Due to the weather the day before, we went snorkeling at a different location (I forgot the name) instead of the Blue Cave.
The handsome guide made sure we had fun throughout the tour, and we were very satisfied.
They took photos of the underwater scenery and of us paddleboarding from above, which allows us to look back on these wonderful memories.
If you haven't decided on lunch, the guide will recommend good restaurants, so there's no need to worry.
I'm glad I booked this tour! Thank you, Yudai!
～For those making a reservation, here are some tips～
- The schedule may be reversed (it was snorkeling first, then paddleboarding!).
- There will be about two hours of free time until the afternoon activities, so depending on your accommodation, it's a good idea to wear clothes that can get wet. Even though it was December, the sun helped us dry off fairly quickly.
- Sandals or shoes that can get wet are recommended.
- There is no towel rental, so don't forget to bring your own.
前日のお天気の影響により、青の洞窟ではなく別の場所（名前を忘れてしまいました）で、シュノーケルしました。
イケメンお兄さんが終始楽しくなるよう工夫してくださり大満足のツアーでした。
絶対に自分たちでは撮ることのできない海の中や、真上からsupをしている姿も撮ってくださるので、楽しい思い出を振り返ることができます。
お昼が決まっていない方は、お兄さんがおすすめのご飯屋さん教えてくださるので心配要りません。

・スケジュールが逆になることがあります。（シュノーケル→supでした！）
・午後のアクティビティまでは2時間程自由行動になるので、宿泊先にもよりますが、濡れたままを想定した服装を心掛けるとよいと思います。12月でしたが日差しで割と乾きました。
・靴はサンダルか濡れても良いものがおすすめです。

The starry sky was very beautiful, and I was able to see the Milky Way, Orihime, and Hikoboshi. I also saw shooting stars! From the car, I think I saw a Japanese scops owl? I was able to see a small owl three times, and there were fireflies flying around, and we even found firefly larvae. Additionally, the staff caught a habu snake and a coconut crab, making for a truly rare experience!

車の中からはコノハズクでしたか？小さいフクロウが3度も見れましたし、蛍が飛んでいたり蛍の幼虫も見つけてくれました。

During my stay in Ishigaki Island, the weather forecast predicted cloudy or rainy conditions, so I made a reservation in the afternoon after checking the situation. At the meeting point, the guide explained, "I think the chances of seeing the starry sky are quite low," and we set off.
On the jungle tour, the guide caught a small coconut crab for us to observe up close. We also encountered hermit crabs and other crabs. Other participants in the tour also discovered coconut crabs.
On the way back in the car, the guide found and caught a habu snake, allowing us to see it up close. I was amazed at how he found a habu in such a dark place.

ジャングルツアーでは小さいサイズのヤシガニをガイドさんが捕まえてくれて間近で観察。ヤドカリやカニにも出会えました。一緒にツアー参加した方もヤシガニを発見してました。
車に乗って戻る途中でガイドさんがハブを見つけ捕まえたので間近でハブを見ることができました。よくこんな暗いところでハブを見つけたな、と驚きでした。
市街地へ向かう途中で雲の隙間から星が見えてきたので、少し寄り道をして星空鑑賞もできました。星は見れないと諦めていたのでこれはとてもうれしかったです。
車で移動中はガイドさんがたくさん話をしてくれたりいろんな動物を見つけてくれたりしたので飽きることなく。全体を通してとても楽しい時間を過ごしました。

During my stay in Ishigaki Island, the weather was poor. As a result of the explanation I received over the phone about the possibility of seeing the starry sky and wildlife, I changed my reservation from the originally planned date. I appreciated that they considered the weather right up until the last minute before the tour started.
The tour was fantastic. I was very satisfied to see the coconut crab, the owl, and the land crab. Although I couldn't see the stars due to the cloudy sky, it was enjoyable to see fireflies that were out of season.
Including the phone support, all the staff were very pleasant. They were always polite and attentive. Their explanations about the wildlife were also well done, making it enjoyable to listen to them.
石垣島に滞在期間、天候が不良でした。星空や生き物が見られる可能性をあらかじめ電話で説明していただいた結果、当初予定していた日から予約を変更しました。開始前ギリギリまで天候を考慮してもらえるので、ありがたかったです。
ツアーは最高でした。ヤシガニ、コノハズク、オカガニなど見られて大満足です。曇り空のため星は見られませんでしたが、季節外れの蛍も見られて楽しかったです。
電話対応含めて、スタッフの皆様とても感じが良かったです。都度、丁寧に対応していただきました。生き物の説明も上手にしてくれるので、お話を聞くのも楽しかったです。

On the day of the activity, due to the typhoon, the sea conditions were poor, and we couldn't do SUP or snorkeling at the planned locations. However, they chose a safe place to conduct the activities. The staff was very considerate, engaging with everyone during the activity and even in the shuttle, creating a friendly atmosphere. They also provided explanations about the nature and wildlife of Ishigaki Island during the activities, making for a fun and fulfilling day. I was able to see a lot of creatures. Not only did I get to see them, but the guide also caught some for us, so we could actually touch and hold them. Additionally, we learned various interesting facts about the creatures, making the tour very fulfilling.
Throughout the search for creatures and during our travels, the guide shared many stories, so I was never bored and had a great time. The main focus was the jungle night tour, but we also got to see the starry sky and the night view of Ishigaki Island, and the guide provided explanations about the stars, which made me satisfied with the stargazing experience.
I couldn't see it myself, but I heard that if you have a lucky guide, they might catch a habu snake with their bare hands to show you, so those who got to see that must feel very lucky.

ただ生き物を見るだけではなく、ガイドのお兄さんが捕まえて下さったので実際に触ったり持ったりもできました。さらに、生き物に関する豆知識なども教えて頂き、とても充実したツアーを回ることができました。

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the stargazing experience ended up being disappointing, but I was able to encounter many rare creatures that do not inhabit Honshu. Since it was winter, I was worried that there would be fewer animals, but that was not the case. I was able to see the Ryukyu Scops Owl, coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and even scorpions.

Due to a full flight, we arrived in Ishigaki at 5:30 PM. I wanted to include activities on the day we arrived, so I signed up for a stargazing and night safari tour. My impression is simply that it was a great decision! The weather was nice, the stars were truly beautiful, and we could even see the Milky Way. During the night safari, we encountered natural animals like the "Japanese scops owl, habu snake, hermit crab, bat, and firefly," which was surprisingly amazing. My daughter, who had been saying she was tired and sleepy during the stargazing, suddenly became super excited when she met the hermit crab and habu snake during the night safari. The guide mentioned that they hadn't seen a habu in over three months, and we all felt lucky to be part of the tour. Since these are natural encounters, we can't guarantee seeing them every time, but with a friendly guide and the chance to meet Ishigaki's wildlife, we were able to start our trip with wonderful memories. ついたその日もアクティビティを入れたいと思い、申し込んだ星空観賞&ナイトサファリ。感想は、申し込んでよかった！の一言。
お天気もよく、星空も本当に美しく天の川もみることができましたし、ナイトサファリでは「コノハミミズク/ハブ/ヤドカリ/コウモリ/ホタルなど」天然の動物とビックリするぐらい遭遇しました。星空観光では、疲れた。眠いを連発していた娘も、ナイトサファリでヤドカリやハブなどと出会って、いきなりテンションマックス。ハブは、最近では3か月以上遭遇できていないというガイドさんの話で、ラッキーとツアー参加者一同で感じていました。
天然のものですので、毎回あえるかは分かりませんが、感じの良いガイドさんと、石垣の生き物との出会いで、旅行初日を素敵な思い出作りからスタートをきれました。ありがとうございます。

Originally, we had planned to do SUP at Kabira Bay and snorkeling at the Blue Cave, but due to high waves, we quickly changed to SUP in the mangroves and landing on the Phantom Island for snorkeling.
As a result, it turned out to be a very satisfying tour!
The staff were very kind and shared a lot of detailed information about the island, making me want to visit the outer islands next time.

元々川平湾のSUPと青の洞窟シュノーケリングの予定でしたが、波が高いということで急遽マングローブでのSUPと幻の島上陸＆シュノーケリングに変更となりました。
結果的に、とても満足いくツアーになりました！
スタッフの皆さんがとても親切で島のことを詳しく色々と教えてくださって、次は離島にも行ってみたいと思いました。
幻の島は本当に綺麗で感動しました！
写真撮影の無料サービスがあるの、本当に嬉しいです。
ポーズの提案もしてもらえて、同じような写真ばかりにならないのも良かったです。
しかも200枚近く送ってもらえてびっくりしました。
案内してくださった久保さんが22歳の若さで船長をされており、シュノーケリングでヒトデやウミガメを見つけてくれたのも楽しかったです。

Honestly, I signed up for this tour looking forward to the starry sky, but on the day of the tour, it was cloudy and I was disappointed that I could hardly see any stars. However, during the drive, the jungle tour, and the mountain roads to see the night view, the tour guide shared many interesting stories, making it such a fun tour that I almost forgot about not being able to see the stars! Thank you very much!

Due to the weather, the snorkeling and SUP activity was changed to mangrove SUP, but I found the calm mangroves to be very soothing! The staff member's talk about Ishigaki Island was very easy to understand and sparked my interest in nature. They also shared various recommendations for shops and famous stargazing spots on Ishigaki Island, making my trip very enjoyable! If you're going to make a reservation, do it here!

A leisurely paddle on the surface of the water while enjoying the view of Kabira Bay offers an elegant experience that you can't find in everyday life. Although I struggled a bit against the headwind while stand-up paddleboarding, the beautiful scenery made the fatigue disappear!

At the beginning of the tour, I was disappointed because the stars were hidden by clouds and hard to see, but the staff shared stories about the stars and found creatures like coconut crabs, stick insects, and fireflies like hunters. I was excited to see so many creatures for the first time. Since we couldn't see many stars, they took us to a beautiful spot where we could enjoy the night view of Ishigaki Island instead. The staff's service and lively personality added to the experience, making it a very enjoyable and fulfilling tour!
ツアーが始まった当初は、星が雲に隠れてあまり見れずガッカリでしたが、スタッフさんが星にまつわる話しをしてくれたり、ハンターの様にヤシガニやナナフシ、ホタル等見つけてれました。

It was my first time doing SUP, so I was anxious and nervous about whether I could do it well, but I gradually got used to it and was able to enjoy SUP! This was my first time in Ishigaki Island! Due to the flight schedule, I could only participate at night.
The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, and I was lucky enough to see shooting stars!!
I was also moved to see half of the coconut crab!
I didn't think I would be very interested in bugs, but surprisingly, I enjoyed it!!!
The guide was very kind and taught us a lot, so it was educational!
However, there were some very loud guests, and I wanted to enjoy it quietly, which was a bit disappointing. 😢

Due to strong winds on the day, we were informed in advance about the change of location and went from Kabira Bay to Miyara River. I participated alone. I came to Ishigaki for diving, but I thought I would try something different and joined this activity. In the end, I really felt that it was a good decision to participate. It was cloudy, so I couldn't see the starry sky, but I was able to see the sparkling night view of Ishigaki city and learn about various marine life! There were so many things I saw for the first time. There were fireflies, and I was surprised because it was my first time seeing such fireflies; it completely changed my previous image... The frogs were cute too!

石垣にはダイビングをしに来たのですが、違うこともしようと思って参加致しました。
結果、ほんとに参加して良かったと思いました。

I participated because I felt it would be a waste to end my solo trip by just going out for drinks at night. I thought it might be geared towards children, but I was able to hear various stories about Ishigaki and see some rare creatures. It was a pity that we couldn't see the stars due to the weather, but thanks to the bright and enthusiastic staff, it became a wonderful memory of my trip.

On the day of our outing, the weather was a bit uncertain due to an approaching typhoon, but they adjusted the plan with safety in mind, and we had a great time. With a small group and care for those with less experience, I believe everyone enjoyed themselves! We participated as a group of four, and they took over 50 photos just for us, making for a fulfilling SUP experience. I would love to join again next time. Thank you!

I have visited Ishigaki Island before, but this was my first time participating in the night safari. Unfortunately, it was drizzling, so we couldn't enjoy stargazing, but instead, we were taken to the beautiful night view at Banna Park! During the night safari, I was able to see many rare creatures unique to the Yaeyama Islands, such as coconut crabs, black-breasted leaf turtles, and Ryukyu scops owls. I was surprised to encounter so many of them. The guide was also cheerful and a great storyteller, making it a fun tour.
石垣島には以前訪れたことがあるのですが、ナイトサファリは今回初めて参加しました。
あいにく小雨が降っており、星空鑑賞はできませんでしたが、そのかわりバンナ公園の素敵な夜景に連れていっていただきました！
ナイトサファリではヤシガニやセマルハコガメ、リュウキュウコノハズクなど八重山固有の珍しい生き物をたくさん見ることができました。こんなに出会えるとは思わなかったのでびっくりしました。

I participated in a half-day SUP tour. They picked me up from the hotel on time, and we headed to Kabira by shared transport. During the ride, I learned various things about Ishigaki Island and delicious restaurants, which made the journey enjoyable. It was my first time doing SUP, but they provided a thorough briefing, so I was able to enjoy it without any issues. In areas with waves, they offered towing assistance, so I think even those without much stamina can participate with confidence. In the areas with high visibility, I could see the fish swimming. This time, the wind was strong, and I couldn't stand up much, so I want to join again and have a rematch! Thank you, instructor Furusawa, for the fun time. You took many wonderful photos, which became the best memories.

時間通りにホテルにお迎えに来ていただき乗り合いで川平に向かいました。
車内では石垣島のこと、美味しいお店のことなどいろいろなことを教えていただき楽しく過ごすことができました。
SUPは初めてだったのですがきちんとレクチャーをしていただけるので問題なく楽しむことができました。途中波があるところでは牽引してもらえるので体力がない方でも安心して参加できると思います。
透明度が高いところでは泳ぐ魚の姿も見えました、今回は風が強くあまり立つことができなかったのでまた参加してリベンジしたいと思います！
インストラクターの古澤さん、楽しい時間をありがとうございました。ステキなお写真もたくさん撮っていただき最高の思い出になりました。
