I was worried about whether I would be able to see sea turtles, but I was able to see them! There was also snorkeling time in the coral reef area, and I had a lot of fun. I took many photos with the turtles, creating wonderful travel memories. Thank you, Kometani.

Regarding parking: The free parking at Shinjo Beach was full by around 8:30, and the paid parking in the back cost 2000 yen. It might be better to go early.

I was really skeptical about whether I would actually get to see a sea turtle that I had never seen before, but then the sun-kissed handsome guide, Matsuura-san, appeared! Although the sea was shallow, the kids were initially scared to get in, but Matsuura-san quickly taught them how to use the equipment and swim with fins in about three minutes, and they were soon swimming with joy.

After confirming that the kids could swim, Matsuura-san promptly took us to the long-awaited sea turtle spot. At first, I thought it was a rock, but it turned out to be the long-desired sea turtle!! (^^) Matsuura-san also showed compassion by reminding us that since sea turtles are wild creatures, we should refrain from touching them. I felt his wonderful character and was moved by the sea turtle, making it an unforgettable time!

Finally, after coming out of the water, the kids wanted to take a picture with Matsuura-san, and I appreciate how kindly he responded to them! (^^) The kids keep saying that they want to swim with Matsuura-san and the sea turtles again even after returning home. (^^;;)

まだ見たことないウミガメに本当に会えるのか半信半疑なところに日焼けしたイケメン松浦さん登場！！
遠浅な海とはいえ子供達は最初海に浸かるのも怖がっていたのにガイドの松浦さんが装備の使い方やフィンを使った泳ぎ方は3分ほどでレクチャーしてすぐ泳げるようになり、子供達も大喜び。
そんな泳げる子供たちを確認してからガイドの松浦さんは待望のウミガメスポットへすぐに案内してくれて、最初は岩かと思ったら、なんと念願のウミガメでした！！(^^)
ウミガメは自然の生き物だから触るのは我慢してねと言う生き物への思いやりもあり、改めて松浦さんの人柄を感じウミガメにも感動し最高の時間でした！！
最後に海から上がって子供達はガイドの松浦さんと写真を撮りたいと言って優しく対応してくれたことにも感謝しています！(^^)
子供たちはまたガイド松浦さんと一緒にウミガメと泳ぎたいなぁと故郷に帰ってからもずっと言っています(^^;;

The guide was well-versed in the conditions of the sea and knew the spots with sea turtles and many beautiful fish, enabling us to enjoy ourselves efficiently. I received many beautiful photos, which became wonderful memories. Thanks to the careful instruction on snorkeling techniques during this tour, I was able to rent a snorkel at the beach later and enjoy it freely on my own. It may seem like a given, but the rental equipment at the beach is often of poor quality, and experiencing snorkeling with well-fitted, sturdy gear on this tour helped me discover the joy of snorkeling. 初めての体験でしたが、準備や注意事項の説明も丁寧でシュノーケリング中も親切にガイドしてくれたことで安心して思い切り楽しめました。
ガイドの方は海の様子、ウミガメやたくさんのきれいな魚のいるスポットを熟知されていて、効率的に充分楽しむことができました。
写真もたくさんいただけ、どれも綺麗で本当に良い思い出となりました。
このツアーで丁寧にシュノーケリングの方法を教えていただき実践できたことで、後日、ビーチにてシュノーケルをレンタルし一人で自由に楽しめるまでになりました。当たり前の事なのかもしれませんが、ビーチのレンタル品はあまり質が良くなく、こちらのツアーで体型に合ったしっかりした装備で体験できたことでシュノーケリングの楽しさを知ることができたと思っています。

I had heard that we would be able to see sea turtles, but since it's nature, I tried not to get my hopes up about what would happen. However, when I actually went, two sea turtles swam right up close to us, and it was amazing! Watching them eat seaweed and come up to the surface to breathe was just too cute.

Our guide, Matsuura, was very thorough in teaching us how to take photos with the sea turtles and how close we could get, which I really appreciated. They took nearly 70 photos for us, and it was truly moving.

ウミガメに会えるとのふれこみでしたが、自然のことなのでどうなるか分からないなと期待しないようにしていたのですが…実際行ってみるとなんとすぐ近くでウミガメが2匹も泳いできてくれて最高でした！海藻を食べる姿や水面に出て呼吸する姿がかわいすぎました。
ガイドの松浦さんがとても丁寧にウミガメとの写真の撮り方やどれくらいの距離まで近づいていいのかなど教えてくださったので、本当にありがたかったです。お写真も70枚近く撮ってくださって、感動です。

今回初めて星空フォトツアーに参加しました。
行くまでは真っ暗闇で少し不安になりながら向かいましたが、担当の方が電話でとても親切に案内してくれて無事に到着。
空を見上げた瞬間にあまりの綺麗な星空に感動しすぎて言葉も出ないほどでした！！
写真撮影も、スタッフの方が親切におすすめのポーズなど教えてくれたくさん撮影していただきました！その日は三日月で、月明かりも綺麗な日だったので月も背景に一緒に撮影してくださったりと大満足な時間でした！仕上がりも3日ほどでLINEで送ってもらえるのですぐに保存もできます！
撮影中に流してくださってたBGMもセンス良すぎで雰囲気も最高な中星空観察と撮影もしてもらえるので宮古島に行った際は絶対おすすめのツアーです！

I have gone snorkeling many times both domestically and internationally, but since I only do it about once a year, I always feel excited each time.

I usually enter by boat, but my first beach entry at Shinjo Beach was shallow and I felt it was very suitable for beginners, children, and people like me who only do it occasionally.

Our guide, Matsuura, taught us in a clear and polite manner.

I was incredibly thrilled to see a large sea turtle up close!

After the fun snorkeling, I received information about sightseeing in Miyako Island.

For our honeymoon, we went to Miyako Island for the first time. Since I had never seen a sea turtle before, I was looking for one and found this snorkeling tour through Veltra, which had great reviews, so I made a reservation. Although we changed from our originally planned location to Shigira Beach, we were fortunate to quickly spot a sea turtle thanks to the attentive guidance of our host, Matsuura-san! We also got to see many beautiful fish, and we were lucky to catch the sea turtle during its nap time! Matsuura-san explained everything in a very easy-to-understand way, which made it enjoyable for us as well. The photos you sent us were incredibly well taken, and I am truly satisfied! It was my first time snorkeling, and the guide, Matsuura, kindly taught me how to use the equipment, so I was able to manage it without any issues. We searched for sea turtles in the ocean and found one right away, allowing us to get quite close and take photos, which was fantastic. According to Matsuura, the sea turtles at Shinjo Beach are accustomed to people, so they don't flee as long as you don't touch them. In fact, we were able to get so close that it felt like we could touch them, making it a valuable experience. I highly recommend taking photos with the sea turtles! ✨

まぁまぁの雨が降っていましたが、海の中は透明で綺麗でした。
また、初シュノーケリングでしたが、ガイドの松浦さんが親切に教えてくださり、無事使えました。
ウミガメは海で探して、直ぐに見つけてくれましたかなり近づいて写真が撮れたのでとても良かったです。

In early April, our family of four, including elementary and middle school children, participated. It was the children's first time snorkeling, but our guide, Matsuura, adjusted to our family's pace, allowing us to observe the adorable feeding habits of sea turtles, which created wonderful memories. They also provided us with many beautiful photos and shared information about dining and sightseeing spots. I participated because I wanted to see the starry sky and the coconut crab. I was surprised to see a lot of people at the meeting place, around 30 people, but we were divided into groups of about 10. Following our guide, Roy, through the night forest felt like an adventure and was exciting. Since it was March, I didn't have high expectations for seeing the coconut crab, but thanks to Roy's efforts in searching, we were able to see one! Unfortunately, the cloudy sky meant we couldn't see the stars, but there were many plants that I had never seen before on Honshu, making it a very good experience. Roy also shared information about Miyako Island's history, knowledge about the local flora and fauna, and recommended shops and tours! I recommend doing this on the first day of your sightseeing if you're planning to go.

集合場所にはたくさんの人、30人弱くらいの人がいてびっくりしましたが、10人ずつくらいのグループに分かれました。
ガイドの方(ロイさん)の後に続き、夜の森の中を進むのは冒険のようでわくわくしました。
3月なのでヤシガニはあまり期待できないとのことでしたが、ロイさんが頑張って探して見つけてきてくれたおかげで、無事見ることができました！
あいにくの曇り空で星は見えなかったのですが、
本州では見たことのないような植物がたくさんで
とても良い経験になりました。
宮古島の歴史や、動植物の知識、おすすめのお店やツアーも教えてくださいました！
これから行く予定の方は、観光の初日にするのがオススメです。

I came to Miyako Island for a graduation trip with my friends. We wanted to see creatures that we can't find on Honshu, so we decided to join this tour.

On the day of the tour, the weather was bad, and since it was February, I was worried that we might not see any active creatures, especially the coconut crab. However, contrary to my worries, within just 20 minutes, our tour guide Yusei found a coconut crab! I was so excited!!

By participating in the tour, I was able to learn about the unique geography and creatures of Miyako Island, and even though it was just the first day of our trip, I was extremely satisfied! Thank you very much!!

Due to bad weather from the previous day, the location was changed to Shigira Beach. The sea was calm, and there were many types of fish swimming among the coral reefs. I booked the morning sea turtle snorkeling course with SAP. As soon as I entered the water, I encountered sea turtles, and the staff took great photos of me with them. Meeting the sea turtles, which was my main goal, was such a thrill, and from there, I was able to swim with colorful, beautiful fish, which was incredibly moving! The staff guided us to points with lots of fish, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful sea and marine life. Since I had experienced SAP a few times before, I was able to get on the board relatively easily, but floating in the middle of the sea while feeling the ocean breeze was the ultimate luxury. Because it was the off-season, there were no other tour guests at all, so I was lucky to have the calm bay all to myself and enjoy a relaxed experience. In the latter half, while doing SUP, the staff shared many recommendations for food and shops in Miyako Island, making it very easy to plan my afternoon activities.

Both activities had staff who were friendly, approachable, and attentive, making it easy to connect and chat! Additionally, I appreciated that they took many photos during the activities and sent them to me via LINE! I can look back at the photos later as memories. In particular, the underwater photos with the sea turtles were something I couldn't help but brag about to others. I was extremely satisfied, and I definitely want to use their services again when I visit next time. Thank you very much!

午前中のウミガメシュノーケリング→SAPというコースで予約しました。シュノーケリングは、海に入ってすぐのところでウミガメに遭遇できしっかりスタッフの方にウミガメとの写真を撮っていただきました。最初に大きな目標だったウミガメに会えたのでそこからは色とりどりのキレイな魚たちと一緒に泳ぐことができて大感動！魚の多いポイントにスタッフの方がずっと誘導してくださり、綺麗な海と魚たちを堪能できました。場所を移動して行ったSAPは何度か経験していたので、割とすんなり乗れましたが、海風を浴びながら海の真ん中を漂っている時間が、無になれて最高に贅沢でした。オフシーズンのため他のツアー客も全くいなくて、穏やかな湾内を独占してゆったりと出来たのもラッキーでした。後半は午後から宮古島おすすめの食べ物やお店の話をSUPしながらたくさん教えてくださり、午後の行動がとてもしやすかったです。
2つのアクティビティとも、スタッフさんがラフで気さくで丁寧ですぐに打ち解けて話せました！また、有難かったのが、アクティビティ中の様子をたくさん写真に撮っていていただき、LINEで送ってくださったこと！写真は後でゆっくり思い出として見返せます。特に、ウミガメと一緒に撮ってもらった水中写真は周りに自慢しちゃちました。大満足でしたので、是非また訪れた際には利用したいです。本当にありがとうございました！

It was an absolutely amazing tour. I joined to see the coconut crab, but since it was a clear winter day, it was a challenging environment for the warm and humid-loving coconut crabs to appear. However, our guide managed to find one, and I was able to see it! It was so moving!

While exploring the dark night paths, the guide also explained the history and wildlife of Okinawa and Miyako, which was very educational.

At the end, we reached a scenic spot in the park to view the starry sky, and since it was clear, we were able to take beautiful photos against the stunning starry backdrop. It was very dark around us, allowing us to see the winter constellations beautifully.

I was extremely satisfied, and our guide, Yusei, was very kind, so I definitely want to participate again.

真っ暗な夜道を探索しながら、沖縄や宮古の歴史、生き物についても説明をしてくださりとても勉強になりました。

最後は公園の星空絶景スポットがゴールになっており、晴れだったので素敵な星空を背景に写真を撮ってくださりました。周りがとても暗かったので、綺麗に冬の星座を見ることができました。

満足度は非常に高く、ガイドのゆうせいさんもとても親切でしたのでぜひまた参加したいと思いました。

I was a beginner, but I had a great time.

初心者でしたがすごく楽しかったです。

天候の影響で開催地が変更になりましたが、ウミガメに会うことも出来ました！欲を言えばもうちょっと泳いでいたかったですね。2時間コースとか作って頂くとありがたいです。

今回は予め水着に着替えて行きましたが、帰る際はやはり着替えてから帰りたいので更衣室やシャワー室などが近くにあれば良かったです。

担当スタッフさんはこめっちさんです。とても丁寧に対応していただきました。ありがとうございました。
