I couldn't go to the Pumpkin Cave on the day, but I experienced sea turtle snorkeling and canoeing. The snorkeling was with a kind guide, and the canoeing was with a bright veteran guide whose name I missed. They explained everything carefully and took many photos for us. We also got to hear about the ocean and various stories. Thank you for your help with the preparations and clean-up in the heat. The waves were calm, and we had a wonderful time as a family.
当日パンプキン鍾乳洞には行けませんでしたが、海亀シュノーケリングとカヌー体験しました。シュノーケリングは優しいかんちゃん、カヌーは明るいきょっぴさんと名前は聞きそびれましたがベテランさんでした。丁寧に説明してくださり、写真もたくさん撮っていただきました。そして、海の事や色んなお話を聞かせてもらいました。準備や片付け等暑い中ありがとうございました。

Our family's first trip to Miyako Island ♬
We joined this tour because we wanted to see sea turtles.
Both my husband and I were worried about whether our son, who can't swim and has no snorkeling experience, would enjoy it, but thanks to Brother Hikaru (Matsuura Hikaru), he was able to have a great time in the water! He even started swimming on his own halfway through ♪ We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves too!
Brother Hikaru was very kind and always considerate, providing support, and we are truly grateful! Thank you so much!!

Since the pumpkin cave and sea kayaking were canceled, this review is only for snorkeling.
You can easily enter the sea by walking from the shore, so even those who are not comfortable with boats can participate without hesitation. Unfortunately, I didn't encounter any sea turtles, but the sea was beautiful, and I did get to see Nemo 😃. The staff was also kind and provided good service.
パンプキン鍾乳洞とシーカヤックが中止になったのでシュノーケリングのみの評価です。
海岸から歩いて海に入るので、船が苦手な方でも気軽に参加できます。残念ながらウミガメには遭遇出来ませんでしたが、海も綺麗でニモにも会えました😃

I had a great experience on the tour, guided by a muscular former firefighter named Yamato, which made me feel at ease! He shared stories about the limestone caves, and we had a mystical experience canoeing. We also got to experience a very cold, refreshing natural underground water pool deep inside the caves❄. I was able to see a sea turtle right after diving into the ocean. Moreover, since it was in shallow water, the children were able to watch the sea turtle without any fear and felt safe. Additionally, our tour guide, Yamachan, was very kind and made the tour even better by taking many photos and taking us to fish spots.

On this day, I was worried whether the tour would take place due to the earthquake, but miraculously, only the 3 PM tour was held. Today, due to the impact of the typhoon, we only did sea turtle snorkeling. She wasn't very confident in swimming, so I was quite worried until we started, but our guide, Riki, was very kind and reassuring. Not only did he carefully explain how to move in the water beforehand, but he also provided detailed information about the creatures we saw. It was really great. He took wonderful photos and videos, so I recommend this experience for couples or families.

The guide who assisted us this time, Hikaru, was wonderful, and I would love to request him again if I participate in the same tour. My child was scared and anxious about the deep sea where they couldn't touch the bottom, but the guide stayed by our side and helped them swim safely. We were able to see sea turtles and clownfish. On this day, the waves were high, so we couldn't go to the Pumpkin Cave, but in the morning we experienced snorkeling, and in the afternoon, we tried sea kayaking. My 8-year-old was super excited to see a sea turtle swimming right in front of him during his first snorkeling experience. Then, during the highly anticipated sea kayaking, thanks to the staff's kindness, he also got to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). When I asked him which activity he enjoyed the most, he said, "They were all fun!" (laughs)
Yutti, our snorkeling guide, and Hiro and Kyo-chan, who guided us with their Kansai dialect during kayaking and SUP, all provided very clear explanations, making us feel safe during the experience. Their attentive service and fun conversations allowed our family to have a wonderful time! Next time, we plan to tackle the cave again, and I definitely want to request it here.

I was taken care of during the snorkeling, sea kayaking, and pumpkin cave tour on the 23rd. I got to see a sea turtle while snorkeling, and I was captivated by the very mystical world of the pumpkin cave. Especially in the pumpkin cave, with the guide's help, I climbed the walls and was even splashed by a waterfall. It far exceeded my expectations for the tour, and I'm really glad I participated. We participated as a family of four, but due to the typhoon, it was canceled. Just when we were feeling disappointed, we were offered the opportunity to go kayaking in the inland sea. When we arrived that day, there were many people gathered, and a handsome guide suggested snorkeling at a different location. They flexibly changed the plan, and as a result, we had a wonderful snorkeling experience.
The service was very polite, and even our children, who were experiencing this for the first time, felt safe participating. When introducing children to nature, in a new place, and with new experiences, safety and reassurance are the top priorities, so we were very grateful for the way they handled everything.
During snorkeling, we were able to swim alongside sea turtles and beautifully colored tropical fish at an arm's length, and our entire family was extremely satisfied.

当日行くと大勢人が集まっており、イケメンのガイドさんが再度別の場所でのシュノーケリングをご提案。臨機応変にプラン変更していただけ、結果素晴らしいシュノーケリング体験ができました。
対応も非常に丁寧で、初体験の子どもも安心して参加出来ました。
自然相手で、初めての場所、初めての体験を子どもにさせる際、やはり安心安全が最優先となる中でこのような対応をして頂けたのがとても有り難かったです。
シュノーケリングはウミガメや美しい色をした南国の魚が手に取るような距離で一緒に泳ぐことができ、家族全員が大満足でした。

I was planning to try some water activities when I went to Miyako Island, and I had a lot of fun experiencing activities I had never done before. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was able to paddle while stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. The snorkeling was truly beautiful and refreshing. Caving was an unknown experience that made my heart race. The instructors were kind and great. Naoki Man taught me about the flowers and creatures along the way, allowing me to fully enjoy Miyako Island.

I found an activity that my two-and-a-half-year-old son can enjoy. I was worried he might cry since he doesn't even like getting water on his face in the bath, but thanks to the staff, who are experienced in handling children and were very kind, he had a great time. Instead of crying, he was fascinated by looking for fish at the bottom of the transparent boat and searching for crabs among the rocks.
The waves were calm, and the staff provided thorough explanations on how to paddle the kayak beforehand, making it easy to handle. Even those who are not good at swimming can enjoy the sea.
If you have small children, I highly recommend participating!
2歳半の息子でも楽しめるアクティビティを探してて見つけました。お風呂で顔に水がかかるのも嫌がるぐらいなので泣き出さないか心配していましたが、スタッフの皆様が子供の対応にも慣れていて、優しく接して気を紛らわせてくれたおかげでとても楽しめました。泣くどころか透明ボートの底を見て魚を探したり、岩場の蟹を探すのに夢中になっていました。
波も穏やかでカヤックも事前にスタッフの方が丁寧に漕ぎ方の説明をしてくださるので簡単に扱えて、泳ぎが苦手な方でも海を楽しめます。

In mid-July, under clear skies, we rented one clear SUP and one clear kayak. My wife was a bit nervous, worrying about what would happen if she fell, so we decided on the kayak for her.
First, my wife tried the SUP while I took the kayak. I thought we could switch if it didn't go well, but she managed to stand up easily and even went out further. During our free time, we switched between the SUP and kayak and enjoyed both.
Each group had a staff member with us, which made us feel very secure. They taught us how to paddle, stand, and maintain balance effectively, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sea.
The ocean is truly stunning! We even saw Nemo and Dory. As we are in our mid-50s, we want to experience as much as we can now, as there may be age restrictions in the future that could prevent us from doing so.
Finally, we were moved by the edited footage from the drone we had filmed. We want to cherish and protect the sea of Miyako Island while enjoying it!
7月中旬快晴の中、クリアサップとクリアカヤックそれぞれ1台ずつかりました。妻がビビって、落ちたらどうしようとか不安がっていたので、1台はカヤックにしました(^^;)
まずは、妻がサップを体験、私がカヤック。ダメだったら変わろうと思っていたのですが、難なく立つこともでき、さらに沖合まで行きました。自由時間にサップとカヤックを交代して両方楽しむことができました(^o^)
スタッフも1組に1人ずつ付いていただいて、すごく安心してできました。こぎ方、立ち方、バランスの取り方、ポイントを上手に教えていただきましたので、楽しくきれいな海を堪能できました。
本当に海が綺麗です！ニモやドリーも見えました。
50代半ばの私たちは、今後、年齢制限があって、やれない場合もあるかもしれないので、今のうちにいろんなことを体験したいです。
最後に、ドローン撮影した映像を編集していただき、感動です。
宮古島の海を大切に、守りながらも楽しんでいきたいですね♪

I'm not sure if we received all the footage from the drone and photography sessions, but I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a shot of us waving at the drone at the end.
However, after the experience, the staff created an original video for us, and the quality was high, which was very moving.
