I was so excited to encounter the coconut crab that I had been hoping to see! The guide's explanations were also interesting, and I became a fan of coconut crabs! Haha!

Kenken's guide was kind to the children, full of service spirit, and it was a wonderful tour. The kids were thrilled to see sea snakes, fireflies, many insects, creatures like coconut crabs, and the starry sky of Ishigaki Island for the first time. I have experienced various tours before, but this one was number one!

ケンケンのガイドは子供たちに優しく、サービス精神旺盛で素敵なツアーでした。ウミヘビやホタル、たくさんの虫に、ヤシガニなどの生き物、初めての石垣島の星空が見れて子供達は大興奮でした。
今まで色々なツアーを体験しましたが、今回がナンバーワンでした！

On my first trip to Ishigaki Island, I participated in a tour because my second-grade son loves living creatures, and I wanted to see the coconut crab as well.

The tour location was far from the city, in a place that truly felt like a jungle, where you would never have the chance to enter without a tour guide.

It was enjoyable to see various creatures along the way and hear detailed explanations, but above all, the sense of security that came from being with a guide who knows the jungle inside and out was wonderful. This is definitely an experience you can’t have without going on a tour, so I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

I would love to join the tour again the next time I visit Ishigaki Island.

石垣島への初旅行で、小2の息子が生き物好きで自分もヤシガニを見てみたかったので参加した。

ツアーの場所は市街地から遠く離れた、まさにジャングルというような場所で、ツアーガイドさんと一緒じゃないと絶対に立ち入る機会がないような場所だった。

道中色んな生き物が見れて詳しい解説が聞けるのも楽しいですし、なによりジャングルを知り尽くしているガイドさんと一緒という安心感が素晴らしかった。これは間違いなくツアーに行かないと体験できないので、悩んでいる人には是非おすすめしたい。

次に石垣島に行く時もまた参加したい。

It was truly amazing to see such rare creatures. The explanations were thorough and easy to understand, and the guide's love for the animals really came through, making it a lot of fun!

珍しい生き物見えてほんとに最高でした。説明も丁寧で、分かりやすく、あとガイドさんの生き物愛が伝わってとても楽しかったです！

The night jungle was more exciting than I imagined, and I was thrilled to see many creatures that I usually don't get to see. The guide's explanations were enjoyable, making it a very valuable experience.

The outline of the moon was clear, and the stars were beautiful. I never got bored during the ride thanks to the tour guide's extensive knowledge.

This was my first time participating, and I felt truly cared for from start to finish, which allowed me to enjoy the experience with peace of mind. I learned a lot about the ocean, making it a special experience that was more than just swimming. They took many photos and videos, creating memories that will last a lifetime. I definitely want to participate again!

I participated in the jungle night tour, and it was more impressive than I expected! The coconut crab I encountered in the darkness was much larger than I imagined, and I was overwhelmed by its strength. Also, when I looked up, the starry sky was filled with so many stars that it felt like they might spill over, and it was breathtakingly beautiful. The guide's explanations were thorough, making it an unforgettable and amazing night!

ジャングルナイトツアーに参加しましたが、期待以上の大迫力でした！暗闇の中で遭遇したヤシガニは、想像よりもずっと大きく、その力強さに圧倒されました。また、ふと見上げた星空は、こぼれ落ちそうなほど満天の星で、言葉を失うほどの美しさです。ガイドさんの解説も丁寧で、忘れられない最高の夜になりました！

Despite the unfortunate weather, I participated with a faint hope, but I couldn't see the stars after all. However, our guide Kenken worked hard to find coconut crabs and shared many stories about the creatures of Ishigaki, as well as information about stars and constellations, which made me feel a deep love for Ishigaki. ♥ In the end, we also got to see fireflies, which left me extremely satisfied. I definitely want to come back for a revenge trip to see the starry sky!

あいにくのお天気の中、微かな希望を持って参加しましたが、やっぱり星は見られずでした。でも、ガイドのケンケンさんが、一生懸命にヤシガニを見つけてくれたり、石垣の生き物の話や、星や星座の事などたくさん教えてくれて、石垣への愛をたっぷり感じさせてもらいました♥
最後にホタルも見送ってくれて、大大満足でした。また、星空を見にリベンジしたいと思います！

I thought we could just look at the stars in a dark place by ourselves, but I'm glad we decided to join the tour. Not only did we hear stories about constellations and how what we can see changes with the seasons, but we also got to observe in a truly dark setting, which was incredibly moving. The staff was friendly, and we had a great time!

The night in Ishigaki has a different face, and I was excited by the contrast with the daytime ( ˊᵕˋ ). As I ventured into the unique nature of the Yaeyama Islands, I was able to see cute hermit crabs and coconut crabs! They all showed their adorable faces, and I couldn't help but get excited the whole time. I want to go on another adventure with a flashlight! Next time, I want to see the stars, so I want to make a comeback (*'ω'*).

八重山独自の自然を突き進めばかわいいヤドカリやヤシガニが見られました！みんなかわいい顔を見せてくれて終始はしゃいでしまいました。

I was glad to be able to walk safely through the jungle with the guide's stories, which I wouldn't have been able to do on my own. It was great to see precious animals and plants as well. Personally, I thought it would have been better if we had a bit more time to stargaze. Since we only had time before entering the jungle, I think it would be more enjoyable if we could be taken to a clearing where we could see a sky full of stars.

ガイドさんのお話と共に、自分では行くことが出来ないジャングルの中を安全に歩くことが出来て良かったです。貴重な動物や植物も見ることが出来、良かったです。
個人的には、もう少し星を見る時間が長ければ良いと思いました。ジャングルに入る前の時間しかなかったので、一面の星が見える広場などに連れていって貰えるともっと楽しめると思います。

The perfect stars were impressive, but the coconut crab that the staff caught was surprisingly large, surprisingly heavy, and since it hardly moved, I was able to observe it closely.

満点の星も見ごたえありましたが、スタッフの方が捕まえたヤシガニが、意外と大きく、意外と重く、でも殆ど動かないので、じっくり見ることができました。

We were lucky to have great weather, but even more so, the organization was fantastic. Safety in the dark was thoroughly ensured, allowing us to enjoy ourselves calmly throughout. The lecture about the starry sky was detailed, making it easy to enjoy even without prior knowledge. I appreciate the attention to detail. I definitely want to do this again.

天気に恵まれてラッキーでしたが、それ以上に進行が素晴らしかったです。暗闇での安全確保が徹底されており、終始落ち着いて楽しめました。星空についてのレクチャーが丁寧なのね、知識がなくてもすぐに楽しめます。細部まで行き届いた配慮に感謝。また必ずお願いしたいです。

I love coconut crabs and hermit crabs, so when I came to Ishigaki Island, I absolutely wanted to see the elusive coconut crab, so I signed up for this tour!

When the lights went out, we entered the pitch-black jungle, guided by a bright, handsome, and fun (this is quite important) guide. We set off on the jungle night tour!!!

We encountered land hermit crabs, baby coconut crabs, giant crab spiders, and hermit crabs... and finally, the long-awaited coconut crab (since it's out of season, the big ones are hard to find)! I was so excited that I ended up having more fun than the kids.

Everyone who participated in the tour was friendly, and we all got along well while exploring! The weather was bad, so we couldn't see the starry sky, but I definitely want to try again 😊.

We participated at the request of our 5 and 7-year-old children. Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions, we couldn't encounter the coconut crab, but our guide, Misaki, found and explained many creatures and plants of Ishigaki Island while we explored, which got the kids really excited.

In places where the footing was poor, we were very grateful for the care shown towards the children, as she helped them along. Additionally, along the way, she shared various information about Ishigaki Island, the surrounding islands, and recommended restaurants, which gave us many places we want to visit!

We would love to try again when the weather conditions are better!

残念ながら気候条件が悪くヤシガニには出会えませんでしたが、ガイドの美咲さんが、たくさんの石垣島の生き物や植物を見つけて説明しながら散策してくださり、子供たち大興奮でした。
足もとが悪い場所では子供たちを気にかけて頂き、手を引いて頂いたりと大変ありがたかったです。
また、道中では石垣島のこと、離島のこと、オススメのレストランなどなど色々なことを教えて頂き、行きたい場所がたくさん出来ました！
また気候条件の良いときにリベンジしたいです！

Unfortunately, this time I couldn't find the coconut crab, but I was excited while searching for it. Walking through the jungle at night was something I had never done before, and it was a very refreshing and valuable experience. Although the stargazing wasn't perfect due to the weather, I was still able to see a beautiful night sky. I would like to try again the next time I come to Ishigaki Island.

During the transfer from Ishigaki Port Terminal to the tour location and back, the guide recommended some local dishes and shared information about Ishigaki Island and the Yaeyama Islands, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

残念ながら、今回は、ヤシガニを見つけることができませんでしたが、ワクワクしながら探すことができました。また、夜にジャングルの中を歩くというのは、やったことがなく、とても新鮮な経験であり、貴重な体験でした。また、星空鑑賞も天候の関係で、満天の星とはいかないまでも、綺麗な星空を見られました。また、今度石垣島に来た時には、再挑戦したいです。
石垣港ターミナルから、ツアーする現地に、現地から石垣港ターミナルに移動する際の車では、ガイドさんがご飯のおすすめや、石垣島についてのことや、八重山諸島のことも教えてくださり、旅がもっと楽しくなると思いました。

On the day of the event, I was worried that I might be alone, but when I arrived at the remote island terminal (the meeting place), I was surprised (and relieved) to see over 20 participants. The weather was slightly cloudy, so we couldn't see many stars, but we split into four to five groups, with one guide for every six to seven participants. Equipped with rubber boots (to protect against Habu snakes) and flashlights, we searched for creatures in the forest (jungle). After a while, the guide discovered a coconut crab, and we even got to take a commemorative photo with it. We also spotted a tiny scorpion, and it was a lot of fun! ☺️

当日は、自分１人ではないか？、と心配しながら、離島ターミナル(集合場所)に行きましたが、参加者が２０人以上いてビックリ(安心)しました。天気は、薄曇りで星はあまり見えなかったけど、４から５グループに別れて、ガイド１人に参加者６～7名で、森(ジャングル)のなかに長靴(ハブ対策)にペンライトをもって、生き物探し、しばらくしてヤシガニをガイドさんが発見し、記念撮までしてもらえました。ちっちゃいサソリも見えて、とても楽しかったです☺️。

I'm glad I was able to see creatures and plants I've never seen before. The guide who led the tour was cheerful, and the atmosphere was great, making it a lot of fun! I saw the most beautiful star I've ever seen in my life. 🌠

Although I couldn't meet the coconut crab and the sky was cloudy, it was great to see the sea snake since it was low tide. I would like to try again if I have the chance. The guide shared various charms of Ishigaki Island on the way back, which was very informative. Thank you very much.

I'm so glad I went! The weather was great, which contributed to the perfect conditions, but the starry sky was the best I've ever seen in my life, with countless stars against the pitch-black sky. I saw more stars than in a planetarium.

Unfortunately, we didn't see any coconut crabs during the exploration, but it was a unique and fun experience that we couldn't have done alone, as the night jungle would have been too scary to navigate by ourselves. Thank you for the tour!

行って大正解でした！天気が良くて最高の条件だった事もあるけど、真っ暗な空に満天の星で、長年生きてきた中で1番の星空でした。
プラネタリウムよりも多い星を見ました

探検では残念ながらヤシガニは見れませんでしたが、自分たちだけでは夜の茂みは怖くてまわれないしとても貴重で楽しかったです。

An extraordinary night experience. The scale of the starry sky was simply amazing, and I was also moved by the creatures I discovered deep in the jungle. The flow was well-organized, which made me feel at ease.

I felt a close connection to nature, experiencing the presence of living creatures up close while also enjoying the vastness of the starry sky. The smooth progression of the experience was impressive.

自然との距離が近いと感じた　生き物の存在を間近に感じ、星空の広がりも同時に楽しめました。無理のない進行が印象的でした。

There was a moment when time seemed to stand still. The tranquility of looking up at the starry sky was striking, and I felt the depth of the jungle even more. The calm support was reassuring.

時間が止まったように感じた瞬間があった　星空を見上げたときの静けさが印象的で、ジャングルの奥行きも深く感じました。落ち着いたサポートが心強かったです。

It wasn't a perfect starry sky, but the stars we saw for a moment were amazing. Woody also worked hard to find coconut crabs and various other creatures. It was a great experience.

I participated with my grandparents in their 60s and my 4-year-old son. Woody, our guide, took more time than other teams for both the creature search and the starry sky photography. When we finally found a coconut crab, everyone applauded! My 4-year-old son seemed to really enjoy this tour and was the first to share his memories with his preschool teacher. Thank you very much!

I participated because my 6-year-old son loves insects and creatures. He was super excited even before the night exploration began. We were lucky with the weather and got to see coconut crabs and natural owls. The starry sky was beyond our imagination, and it seems my son's interest in stars and space has broadened as well. Every time I visit Ishigaki Island, I've signed up for a different stargazing tour, but it always got canceled due to bad weather. This time, I booked a tour to see the stars from a boat for the first time.

Before boarding, I was worried because there were clouds and I thought we might not see anything, but as we set sail, the clouds quickly cleared, and we were able to see a sky full of stars. We moved by boat to a dark area near Taketomi Island where there were no lights, and the guide provided a detailed explanation of the stars.

Even if the stars were not visible due to clouds, we could enjoy cruising while listening to the sanshin, which made for a very pleasant experience. The performance was excellent. I highly recommend it. Please note that there are no restrooms on the boat, so I recommend using the restroom before departure. The staff at the shop will also give you a heads-up, so if you go at that time, you can use the restroom just before we set sail, which is reassuring.

石垣島に来る度に別の星空ツアーに申し込んでいましたが、いつも悪天候のため中止になっていました。今回初めて船から星空を見るツアーを申し込みました。
船に乗る前は雲があり見えないかなーと不安なまま出航しましたが、みるみるうちに雲が晴れて満天の星空を見ることができました。竹富島の方まで船で移動して灯りがない真っ暗なところで星空の説明を丁寧にしてくれます。
万が一雲で星が見られなくてもクルージングしながら三線聴くことができてとても心地よい時間でした。とても上手でした。ぜひおすすめです。船にはトイレがありません。出港前にトイレに行くことをお勧めします。お店のスタッフからも説明があるのでそのタイミングで行くと出航前ギリギリにトイレに行けるので安心です。
