I had to change the pickup location suddenly around 4:30 PM on the day of the tour, but they kindly accommodated my request. During the drive to and from the location, the guide found owls and snakes, making the journey enjoyable. We were blessed with good weather and got to see a beautiful starry sky and coconut crabs, making it a very satisfying tour. Thank you!

当日の午後4時半位に送迎場所を急遽変更したのですが、快く応じてくださいました。行き帰りの車の中でも、ガイドさんがフクロウや蛇を見つけてくれたり、移動中も楽しかったです。お天気にも恵まれ、キレイな星空やヤシガニも見れて大満足なツアーでした。ありがとうございました！

This is my second time participating. It's very moving because I can't often see a sky full of stars in my daily life. The explanations from the stargazing guide were easy to understand, and I gained more knowledge! On the day of the event, the wind was strong, and the perceived temperature was quite different from during the day. They lend out blankets, but it might be good to dress warmly when participating. I plan to go stargazing again in a different season.

二回目の参加です。
なかなか普段の生活では空いっぱいの星空を見ることができないので、とても感動的です。
星空ガイドさんの説明も分かりやすく、知識が増えました！
当日は風が強くて体感温度が昼間とかなり違いました。ブランケットは貸してくれますが、参加するときは暖かい格好が良いかも。
また別の季節にも星を観に行こうと思います。

The starry sky and night view at Banna Park were absolutely wonderful, and I could have watched them forever. During my stroll along Ohama Beach, I was lucky enough to see bats, frogs, hermit crabs, and even coconut crabs. The guide was very personable, sharing various information and even making light jokes, which made the experience even better.

バンナ公園で見る星空も夜景もとっても素敵で、いつまでも見ていられそうでした。大浜海岸の散策ではコウモリ、カエル、ヤドカリにヤシガニまで見ることができて幸運でした。ガイドのお兄さんもいろんな情報を話してくれたり、軽く冗談を交えてくれたりと大変好感の持てる方で良かったです。

I participated with a friend as a memory of our graduation trip.

When boarding, we each received a drink. I thought there would be a variety of options from alcohol to soft drinks, which there were. However, I was surprised to find that they were served in plastic bottles and cans instead of glasses! I felt it would have been even better if there were warm drinks available.

The stargazing itself was very impressive! At first, I was worried about whether we would be able to see anything from a bright location, but the view from the dark area was overwhelming. The explanations using a penlight were easy to understand, and I really enjoyed the stargazing!

Despite being mid-February, the weather was good, and it was explained that it was lucky to be able to observe so many stars at this time of year, which made for a wonderful memory!

However, it was colder than I expected. The first floor of the boat had no windbreak, and because the boat was moving quickly, we were exposed to the wind the entire time. I recommend stargazing from the second floor!

I was very satisfied with both the performance on the sanshin and the stargazing, so I think it would be an amazing tour if you just prepare for the cold!

If I have the opportunity to go to Ishigaki Island again, I would definitely want to participate in this tour! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

卒業旅行の思い出にと友人と2人で参加しました。

乗船する際にドリンクを1人1ついただきました。
アルコールからソフトドリンクまでと種類は豊富だと思います。ただ、グラスでいただく物かと思いきや、ペットボトルや缶での配布に驚きました笑
温かい飲み物もあれば、なお良かったと感じました。

星の観測自体は、とてもよく見えました！
最初は明るい場所からだったので見えるのか不安でしたが、暗い場所からの景観は圧倒されました。
ペンライトを使いながらの説明も分かりやすく、星の観測をとても楽しむ事が出来ました！

2月の中頃ながら天気はよく、この時期で星がたくさん観測できるのはラッキーだと説明があり、本当にいい思い出が出来ました！

ただ、予想以上に寒かったです。
船の1階には風避けがなく、船のスピードが速い分、ずっと風にさらされました。
星の観測をするなら2階で観られることをオススメします！

三線での演奏も星の観測もとても満足出来たので、寒さ対策だけすれば本当に最高のツアーになると思いました！

また、石垣島へ行く機会があれば、是非、参加したいと思えるツアーでした！感動をありがとうございました。

It was reassuring that we could cancel on the day due to the weather. In the end, I was glad to enjoy a beautiful starry sky. There was a blanket available for rent, but it was colder than I expected due to the strong wind, so it would have been better to wear warm clothing.

天候によって当日キャンセルできる点が安心でよかった。結果的にはきれいな星空を楽しめてよかったです。
ブランケットの貸し出しがあったが風が強く思ったより冷えたので、暖かい服装でいくほうがよかった。

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time from February 16 (Sunday) to February 19 (Wednesday). To my surprise, it was extremely cold throughout the entire period. Both the sunset cruise and the starry sky viewing cruise were cold and had a lot of clouds, which was very disappointing (tears). There's nothing we can do about the weather, so it can't be helped. I imagine it was difficult for the crew and the sanshin player as well. However, on the way back to the port, we were able to see a few stars through a small break in the clouds, which was a relief. Ishigaki Island is a very beautiful island, so I would like to try again!

2/16(日) 〜 2/19(水)で初めて石垣島を訪問。
同期間すべてがまさかの超寒いという結果に。
サンセットクルーズと本星空鑑賞クルーズ両方とも寒い＆雲が多く、とても残念な結果となりました（涙）
お天気ばかりはどうしようもないので致し方ないですね。
説明クルーの方も三線の方も、やりにくかっただろうなと思います。
ただ、港に帰る途中で、雲のわずかな切れ目から、数個の星が見られたのが救いでした。
石垣島はとても素敵な島でしたので、またリベンジしたいと思います！

I participated on February 12, 2020. First of all, I was relieved that I could cancel on-site if it was cloudy before making a reservation. I took the optional open bus to the location. Along the way, I was able to see beautiful stars. When I arrived, the clouds made it so that sometimes the stars were visible and sometimes they weren't, but I felt that was just part of nature! They provided blankets and warm tea. Next, I would like to go in the summer to see the starry sky in all its glory.

2020.2.12に参加させていただきました。まず、予約前から曇っていたら現地キャンセル可能なので安心でした。
オプションのオープンバスで現地に向かいました。
その途中から綺麗な星を見ることができました。
現地に到着すると、雲の流れで星が見えたり見えなかったりしましたが、それも自然なんだなぁ～と感じました！ブランケットにあたたかいお茶を用意して下さっていました。
次は夏に随時満天の星空を観に行きたいです。

I participated in February.
During this time, there were talks about the cold north winds and cloudy skies, but fortunately, I was able to see many stars.
The guide's explanations were thorough and good.
However, be careful as looking up too much can really hurt your neck!

Due to the large number of people, it was difficult to secure a place to sit.
Also, depending on where you sit, it might be challenging to view the stars.

After the boat moved a bit, there was an explanation about the stars, and it was easy to understand as the guide pointed them out with a laser pointer.
However, there were times when I couldn't hear everything due to the waves and the sound of the boat.

At one point, there was a live performance of the sanshin, but it was unfortunate that the sound of the boat's engine made it hard to hear the performer's explanations and music (I understand that we had to move due to time constraints, but it was still a bit disappointing).

This time, I was able to see a relatively large number of stars, so overall, I was satisfied.

Additionally, the day before the cruise, I received detailed information about the day's precautions, and the car pick-up service was very attentive, which I appreciated.

２月に参加しました。
この時期は北風も吹いて曇りがちとのお話もありましたが、幸運にも沢山の星をみることができました。
ガイドさんの解説も丁寧で良かったです。
ただし上を見すぎるとかなり首が痛くなるので注意です！

人数が多かったこともあり、座る場所の確保に困りました。
また座る場所によっては星を眺めるのが難しいところもありそうでした。

少し船が進んでから、星の説明があり、レザーポイントで指しながらだったので、分かりやすかったです。
ただ波や船の音で、ところどころ聞こえないこともあった。

途中、三線の生演奏を聴ける時間もありましたが、船のエンジン音で演奏者の解説や音楽が聞こえにくい場面もあったことが残念でした(時間の関係上、移動しないといけないのはやむを得ないと思いますが...)

今回は比較的に星がたくさん見れたので、全体的に満足でした。

また、クルーズ前日に、当日の注意点など細かに教えてもらったり、車の送迎をしていただいたりと、全体的にとても丁寧な対応だったのが良かったです。

It was windy and cold, but I was lent a blanket and also received a warm drink. They explained the stars and constellations in detail, and I kept saying, "Wow, that's amazing!" This time I participated in winter, but I would like to join in summer next time.

今回は冬の参加でしたが、次回は夏に参加したいです。

The sky was clear, and I could see the stars beautifully. Since we went out to the ocean, the stars were very vivid. I was able to listen to the sanshin and had a wonderful time. The shuttle service to the hotel was also convenient, which was great.

空が晴れていて、しっかり星が観れました。
沖まで出たので、星もクッキリでした。
三線も聞けて、素敵なひとときを過ごせました。
ホテルへの送迎も楽ちんで、良かったです。

I was picked up by an open bus to the island terminal.
At the Starry Sky Farm, there were deck chairs, binoculars, blankets, and warm tea prepared for us.
Even if you don't have knowledge about stars, the guide provided detailed explanations using a pointer, which was great.
There were many solo female travelers, so I encourage anyone traveling alone to participate without hesitation! ^_^

離島ターミナルまでオープンバスで迎えに来てもらいました。
星空ファームではデッキチェア、双眼鏡、ブランケット、温かいお茶が用意されていました。
星の知識がなくてもガイドさんがポインターを使い丁寧な説明がありましたので、良かったです。
女性一人旅の方も多かったので、是非一人旅の方も躊躇せず参加してみて下さい^_^

The stargazing and night safari tour was a nature-based experience, so it's understandable, but during the tour, we saw plenty of hermit crabs. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, and we couldn't see the starry sky at the observation deck, which was disappointing. Next time, I want to see a sky full of stars on a clear day.

星空観賞とナイトサファリのツアーということで、自然相手のツアーなので仕方ないですが、ツアー中、ヤドカリはたくさん見れましたが、天気が曇で星空が展望台で全く見れなかったのが残念です。次は晴れた日に満天の星空を見たい。

I had never seen the Milky Way, so I signed up, but the city lights were incredibly bright, like in a big city, so I didn't think I would be able to see many stars. Even in complete darkness, it's hard to see, and with the city being this bright, I wondered if it would be visible at all. It was originally cloudy, so I should have canceled.

天の川を見たことなかったので申し込みましたけど街の明かりが都会並みにすごく明るかったので星はそれほど見えるとは思えなかった。真っ暗でもなかなか見えないのにこんなに街が明るくて見えるのか。もともと曇ってて見えなかったのでキャンセルしたらよかった。

I participated in February, but the open-top bus was quite cold. I was glad I wore a down jacket. The explanation of the constellations with the laser pointer was very easy to understand.

2月に参加したのですが、オープントップバスがかなり寒かったです。
ダウンジャケットを着ていてちょうど良かったです。
レーザーポインターでの星座の解説はとても分かりやすかったです。

You can receive a call before departure. If there are clouds and it seems like the stars won't be visible, same-day cancellations are possible. In the end, I felt uneasy about the thickness of the clouds and requested to change the date, but they kindly accepted my request. For those who definitely want to see the stars, you can apply without hesitation and feel assured. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the Southern Cross, but walking in the pitch dark nature, relying on a flashlight, is an experience that you can't easily have alone. I participated with a focus on the stars, but I also enjoyed the wildlife, and I highly recommend it.

出発前にお電話をいただけます。雲が出ていて星が見えなそうであれば、当日取消も可能ということでした。結局、雲の厚さに不安を感じ、日にちの変更をお願いしましたが、快く受けていただけました。星を必ず見たいと思っている方は、躊躇なく申し込んでも安心です。残念ながら、南十字星は見られませんでしたが、一人では絶対いけない、真っ暗な自然の中を、懐中電灯を頼りに歩くのは、なかなかできない体験だと思います。星重視で参加しましたが、野生も楽しめておすすめです。

I couldn't see anything in the reviews! However, I participated in various tours in Hokkaido, so I understand that the chances of encountering wildlife are low. Still, the experience of walking through the jungle on Iriomote Island was indeed difficult without a guide, but I was able to catch glimpses of various ecosystems. I was able to see the starry sky during the tour, so I recommend participating during the new moon.

レビューで何も見れなかった！等ありますが、北海道等で様々なツアーに参加致しましたので、野性動物等に巡り会える可能性が低いのは承知の上で参加しております。
それでも西表島のジャングルの中を歩く体験は、やはりガイドさん無しでは難しく、様々な生態系を垣間見ることが出来ました。
星空はツアー途中で見ることができましたので、新月の時の参加をオススメします。

We were picked up at the hotel and arrived at the stargazing spot in the dark. It was a cloudy day during the rainy season, but we were able to observe Orion and surrounding stars through the gaps in the clouds. The guide shared the names of the stars and stories from Greek mythology. After that, we moved to the starting point of the night jungle tour, progressing along a narrow path overgrown with vegetation that is rarely seen in the mainland. While searching for wildlife and insects, we only managed to find a hermit crab, a spider, a gecko, and a sand crab, as it was winter. The knowledgeable guide provided information about the names and characteristics of the plants we encountered, and we could also ask about different plants and phenomena that can be seen in other seasons, making me want to visit again in a different season. The day's temperatures were a high of 18°C and a low of 13°C, but it was cold with the north wind when we went out to sea. However, in the jungle, walking around made it feel just right even with a light jacket. They provided us with rubber boots, so we felt secure walking through puddles in the jungle and along the beach.

この時期は雨季に当たるそうで当日は晴れ間も見えた曇りの日でしたが、
雲間からオリオン座と周辺の星を観測することができ、ガイドさんが星の名前やギリシャ神話を教えて下さりました。
その後はナイトジャングルツアーの出発地点まで移動、
「内地」ではなかなか目にすることの無い草木の茂った細道を進みます。
野生動物や昆虫を探しながら進みますが、さすがに冬の時期で発見できたのは「ヤドカリ」「蜘蛛」「ヤモリ」「スナガニ」、あとは潮だまりの魚たちだけでした。
博識なガイドさんがその場その場で植物の名前や知識を教えて下さることはもちろん、違う季節に見られる動植物や現象についても伺うことができ、また是非違う季節にも訪れたいと思いました。
服装としては最高気温18℃、最低気温13℃の一日でしたが海に出ると北風が冷たく寒かったですが、ジャングルの中では歩いていることもあり羽織があっても丁度よく感じる程度で、足元は長靴をお貸し頂けるのでジャングルないの水溜まりや海辺も安心でした。

In January on Ishigaki Island, I was worried about the weather. However, whether it was due to good fortune or because one of the tour participants was a sunny person, I was able to enjoy the best starry sky. The stars viewed from a completely dark place without any streetlights were just like a planetarium. Before seeing the stars, I encountered a coconut crab, frogs, and a hermit crab, and on the way back, I saw an owl perched on a power line. The guide was also very good at storytelling, and I had a wonderful time.

が、日頃の行いが良いのか、ツアー参加者の中に晴れ〇〇〇さんがいたのか
わかりませんが、最高の星空を眺めることができました。
街灯などの灯りがまったくない真っ暗なところで見る星空はプラネタリウム
そのものでした。
星空を見る前に、ヤシガニやカエル、ヤドカリなどにも出会え、帰り道では
電線にフクロウがとまっているのが見えました。
ガイドさんもお話しが上手な方で、楽しい時間を過ごせました。

The hotel shuttle made it very easy to participate. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn't see the stars, but miraculously, the clouds cleared up during the cruise and we were able to observe the starry sky. The explanations about the stars were also easy to understand thanks to the use of a pointer.

生憎、曇りで星が見えませんでしたがクルーズしている間に奇跡的に雲がなくなり星空観察できました。
星の説明もポインターでしてくれたので分かり易かったです。

I participated with my elderly parents. The young guide was enthusiastic and made it enjoyable. Since it was a shared tour, there were two male solo travelers and one female foreign guest, but thanks to the guide, we all bonded well. The transportation service was also a deciding factor for me. I appreciated the consideration for restroom breaks at the observation deck for stargazing. Thank you very much.

若いガイドさんが、盛り上げてくれて、楽しかったです。
乗合でしたので、
男性一人旅２名、女性の外国の方１名、と若いメンバーでしたが、
ガイドさんのおかげでまとまりました。

星を観るための展望台でのトイレタイムの配慮もいただけ、

The team we joined originally had a reservation for seven people, but due to the weather not being suitable for stargazing, everyone canceled, and it was just me and my two sons who participated. However, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and even found and caught a coconut crab to show us. He was very agile and caught many creatures to show us.

The guide was lively and caught a lot of creatures, which made my first-grade son very happy! Although we couldn't see the stars, I was glad we didn't cancel.

The guide was truly great, and I heard that the tour company has other plans, so when I looked it up, I was surprised to see that all the ratings on Veltra were high. I would like to join other tours here the next time I come to Ishigaki Island!

私たちが参加したチームは、もともと7人の予約があったそうですが、星空が見えない天気で、みんなキャンセルし、私と息子２人だけで参加しました。が、ガイドさんが本当に物知りで、ヤシガニも見つけて捕まえて見せてくれて、すごくフットワーク軽くたくさんの生き物を捕まえては、見せてくれました。
ガイドさんが生き生きとして、生き物をたくさん捕まえて見せてくれるので、小学１年生の息子も大喜び！星空は見えなかったけど、キャンセルしなくてよかったと思いました。
本当にいいガイドさんだったので、このツアーの会社の他のプランもあるときいたので、調べてみたら、このveltra内の評価がどれも高くてびっくりしました。次回石垣島に来たときには、ここの他のツアーにも参加したいと思いました！

On the day, we couldn't see the starry sky, but the night safari was fun. We drove on dark roads and got to see birds that you can't see in the city, as well as coconut crabs by the seaside, creating wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

Stargazing was beautiful, unlike back home. At the night safari, I couldn't find the coconut crab, but I enjoyed interacting with various creatures.

I was looking forward to stargazing. On the day, I was happy that the weather was perfect, but when the staff who came to pick us up arrived, they first mentioned that due to the full moon, it would be difficult to see the stars, and that cancellation was possible. That was very considerate of them.

I wanted to explore at night, so of course, I decided to participate. It was a place I wouldn't have gone to on my own, as I thought it might be a bit scary, but the staff worked hard to show us various creatures, and we were able to enjoy seeing the night wildlife. Thank you very much.

当日天気は最高と喜んでましたが、その日は、綺麗な満月の夜、お迎えに来て下さったスタッフの方、先ず一言、満月のため星を見るのは難しいので、キャンセルも可能ですとの説明を頂きました。凄ーく良心的です。
夜の探索もしたいので、もちろん参加しました。自分たちでは行かない、ちょっと怖いと思う場所でしたが、スタッフの方は、一生懸命私達に色々な生き物を見せようと動いて下さり楽しい夜の生き物を見ることが出来ました。

I participated because I wanted to see the stars. Even when the stars are not visible, you can still see other creatures, so the event doesn't get canceled. I think those who are only interested in stars should pay attention to the weather before participating. However, I couldn't find a tour that focused solely on stars.

First, we went to a place to see the creatures, and then we were supposed to see the stars there. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the stars, which was disappointing, but I was taken to another location where I was able to see beautiful stars, so I was glad about that.

星が、見たくて参加しました。
星が、見れないときも他の生物見るので、中止にはならないので、星だけしか興味の無い方は、天気などを気をつけて参加されたほうがいいと思います。ただ、星だけのツアーは、見当たりませんでした。
まず、生物を見るところに行き、そこで星を見るとのことでしたが、星は見れず、残念でしたが、もう1ヵ所星を見に連れて行ってもらい、素敵な星を見れて良かったです。

The open bus with a different perspective elevated my spirits. Although it was a windy day with cloudy skies, I was able to enjoy the beautiful stars and moonlight! I was also moved by the detailed explanations and the craters I observed through the telescope. The stars I watched, illuminated by the moonlight in a quiet place where only the rustling of sugarcane could be heard, were truly enchanting.

目線が違うオープンバスは気分が高まりました。この日は風が強く雲り空でしたが綺麗な星と月光浴を楽しむことができました！丁寧な説明と望遠鏡で観たクレーターにも感動。サトウキビのざわめきしかない静かな場所で月明かりに灯されながら観察した星はとても幻想的でした。

When you think of Ishigaki Island, you think of the blue sea! However, I heard that it was designated as a "Starlight Reserve" in 2018, so this time I went to Ishigaki Island to see the "starry sky."

During my trip, unfortunately, the weather was not great, and I was feeling down thinking I might leave without seeing a single star. But on the last day, I was able to see the sunset, which made me think, "Today might just work out!" and I eagerly joined the tour.

Since I had a rental car, I chose to drive to "Starlight Farm" myself. The location of Starlight Farm is a bit hard to find, but the directions provided on their website were very clear, so I was able to get there without getting lost.

The site is a place for stargazing, so naturally, it was completely dark. The parking area was also pitch black. However, the staff kindly guided us, which quickly alleviated my anxiety.

At Starlight Farm (it was so dark that I couldn't really see what the place looked like), each person had a reclining chair prepared for them, and the moment I sat down and looked up at the sky, I was overwhelmed with emotion. Ah, I’m so glad I came to Ishigaki! Ah, I’m so glad I signed up for this tour!! I’ve never seen a starry sky like this in Tokyo...!!

There was a one-drink service with tea, and after relaxing while gazing at the star-filled sky, the staff used a laser pointer to explain the stars and share romantic stories related to them. I was captivated by their explanations, and when I used the binoculars provided for each person, I could see the stars beautifully, even more clearly than with the naked eye.

Although the weather was a bit bad, I was still able to see a stunning starry sky and the Milky Way, which became a wonderful memory.

Next time, I want to participate again when the weather is better. The starry sky changes with the seasons, so I would love to experience the stars in a different season as well.

This is a tour I want to join again and again.

石垣島といえば、青い海！ですが、
2018年に、「星空保護区」に認定されたということを聞いて、
今回は、「星空」を見に石垣島へ行きました。

旅行期間中、あいにくの天気でせっかく石垣にきたのに、
星一つ見ずに帰るのか。。。と、テンションがダウンしていた
最後の日に、どうにか夕日がみられたので、
これは、「今日はなんとかいける！」と
楽しみにツアーに参加しました。

レンタカーがあったので、「星空ファーム」まで
自身で行くパターンを選びました。
星空ファームの場所は、少々わかりづらいのですが、
ホームページに記載されていた道案内がとても分かりやすかったので、
迷うことなく行くことができました。

現地は、星を見る場所なので、当然、真っ暗闇。
駐車するスペースも真っ暗闇。
ですが、スタッフの方が
親切に誘導してくださったので、一気に不安が吹き飛びます。

星空ファームでは（真っ暗だったので、実際はどんなところだったのかは、
わかりません。）、一人一人にリクライニングチェアが
準備されていて、もうそこに座って空を見上げた瞬間に、
一気に感動が押し寄せます。
あー、石垣にきてよかった！
あー、このツアーに申し込んでよかった！！
こんな星空、東京では見たことがない。。。。。！！

ワンドリンクのお茶のサービスがあり、
満点の星空をみて、ほっとくつろぎ、
スタッフの方が、レーザーポインターを使って
星の説明、星にまつわるロマンティックなお話をしてくださるので、
それに聞き入り、
（一人一人に用意された）双眼鏡を使うと、
肉眼でもきれいに見れる星が、
また更に、よーく美しく見ることができます。

少々お天気が悪かったのですが、
それでも今までに見たことのない満点の星,　天の川を
見ることができ、
とても素敵な思い出になりました。

でも、今度はもっと天気のいい時に
また、参加したいと思います。
季節によっても星空は違うので、
違う季節の星空にもぜひ参加してみたいです。

何度でも参加したくなるツアーです。

Although there were a few more clouds than I would have liked, it was a good tour at a reasonable price. Next time, I want to see a sky full of stars in the summer.

雲が少し多く残念なところがあるがどうしようないが手頃なツアーで良かったです。次回は夏に満天な星空をみたいです
