This was my first time using the sunset cruising plan. Since it was also my first trip to Miyako Island, I boarded the ship looking forward to enjoying the sunset over the sea. I was worried about the weather because a typhoon was approaching, but the boat was comfortable and didn't sway at all.

As soon as we set sail, I was able to see a very beautiful sunset from the observation deck. It was a bit disappointing that there was only a short time to enjoy the sunset since it was getting dark earlier. The first floor had a room full of glass windows where you could see the underwater scenery, but unfortunately, nothing was visible in the evening.

The dinner buffet had a variety of options, including Okinawan cuisine and Western dishes, and I ended up eating quite a bit. After dinner, there was a mini live performance by the staff. We enjoyed performances of songs by BEGIN and Okinawan folk music. The highlight was when we all danced the Kachashi together with the shout of "Iya-sasa" at the end of the live show; it was the most exciting and fun part.

I would like to use this service again if I have the chance. Next time, I want to go during the day to see the beautiful fish.

今回は初めてサンセットクルージングプランを利用しました。
宮古島への旅行も初めてだったので、海の上からの夕日を楽しみに乗船しました。
台風が近づいていたので、天候が心配でしたが、船も揺れることなく快適でした。
出港してすぐに展望デッキからはとてもきれいな夕日を見ることができました。
日が落ちるのが早くなっていたのもあって、夕日を楽しむ時間が少ししかなかったのが残念でした。
一階はガラス窓がいっぱいの部屋で海中の様子が見えるようになっていましたが、さすがに夕方の時間は何も見えなかったです。笑
ディナービュッフェは飲み物は別料金で沖縄料理や洋食などいろいろな種類があって、結構食べ過ぎてしまいました。
ディナーの後はスタッフによるミニライブがありました。
BEGINの曲や沖縄民謡などの演奏で盛り上がりました。
ライブの最後にイーヤーサーサーのかけ声とともにみんなでカチャーシーを踊ったのが一番盛り上がったし、楽しかったです。
また機会があれば利用したいと思います。
次は昼間の時間にキレイな魚を見に行きたいです。

At the end of September, just between typhoons, I visited Miyako Island for the first time in a while. After arriving at the airport and renting a car, I checked into my hotel. After a short break, I headed to the port to board a sunset cruise for the first time.

Upon arrival, I boarded the ship and was guided by a staff member to secure my seat. Since I boarded early, I took a stroll around the ship. It was more luxurious than I had imagined! I was surprised to see that the lower deck had glass panels, thinking I might see some fish, but it was evening at the port, so visibility was poor. I would love to try a tour where you can see fish!

Then we set sail! The buffet started! The buffet included Okinawan cuisine, and since we had just arrived on Miyako Island, it was great to immediately enjoy the Okinawan atmosphere.

We cruised while admiring the new Irabu Bridge and passing underneath it. The scenery was, of course, fantastic. However, it was a pity that the sunset was hidden by clouds and didn’t look beautiful, but we were blessed with good weather, which was truly wonderful.

The staff member was very kind and took many photos for us, which made the experience very pleasant. This was my first time experiencing a cruise dinner in Miyako Island, and thanks to the beautiful scenery and the gentle service from the staff, I was able to enjoy a new and wonderful side of Miyako Island. Thank you very much.

9月下旬ちょうど台風と台風の間、久しぶりに宮古島に行ってきました。
空港到着しレンタカーを借りてまずホテルにチェックイン。
一息して港へ…今回初めてのサンセットクルーズに乗船するために。
まず到着し乗船。お姉さんに案内され席を確保。早めに乗船したので船内をお散歩。想像以上に豪華でした。特に地下はガラス張りになっていてビックリ！お魚さんが見えるかも！と思いましたが港で夕方だし見えませんでした…お魚が見えるツアーも行ってみたいな…
そして出航！バイキングスタート！
バイキングは沖縄料理もあり私たちは宮古島到着当日だった為すぐに沖縄気分が味わえてよかったです。
新しい伊良部大橋を見ながらそして橋の下を通過するクルージング。もちろん景色は最高でした。
ただ夕日は雲に隠れてしまい綺麗に見えなかったのが残念ですがお天気には恵まれたので本当によかったです。
スタッフのお姉さんがとても親切で写真もたくさん撮っていただきとても気持ちがよかったです。
クルーズディナーを宮古島では初めて経験しましたが景色はもちろんスタッフの方達の優しい対応のおかげでまたた新しい素敵な宮古島を体験することが出来ました。

My best memory in Miyako Island. 宮古島で一番の思い出

On the second day of my 3-night, 4-day trip to Miyako Island, I used this service for dinner. Since it was a sunset cruise during a season prone to typhoons, I was quite anxious about whether we would be able to set sail and see the sunset depending on the weather that day. In fact, on that day, a typhoon was approaching, and it was uncertain whether we could go out. However, we managed to set sail without being affected by the typhoon. Once on board, I was pleased to see that the quality and quantity of the food for the 2.5-hour dinner cruise were more than sufficient. There was a wide variety of desserts, including cakes, fruits, and crème brûlée. There were also curry and bread, making it suitable even for families with children.

About 30 minutes after departure, since the sunset was around 6:30 PM, we moved to the observation area on the deck while feeling satisfied with our meal. Although it was somewhat cloudy that day, the sunset was perfect. While taking photos, the staff kindly offered to take pictures for us. As expected from a team that regularly interacts with customers on cruises, they took many wonderful photos. Thank you very much!

Afterward, when we returned inside the ship to enjoy the food again, we learned that there would be a live performance featuring the sanshin. I was looking forward to it, and it turned out to be a band made up of the staff members. They humbly mentioned that they could only do covers of BEGIN, but the atmosphere on the ship was lively with guests getting involved until we returned to shore. It was a very enjoyable live performance.

Everything from the food to the staff's attentiveness and the performance was fantastic! I would love to use this service again when I visit Miyako Island in the future!

3泊4日の宮古島旅行の2日目のディナーで利用させていただきました。サンセットクルーズということで、季節的に台風が多い時期の利用でしたので、当日の天気によって出航できるか、夕陽が見れるかどうかというのが大変不安でした。実際、当日は台風が近づいていて利用できるかどうかという状況でした。しかし、台風の影響を免れ無事出航することができました。船に乗船し、まず料理を拝見させて頂くと2時間半のディナークルーズには十分な料理の質と量でした。デザートもケーキにフルーツ、クレームブリュレなど種類が豊富でした。カレーやパンもありお子様がいらっしゃっても良いかと思われます。出航して30分程すると、この日の日の入りが18:30頃だったのでお腹も満足しつつな所で甲板の展望スペースへ移動することに。この日は、やや曇り気味でしたが日の入りはバッチリ。写真を撮っているとスタッフの方が快く写真を撮ってくださいました。さすがは日々クルーズでお客様対応されていることもあり素敵な写真をたくさん撮っていただきました。ありがとうございます(^^)
その後、船内に戻り再び料理を楽しんでいると三線のライブがあるとの事。楽しみにしているとスタッフの方々で演奏されるバンドだということでした。演奏される方々はBEGINのコピーしか出来ないと謙遜されていましたが、船内は岸に戻るまでお客さんを巻き込んでの大盛り上がり。とても楽しいライブでした。
料理からスタッフさんの心配りと演奏すべて素晴らしかったです！
また宮古島に行くことがある時に利用したいです！

I participated in July when it was very hot during the day. I was surprised by how large the ship was, more than I had expected. At first, I went directly to the ship, but it seemed I needed to exchange my ticket at the office on the second floor of a nearby port before that, so I ended up going back and forth. I thought it would have been better if there had been a large sign to guide us.

The cruise route went around the bay near Irabu Island. Since I had visited Irabu Island the day before, it was nice to see both the view from the island and the view of the island from the sea. As we approached the sightseeing points, the staff encouraged us to go to the observation deck. It was cloudy on the day of the cruise, and the color of the sea wasn't beautiful, but I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff.

If I were to request something regarding the meal, I think tourists would be happier with more local Miyako dishes. Also, it would be even better if the desserts were a bit more elaborate. That said, there was a wide variety of drinks, and with the sashimi available, I felt satisfied and full.

As mentioned in other reviews, there are surprise performances from the staff. It seems this is not publicly listed in the program, but I think if they promoted it as a highlight, it would become more popular. Personally, I enjoyed it more than the cruise itself.

Thanks to the kindness of all the staff, it became a wonderful memory. Thank you!

日中とても暑い7月に参加してきました。思っていたよりも大きな船でびっくりしました。最初、直接船に行ってしまったのですが、その前に少し離れた港の事務所二階でチケットを交換する必要があったようで、行ったり来たりしてしまいました。案内が大きく出ていれば良かったと思いました。

航海ルートは、伊良部島近辺の湾内を巡りました。前日に伊良部島へ行ったので、島からの景色と、海側からの島の景色とを両方見ることが出来良かったです。見所ポイント近くなると、スタッフの方が、展望デッキへどうぞ、と勧めてくれます。当日は曇り空で、海の色が綺麗ではありませんでしたが、スタッフの方の心遣いが嬉しかったです。

食事内容は、あえてリクエストするなら、もっと宮古らしい食べ物があれば、観光客は嬉しいのではないかと思いました。あとはデザートがもう少し凝っていれば尚嬉しいです。とは言え、ドリンクも種類豊富で、お刺身があったり、バラエティに富んでいてお腹いっぱいになりました。

他の方のクチコミにありましたが、スタッフの方々からサプライズの演出があります。プログラムには公に記載されていないようですが、それを目玉にアピールすれば、もっと人気が出るのではないかと思いました。個人的には、クルーズよりも楽しめました。

スタッフの皆さんの優しさで楽しい思い出になりました、ありがとうございました。

We decided to join a memorable tour as a couple since it was a special trip.

We started with dinner on the ship. It was a buffet, so we could eat as much as we liked, and I got hooked on the roasted duck, eating it almost exclusively. Since we were in Miyako Island, I ordered awamori, but I wasn't sure about the types available. When I asked the crew member, they explained it in detail and helped me choose a recommended one. It was a type that isn’t commonly found outside the prefecture, but it was very delicious and made my meal even more enjoyable.

The sunset, which was my main highlight, had slightly poor conditions due to clouds, but it was still really nice to see the sea dyed in shades of red from the sunset! Combined with the gentle rocking of the ship, I felt like I could watch it forever. If it looked that beautiful with clouds, it must be even more amazing with good weather. I definitely want to try again!

After the sun went down, there was a sanshin live performance on the ship! I was surprised to find out there would be a live show, but it turned out to be quite entertaining. They played famous songs mainly from BEGIN, and the atmosphere on the ship was lively. Some guests even got carried away and started dancing. While there are many izakayas in Miyako Island where you can listen to sanshin live, experiencing it on a ship was a rare treat. We had a great time until we returned to the port, and the sunset cruise flew by!

せっかくの旅行なので思い出に残るようなツアーに参加したくて夫婦で乗船しました。

最初は船内にてディナーからスタート。
ビュッフェ形式なので自分の好きなものが食べ放題なわけですが、私は鴨のローストにはまってそればかり食べてました。
お酒もせっかく宮古島に来たので泡盛を頼んだのですが、種類がわからなかたので船員さんに聞くと詳しく説明してくれてお勧めのものをチョイス。
県外にはあまり出回っていない種類のものだったのですが、とても美味しくますます食事も進みました。

一番お目当ての夕日は雲のため若干コンディションが悪かったのですが、それでも夕焼けの赤い色に染まった海の景色を見るのは本当に気持ちよかった！
船の揺れの心地よさと相まっていつまでも見ていたい気持ちになりました。
雲があってあれだけキレイなので天候に恵まれればさらに素晴らしいんでしょうね。
是非リベンジしたいです！

日が沈んだ後は船内で三線ライブ！
ライブがあることは知らなかったので驚きましたが、これがなかなか面白かった。
BEGINのナンバーを中心に有名どころを聞かせてくれて船内は大いに盛り上がりました。
盛り上がりすぎて踊っちゃうお客さんもちらほら。
宮古島には三線ライブが聞ける居酒屋はたくさんありますが船で聞けるってのはレアな体験でしたね。
港に戻るまでの時間も楽しく過ごし、あっという間のサンセットクルーズとなりました！

In early July, I participated in this tour. It was my first time in Miyako Island and my first cruise dinner. We gathered at the terminal at 5:30 PM, completed the check-in, and boarded the ship. We were taken to the restaurant on the second floor, where we received an overview of the cruise and an explanation of the dishes. The staff were very kind and friendly. They asked if we wanted to take photos while it was still light outside, which created great memories. The ship, Mont Blanc, is a large cruise ship that is very clean and luxurious, with comfortable air conditioning inside. On that day, after a typhoon had passed, it was a rough day with whitecaps, but the ship had minimal rocking, so I think even those prone to seasickness would be fine. Dinner started at 6 PM as we set sail. The meal was a buffet featuring Okinawan and Chinese cuisine, with a wide variety that was very satisfying. After dinner, we explored the ship. The first floor had large windows like a glass boat, allowing us to see underwater. From the third floor, we could go out onto the deck and enjoy the emerald green sea of Miyako Island while feeling the sea breeze. We anchored briefly on the west side of Irabu Island and enjoyed the sunset sinking on the horizon from the deck. After that, we returned to the restaurant for a live performance featuring the staff, including the head chef, playing the sanshin. It was a cover band of BEGIN, and the songs were familiar island tunes. The guests joined in, and by the end, everyone was dancing and singing, creating a lively atmosphere. The two and a half hours flew by. It was a wonderful cruise that showcased the staff's spirit of service, and it became my best memory of Miyako Island.

7月上旬、当該ツアーに参加しました。はじめての宮古島、はじめてのクルーズディナーでした。17時半、ターミナルに集合し、受付を済まし、各々船内へ入っていきます。2階にあるレストラン会場に通され、クルーズの概要、料理の説明を受けました。スタッフの方はとても親切で、気さくでした。明るいうちに写真撮りましょうか？とむこうから尋ねてくださり、いい思い出ができました。当船モンブラン号は、大型クルーズ船でとても清潔で高級感があり、船内は冷房もきいており、快適です。当日、台風通過後ということもあり、白波たつ、荒れた日だったのですが、揺れは少なく、船酔いしやすい方でも大丈夫だと思われます。18時出港と同時に食事のスタートです。食事は、沖縄料理、中華料理を中心としたビュッフェ形式で、種類も多く大変満足でした。食事後は船内探索をしました。1階部分は、ガラスボートの様に、大きな窓があり、海中が覗けるようになっております。3階部分からはデッキに出ることができ、海風を感じながら、宮古島のエメラルドグリーンの海を楽しむことができます。伊良部島の西側でしばし停泊し、デッキから地平線上に沈むサンセットを楽しみました。その後、レストランに戻り、料理長含むスタッフの方々による三線ライブがありました。BEGINのコピーバンドということで、島唄はじめ、聞き馴染みのある歌でした。お客さんも巻き込み、最後は皆で踊り、歌い、大盛り上がりでした。あっという間の2時間半でした。スタッフの方々のサービス精神感じる、素晴らしいクルーズで、宮古島での1番の思い出となりました。

I signed up for a lunch cruise and was excited to see the Mont Blanc while out for a morning walk, especially with the beautiful white ship. As soon as we boarded, the staff provided a thorough explanation, and we began our meal. It was nice to have the opportunity to enjoy our meal leisurely before departure. Of course, even after we set sail, we could freely enter and exit the buffet area as many times as we wanted. After exploring the ship, we enjoyed some dessert, making for a delightful experience.

Regarding the meal, since it was lunch, I honestly didn't have high expectations, but the dishes were quite varied, and both the taste and service were very satisfying. When we finished our meal, the ship stopped at a spot where we could see fish swimming in the sea, and we were able to gaze into the water from the Aqua Lounge. The Aqua Lounge was also very luxurious, making it feel like we were in a spaceship. The other areas of the ship were equally lavish, making it worthwhile just to explore!

We spent a wonderfully relaxing time on the deck, enjoying the sea breeze while looking at the ocean and the Irabu Bridge. (Be careful of sunburn, though, as it was so pleasant!) Above all, the staff's service was outstanding, and the food and the ship itself exceeded our expectations, making for a great value experience.

While snorkeling and diving in Miyako Island are the main attractions, I absolutely recommend taking some time for such a luxurious experience! For those who had their wedding in Miyako Island, I believe using this for a second party or dining event would surely create wonderful memories. Next time, I definitely want to participate in the beautiful sunset dinner and sunset cruise around the Irabu Bridge. It became the best memory along with the beautiful Miyako Island blue!

ランチクルーズで申し込みをしましたが、朝散歩に出かけた時にモンブランを見かけ真っ白な船にワクワクしました。
乗船と同時にスタッフの方から丁寧に説明を受け食事開始。出港前にゆっくり食事が出来るのも良かった。
もちろん出港後も自由に何度でもブッフェ会場には出入り自由です。船内探索後にデザートをいただいたり、と満喫できます。
食事内容ですが、ランチということもあり正直あまり期待していませんでしたが、料理もバラエティーに富んでおり味・サービス共に大変満足のいくものでした。
食事がひと段落した頃、海の中を泳ぐ魚のポイントで船を停めていただきアクアラウンジから海中を眺める事が出来ます。アクアラウンジもとても豪華で宇宙船にいるようです。
別室の船内も豪華で見学するだけでも価値あり！
私たちはデッキで潮風に吹かれながら海や伊良部大橋を眺めている時間がとても気持ちよくのんびり過ごせました。（気持ち良過ぎて日焼けには要注意ですよ(^^♪）
何よりスタッフの方の対応が素晴らしいのと料理・船内ととても満足のいくものでお値段以上の時間を過ごすことが出来ました。
海でシュノーケルやダイビングが宮古島の醍醐味ですが、たまにはこうした優雅な時間は絶対お薦めです！！
宮古島でウエディングをされた方・・
2次会や食事会に利用されたらきっと素敵な時間を過ごすことが出来ると思います。
次回は夕日のきれいなディナー＆サンセットクルーズ・伊良部大橋遊覧にぜひ参加したいと思います。
美しい宮古島ブルーと共に最高の思い出になりました(^^)/

As we approached the turquoise lagoon beyond the emerald green sea, a cheer erupted from us cruise participants on the deck. Some participants even sweetly asked, "Can we get a little closer to that lagoon?" We were already close to the surrounding coral reefs, so we couldn't go any further, but the turquoise lagoon was radiating such enchanting colors.

We participated in this tour in early June. The weather forecast had predicted 100% rain until the day before, but fortunately, the sky above the ship was clear on the day of the tour! From the ship's deck, we could enjoy the view of rain falling vigorously from the cumulonimbus clouds floating about a kilometer away on the horizon, as well as the beautifully curved Irabu Bridge and Ikema Bridge from the sea. It was refreshing!

And the highlight we were most looking forward to was the lunch buffet... The flavors were just right, and we enjoyed it deliciously. There was a wide variety of salad vegetables, and the other dishes were also plentiful. The ship starts check-in 30 minutes before boarding. Once check-in is complete, it seems you can board and enjoy the lunch buffet. Unfortunately, we arrived at the ferry terminal just before the last boarding, so we reflected, "It's best to act early and promptly."

About a month has passed since then, but what I remember most is the smiles and kindness of the staff. They took photos for us and served us attentively... Thank you very much.

Lastly... This tour also included a special gift from the staff. This surprise, heartfelt present made me feel warm inside. For those who will participate in the tour in the future... please enjoy yourselves! 😊

エメラルドグリーンの海原の先にターコイズ溜が出現すると、デッキにいる私達クルーズ参加者等から一斉に歓声があがりました。参加者から「あそこ（ターコイズ溜）までもう少し近づけませんか？」と可愛らしい要望まで飛び出していたほどです。既にターコイズ溜を取り囲む隆起サンゴ礁群にまで接近していたためそれ以上進めませんでしたが、それほどターコイズ溜は魅惑的な光色を放ってました。
　私達がこのツアーに参加したのは６月上旬です。天気予報では前日まで100％雨予報でしたが･･･嬉しいことに当日、船の上空は晴天でした！　船のデッキから約1キロほど先の水平線上に浮かぶ入道雲から勢いよく落下する雨や流線美しい伊良部大橋・池間橋を海上から望むことができ、その眺望を充分に堪能しました。爽快でしたよ！

　そして、私達が最も楽しみにしていたのがランチビュッフェです･･･味も丁度よく美味しく頂きました。サラダ野菜の品種も多く、その他のお料理も充実してました。船は乗船開始３０分前から受付を開始します。受付が完了すれば、乗船してランチビュッフェを利用することが可能なようです。残念ながら私達は乗船最終に渡船場に着いたため「何事も早め、早めの行動が吉を呼ぶね」と反省しきりでした。

　あれから一か月ほど経ちましたが、一番思い出されるのはスタッフの皆様の笑顔と親切です。写真を撮って下さったり、甲斐甲斐しく給仕して下さったり･･･。
　本当に、ありがとうございました。

Every year, my husband and I treat ourselves to a trip to Okinawa. This year, we chose Miyako Island because there were direct flights from Kansai Airport and the Irabu Bridge had opened. It was our second visit to Miyako Island. Before our trip, I searched for optional tours and found a sunset dinner cruise on the VELTRA website, which I booked. I always look forward to sunset cruises when I come to Okinawa, but this was my first experience on a large cruise ship with dinner included. It was also my first time using VELTRA, so I was a bit anxious.

On the day of the cruise, we went to the second floor of the Hirara Marine Terminal to exchange our tickets close to the departure time. The Hirara Port was so quiet that I briefly wondered if we were in the right place, but the ticket exchange went smoothly. As the time approached, more and more people gathered, and we finally boarded. The Mont Blanc was very beautiful and luxurious inside. The crew members guided us with smiles, and our elegant time began.

Once we set sail, there was a greeting, and the meal time started. The quality of the food was beyond my expectations, reminiscent of a hotel buffet. Since it was a large ship, there was no rocking, and we enjoyed our meal while sipping awamori. Everything was delicious. Afterward, we strolled around the ship taking photos and spent sunset time on the deck. Just as the sun was about to set, a sudden downpour hit the ship, but when I looked up at the sky, I was amazed to see an enormous semicircular rainbow over the sea, something I had never seen before (I took a photo, but it didn't capture the beauty as well as seeing it with my own eyes).

After that, a sanshin show began inside the ship, and we leisurely listened to songs by Begin, dancing the kachashi as encouraged, fully immersing ourselves in the Okinawan atmosphere. The performers were staff who usually worked in the kitchen, and the head chef was singing. After the show, they quickly changed and cleaned up, which was quite endearing. They were attentive, taking photos for us at various points, and it felt very considerate. It was a packed experience and became a wonderful memory. Now that we are both over 50, I thought that such elegant experiences are nice to have once in a while. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an adult getaway. I also think the cost performance was good. Thank you very much.

私たち夫婦は毎年一年間の自分たちへのご褒美として沖縄に来ています。今年は関空から宮古直行便が出たことと伊良部大橋が開通したことがあり宮古島をチョイスしました。２度目の宮古島でした。事前にオプショナルツアーを検索しVELTRAのサイトでサンセットディナークルーズを見つけ申し込みました。沖縄に来たらサンセットクルーズは毎回楽しみにしているのですがモンブランのような大きなクルーズ船でディナー付きは初めての経験でした。VELTRAの利用も初めてで少し不安もありました。当日出航時間近くにチケット交換の平良マリンターミナル２階にいきました。平良港があまりに閑散としていてここでよいのかと一瞬思いましたが問題なくチケット交換が終わり時間迫ってくると次々人が集まってきていよいよ乗船。モンブラン号は船内もすごく綺麗で豪華な感じでした。乗務員さんも笑顔で誘導してくださり優雅な時間が開始しました。出航したら挨拶があり食事タイム開始お料理は想像以上にクオリティーが高くホテルのバイキングのような感じでした。大型船なので揺れもなく泡盛を飲みながら食事を楽しみました。どれもおいしかったです。その後船内を写真を撮りながら散策しサンセットタイムをデッキで過ごしました。もう少しで夕日が沈むとき船上にはスコールが降りましたがふと空を見上げると海にかかる今まで見たことのないすごく大きな半円型の虹を見ることができ感動しました（写真を撮りましたが目で見るほどの写真が撮れませんでした(-_-;)）。その後は船内で三線ショーが始まりビギンの曲をまったり聞き勧められるままにカチャーシーを踊ったりし沖縄気分を満喫しました。ショーをしていたのは普段厨房で働くスタッフで歌っていたのは総料理長ということでショーが終わるとすぐに着替え片付けなどされていてほほえましい感じでした。随所に写真を撮ってくれたり気配りを感じました。盛りだくさんな感じで大変良い思い出になりました。私たちもともに５０歳を超えこういう優雅な感じもたまには良いもんだなと思いました。大人旅をする人にはお勧めしたいと思います。コストパフォーマンスもよいと思います。ありがとうございました。

The best experience on my trip to Miyako Island! The boat, the food, and the staff were all amazing!

First, the boat. It was larger than I expected, and the interior had a refined and calm atmosphere. It was very clean, with attention to detail in the cleaning, and the restrooms were also very hygienic. The most impressive part was the underwater observation room. It felt like a stylish bar!

Next, the food. This was my second trip to Miyako Island, and this was by far the best! The taste, presentation, and portion sizes were all excellent! There were fewer people on the lunch cruise that day, but the portions were generous, and there was a wide variety of dishes, which felt luxurious. The crème brûlée for dessert was rich, and I ended up going back for seconds!

Finally, the staff. Their thoughtful attention and the smiles of the staff were wonderful. The atmosphere was very comfortable with just the right amount of distance.

The view of the blue sea and sky from the boat was truly soothing. If I go to Miyako Island again, I will definitely take this cruise again! Next time, a dinner cruise sounds nice too!

次に料理。
宮古島旅行は2回目ですが、その中ではダントツの1番！味よし盛り付け良し量も良し‼︎この日のランチクルーズに参加した人は少なめでしたが、各料理の量が多く、品数も豊富で贅沢な感じがしました。デザートのクレームブリュレは濃厚で、何度もおかわりしてしまいた。
最後にスタッフさん。
きめ細かい気遣い、そしてスタッフのみなさんの笑顔が素敵です。適度な距離感でとても居心地が良かったです。

I wanted to see the sunset with my girlfriend at the beautiful sea of Miyako Island, and initially planned to watch it at Maehama Beach when I came across this tour. I thought it would be more romantic to enjoy dinner on the sea rather than at the beach, so I decided to join this tour for our dinner experience.

The flow of the tour was as follows: we gathered at the port on the day of the tour, showed our tickets to board, enjoyed dinner, and watched the sunset over the sea of Miyako Island from the deck. We also passed under the Irabu Bridge, which is the longest bridge in Japan that you can cross for free, and observed the underwater scenery, allowing us to spend our time leisurely. After finishing our meal, we mainly relaxed on the deck, reminiscing about the day and discussing our remaining travel plans.

As for the dinner, it was a buffet-style meal similar to what you would find at a hotel restaurant. To be honest, it wasn't exceptionally delicious, but having dinner on a cruise ship made for a memorable experience. On that day, there was a woman celebrating her birthday among the guests, and there was a lovely surprise with a folk song performance by the chefs.

Regarding the sunset, it was a clear day, and we were able to see a beautiful orange sunset. It seems that if you're lucky, you might even see an emerald green sunset, but various weather conditions are necessary for that. Those who get to see it are truly fortunate, as it happens only a few times a year!

Additionally, we were lucky enough to observe a swimming sea turtle while underwater, which became an even more cherished memory than the sunset (laughs). I hope everyone gets to see one too! Seeing a sea turtle naturally brings happiness and creates wonderful travel memories.

As for advice on underwater observation, sunlight is very important for seeing underwater, so if you're joining this tour, I recommend wrapping up dinner early or doing the observation first to enjoy the beautiful blue sea.

　彼女と宮古島の綺麗な海で夕日が見たいと思い、当初は前浜ビーチで見ようとプランニングしていたところ本ツアーを目にしました。どうせならビーチではなく海の上でもっとロマンチックン雰囲気でディナーと一緒に満喫したいと思い、旅のディナーに本ツアーに参加しました。流れは、当日港で集合し、①チケットを見せ乗船②ディナー③日が落ちていく、宮古島の海をデッキで見たり、無料で渡れる日本一長い橋である伊良部大橋の下を通過したり、海中を観察したり、、、とゆっくり時間を過ごせます。私たちは、ご飯を済ませ、主に、デッキで海を見てその日の思い出や残りの旅のプラン等を話しながらゆっくり過ごしました。ディナーについてですが、ホテルのレストランのようなビュッフェタイプのディナーでした。味は、正直なところ格別おいしいということはありませんでしたが、クルーズ船で食べるディナーは思い出になりました。当日、一緒だったお客さんに誕生日の女性がいらしたようで、シェフの方たちによる民謡ショーが行われる素敵なサプライズがありました。夕日に関しては、当日は晴れていて、オレンジの綺麗な夕日を見ることが出来ました。また、運が良ければ、エメラルドグリーンの夕日を見ることが出来るそうでしたが、様々な気象条件が必要らしいです。それを見ることが出来るのは年に数える程度なので、今後参加される方で見ることが出来た方は強運の持ち主ですね！！その他、海中観察で運良く、泳いでいる海がめを観察することが出来たのが、夕日以上に二人の思い出になりました（笑）皆さんも見れるといいですね！海がめを見ると自然と幸福な気持ちになれ、旅の良い思い出になりますよ。海中観察のアドバイスですが、海中を見るには太陽光が非常に重要になりますので、本ツアーに参加される方は、ディナータイムを早めに切り上げるか最初に観察をするようにすると綺麗な青い海中を観察できると思います。以上、皆様の旅の参考までに感想を述べさせてもらいました！！宮古島で良い旅を過ごしてください！！Have a good trip!!

This time, I participated in this tour because I couldn't go into the sea as a pregnant woman, so I decided to enjoy it without swimming. The interior of the Mont Blanc ship was very clean, and the decor and furniture had a luxurious feel. The air conditioning on board was comfortable, making it a great way to spend a hot midday.

As we set sail, we started with a buffet. There were many Western-style dishes, and the roast pork was served by a chef right on the spot. For dessert, there were various fruits, mini cakes, and warabi mochi. Drinks included coffee, hojicha, and soft drinks. There was no alcohol.

When it was time for the meal, the staff guided us to the Aqua Lounge located at the bottom of the ship. We approached the shallow waters of Irabu Island during low tide. Although we kept a safe distance from the reefs for navigation safety, we could still see schools of shiny goggle-eye and the undulations of the seabed, enjoying the natural beauty of the sea. Additionally, when we went up to the deck, we were greeted with views of the Irabu Bridge and the marine blue and emerald sea. The breeze was pleasant.

I’m not sure if this happens all the time, but during this trip, there was a performance by a sanshin band made up of the chefs and staff. A friendly local who happened to be on board started a kachashi dance, and other guests joined in, mimicking the moves. It was a fun tour where I felt the warm spirit of service from the staff.

今回は、妊婦で海に入れなかったため、海に入らずに楽しもう、とこのツアーに参加しました。モンブラン号船内はとても清潔で、内装や家具も高級感があります。船内は冷房がきいていて、暑い真昼の過ごし方としてもおすすめできます。
出港すると、まずはブッフェからスタート。洋風の料理が多めで、ローストポークは料理人がその場でとりわけてくれるスタイルです。デザートも、フルーツやプチケーキ数種類、わらびもちなど。ドリンクはコーヒーほうじ茶、ソフトドリンクなど。アルコールはありません。
お食事のころあいをみて、スタッフの方が船底にあるアクアラウンジに案内してくれます。ちょうど大潮の干潮で、伊良部島の浅瀬に向けて船を近づけてくれました。航行の安全考慮もあり、岩礁とは少し距離をとるため鮮明ではありませんが、光るグルクンの群れや、海底の起伏など、自然の海の中の様子を眺められます。また甲板にあがれば、伊良部大橋とマリンブルーとエメラルドの海模様。風もきもちいいです。
そして、いつもあるのかわかりませんが、この時は料理人などスタッフの方々による三線バンド演奏がありました。たまたま同乗されていたフレンドリーな地元の方々とのかけあいでカチャーシーがはじまり、ほかのお客さんも見よう見まねで踊りに参加。スタッフの方々のあたたかいサービス精神を感じる、楽しいツアーでした。
