I wanted to try stand-up paddleboarding, but my husband preferred canoeing. Just when I was thinking of giving up, I found out that we could choose either option! On top of that, the boards were clear, so we could see clownfish and colorful fish swimming below. 当日はあいにくの天候でしたが、9時にシギラビーチ集合してシュノーケリング、そのまま洞窟のある浜に移動して少し休憩後にシーカヤックとパンプキン洞窟と、天候が酷くなる前に柔軟にスケジュール調整して催行頂きました。前日は波が高くカヤックと洞窟は催行中止になったそうなので、時間の工夫で催行頂けたのは有難かったです。
シュノーケリングでは、ウミガメの他、隠れクマノミやチョウチョウウオ、ツノダシなど熱帯魚を多く見る事ができて良かった。宮古島は魚種がとても多くお薦めです。ツアー案内に記載ないですが、ウェットスーツは貸してくれます。それでも海から上がると、さすがにこの時期は寒かったのですが、ガイドの方がお湯の入ったペットボトルを用意してくれていて助かりました。
洞窟までのシーカヤックはこの日は波が少し高く、かなり疲れました。普段使わない筋肉を使うので翌日は筋肉痛w
