りであった為、星空は見れませんでしたが、たくさんの海辺の生き物に遭遇することができました。
ヤシガニには10回も遭遇することができました。
他にも複数種類のカニやヤドカリにも会え、息子は大興奮でした。
また、生き物の名前だけでなく習性なども教えてくださり、大変勉強になりました。
最初はご機嫌斜めな息子でしたが、ガイドさんが上手に盛り上げてくださり、とても楽しめました。

When I arrived at the meeting point, they picked me up in a van and took me to the jungle. The journey wasn't silent; they shared a lot of interesting stories about Ishigaki Island, so I quickly arrived at the jungle. Unfortunately, the weather on the day I participated was not great, and I could only see a few stars, but that's just luck, so there's nothing to be done about it. Instead, I explored the jungle more, and it turned out to be even more fun than I imagined, and I became completely absorbed in it. The exploration location was near Sakieda in Ishigaki City, and it felt more like a jungle than I expected as we pushed through the underbrush. Unfortunately, the starry sky was obscured by clouds, so we couldn't see much, but we encountered various creatures like four coconut crabs, a giant tree frog, a scorpion, and a large spider! The excitement when we found the coconut crabs was great! Our guide, Manaka, also kept the conversation lively during the car ride, making the whole experience enjoyable.

It was great! The two guides really worked hard to entertain us from the gathering to the moving and dispersing, and their stories were interesting. They even helped us find a coconut crab while we were climbing the cliffs and sweating! I didn't expect to have such an active guide.
During the tour, be careful as you leave your luggage in the car. We finished around 10 PM that day. I felt like I received energy from the young people, and I definitely want to participate again.

I was hesitant to participate because of the rain forecast, but I decided to go for it after reading reviews that said you could encounter many creatures in the rain. Although we couldn't see the stars, the deep jungle provided enough cover from the rain, and once we reached the beach, we were able to search for creatures in a nearby cave, so it was fine.
Thanks to the staff and a knowledgeable child who was also participating, we encountered even more creatures. We saw three coconut crabs, as well as other crabs, a scorpion fish, a sea snake, an eel, frogs, and many other unique creatures of Ishigaki Island, making for a very enjoyable time. My daughter and I both love various creatures, so it became a great memory.
For those hesitant about the rain forecast, I recommend participating without hesitation.
雨予報だったので参加を迷ったのですが、口コミに雨だと生き物に多く出会えるなどかかれていたので思い切って参加しました。星空は見られませんでしたが、深いジャングルの中は木に遮られてさほど雨はかかりませんでしたし、浜に出てからも近くの洞窟で生き物探しをしたので大丈夫でした。
スタッフの方はもちろん、参加されていた生き物に詳しいお子様のお陰でより多くの生き物に出会えました。ヤシガニ3匹、その他にもカニやサソリもどき、ウミヘビ、ウツボ、カエルなどなど、石垣島ならではの生き物を身近にみられとても楽しい時間でした。娘も私も色々な生き物が好きなので、良い思い出になりました。
雨予報で迷っている方は迷わず参加する事をおススメします。

We participated as a couple. The jungle cruise in complete darkness was thrilling. The excitement of finding a scorpion, lizard, and coconut crab made me feel like a child again, even at nearly 60 years old. Additionally, the starry sky on the beach and the distant blinking of the Omaezaki lighthouse were truly precious experiences. Above all, the guide's explanations were thorough, detailed, and fascinating, which made it very enjoyable. It became a cherished memory of Ishigaki Island.

I participated in the tour on February 24, 2024. The weather that day was cloudy with a cloud cover of about 7 to 8, and with a full moon, it was not ideal for stargazing. However, when we arrived at the site 30 minutes after the tour started, the clouds cleared a bit, and we were able to see the stars. The jungle tour was also very interesting, with the tour guide providing detailed and engaging explanations, and despite the darkness, they managed to find and introduce various creatures. The tour was not close, as it took about 30 minutes by bus from the meeting point, but there were entertaining talks along the way, making it a completely enjoyable experience.

While searching for creatures in the jungle, we made our way to the beach, but unfortunately, we didn't encounter any coconut crabs before reaching the shore. According to the staff, the high temperatures and good weather leading up to our visit affected our chances. They mentioned that the likelihood of encountering coconut crabs increases after it rains. Since it was close to a full moon, the moonlight prevented us from seeing a perfect starry sky, but I was relieved to be able to enjoy the stargazing nonetheless. After reaching the beach, we set out again to search for coconut crabs, and a child in our group, being at a lower eye level, spotted some frogs and spiders. Just as I thought we might end the tour without seeing any coconut crabs, the staff found a small coconut crab on a cliff on our way back. Although we couldn't get close enough to see it well, we could tell it was blue.
This tour is very much affected by the weather, so I recommend checking the weather forecast carefully before participating, as it might seem a bit pricey. The staff were friendly and shared stories about Ishigaki Island during our travels.

I participated in a graduation trip from Tokyo! During the shuttle ride, the guide shared interesting facts about the history of Ishigaki Island and its wildlife, which was very educational and conveyed the charm of Ishigaki Island, allowing us to have a great time. We passed through areas without streetlights, and the scenery was never boring, different from what we saw during the day. Additionally, there was a thrilling moment when a wild boar suddenly appeared in the dark, making the experience exciting even before we got out of the car!
In the jungle, I saw various creatures and plants that are different from those in Tokyo, including cockroaches, large spiders, stick insects, scorpions, and coconut crabs that I had never seen before, which was exhilarating. At the beginning of the tour, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, but the weather in Ishigaki Island can change quickly, and it started to rain in the latter half of the tour. However, I was very impressed that we drove around searching for spots with fewer clouds until the last minute. Although it was only for a short time, I was able to see wonderful scenery that I can't see in the city, and it became a fantastic memory that made me feel glad to have come to Ishigaki Island!
Even though it was late on the way back, they kindly dropped us off at the hotel, which was very helpful. We were both extremely satisfied to have experienced Ishigaki Island's nature beyond our expectations! ツアーの初めは雲一つなかったのですが、石垣島の天候は変わりやすくツアー後半では雨が降ってきてしまいました。しかし、時間ギリギリまで雲が少ない場所を車を走らせて何箇所も探していただけたことに、とても感動しました。少しの間ではありましたが、都会では見れない素晴らしい景色を見ることができ、石垣島に来て良かったと思えるようなとても素晴らしい思い出になりました！！
帰りも遅い時間でしたがホテルまで送ってくださり、非常に助かりました。

I participated at the end of February. Although I didn't see the target coconut crab, I still had a valuable experience that I wouldn't normally have in my daily life, such as encountering a family of Ryukyu wild boars and seeing large spiders and various plants in the jungle along the way. Just moving through the pitch-black forest with a single light was incredibly exciting, and I enjoyed the explanations about the rocks being coral fossils, indicating that it used to be the bottom of the sea! Once we arrived in the jungle, there were steep slopes, but the guide was always reminding us to be careful, which made me feel safe. There were also children among the participants, and they seemed to be having a great time, so I think it's highly recommended. It was also fun to see the guide's reaction (his name was Mahiro) when he was surprised by the bats flying in the cave. I had a great time participating! Thank you very much!
2月末に参加させていただきました。 結果的にはお目当てのヤシガニは見られませんでしたが、それでもジャングルに向かうと途中の道のりでリュウキュウイノシシの親子やジャングル内で大きなクモ等の生き物・植物という普段の生活では出来ない貴重な体験ができました。 真っ暗闇の森の中をライト1つで進んでいくのだけでもすごくワクワクしますし、岩がサンゴの化石だったりして昔は海の底だった事等の説明いただき楽しく探検気分を味わえました！ また、ジャングルに到着してから急な斜面があったりしますがガイドさんがその都度気を付けてくださいと呼びかけてくださるので安心です☺ 参加者にお子様も居られましたが、 楽しそうにされていてお勧めだと思いました。 洞窟内で飛んでるコウモリに驚いているガイドさん(まひろさんというお兄さんでした)の反応も楽しかったです。笑 参加できて楽しかったです！ ありがとうございました！

I participated because I wanted to experience the nature of Ishigaki Island at night. The roads were much darker than I had imagined, and I was filled with excitement and anticipation as we drove along. We were able to encounter natural monuments like hermit crabs, the world's three major bizarre insects such as the tailless whip scorpion, coconut crabs, and the golden tortoise beetle. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a pity that we couldn't see the stars, but I'll save that for next time. Depending on the season and weather, the creatures and the sky we encounter will be different, so I would like to participate again. On the day of the event, the forecast predicted cloudy weather, so I gave up on seeing the starry sky and participated in the night jungle tour with my colleagues. Although it was drizzling and cloudy, I was able to encounter coconut crabs, spiders, frogs, and see limestone caves and tropical trees, which was enjoyable. The guide, despite being young, was very knowledgeable and had an entertaining way of speaking. Thanks to their constant engagement with the participants, I had a very enjoyable time. I'm grateful for that.
In the end, the clouds temporarily cleared, and I was able to see the beautiful starry sky of the tropics, achieving all my initial goals! It turned out to be the best tour with no complaints. I highly recommend this tour for experiencing the extraordinary nights in Ishigaki Island.

小雨が降ったり曇り空の下ではありましたが、ヤシガニやクモ、カエルなどに出会え、鍾乳洞や南国特有の木々なども見ることが出来て楽しかったです。
担当ガイドの方も若いのに非常に博学でトークも面白く、終始参加者に対して声をかけていただいたおかげでとても楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。感謝です。

We participated as a group of five adults. I thought it would be a childish tour, and I apologize for that assumption. I never imagined that what I was about to experience would become a lifelong treasure.
Walking in complete darkness with just a single light, I was immediately excited by the guide's explanation! The sound of owls echoing through the forest only added to my thrill. It was more thrilling than I expected. We encountered many rare creatures like coconut crabs, geckos, owls, and snakes. Once we emerged from the forest, we were greeted by a sky full of stars and the moonlight reflecting on the sea. It felt luxurious to see so many stars so closely. I truly felt that coming here today was the right decision!
The guide had extensive knowledge and explained everything clearly, allowing us to learn a lot about Ishigaki Island. They were also friendly and entertaining, which I believe is one of the charms of this tour. If I have the opportunity to visit Ishigaki Island again, I will definitely participate in this tour.
大人5人で参加しました。子供騙しのツアーかと思いきや、そんな事を思っていたことに謝罪。
これから体験する事が一生涯の宝物になろうとは‥。
真っ暗闇をライト一つで歩きます、とガイドさんの説明で早速大興奮！森に響き渡るフクロウの鳴き声にさらにワクワクがとまりません。想像以上にスリルも満点。ヤシガニ、ヤモリ、フクロウ、ヘビなど沢山の珍しい生き物に出会えました。森を抜けるとそこは満天の星空。そして、海に映る月明かり。こんなに沢山の星をこんなにも近くに感じて見る事ができる贅沢なこの場所。今日、本当にここへ来て良かった！と強く思いました。ガイドさんは豊富な知識を持ち説明も分かりやすく石垣島を詳しく知る事ができました。また、気さくで面白くこのツアーの魅力の一つだとおもいます。また石垣島へ行く機会があったらこちらのツアーに参加させていただきます。

Everything was perfect and in great shape that day! We were able to encounter various creatures, and the stars were incredibly beautiful as well! It felt like a wonderful time was flowing in that space. Everyone was truly immersed in the experience, and I believe the reason we felt so good about being here is because of your hearts and the great nature of Ishigaki Island.
Let's keep the memories of that day in our hearts as we head towards new worlds! And please come back to Ishigaki Island again. If I'm there next time, I'll make sure to give it my all again! It was a tour that combined stargazing and a night jungle experience. There was a thoughtful service where they asked us to check our boot sizes in advance to prepare for exploring the untouched jungle. Although it took about 30 minutes by car to reach the jungle, the guide's talks about Ishigaki Island made the journey enjoyable. On the day of the tour, there were few clouds, and we were able to see a beautiful starry sky. Due to my camera's performance, I couldn't capture nice photos myself, but I was very happy to receive beautiful photos of the starry sky taken by the guide at the end of the tour. The explanations about the animals and plants were easy to understand, and overall, it was a highly satisfying tour.
星空とナイトジャングルがセットとなったツアーでした。整備されていないありのままのジャングルを探検するため、予め長靴のサイズを確認の上用意して頂けるといった配慮のあるサービスもありました。ジャングルに向かうまで片道30分程度車での移動時間もありましたが、移動中もガイドさんの石垣島トークで楽しい気分でツアーに参加できました。当日は雲が少なくとても綺麗な星空を見ることができました。カメラの性能のため、ありうまく自分で綺麗な写真を収める事ができませんでしたが、ツアー終わりにガイドさんが撮影した綺麗な星空の写真を頂けたのもとても嬉しかったです。動物や植物の解説もわかりやすく、総合してとても満足度の高いツアーでした。

It was my first time participating in the jungle night tour, so I was a bit anxious, but the guide was very attentive, and I had a great time until the end! They provided us with rubber boots, rain gear, and flashlights, so there was nothing we needed to prepare ourselves, making it very easy to join. While some aspects, like stargazing and encounters with nocturnal creatures, depend on nature, spending time in a completely dark space surrounded by nature was very thrilling. It became an unforgettable memory. I would like to participate again in a different season next time.
ジャングルナイトツアーに参加するのは初めてのことだったので不安でしたが、ガイドも丁寧で最後まで楽しく過ごせました！長靴や雨具、懐中電灯も用意していただけたので、自分たちで調達するものはなくとても楽に参加できました。星空鑑賞や夜の生き物との出会いなど、自然に左右される部分もありますが真っ暗の中自然に囲まれた空間で過ごすのはとてもドキドキしました。忘れられない思い出になりました。次はまた季節を変えて参加してみたいと思っています。

I participated with my 3-year-old child. It was truly an adventurous tour through a pitch-black jungle and along the seaside, about a 30-minute bus ride from the island terminal, with a flashlight in hand! The guides shared many stories during the round trip on the bus, making the journey very enjoyable.
During the exploration, they handled my child's wild requests and demands with humor, and there were about 20 other participants who were all very warm and friendly. We were able to find many interesting things together, including examples of the world's three major bizarre insects and models of the Devil Fruit!
We moved slowly while searching for living creatures, so my 3-year-old was able to keep up without falling behind or causing any trouble. The day before it had rained, and it had been cloudy until our meeting time, so I had given up hope of seeing the stars. However, we were able to see countless stars by the seaside, which was very satisfying. Thank you!

離島ターミナルからバスで30分ほどの真っ暗なジャングルと海辺を懐中電灯片手に本当に探険するツアーでした！ガイドのお兄さんたちは往復のバスの中もたくさんのお話をして下さりバスの車中からとても楽しく過ごすことができました。
探検の際も子どもの無茶振りや要望にも笑いを取りつつ対応して下さり、周りの参加者も20名ほどいらっしゃいましたが本当に温かい方が多く
世界三大奇虫や悪魔の実のモデルなど色々なものをみんなでたくさん見つけることができました！
生き物を探しながらゆっくり進むので3歳児でも全然遅れを取らず周りに迷惑をかけずついていけるペースでした！
前日は雨、その日の集合まではずっと曇りだったので星は見れないかなと諦めていたものの、実際に海辺で無数の星を見ることができ大変満足です。

I participated in a tour at the beginning of February when it was raining on and off. Since I was aiming to see the starry sky, I hesitated to cancel until the last minute, but it turned out to be a great decision to join! I borrowed a poncho-like raincoat, a light, and rubber boots, and ventured into the pitch-dark jungle while searching for creatures, eventually reaching the beach to explore the coconut crabs among the towering rocks. Thanks to the guide's efforts, we finally encountered a large coconut crab! I was amazed and deeply moved by its beautiful blue appearance. The rain and cold were completely forgotten. The round trip took about 30 minutes by car, and I learned a lot about Ishigaki Island through the guide's entertaining stories. Although we couldn't see the starry sky (I saw it with my heart), it was a fun tour. On the way back, I was even taken to a recommended shop, for which I am truly grateful! Thank you very much!
雨が降ったり止んだりの2月初めにツアーに参加させていただきました。
星空を目的としていたので、直前までキャンセルするか迷ったのですが、参加して大正解でした！
ポンチョのような雨ガッパとライトと長靴をお借りして、真っ暗闇のジャングルを生き物を探しながら進み、浜に出て壁のような岩をくまなくヤシガニ探索。
ガイドさんの奮闘により、とうとう大きなヤシガニに出会うことができました！
綺麗なブルーの姿に驚きと感動もひとしお。雨や寒さも吹き飛びました。
車に乗って往復30分ほど、ガイドさんの楽しいおしゃべりで石垣島のいろんなことを知ることもでき、星空は見られませんでしたが（心の目で見ました）、楽しいツアーでした。
帰り際には、おすすめのお店まで送ってもいただき本当に感謝です！
