We participated as a couple. During our stay in Ishigaki Island, there were predictions of rough seas due to a tropical depression, so after arriving in Ishigaki, we kept an eye on the weather forecast and booked the activity two days in advance for the only day that seemed to have decent weather.
There was a detailed explanation on how to wear the equipment, how to get up after entering the seawater, and the correct and incorrect methods (including what happens if you do it the wrong way), which made it easy for beginners to enjoy snorkeling with confidence.
After the general safety briefing, they kindly asked experienced participants to go ahead and enter the water, while inviting beginners who wanted to ask about the equipment to stay behind—this consideration for different skill levels was great.
This was our third time snorkeling, but since it had been three years due to the pandemic, we listened to the explanations alongside beginners. In the end, that was a good decision! There were points we had forgotten or had been doing by imitation, and last time in Miyako Island, I had a tough time swallowing seawater, but this time it was zero! (Even though the waves were a bit high!)
We snorkeled for about an hour and it ended so quickly and joyfully. I would love to experience it again. Thank you very much!
夫婦2人で参加。石垣島滞在期間中は熱帯低気圧の関係で海が荒れる予想が出ていたため、石垣島到着してから天気予報とにらめっこして唯一天気がマシそうな日を狙ってアクティビティ2日前に申し込みました。
器具の装着方法、海水に入った後の起き上がり方、正解方法とダメな方法(ダメな方法やると結果どうなるかまで)など詳細な説明があり初心者でも安心してシュノーケリングが楽しめます。
説明も全員向けの注意の後、経験者はどうぞ海へ入ってください、初心者で装着方法聞きたい人残って下さい～とそれぞれのレベルに配慮があるのも良かったです。
私たちはシュノーケリング3回目ですがコロナ禍で3年ぶりのこともあり初心者に混じって説明聞きました。結果それも良かった！今まで見よう見真似でやっていたり、忘れていたポイントもありで、前回宮古島で海水飲んで苦しい時間があったりしたのが今回はゼロ！(波が高めにもかかわらず！)
1時間半ほどシュノーケリングして、あっという間に楽しく終了。
また体験したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

I was disappointed that snorkeling was canceled, but I created memories that make me want to go again!

Due to the timing of the tides, we experienced 16 types of marine sports in the morning and an afternoon snorkeling tour at Ishinai Reef. There were many young couples, and they really enjoyed trying out activities like the banana boat and other marine sports. The snorkeling in the afternoon was well-organized; after returning to the port for lunch, we split into groups to head to either Ishinai Reef or the Blue Cave. I thought this system was convenient and effective. The snorkeling at Ishinai Reef was accessible from the boat and I believe both beginners and intermediate participants can enjoy it fully. The coral reefs and variety of fish were abundant and very beautiful!
潮の干潮時間の都合で、午前中16種のマリンスポーツ体験、午後石西礁湖シュノーケリングツアーでした。若いカップルさんが多く、バナナボートやマリンスポーツにガンガン、トライして楽しんできました。午後のシュノーケリングは一旦、港に帰ってお弁当を食べた後、午後から石西礁湖に行く人や青の洞窟に行く人に分かれて再編成して出発になるシステムは便利で良いと思いました。石西礁湖シュノーケリングはボートからのエントリーで初心者から中級の人が充分楽しめると思います。サンゴ礁や魚の種類が豊富でとてもきれいでした！

My first time in Ishigaki Island and my first time on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) was a wonderful experience thanks to my guide, Moepi! I learned not only how to ride the SUP but also interesting facts about the types of mangroves, corals, and various spots. The time was filled with various activities, including yoga on the SUP, making it very fulfilling! Moepi really energized the group, and I was able to connect with other participants, making it the best experience ever! I definitely want to come back to Ishigaki and do this again!
初めての石垣島、初めてのsupでしたが、ガイドのもえぴちゃんと一緒に楽しい時間を過ごすことができました！supの乗り方はもちろん、マングローブの種類や珊瑚、その他スポットでの豆知識と、sup上のヨガなどさまざまなコンテンツがあり非常に充実した時間を過ごせました！

I'm glad we were able to do it safely despite the not-so-great weather! We enjoyed a relaxing time paddleboarding at a beach that we wouldn't normally reach. Carrying the board from the parking lot to the beach was a bit of a distance, which might be tough for women. I think the scenery would have been even better if the weather had been nice!

I was disappointed to hear the day before that we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to the wind, as we were supposed to do stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling there at Kabira Bay. However, we had an amazing experience at the snorkeling spot we went to instead, where we saw four sea turtles! It turned out to be the best tour without any issues. Our kind guide, Saito, took a lot of pictures for us, and the hamburger and spam rice balls he recommended were incredibly delicious! Thank you so much! I received a lot of information and now I want to visit Ishigaki Island again, and I would love to join a tour with a specific request! I really appreciate everything. It was an incredibly fun time! ✌️
川平湾でサップ＆青の洞窟シュノーケルのはずが風の影響で青の洞窟に行けないと前日連絡がありガッカリしていましたが、代わりに行ったシュノーケルポイントでウミガメを4匹も見れる貴重な体験ができ、全く問題なく最高のツアーになりました。

I had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Mr. Kimura. I was able to see creatures that I normally wouldn't see, and at night on the beach, I could gaze at the starry sky, which was a precious experience! If I come to Ishigaki Island again, I definitely want to participate!

Despite it being a same-day reservation, the staff called us right after we booked and kindly explained what to bring and the flow of the day.
I had no experience with SUP, but they patiently taught me how to paddle and ride, and I had a great time. Afterward, they recommended a local restaurant, allowing us to enjoy our evening as well. Since it was likely a beginner's course, I thought I would like to try a more challenging course next time I visit Ishigaki Island. Ishigaki Island is amazing!
綺麗な海を見て、日頃の疲れを癒したいと思い、彼氏と計画した石垣島旅行。
事前に色々調べた結果、現地で予約して行こうと言うことになりました。
中心街で飲んだくれて前日まで予約せず、結局当日になってからギリギリで予約しました。
当日の予約だったにもかかわらず、予約してからすぐにスタッフの方が電話を下さり、持ち物や来てからの流れを丁寧に説明していただきました。
SUP未経験でしたが、漕ぎ方、乗り方等を丁寧に教えてくださり、非常に楽しめました。
また、終わった後に地元在住のスタッフさんのオススメのご飯屋さんを教えてもらい、その日の夜も楽しむことができました。
おそらく初心者向けのコースだったので、次回、石垣島に行く時はもう少し難易度の高いコースに参加したいと思いました。

I took my 3-year-old and 5-year-old children with me. During the car ride to and from the tour, the guide shared various stories that kept the atmosphere lively, but my younger child fell into a deep sleep due to the late hour and slept through half of the tour (laughs). My timid older child was scared of the night jungle but still went on the exploration. The guide found two coconut crabs for us and showed us various insects and the beautiful starry sky. Although the children were frightened, I think experiencing the vitality and intensity of the night jungle was a valuable experience.
3歳と5歳の子どもを連れて行きました。行き帰りの車ではガイドさんが色んなお話をしてくれて盛り上げてくれましたが、下の子は時間が遅いのもあって爆睡してしまい、ツアー半ばまで寝てしまいました（苦笑）
ビビりの上の子は夜のジャングルに怖いと言いながら探検。ガイドさんがヤシガニを二匹も見つけてくれたり、色んな虫や綺麗な星空をみせてくれました。子どもは怖がってましたが、夜のジャングルの生命力や迫力を肌で感じるのも良い経験だったと思います。

The phantom island was truly wonderful, living up to its name. I was worried about the weather, but we were able to enjoy stunning views with some breaks of sunshine along the way. The sea was more beautiful than in Hawaii or Guam.
The afternoon marine sports were a lot of fun for my high school son and middle school daughter, as well as for us, a couple in our fifties! There was a heavy rain at one point that almost brought our spirits down, but the staff kept things lively and fun during that time, which made it enjoyable. The rain stopped quickly, and we resumed the activities! The staff really went all out to ensure we had a great time, creating wonderful memories. Everyone was kind and had a pleasant demeanor. Thank you so much!
As for what to bring, I forgot to pack drinks, so those participating in the future should be careful! (There are no vending machines near the departure point, so you can't buy anything.)
幻の島はその名に負けないくらい素晴らしかったです。天気が心配でしたが、途中晴れ間も見え、絶景を楽しめました。ハワイよりもグアムよりもきれいな海でした。
午後のマリンスポーツも、高校生の息子や中学生の娘はもちろん、私たちアラフィフ夫婦もとても楽しめました！途中大雨が降ってしまいテンション下がりそうになりましたが、スタッフさんがその間を楽しく明るく盛り上げてくださり、楽しめました。すぐに雨も止み、アクティビティ再開！とにかくスタッフさんが全力で楽しませくれたので、とても良い思い出となりました。みんな親切で好感の持てるステキな人たちでした。本当にありがとうございました！
持ち物として、飲み物を忘れてしまったので、これから参加される方は気をつけて下さい！(船が出航する付近では自販機などもなく、買えません)

It was very helpful to have transportation to the hotel. The staff were all very kind, and the atmosphere of the tour was great. I enjoyed hearing various stories. They also carefully taught us how to use the equipment. While swimming in the sea, they moved around while always paying attention to us participants. We were able to see beautiful corals and fish at each point because they helped us find various creatures. I was very happy when the fish came close. After arriving at the hotel, we had a delicious bento. I am truly grateful. If I come to Ishigaki Island again, I will definitely participate again.

We kayaked up and down the Miyara River. My spouse and I participated, and thanks to the wonderful personality of our guide, we were able to enjoy a great atmosphere with the other participants. It wasn't just their personality; they also had a wealth of knowledge and answered all our questions about what we saw perfectly. I was truly impressed. After the experience, they also introduced us to recommended gourmet spots on Ishigaki Island, and I appreciated hearing the subjective opinions of a local resident. I participated in the Kayaking Tour at Kabira Bay and snorkeling at the Blue Cave. Kabira Bay was very clear and calm, a place where I could find peace of mind. The snorkeling was also amazing. I often snorkel abroad, but I was surprised by the beauty of Kabira Bay! The corals are so colorful! I want to go again!
