You can meet sea turtles right away! There are also many beautiful fish, and it's so much fun that time flies by while you're diving. I wish I could have swum more.

It seems that it is difficult to encounter suitable weather at Sapphire Cave, so we quickly changed to snorkeling to meet the sea turtle, Nimo. Our guide, Kazuki, was very efficient in leading us, and beyond just enjoying the experience, I felt a sense of professionalism from his work perspective. I was surprised to learn how young he is. The instructors for SUP canoeing and snorkeling were different, but they taught the basics in a very thorough and kind manner, allowing beginners like me to enjoy it even alone.

SUPorカヌー、及びシュノーケリングの異なるインストラクターでしたが、基礎的な事を懇切丁寧に教えて頂き、初心者、且つ1人でも十分楽しめました。

Due to the impact of the typhoon, I couldn't go snorkeling... However, I had a great time experiencing stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time! I wasn't very good at it, but Rintaro (the staff member) helped me out and taught me a lot!

Although it was a short time, a kind, polite, and very friendly young man provided support with safety as the top priority, allowing us to have a wonderful time. He was also knowledgeable about sea turtles and the ocean, teaching us many great things about Miyako Island. It was my first time snorkeling and I wasn't good at swimming, but Yamachan taught me carefully, so I was able to enjoy it from start to finish! I was able to see sea turtles, and they took me to spots with various fish like Nemo, which was a lot of fun. Thank you, Yamachan and Soichiro!

I wanted to go on a tour of the Yaeyama Islands, but everywhere was fully booked, so I signed up for this tour at Shinjo Beach, and it was ten times better than I imagined! The clear sea was filled with large sea turtles, and the bright personality of our guide, Yamachan, along with his underwater filming techniques, made for a truly satisfying experience.

Since I had a flight to Naha at 1 PM, I opted for the early tour at 7 AM, which turned out to be a great decision. By 7 AM, the free parking lot at Shinjo Beach was already full, and those who arrived later had to park in the paid lot for 2,000 yen. The waters around Miyako Island are very clear, but it seems that the clarity diminishes as time passes throughout the morning.

While in the water, we always wore life jackets, but at Shinjo Beach, the water is shallow enough to stand, so I think it's fine for those who are not comfortable in the sea. Watching the sea turtles eat seagrass was truly adorable, and I could have watched them forever. Participants floated around watching the turtles while Yamachan filmed us from various angles with a GoPro. We received the videos via AirDrop right after the tour. He also shared his LINE so we could ask him anything about Miyako Island!

While I plan to visit the Yaeyama Islands another time, I’m really glad I participated in this tour at Shinjo Beach. Thank you, Yamachan!

行きたかった八重干瀬のツアーがどこも満席で取れず、この新城海岸のツアーを申し込んだのですが、想像の10倍良かったです！透き通った海に大きな海亀がたくさんいて、ガイドのやまちゃんの明るいキャラクターと水中撮影のテクニックが相待って、大満足でした。

午後1時台の那覇行きのフライトを控えていたので、朝7時の早い回にしたのですが、それが大正解でした。朝7時には新城海岸の無料駐車場が満車になり、その後に来た人たちは2,000円の有料駐車場に停めなくてはいけない状態でした。また宮古島の海は透明度が高いですが、それでも朝から時間の経過と共に透明度がくすんでくるようです。

海にいる時は常時ライフジャケットを着ていますが、新城海岸は遠浅で足が付くくらいの水位ですので、海が苦手な人にも問題ないかと思います。海亀が水草を食べる様子は本当に可愛く、ずっと見ていられます。参加者はプカプカと浮きながら亀を見ていれば、やまちゃんが色んな角度からGoProで動画を撮ってくれます。動画はツアー終了後にAirDropで直ぐにもらうことが出来ました。あとは宮古島のことは何でも聞いてください！とやまちゃんのLINEを教えてもらいました。

八重干瀬はまたの機会に行くとして、新城海岸のこのツアーに参加して本当に良かったです。やまちゃん、ありがとうございました！

We had a very relaxing snorkeling experience with just four adults! It was almost my first time snorkeling, but I was able to meet a turtle and create the best memories!

Due to bad weather, we couldn't do snorkeling and SUP at the planned location, but they suggested an alternative spot. As a result, we unexpectedly got to see sea turtles, which made us very happy. The SUP instructor was a really funny guy, so we were never bored. It was a lot of fun.

悪天候で予定のポイントでのシュノーケルとSUPが出来ませんでしたが、別ポイントでの開催を提案して頂きました。結果、予定外にウミガメにも会うこともできとても満足です。SUPのインストラクターのお兄さんがとても面白い方だったので全く退屈しませんでした。とても楽しかったです。

I had planned a trip to visit the Blue Cave, but unfortunately, the tour was canceled the day before, and I was considering canceling my plans. However, since I was already there, I decided to participate in the changed sea turtle snorkeling tour! Thanks to our guide, Soma, I had an unexpectedly fun snorkeling experience. Moreover, I got to encounter sea turtles and swam around excitedly! I also had many wonderful photos taken, making it a fantastic memory!

I participated in a SUP and snorkeling session that ended in the morning at the beginning of September, when the weather can be quite changeable. The weather was nice, and during low tide, the sea sparkled, making the coral visible up close. I struggled to keep up with the SUP until I got the hang of it, but since it was early in the morning, there were few people around, and I was able to jump into the sea and enjoy a refreshing time.

I had a hard time finding a turtle while snorkeling and thought I might not see one, but I kept swimming. Thanks to the instructor who didn’t give up searching, I was finally able to meet a turtle leisurely eating at the end.

Since I had arranged for transportation, getting around was easy, and I got to hear interesting stories about island life and was recommended some delicious places to eat. I had some anxiety about being back in the sea after a long time, but from start to finish, Ricky's smile encouraged me, and my family was able to have a great time!

天候が変わりやすい9月頭に午前中で終わるSUPとシュノーケリングに参加しました。天気もよく、干潮で海がキラキラと珊瑚が近い距離に見えました。SUPは慣れるまでついてくのに必死だったけど、朝イチだったので人も少なく、海に飛び込んだり気持ちのいい時間を過ごせました。シュノーケリングはなかなか亀さんが見つからず、見れないかなーと思ってましたが、ひたすら泳ぐ泳ぐ。お姉さんが諦めずに探してくれたおかげで最後にのんびり食事中の亀さんに会うことができました。
今回は送迎をお願いしてたので移動も楽に、車内では島の暮らしや、いろんな面白い話を聞かせてもらったり、美味しいお店も教えてもらえました。久しぶりの海に不安があったけど、最初から最後まで担当のリッキーの笑顔に励まされ家族で楽しむことができました！

The public parking lot is full by 8:30 AM, so it's better to arrive early.

Our family of six were beginners, but thanks to the careful guidance from staff member Hikaru, we were able to see various marine life such as sea turtles, Nemo, and pufferfish. They took into consideration the children and made sure to choose the best times and locations for us, so we felt safe and comfortable.

10-year-old girl: I never thought I would see multiple sea turtles!
7-year-old boy: I was nervous at first because I couldn't even put my face in the water, but Hikaru stayed with me and taught me, so I was able to see the sea turtles and had a lot of fun.

家族6名初心者でしたがスタッフ光さんの丁寧なレクチャーのおかげでウミガメやニモやフグなどいろいろ見ることが出来ました。
子供にも配慮しつつ、なるべくベストな条件
になるように時間や場所(ポイント)を決めていただいたので安心して過ごせました。
10歳女の子:まさかウミガメが複数見れるとは思わなかったです。
7歳男の子:水に顔をつけることも出来なかったので最初は不安だったけど光さんがずっと付いて教えてくれたからウミガメを見れて楽しかった。

I mistakenly registered the wrong schedule this time, but they were flexible in changing it to a time when I could meet the sea turtles. As a result, I was able to see the sea turtles up close and had the best experience swimming with them. Nemo was also very cute!

The guide, Hikaru, who assisted us this time, was always polite and treated the children kindly, which was very nice. Unlike many guides who prioritize their own pace with a youthful vibe, Hikaru prioritized the participants' pace and interacted gently from the children's perspective, which left a strong impression on me! I highly recommend Hikaru's guidance for families participating in this activity.

今回、間違えてスケジュールを登録してしまったのですが、ウミガメに会える時間帯への柔軟なスケジュール変更も対応してくれました。
結果としてウミガメを間近に見ることができ、一緒に泳ぐ最高の体験ができました。
ニモもとっても可愛かったです！

今回案内してくださったガイドのヒカルさんが、終始丁寧な対応をしてくださり、子供達にも優しく接してくれてとても良かったです。
若者ノリの自身のペースを優先するガイドさんが多い中、参加者のペースを優先してくださり、子供目線で優しく接してくれるこちらのガイドのヒカルさんは、とても印象に残りました！！

Stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling were amazing!! The instructors, Rin and Hinata, were very friendly and kept us entertained with various stories. Their teaching skills were excellent, and I was able to stand up on the paddleboard right away. During snorkeling, I even encountered a sea turtle, which made me very satisfied. I definitely want to come back to Miyako Island again!

I participated in the 7 o'clock tour. I was worried about whether I would be able to see sea turtles, but as the title promised, I really got to see them! They were so cute. I learned a lot about turtles and Miyako Island from Yamachan, and I completely fell in love with Miyako Island. When I come back to Miyako Island, I want to go snorkeling with Yamachan again! We participated as a family. The guide, Hikaru, warmly interacted with my foreign husband in English, and thanks to him, we created wonderful memories! We encountered sea turtles right by the beach, and I was so moved as they came so close to my feet that I worried I might kick them.

He also accurately guided us to spots with Nemo and beautiful blue tropical fish, and I keep revisiting the amazing photos and videos we took from such great angles.

My husband had to leave the group midway due to eye pain, so I definitely want to join the tour again next time for a revenge trip! I apologize for any concern we caused. Thank you very much!

Under the guidance of Komecchi, I received a lecture on how to use the snorkeling equipment, and we encountered a sea turtle almost immediately after starting! I was so moved to see a sea turtle up close so quickly, as I didn't expect it at all. 🥹

We were also taken to areas with lots of coral reefs and fish, and they quickly sent us many photos and videos! Initially, I had booked the 9 AM tour, but considering the clarity of the water and the crowds, they recommended switching to the 7 AM tour, which turned out to be a great decision! By 9 AM, there were quite a few more people around.

Komecchi's guidance was also enjoyable! I made wonderful memories. Thank you very much! 😊

We participated in our first stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experience and sea turtle snorkeling as a family of five on Miyako Island. It was our first time doing SUP, but the staff were very cheerful and kind, which made us feel safe and glad we participated. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles while snorkeling, but a funny guy from Kansai with a wonderful smile worked hard to take pictures with Nemo, and we are grateful for the lovely memories captured in those photos. We participated as a family of four. After the typhoon, the event was rescheduled by a day, and thanks to that, the sea was clear and very beautiful. Our guide, Hikaru, was very kind and attentive, allowing us to enjoy the sea with peace of mind. The various stories shared were also enjoyable. We got to see sea turtles and Nemo, and we took wonderful photos, which made us very satisfied! All the pictures were fantastic, which was another pleasant surprise. The kids also seemed very happy, saying, "The big brother was so nice!" Thank you for sharing information about restaurants and tourist spots! We created the best memories in Miyako Island, and I am truly grateful. If we come to Miyako Island again, we would definitely like to request this tour! I highly recommend it! ❤︎

It was my first time snorkeling, but the guidance from our instructor, Hikaru, was easy to understand, and even I, who am not good at swimming, was able to swim smoothly!

Although the waves were a bit rough before the typhoon, I was glad to see sea turtles, Nemo, and many other fish.

The photos and videos were taken beautifully, creating memories for a lifetime!

Hikaru also recommended some great restaurants, which was very helpful!

I wanted to go to the Blue Cave, so I signed up for this tour, but for the past three weeks, due to issues with the waves and tide levels, we couldn't go, and it was changed to snorkeling at Shigira Beach.

It was disappointing, but the changed location of Shigira Beach had perfect facilities like the sea, food, and restrooms. Even after the typhoon, the water clarity was high, and it truly felt like a natural aquarium! The kids were also very satisfied. I'll save the Blue Cave for another opportunity.

After that, we moved to a different spot for my first experience with SUP, and the instructors were kind and warm, making it a lot of fun! Even after the tour ended and we parted ways, they kindly helped me with my private plans for the following days, and I plan to follow their advice tomorrow. Thank you, Kyoppi!

Also, one of the other instructors was from the same hometown, and we had a great time chatting about local niche topics. I hope you can reconcile with your dad soon (laughs).

青の洞窟に行きたくて、このツアーに申し込んだのですが、ここ3週間ほど波と潮位の問題で行けてないとのことで、シギラビーチのシュノーケリングに変更となりました。

残念でしたが、変更となったシギラビーチは海、食事、トイレなど設備が完璧に整ったビーチで、台風のあとでも海の透明度が高く、本当に自然の水族館のようでした！子どもたちも大満足でした。青の洞窟はまた次の機会に置いておきます。

その後、場所を少し移動してSUPの初体験をしたのですが、インストラクターの方々が親切で温かく、とても楽しめました！ツアーが終わって別れたあとも、翌日以降のプライベートの予定について親身に相談にのっていただき、明日は言われた通りに行動しようと思っています。きょっぴさん、ありがとうございました！

また、別のインストラクターの1人の方がピンポイントで地元がいっしょで、地元のマニアックな話で盛り上がり、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。早くお父さんと仲直りできるといいですね(笑)
