Miyako Island
I participated in a one-day tour on April 25th. Due to bad weather, the tour of the Pumpkin Cave was canceled, but I was able to enjoy the beautiful sea of Miyako Island through snorkeling and SUP experiences.
For snorkeling, they provided wetsuits, and for SUP, the rain stopped partway through, so I felt a bit cold at first, but I quickly got used to it, and my siblings seemed to really enjoy themselves. シュノーケリングはウェットスーツの貸与があり、SUPは雨が途中で止んだため最初だけ少し寒さを感じましたが直ぐに慣れて姉弟も本当に楽しそうでした。ツアーガイドの「宮古島のピーチ姫」の説明では、「雨のほうが透明度が高い場合もある」とのことなのでむしろ雨でよかったのかも知れません。ウミガメもちゃんと見れました。早くも姉弟は次回参加の計画を練っているようです。ガイドの銭さん、ピーチ姫、素敵な体験と沢山の写真と思い出をありがとうございました。次回も宜しくお願いします。

I received a notification the day before that the experience time had changed, so we gathered at 8 AM and wrapped up around 12:30 PM. Since we didn't have a lunch break, the time was shortened, which actually turned out to be a good thing (we could go sightseeing in the afternoon).

This time, we swam to a slightly distant small island, which I wouldn't have been able to reach on my own.
- The atmosphere was comfortable. I think the guides adjusted the pace according to the group's energy. I was able to enjoy the experience without feeling any strange pressure, which was helpful. Although I didn't actively engage in conversation with the other participants, we helped each other along the way and took photos together, creating a pleasant environment.
- We were able to visit places that we probably wouldn't have been able to go to without joining the tour. Technically, it would be difficult to reach inside the cave on our own, and it might be prohibited for the general public to enter such a sacred place. We had to climb inside the cave, but the guides provided appropriate support. They also explained the cave's structures and formations in an easy-to-understand manner.
- We were able to take a lot of photos. The underwater shots were of good quality. After the experience, they sent the photos via LINE on the same day.

・ガイドさんが要所要所に安全に導びいてくれたこと。おかげさまでウミガメやクマノミ等に出会えました。個人でむやみに泳いでいたらどこが絶好のポイントなのか、どこが安全なのかがわからないと思います。今回はやや離れた小島まで泳いで行きましたが、単独ではそこまでいけなかったでしょう。
・過ごしやすい雰囲気だったこと。ガイドさんがメンバーのテンションに合わせて進行してくれていたのだと思います。変にプレッシャーを感じることなく過ごすことができ、助かりました。参加者の皆さんとは積極的に話す感じではありませんでしたが、途中助けてもらったり、カメラを撮り合ったりして、なごやかに過ごすことができました。
・ツアーに参加しなければいけないであろう場所に行けたこと。個人では鍾乳洞の中まで技術的にたどり着けないでしょうし、そもそも神聖な場所なので一般立ち入りが禁止されている可能性があります。洞窟の中ではよじ登ったりしますが、ガイドさんが適切にサポートしてくれます。洞窟の構造物や成り立ちについてもわかりやすく解説してくれました。
・たくさん写真を撮ってもらえること。海中でも画質良く撮れています。体験終了後、同日中にLINEで送っていただけました。
＜気になった点＞
・鍾乳洞内とその近辺の海水に浸かっている間、寒さで震えが止まらなかったこと(4月中旬)。ただ、私以外の参加者は皆問題なさそうに見えました。
＜まとめ＞
おすすめできるツアーです。特に、シュノーケリング初心者の方、宮古島でしか出来ない体験に興味がある方。旅行の序盤にこのツアーでシュノーケリングを経験できたため、その後個人での初めてのシュノーケリングもスムーズに行うことができました。

費用対効果もバッチリで、心の底からやって良かったと思っています。ガイドのヒロちゃんにも感謝🙏
最後に、3月ということもあり、シュノーケル、カヤック共にやや寒かったです。
3月、4月に行かれる際は、替えの服やバスタオルは必須かと思われます。一応、運営側から温水を頂けましたが、暖かいのは一瞬ですぐに風による寒さが体を蝕みます。一刻も早い保温と着替えをオススメします笑

午後は、パンプキン鍾乳洞ツアーに参加しました。鍾乳洞まで、カヌーで行く時は、午前中のsupの経験が早速生かされました！実際は、海の中にゴツゴツした岩がたくさんある＋風が強かったので、進むのが大変でした。でもガイドさんたちが、前からアドバイスしてくれて、無事鍾乳洞まで、辿り着くことができました。

This was my first experience with SUP. The rain stopped, and I got to enjoy my first time on the water. I wanted to spend more time relaxing and enjoying the connection between the sea and the sky. Unfortunately, I couldn't see many fish while paddling, which was a bit disappointing.
I signed up for a local tour that included these three activities, but each activity felt quite independent. It operated on a meet-up and disperse system, where after one activity, we had to gather at a specific time and place for the next. Between activities, there was time to warm up, eat, and use the restroom. Since I got too cold this time, I returned to the hotel after each activity to warm up with a shower and then left in time for the next one. After everything was done, I went back to the hotel to warm up again. I was glad I could do that.

ガイドはリョウマｻﾝ。お話上手で、持ち上げ上手。とても楽しいひとときを過ごしました。
ここしかないパンプキン鍾乳洞。興味があるならためらうことなく是非すぐにでも行くべくスポットの一つです。
SUP
初体験のSUPでした。
雨もやみSUP初体験。海と空との一体感、もっと長い時間、のんびりボーっとした時間を過ごしたかった。
SUPをしながら魚を殆ど見ることが出来なくて、その点では残念です。
３つのアクティビティが含まれている一つの現地ツアーを申し込みましたが、アクティビティ一つ一つが独立している感じ。現地集合現地解散システム、一つアクティビティが終わり次は何時にどこどこ集合、という進め方。アクティビティとアクティビティの間に体暖め、+食事にトイレに…。
今回は体が冷え過ぎたこともあり、アクティビティが終わる度にホテルに戻りシャワーで体暖めて、次の時間に間に合うように出発。終わったら再びホテルに戻り体を暖めて…。それができて良かったです。

1月２１日に参加しました。あいにく天候で、台風と寒波の影響のため強風かつ肌寒く、開催も危ぶまれましたが、どうにか開催されました。前の週はお天気がずっと良かっただけに、残念なコンディションでしたが、シュノーケルでは、ガイドの“まゆちゃん”と“はなちゃん”が常に声をかけてくれて、細やかな気配りと明るさのおかげで不安なく楽しめました。念願のウミガメに出会え、思っていたより透明度は高く、色とりどりの魚もたくさん間近に見ることができました。
次にパンプキン鍾乳洞まで、カヤックで向かったのですが、強い向かい風のため、漕いでも漕いでも進まず・・・大変でしたが、おかげで体が温まりました。鍾乳洞ではゲンちゃんの楽しく分かりやすい案内で、神秘的かつスリル満点の冒険体験ができ、まさに宮古島ならではの自然とパワーを全身で感じられる最高のツアーでした。
