I joined a tour because I wanted to see the coconut crab that I saw on TV! I was amazed that the guide was able to hear and find the coconut crab! If I had gone alone, I probably wouldn't have found it, so I'm really glad I participated!
I was mainly interested in the coconut crab, but the guide also taught us about various insects, and I found myself thinking that spiders, which I used to dislike, are a little interesting!
The guide who took care of us was very kind and funny, which made for a wonderful memory!

Since I came all the way to Miyako Island, I thought I should experience not just the ocean but also the flora and fauna, so I participated! I encountered many creatures like hermit crabs, stick insects, various types of spiders, frogs, and even a camouflaged crab! When I saw a spider the size of a clenched fist, I was shocked, but as I kept seeing more, it started to seem cute to me, haha. It became the night when I saw the most insects in my life. Walking through the forest at night was also a great experience! The guide was cheerful, and I was able to enjoy the whole time. I appreciated that they quickly sent me the photos we took and even recommended a great izakaya when I was unsure about where to have dinner.
せっかく宮古島に来たなら海だけでなく動植物も…と思い参加しました！
ヤドカリ、ナナフシ、複数種類の蜘蛛、蛙、かくれいわがになどたくさん出逢えました！
握り拳サイズの蜘蛛を見た時はギョッとしましたが、たくさん見ていくうちにだんだんと可愛く思えてきました笑
人生の中で一番虫を見た夜となりました。
夜の森を歩けたのもいい経験となりました！
ガイドさんは明るくて、終始楽しむことができました。撮った写真をすぐ送ってくれたり、夕飯をどう済ますか困っていたところオススメ居酒屋のお店も教えてくれてありがたかったです。

Although the cloudy sky prevented us from seeing the stars, it was a very enjoyable tour as we encountered the coconut crabs. Each of us walked slowly along the stone-paved path from the park's promenade to the observation deck, carrying the flashlights we rented, so it was easy for us, a couple in our 50s, to participate. The coconut crabs we suddenly found were very large and impressive!

I usually don't get photographed, so I was really nervous. The path to the shooting location was completely dark, and I wondered if I would make it, but I arrived safely without getting lost and had some really beautiful photos taken. I was surprised to see not just my shadow but also my face and the color of my clothes in the pictures! My favorite photo is the one where the sea is shining.
普段撮影される事なんてないので、ガチガチに緊張してしまいました。
撮影場所までの道のりは真っ暗で辿り着けるのかと思いましたが、無事迷わず行け、凄く綺麗な写真を撮って頂きました。
影で映るのかと思いきや、顔を服の色も写っていてビックリ‼️しました。

I participated in a stargazing photo tour for the first time this time. I was a bit anxious as I headed into the pitch darkness, but the person in charge kindly guided me over the phone, and I arrived safely. The moment I looked up at the sky, I was so moved by the beautiful starry sky that I was left speechless! During the photo shoot, the staff kindly suggested poses, and we took a lot of pictures! That day, there was a crescent moon, and the moonlight was beautiful, so they even captured the moon in the background, making it a very satisfying experience! The finished photos were sent to me via LINE in about three days, so I could save them right away! The BGM they played during the shoot was also very tasteful, and the atmosphere was perfect for stargazing and photography, so I highly recommend this tour if you visit Miyako Island! 今回初めて星空フォトツアーに参加しました。
行くまでは真っ暗闇で少し不安になりながら向かいましたが、担当の方が電話でとても親切に案内してくれて無事に到着。
空を見上げた瞬間にあまりの綺麗な星空に感動しすぎて言葉も出ないほどでした！！
写真撮影も、スタッフの方が親切におすすめのポーズなど教えてくれたくさん撮影していただきました！その日は三日月で、月明かりも綺麗な日だったので月も背景に一緒に撮影してくださったりと大満足な時間でした！仕上がりも3日ほどでLINEで送ってもらえるのですぐに保存もできます！
撮影中に流してくださってたBGMもセンス良すぎで雰囲気も最高な中星空観察と撮影もしてもらえるので宮古島に行った際は絶対おすすめのツアーです！

I participated because I wanted to see the starry sky and the coconut crab. I was surprised to see a lot of people at the meeting place, around 30 people, but we were divided into groups of about 10. Following our guide, Roy, through the night forest felt like an adventure and was exciting. Since it was March, I didn't have high expectations for seeing the coconut crab, but thanks to Roy's efforts in searching, we were able to see one! Unfortunately, the cloudy sky meant we couldn't see the stars, but there were many plants that I had never seen before on Honshu, making it a very good experience. Roy also shared information about Miyako Island's history, knowledge about the local flora and fauna, and recommended shops and tours! I recommend doing this on the first day of your sightseeing if you're planning to go.
星空&ヤシガニが見たくて参加しました。
集合場所にはたくさんの人、30人弱くらいの人がいてびっくりしましたが、10人ずつくらいのグループに分かれました。
ガイドの方(ロイさん)の後に続き、夜の森の中を進むのは冒険のようでわくわくしました。
3月なのでヤシガニはあまり期待できないとのことでしたが、ロイさんが頑張って探して見つけてきてくれたおかげで、無事見ることができました！
あいにくの曇り空で星は見えなかったのですが、
本州では見たことのないような植物がたくさんで
とても良い経験になりました。

It was a slightly chilly day, and I thought I might not see many creatures, but our guide Roy worked hard to find them, and we were able to see a coconut crab. I came to Miyako Island for a graduation trip with my friends. We wanted to see creatures that we can't find on Honshu, so we decided to join this tour.
On the day of the tour, the weather was bad, and since it was February, I was worried that we might not see any active creatures, especially the coconut crab. However, contrary to my worries, within just 20 minutes, our tour guide Yusei found a coconut crab! I was so excited!!
By participating in the tour, I was able to learn about the unique geography and creatures of Miyako Island, and even though it was just the first day of our trip, I was extremely satisfied! Thank you very much!!

It was an absolutely amazing tour. I joined to see the coconut crab, but since it was a clear winter day, it was a challenging environment for the warm and humid-loving coconut crabs to appear. However, our guide managed to find one, and I was able to see it! It was so moving!
While exploring the dark night paths, the guide also explained the history and wildlife of Okinawa and Miyako, which was very educational.
At the end, we reached a scenic spot in the park to view the starry sky, and since it was clear, we were able to take beautiful photos against the stunning starry backdrop. It was very dark around us, allowing us to see the winter constellations beautifully.
I was extremely satisfied, and our guide, Yusei, was very kind, so I definitely want to participate again.
めちゃくちゃ最高のツアーでした。ヤシガニが見たくて参加したのですが、真冬の晴れの日だったので、暖かくて湿気を好むヤシガニが現れるのには難しい環境でした。しかしガイドさんが見つけてくださりなんとか見ることができました！感動！
真っ暗な夜道を探索しながら、沖縄や宮古の歴史、生き物についても説明をしてくださりとても勉強になりました。
最後は公園の星空絶景スポットがゴールになっており、晴れだったので素敵な星空を背景に写真を撮ってくださりました。周りがとても暗かったので、綺麗に冬の星座を見ることができました。
満足度は非常に高く、ガイドのゆうせいさんもとても親切でしたのでぜひまた参加したいと思いました。

It's a tour you can join without any gear, and the guide provides various lectures. I think it's great to go with a lot of members. The more people there are, the more eyes there are to spot plants, animals, and insects. It becomes really fun to find them. I had such a great time that the hours flew by.
