Initially, it was scheduled to start at 19:30, but I received a message that it might clear up around 21:00 due to the clouds, so I decided to wait. During that time, there were actually a few moments when the clouds cleared, and I was able to take some photos. I could feel that they were doing their best to capture good shots despite the clouds, and I'm really glad I chose to come here. Since the moon is bright during this season, the focus was on the moon, but I would like to come back around summer when the focus is on the stars. Thank you very much!
当初19:30スタートの予定でしたが、雲が多いので21:00から晴れるかもしれないとの連絡をいただきせっかくなので待たせたいただきました。
そしたら本当に何回か雲がなくなる瞬間があり、その間に写真を取っていただきました。
雲がある中、あの手この手でなんとかいい写真を撮ろうとしてくれているのが伝わってきてここに頼んでよかったなと思います。
この時期は月が明るいので月メインとのことで、次回来る時は星メインの夏頃にまた来たいと思います。

Honestly, it was quite disappointing.
At the beginning of the explanation, it was emphasized that "coconut crabs can often be seen," but in the end, we only found a small hermit crab. The latter part was mostly excuses saying "they are mostly not around this season," which contradicted the initial explanation and was a bit disappointing.
I also had a photo of the starry sky taken, but it was blurry and there was no retake. I understand that there are parts that are beyond control since it's nature, but there was hardly any explanation or creativity from the guide regarding the wildlife, stars, or plants, giving the impression of just a "night walk" rather than a tour.
Looking around, all the participants also had expressions of dissatisfaction at the end. Honestly, 5,000 yen per person feels expensive for this. It would have been better if there had been more content and a sense of professionalism from the guide.

説明の冒頭では「ヤシガニがよく見られる」と強調されていましたが、結果的に見つかったのは小さなヤドカリ一匹だけ。後半は「今の季節はほとんどいない」との言い訳が中心で、最初の説明と矛盾している点も少し残念でした。
星空の写真も撮っていただきましたが、ブレていて撮り直しもなし。自然が相手なので仕方ない部分もあるとは思いますが、生物・星空・植物などガイドの説明や工夫がほとんどなく、ツアーというよりただの「夜の散歩」という印象でした。
周りを見渡すと、参加者も皆、消化不良の表情で終了。これで一人5,000円は正直高いと感じます。もう少し内容の補完やガイドさんのプロ意識を感じられたら良かったです。

As we moved forward with a flashlight in hand through the darkness, we encountered various tropical creatures such as coconut crabs, stick insects, frogs, and hermit crabs! The guide's explanations were clear, and we had a great time observing nature. The starry sky we looked up at at the end was breathtakingly beautiful, and we could see the Milky Way clearly. It was a special time that made us forget our daily lives, and we were both deeply moved. This is a wonderful tour that allows you to fully experience the charm of the night in Miyako Island.

I participated with the goal of seeing coconut crabs, and I was constantly impressed by our guide Yuri's knowledge of biology, hospitality, and English skills. Fortunately, the weather was clear, and we were able to enjoy a perfect starry sky, so he took photos of each group. I walked through the night in Ingya for about an hour and a bit, and I was able to hear stories about the creatures I encountered along the way. Our guide was Hinata Kimura. Leon, who guided us, was very knowledgeable and taught us many things we didn't know. It was a wonderful tour that made me love the creatures and nature of Miyako Island even more. The starry sky was only visible through gaps in the clouds, but I heard that if it were clear, you could see a full 360 degrees of stars. I hope to have a chance to do it again someday!

We participated in a night tour on short notice to celebrate my eldest son's middle school graduation and high school entrance.
Due to the season, the temperature was low, and we couldn't see the coconut crabs... We also missed out on seeing many insects and reptiles, but our guide, Yūri, provided detailed explanations about the plants, stars, and Miyako Island, which made the experience very enjoyable. Thank you very much!

We sincerely apologize for not being able to meet your expectations despite your participation. We deeply regret that the explanations and content were insufficient, especially as you came to enjoy the coconut crab and the starry sky.
While we acknowledge that natural environmental factors may have played a role, our lack of consideration in pre-event explanations and on-site responses, which made you feel it was "like a night walk," is entirely our shortcoming. We also take your feedback regarding the photo opportunities and the guide's insufficient explanations seriously, and we will work on improvements with all our staff.
