Exploring the Pumpkin Cave was a very mysterious and adventurous experience that was exciting and valuable. I also enjoyed sea kayaking and snorkeling, and I was thrilled to finally meet a sea turtle. The guides, Hana and Tecchan, were very kind, sharing recommended spots and taking lots of photos, which made the tour enjoyable and reassuring throughout.
On the other hand, there were some concerns regarding the operation. Even though I received a call in the morning confirming the tour and headed to the meeting place, there were no staff present at the site, and when the start time came, there was no guidance. When I contacted the office, I was informed that the tour was canceled due to bad weather. This confirmation took time, resulting in a waiting period. Additionally, the meeting place required a parking fee each time I entered, so I felt it would have been better to know this in advance. However, I appreciated that they adjusted the schedule so I could experience all the activities. I hope they can improve their communication system in the future.
パンプキン鍾乳洞の探検はとても神秘的で冒険感があり、ワクワクする貴重な体験でした。シーカヤックやシュノーケリングも楽しめ、念願だったウミガメにも出会えて大満足です。担当してくださったガイドのはなちゃん、てっちゃんもとても親切で、おすすめスポットを教えてくれたり写真をたくさん撮ってくださったりと、ツアー中は終始楽しく安心して過ごすことができました。
一方で運営面では気になる点もありました。当日朝に電話で催行連絡を受け集合場所へ向かったにもかかわらず現地にスタッフがおらず、開始時間になっても案内がなかったため事務局へ連絡したところ、悪天候のため中止との説明を受けました。この確認にも時間がかかり、結果的に待ち時間が発生しました。また集合場所は入場のたびに駐車場代が必要だったため、その点も含め事前に分かっていればよかったと感じました。その後時間を調整してすべてのアクティビティを体験できた点はありがたかったですが、連絡体制については今後の改善を期待したいです。

I tried stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time, and Hana, our guide, was very friendly and kind. She taught me how to ride and paddle in detail, so I was able to enjoy it without falling off until the end!
Although we were in a bay, I was able to see fish and sea snakes. I got really excited when I spotted a stingray!
Due to my oversight, I thought I had booked the 3:30 PM session to match my flight's arrival time, but the meeting time was actually at 2 PM, which was very early. Additionally, my flight was delayed, so even going straight from the airport, I ended up being a little late.
I also didn't confirm that we needed to wear swimsuits for the gathering, so I had to rush to change in the car. I apologize for making the other group wait because of that.
初めてSUPをしましたが、担当のはなちゃんがとても気さくで優しく、乗り方や漕ぎ方を丁寧に教えてくれたので、落ちることなく最後まで楽しめました！
また、湾の中でしたが魚やウミヘビが見れました。
エイが見れたときはテンションが上がりました！
私の確認不足ですが、もともと飛行機の到着時間に合わせて15:30の回を予約したつもりでしたが、当日の待ち合わせが14時ととても早く、また飛行機が遅延していたため、空港から直行しても少し間に合わず遅刻してしまいました…。
また、水着着用での集合も確認していなかったため、車内で急ぎ着替えることになりました…。
そのため、他のグループの方を待たせてしまったのは申し訳なかったです。
レンタカーが水着着用での使用が禁止だったのですが、ビーチ周辺は更衣室がなかったため、脱ぎ着しやすい服装やタオルを多めに持って行ったほうが便利かと思いました

I wanted to try stand-up paddleboarding, but my husband preferred canoeing. Just when I was thinking of giving up, I found out that we could choose either option! On top of that, the boards were clear, so we could see clownfish and colorful fish swimming below. However, if you don't know where to look, it's hard to spot them at all, but our guide skillfully led us to the best viewing points. Impressive!
What was even more amazing was the drone footage they captured. There were also edited videos combined with the photos taken by the guide, and we received all the footage via AirDrop right after the experience. It became the best memory for us. Thank you so much! 😊

The sea was very beautiful. It was a bit cloudy, but it wasn't cold. Under the guidance of the gentle and kind staff, I was able to stand up and paddle on the SUP. In the end, we were able to explore the bay together in various places. I definitely want to visit again. Maybe I'll bring my grandchild next time. This was my second experience. This year, the weather was clear, and the sea was beautiful—it was the best!
It was my first time trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but the guidance from the not-so-25-year-old guy was excellent, and time flew by while having fun. Thank you to the blonde guy for the beautiful photos as well.
The second visit to the Pumpkin Cave was magical and a time for purification. I enjoyed the stories from the not-so-25-year-old guy, and he was great at taking photos too! Everyone was kind, and I was able to have a wonderful time.
I made great memories with my family this year as well. I would love to come back next year! Thank you very much.

My sister and I, both in our twenties, experienced snorkeling and the Pumpkin Cave. Unfortunately, the sky was cloudy, but we were able to see a variety of colorful fish, sea turtles, and clownfish underwater, making it enjoyable despite the weather.
After snorkeling, we took a short break and headed to the Pumpkin Cave. We traveled to the entrance of the cave by canoe, and it was fun to paddle together as sisters, providing a nice workout.
Once inside the cave, the clarity of the water was even more beautiful, and I was truly moved. I was surprised to hear that we would be climbing the pumpkin stalagmite right in front of us during the exploration, but our energetic guide provided excellent support, allowing even someone like me, who doesn't exercise much, to make progress. Inside the cave, we were able to see the beautiful formations created by nature over many years up close, making it an unforgettable memory of our time in Miyako Island.

シュノーケリングの後は、小休憩を挟み、パンプキン鍾乳洞に向かいました。 鍾乳洞の入り口まではカヌーで移動し、姉妹で息を合わせて漕ぐ時間が楽しく、程よい運動になりました。
洞内に入ると、透明度の高い海が一層美しく見え、感動しました。鍾乳洞を探検するにあたって、目の前のパンプキン鍾乳石をよじ登ると聞いて驚きましたが、体力のあるガイドさんが手厚くサポートしてくださり、運動不足の自分でも何とか進むことができました。洞内は、自然が長い年月をかけて作り出した、美しい地形を間近で見ることができ、宮古島での忘れられない思い出となりました。

I made a reservation for the Pumpkin Cave & Sea Kayaking + Sea Turtle Snorkeling. In February, my friend who was joining me had never really played in the ocean before, so I was a bit worried about whether it would be okay. Unfortunately, due to the high tide on the day of the event, the Pumpkin Cave was canceled, and with rain in the forecast, it felt like there was a hint of chaos ahead.

ガイドさんもとても親切で親しみやすく、初心者のお友達の面倒を任せっきりで助かりました。「一生の思い出になった。感動したー」と喜んでいました。

The weather was nice, and the staff were calm and very friendly. I was nervous since it was my first time kayaking, but they carefully taught me how to paddle, allowing me to enjoy kayaking with peace of mind. The drone footage captured breathtaking scenery that truly moved me.

We participated as a couple in our late 50s. Unfortunately, the weather was not great on the day of the tour, but we gathered at Shigira Beach at 9 AM for snorkeling. After that, we moved to a beach with caves and took a short break before adjusting our schedule flexibly to do sea kayaking and visit Pumpkin Cave before the weather worsened. The day before, the waves were high, and the kayaking and cave activities were canceled, so we were grateful that they managed to conduct the tour with some adjustments to the timing.
During snorkeling, we were able to see many tropical fish, including sea turtles, clownfish, butterflyfish, and unicornfish, which was wonderful. Miyako Island is highly recommended for its diverse fish species. Although it wasn't mentioned in the tour details, they provided wetsuits for us. However, it was still quite cold getting out of the water at this time of year, but the guide had prepared hot water in plastic bottles, which was a great help.
The sea kayaking to the cave was a bit challenging due to the higher waves that day, and it was quite tiring. I used muscles I don't usually use, so I experienced some muscle soreness the next day, haha.
Pumpkin Cave is a sacred place, and it seems that photography has been prohibited in recent years, so we couldn't bring cameras. It was very disappointing not to be able to take pictures, but the area beyond the Pumpkin stalactites continued into a cave, providing a very mystical and thrilling experience. I believe that you can only access this place through such a tour, so I am very satisfied to have participated in this tour.

当日はあいにくの天候でしたが、9時にシギラビーチ集合してシュノーケリング、そのまま洞窟のある浜に移動して少し休憩後にシーカヤックとパンプキン洞窟と、天候が酷くなる前に柔軟にスケジュール調整して催行頂きました。前日は波が高くカヤックと洞窟は催行中止になったそうなので、時間の工夫で催行頂けたのは有難かったです。
シュノーケリングでは、ウミガメの他、隠れクマノミやチョウチョウウオ、ツノダシなど熱帯魚を多く見る事ができて良かった。宮古島は魚種がとても多くお薦めです。ツアー案内に記載ないですが、ウェットスーツは貸してくれます。それでも海から上がると、さすがにこの時期は寒かったのですが、ガイドの方がお湯の入ったペットボトルを用意してくれていて助かりました。
洞窟までのシーカヤックはこの日は波が少し高く、かなり疲れました。普段使わない筋肉を使うので翌日は筋肉痛w
パンプキン洞窟は神聖な場所なので近年撮影禁止になったそうで、カメラの持ち込みはできませんでした。撮影出来ないのはとても残念でしたが、パンプキン鍾乳石の奥も鍾乳洞が続いており、とても神秘的でスリリングな体験ができました。このようなツアーでしか、ここにはこれないと思いますので、このツアーに参加できて満足してます。

My father and I participated together.
In the morning, we went snorkeling. It was amazing to see clownfish and green sea turtles!
In the afternoon, we rode kayaks to the Pumpkin Cave. The thrilling adventure we had working together was very fulfilling!
Finally, we did stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). I thought it might be fun since we had experienced sunset SUP the evening before (though we couldn't see the sunset due to the clouds), but the staff treated us as participants and guided us, which made it even more enjoyable. After following the "Dobon Brother," I jumped in and felt incredibly refreshed!
My son was happy and said he had a great time, making it an unforgettable trip.
There were other participants who struggled with kayaking and SUP, but the friendly and attentive staff provided excellent support, allowing everyone to have a fun experience together.

The wind was strong, so we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but as an alternative, we went to Shigira Beach where we were able to see a lot of sea turtles! I did stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the morning and participated in a pumpkin cave tour in the afternoon. Until the day before, it had been raining, and I was worried about the weather, but on the day itself, the rain stopped, and the sun peeked out a little! The wind was strong, but I had a really great experience.
It was my first time doing SUP, but our guide, the dandy Gen-chan, taught us carefully, and I was able to grasp the techniques quickly. It was so much fun! On the way back to the parking lot after SUP, he also taught us about the plants of Miyako Island. I learned about plants I didn't know before, and I felt like I became more knowledgeable!
In the afternoon, I joined the pumpkin cave tour. When we canoed to the cave, I was able to apply my morning SUP experience right away! In reality, there were many rocky areas in the sea, and the wind was strong, making it difficult to progress. However, the guides provided advice along the way, and we were able to reach the cave safely.
Once we arrived at the cave, we took photos and used ropes to climb up, experiencing things that can only be done in Miyako Island! The most fun part was definitely going down from the cave! I also enjoyed listening to various stories inside the cave. I was glad to have so many unique experiences that can only be had in Miyako Island! I would love to participate again! Supは初めてでしたが、ガイドのダンディなげんちゃんが丁寧に教えてくれて、すぐにコツを掴むことができて、とっても楽しかったです！！supの後、駐車場に戻る途中には宮古島の植物などを教えくれました。知らなかった植物についても知れて、物知りになれた気がします！
午後は、パンプキン鍾乳洞ツアーに参加しました。鍾乳洞まで、カヌーで行く時は、午前中のsupの経験が早速生かされました！実際は、海の中にゴツゴツした岩がたくさんある＋風が強かったので、進むのが大変でした。でもガイドさんたちが、前からアドバイスしてくれて、無事鍾乳洞まで、辿り着くことができました。
鍾乳洞についてからは、写真を撮ったり、ロープを使って、上に登ったりと、宮古島でしか体験できないことができました！特に鍾乳洞から降りるところが一番楽しかったです！！鍾乳洞の中でも、いろいろなお話が聴けて良かったです！宮古島でしかできない経験がたくさんできて、良かったです！また参加したいです！ありがとございました！

The pumpkin activity felt harder than expected with all the climbing and diving, but the support was generous and reassuring. We also had a meaningful time canoeing while enjoying the scenery. It's important to note that there are no restrooms nearby, so it's essential to take care of that beforehand. Our family had a great time enjoying the sea of Miyako Island! The guide, Gen-chan, was wonderful with clear explanations and a smile. It was so much fun that I want to experience it again. Thank you very much!

This time, I participated in three activities: snorkeling, the Pumpkin Cave, and SUP.
**Snorkeling 🤿**
We started in heavy rain. As soon as I entered the water, I was able to see a sea turtle. Our guide was Momo-chan, who shared interesting facts about the fish, which was fascinating. I appreciated the care taken not only underwater but also on land. However, I had pre-ordered a size S wetsuit, but they gave me a size M (which seemed to be the only one available), and because of that, I got really cold and it was quite chilly.
**Pumpkin Cave**
Our guide was Ryoma-san. He was a great storyteller and really engaging. We had a very enjoyable time. The Pumpkin Cave is unique and if you're interested, it's definitely a spot you should visit without hesitation.
**SUP**
This was my first experience with SUP. The rain stopped, and I got to enjoy my first time on the water. I wanted to spend more time relaxing and enjoying the connection between the sea and the sky. Unfortunately, I couldn't see many fish while paddling, which was a bit disappointing.
I signed up for a local tour that included these three activities, but each activity felt quite independent. It operated on a meet-up and disperse system, where after one activity, we had to gather at a specific time and place for the next. Between activities, there was time to warm up, eat, and use the restroom. Since I got too cold this time, I returned to the hotel after each activity to warm up with a shower and then left in time for the next one. After everything was done, I went back to the hotel to warm up again. I was glad I could do that.

スノーケリング🤿
どしゃ降りの中、スタート
海に入ってすぐ、ウミガメを見ることが出来ました
ガイドはmomoﾁｬﾝ。お魚ｳﾝﾁｸでへぇー。海の中だけでなく陸の上での心配りに感謝です。
ただ、事前にウェットスーツSsize申し込んだのですがMsizeを渡され(それしかなかった模様)、そのせいか体が凄く冷えて寒かったー
パンプキン鍾乳洞
ガイドはリョウマｻﾝ。お話上手で、持ち上げ上手。とても楽しいひとときを過ごしました。
ここしかないパンプキン鍾乳洞。興味があるならためらうことなく是非すぐにでも行くべくスポットの一つです。
SUP
初体験のSUPでした。
雨もやみSUP初体験。海と空との一体感、もっと長い時間、のんびりボーっとした時間を過ごしたかった。
SUPをしながら魚を殆ど見ることが出来なくて、その点では残念です。
３つのアクティビティが含まれている一つの現地ツアーを申し込みましたが、アクティビティ一つ一つが独立している感じ。現地集合現地解散システム、一つアクティビティが終わり次は何時にどこどこ集合、という進め方。アクティビティとアクティビティの間に体暖め、+食事にトイレに…。
今回は体が冷え過ぎたこともあり、アクティビティが終わる度にホテルに戻りシャワーで体暖めて、次の時間に間に合うように出発。終わったら再びホテルに戻り体を暖めて…。それができて良かったです。

We participated in this activity with my son, sister, and niece. The staff member was super handsome, which got us excited right from the start.
It was our first time snorkeling, but he taught us gently, so I had no worries at all. I was thrilled when a sea turtle came right up close to us! Although the weather wasn't great, we still had a satisfying experience. The Pumpkin Cave, with its 30-year history, was mystical, and the power of being inside was something you could only truly appreciate by actually going in.
The scenery on the way there by canoe was also amazing, and our whole family had a fantastic day. It was my first time in Miyako Island, and it became a truly wonderful memory. We took a lot of photos too! Thank you so much!!

I participated on January 21st. Unfortunately, due to the weather, with strong winds and a cold wave caused by a typhoon, there were concerns about whether the event would take place, but it was held somehow. It was disappointing considering the weather had been great the week before, but during the snorkeling, our guides, Mayu and Hana, constantly checked in with us, and thanks to their thoughtful care and bright personalities, we were able to enjoy it without any worries. I finally encountered a sea turtle, and the visibility was better than I expected, allowing us to see a variety of colorful fish up close.
Next, we headed to the Pumpkin Cave by kayak, but due to strong headwinds, we struggled to make progress despite paddling hard... It was tough, but it helped warm up my body. At the cave, Gen provided a fun and easy-to-understand guide, making for a mystical and thrilling adventure experience. It was truly the best tour where I could feel the unique nature and power of Miyako Island with my whole being.
I had a great time experiencing such an active adventure after a long time! I think even women with low stamina and children can enjoy it because the guides provide solid support.
1月２１日に参加しました。あいにく天候で、台風と寒波の影響のため強風かつ肌寒く、開催も危ぶまれましたが、どうにか開催されました。前の週はお天気がずっと良かっただけに、残念なコンディションでしたが、シュノーケルでは、ガイドの“まゆちゃん”と“はなちゃん”が常に声をかけてくれて、細やかな気配りと明るさのおかげで不安なく楽しめました。念願のウミガメに出会え、思っていたより透明度は高く、色とりどりの魚もたくさん間近に見ることができました。
次にパンプキン鍾乳洞まで、カヤックで向かったのですが、強い向かい風のため、漕いでも漕いでも進まず・・・大変でしたが、おかげで体が温まりました。鍾乳洞ではゲンちゃんの楽しく分かりやすい案内で、神秘的かつスリル満点の冒険体験ができ、まさに宮古島ならではの自然とパワーを全身で感じられる最高のツアーでした。
久しぶりにアクティブな体験ができて、とても楽しかった！
ガイドの方々がしっかりサポートしてくれるので、体力のない女性やお子さんでも楽しめると思います。

Everything was wonderful.
Due to work commitments and flight delays, our reservation time changed multiple times, but you kindly suggested alternative dates without any complaints, which was a great help.
Not only did you teach us, who are beginners in SAP, thoroughly from scratch, but you also adapted the level of assistance and freedom according to the participants' comfort, showcasing your professionalism in marine sports.
During the SAP session, we were able to take an incredible number of photos and videos with drones and smartphones, and perhaps because there were few participants that day, we even received a video with background music as a complimentary service.
The staff were bright and friendly from start to finish. It was impressive that they waved goodbye until we were out of sight, and they also offered advice on nearby restaurants.
For us, who are busy with work and find it hard to take time off, this was the perfect experience. It has also become one of the reasons we want to visit Miyako Island again.

仕事の都合、フライトの遅延で予約時間の変更が二転三転してしまいましたが、悪態ひとつなく快く別日時をご提案くださり助かりました。
また、SAP初心者の私たちに対してイチから丁寧に教えて頂けただけでなく、参加者の慣れに応じて自由度や手助けを臨機応変にされていてマリンスポーツのプロフェッショナルさを感じました。
SAP中はドローンやスマホで凄い数の写真と動画を撮影いただけますし、当日の参加者が少なかったことが理由かもしれませんがサービスでBGM付の動画までいただけました。

It was my first time in a clear kayak, and during the confirmation call the day before, I was kindly given answers to my questions, which made me really excited to participate. On the day of the event, the staff took photos and videos using drones and smartphones, allowing me to fully enjoy kayaking. After we finished, they shared the footage with us and even created a highlight video using those photos and videos, which turned out to be a wonderful memory. It was amazing!

The wind and rain were strong, and I was quite anxious since the day before, but thanks to the adjustments made to the schedule and the fact that the waves weren't too impactful at the rocky area, I was able to enjoy the experience with peace of mind, thanks to the staff!
Although the weather was unfortunate and we were told there might not be any sea turtles, I was thrilled to encounter one while snorkeling!
It was such a precious experience that I want to recommend it to anyone traveling to Miyako Island. I had a fantastic time!

The day before, I received a message about the meeting place and a final confirmation of what to bring. On the day of the activity, the instructor provided detailed explanations, and my mother, who seemed a bit anxious, was kindly guided and quickly got used to it, enjoying herself with a smile.
It seems they also lend out marine coats when it's cold, so you can participate comfortably even in winter. The instructor was very kind to the children as well, allowing them to participate in the activities with peace of mind.

I was feeling disappointed after my reservation was canceled the day before due to strong winds with another company, but I found this place and made a reservation on a whim. They welcomed me warmly. Since the location is in a bay, the winds were calm, and I was able to enjoy myself without any issues! I was also nervous because it was my first time trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but they kindly taught me, which made me feel at ease during the experience! It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!
他の会社で強風により前日にキャンセルとなってしまい落胆している中で、こちらを見つけダメ元で予約したところ、快く受け入れてくださりました。
場所が湾になっている事もあり、風が穏やかで、問題なく楽しむ事ができました！
また、初めてのSUPで不安でしたが、親切に教えていただき安心して体験する事ができました！とても良い思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。
