I was amazed by the clarity of the water during my first snorkeling experience! There were so many colorful fish, and I even got to see a sea turtle and take photos with it. It became a wonderful memory!

This time, I participated in a tour for SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) and sea turtle snorkeling! The tour guide, Hiro, explained everything in a very friendly and easy-to-understand manner, so I was able to get on the board right away, even as a beginner! He also took a lot of photos for us, and we were blessed with great weather, which made it very enjoyable✨

During the snorkeling, I was able to see many beautiful fish, corals, and sea turtles in the stunning ocean🐢. I got to see them up close and even took pictures together! Since it was the end of January, the temperature was a bit low and it was a little chilly, but the tour was very fulfilling as we learned a lot about the ocean around Miyako Island.

I was amazed to see sea turtles and a variety of tropical fish just a short distance from the beach (though I don't have any photos...). The area is relatively shallow, so the fish are quite close, making it feel like you're swimming in a large aquarium. It's a tour that you can easily enjoy right by the beach without having to venture out into the open ocean.

However, there weren't any photos of the many beautiful fish in the data I received, so I wish they had taken pictures of other fish besides just the sea turtles and clownfish. That way, I could have shared the beauty of this beach with my friends.

The canoeing in the afternoon was perfect for leisurely enjoying the sparkling water and the beautiful Miyako Blue. If you want to enjoy the scenery, I personally recommend canoeing over stand-up paddleboarding, as it allows you to explore further.

ビーチから少し入っただけでウミガメなや多種多様な熱帯魚を見られるとは思っていなかったので感動の嵐でした(写真はありませんが...)。比較的浅瀬のエリアなので魚との距離も近く、まるで大きな水族館の中で泳いでいる気分。外洋まで出ずともビーチ際で手軽に楽しめるツアーです。
ただ、沢山の美しい魚の写真は送られてきたデータには一枚もなかったので、ウミガメとクマノミだけでなく、他の魚も撮っていただければ、こちらのビーチの美しさを友人たちにも伝えることができたなあと思います。
昼からのカヌーは、キラキラ輝く水面、宮古ブルーをのんびり楽しむには最適。景色を楽しみたい方は、サップよりぐるっと遠くまで探検できるカヌーが個人的にはおすすめです。

It had been a long time since I went snorkeling, but I received very thorough instructions. I thought snorkeling would involve going by boat to a beautiful spot, but as expected in Miyako Island, I was able to see incredibly beautiful waters even while swimming out from the shore. I was able to take many photos of the stunning sea, which became wonderful memories. I also got a lot of pictures of myself and the marine life. I was worried it might be cold in January, but experiencing the clarity of the water from within was a fantastic experience, and I'm glad I did it. It was chilly before and after entering the water, but they provided warm water for us. I was also grateful that they shared the photos the next day. Luckily, I encountered a sea turtle and got some great pictures, which made me very satisfied. I would definitely like to request this again when I visit Miyako Island.

I went to Miyako Island from the 24th to the 26th. My reservation was for after 10 PM on the 25th. The weather forecast showed clear skies on the 24th, heavy rain on the 25th, and since I would be leaving on the 26th, I contacted them on the day of arrival to see if I could change my plans to the 24th. They kindly accommodated my request at the last minute. Thank you for your support!

The location was the coastal parking lot. It was completely dark with no lights, and when I got out of the car and looked up at the sky, a stunning view of stars that I couldn't see in the city unfolded before me, and I was truly moved! A photographer arrived and guided us to the coast for a shooting session. They also asked about my preferences for silhouettes.

After checking the images we took, the shoot wrapped up, and I was very happy to learn how to take photos with my iPhone and how to use the camera with my son.

The next day, I received many images after corrections were made. The starry sky was far more beautiful than I had imagined, with stunning colors, resulting in breathtaking images. This will definitely be a cherished memory! Thank you very much.

予約が25日の22時以降、、、
天気予報が24日が晴れ。25日大雨、26日は帰ってしまうので、ダメ元で24日に変更出来ないか、当日着いてから連絡をし、急遽予定を変更してもらいました。対応ありがとうございました！
そのおかげでめちゃくちゃ綺麗な星空を見る事ができました！

場所は海岸駐車場。電灯などもなく真っ暗で車から降りて空を見上げたら、市街地では見えなかった星空が広がっていて、そこで感動！！
カメラマンさんが来て、海岸の方へ誘導していただき撮影の打ち合わせ。
シルエットの希望なども聞いていただきました。
撮った画像の確認をして、撮影も終わり、iPhoneでの撮影の仕方、息子にカメラを使っての撮影方法なども教えてくださり、とても嬉しかったです。

翌日には補正なども終わりたくさんの画像が届きました。想像していた星空より遥かに越えて綺麗な色の星空で、感動的な画像になっていました。
これは思い出になりますねぇ！！

In December, it wasn't too cold, and the sea in Miyako Island was very beautiful. I was very satisfied with the plan as I could do stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling in half a day. It was my first time doing SUP, but the instructor, Takumi, taught me carefully, and I had a great time. This time, I invited a friend who was visiting Okinawa for the first time to join me in Miyako Island. 😃

First of all, the winter sea was incredibly beautiful! I’ll include comments from my friend who participated with me.

It was my first time snorkeling in Miyako Island. Since it was December, I was worried about the cold, but the water was actually warmer than expected. The sea was so clear that you could see for miles. Following Yume-chan, I started swimming and immediately encountered a sea turtle! Its leisurely swimming was adorable and truly moving. I had a bit of trouble taking photos because the turtle was so focused on the seaweed, but I was dedicated to capturing underwater shots, considering the lighting to take beautiful pictures. ✨

As we swam through the coral reefs, we moved slowly, and it was amazing to see various fish swimming right next to us! The instructor provided detailed guidance, which made me feel safe while swimming, and the explanations about the fish were interesting. I got to swim a lot, took pictures with cute clownfish, and was very satisfied. After finishing, they prepared warm water for us, leaving us with warm feelings both physically and emotionally.

In the afternoon, we moved to a different location for a SUP tour. My friend was new to SUP, but the instructor, Gen-chan with the beard, gave clear explanations, and my friend was able to stand on the board right away. We even lay down on the board, and it felt so pleasant with the wind blowing. When we passed through the rocks, it was exciting. We enjoyed SUP almost exclusively in a cove. Fish were swimming below the board, and I was once again amazed by the clarity of the water that allowed us to see them from above. We had a great time, took lots of pictures, and created wonderful memories!

今回、沖縄自体が初めての友達を宮古島に誘い出し参加させてもらいました😃
まず、冬の海の中はとてもキレイでした！今回、一緒に参加した友達からのコメントも含めて書かせていただきます。

宮古島でのシュノーケリングは初めてでした。
12月ということで、寒さなど心配でしたが海の中のほうが暖かいくらいでした。
海はとっても綺麗で、どこまでも見える透明度。
ゆめちゃんに続いて、泳ぎだすと直ぐにウミガメとご対面！
ゆったり泳ぐ姿は可愛くて感動しました。写真撮影は、海藻に夢中のうみがめさんにちょっぴり苦労しました笑
けど、水中での写真撮影にこだわりをもってて、光の加減も考えてキレイな写真を撮っていただきました✨
サンゴ礁を泳ぎながらゆっくり移動。手の届くような身体のそばをいろんな魚が泳いで行くのは感動です!
インストラクターさんが細かく声かけしてくれるので安心して泳げますし、魚の解説も面白かったです。
たくさん泳げましたし、可愛いクマノミとも写真が撮れ、大満足でした。
終了後もお湯を準備してもらい、心も体も温かい気持ちで終えられました。

午後は場所を移動してのSUPツアー。
友達はSUPは初めてでしたが、イントラの髭男げんちゃんの説明がわかりやすく、ボードの上に直ぐ立つことが出来てました。
ボードの上に寝転んでもみましが、風に吹かれてとても心地よく、岩の間を潜り抜けたときは、わくわくしました。
入江をほぼ貸切でSUPを楽しむことができました。
ボード下を魚が泳いでおり、それが上から見える透明度の高さに再び感動です。
楽しい時間を過ごせました。
写真もたくさん撮ってもらい、良い思い出になりました！！

It was the right choice to use a sightseeing taxi for our trip with my parents. We had planned to see the three major bridges and have a Miyako beef steak lunch in five hours, but we were able to stop at several spots along the way, making our time on Miyako Island very enjoyable. However, one issue was that the sound of the waves made it difficult to hear the instructions, so it was challenging to maintain the poses while holding the children. 💦 I'm really looking forward to seeing the final results! I arrived at the location without having made many reservations for tours in advance, but I thought, "Since I'm here, I want to try some marine activities!" and decided to book this tour.

During the snorkeling, I naturally interacted with other participants and was able to leisurely enjoy the sea filled with corals and colorful fish. It was my second time snorkeling in my life and my first time in Japan, but thanks to Ryoma's precise explanations and the "photo time," I was able to relax and fully enjoy the experience. And to my surprise, we encountered a sea turtle! The moment when everyone gathered and swam together at the shout of "Turtle!!" from a participant is something I will never forget.

After enjoying the underwater experience, we moved on to stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time. We started with learning how to paddle, but Ryoma kept the atmosphere lively with humor, and before I knew it, I was able to try standing up and even challenging poses! Spending time on the board while feeling the waves and wind was incredibly relaxing and wonderful.

The experience was so fulfilling that it felt like much more than just a morning activity, and I was able to spend a very meaningful time without any rush.

Even though it was a last-minute reservation, I was able to not just "see" the sea of Miyako Island, but to "feel it with my body," and it truly became the best memory!

ツアーの事前予約もほとんどしていない状態で現地に降り立ちましたが、
「せっかくならマリンアクティビティをしたい！」と思い立って、このツアーを予約しました。

シュノーケリングでは、他の参加者さんとも自然に交流が生まれ、
サンゴやカラフルな魚たちが泳ぐ海をのんびり楽しむことができました。
人生2度目、日本では初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、
Ryomaさんの的確な解説と“写真タイム”のおかげで安心して満喫できました。
そしてなんと、ウミガメにも遭遇！
参加者さんの「Turtle!!」の声でみんなが一斉に集まって泳いだあの瞬間は、一生忘れられません。

海の中を楽しんだあとは、初めてのSUP。
最初は漕ぎ方を教わるところから始まりましたが、
りょーまっするさんが笑いを交えながら盛り上げてくださり、
気づけば立ち漕ぎやチャレンジングなポーズにも挑戦できるように！
波や風を感じながらボードの上で過ごす時間は、とてもリラックスできて最高でした。

午前中だけの体験とは思えないほど内容が充実していて、
慌ただしさもなく、とても有意義な時間を過ごせました。

急な予約でしたが、宮古島の海を“見るだけ”ではなく、
“体で感じる”ことができ、本当に最高の思い出になりました！

We started the shoot around 10 PM!

As we made our way to the meeting point, we felt a bit anxious walking down the dark path (laughs), but when we got out of the car at the beach, the number of stars was unbelievable!!

We didn't have any particular poses or preferences, but the photographer, Tenten, gave us various suggestions and directions, which we really appreciated! We got so many beautiful photos taken, and every time I look back at them, I remember the emotions we felt ⭐︎ I highly recommend it, so definitely check it out! ♡

I was able to enjoy the best starry sky!! The moment I stepped onto the beach, a night sky filled with stars that I had never seen before spread out before me, and I couldn't help but gasp in awe. My first trip to Miyako Island. On the day of my return, I was picked up at the hotel and taken to the airport. I requested a four-hour tour. I intentionally didn’t research anything in advance, and the driver guided me to recommended places for the itinerary and lunch. Driver Nema was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, and I felt it was wonderful. I was able to cross all three bridges and see many beautiful landscapes. I was very satisfied with the fresh, cheap, and delicious seafood bowl at the shop recommended by Nema, which I definitely wouldn’t have found on my own. It truly felt like a unique taxi tour experience. Of course, the driving was safe, and the explanations and guidance were clear, along with enjoyable conversations, making the four hours fly by! I fell in love with Miyako Island. This was my first time using a chartered taxi, and I highly recommend it. I plan to visit Miyako Island again next year, and I would like to use this service again then. Thank you very much.

初宮古島の旅。帰りの日ホテルまで迎えに来て頂き空港まで送って頂きました。4時間のコースでお願いしました。あえて事前に何も調べず行程も昼食場所もドライバーさんおススメの場所へ案内して頂きました。ドライバーの根間様は島内の事を色々本当によく調べていらして素晴らしいなぁ〜と感じました。3つの橋も全て渡る事ができましたし美しい風景もたくさん見る事ができました。根間様におススメ頂いた漁協直営のお店で新鮮で安くて美味しい海鮮丼に大満足！！自分たちでは絶対辿り着いてないお店だと思うのでタクシー観光ならでは…だなぁと思います。安全運転はもちろんわかりやすい説明と案内そして楽しいお話であっという間の4時間！宮古島が大好きになりました。初めて貸し切りタクシーを利用しましたが本当におすすめです。来年また宮古島を訪れる予定なのでその際はまた利用したいと思っています。ありがとうございました。
