I truly felt that coming to Miyako Island was wonderful; it was a fantastic two hours. The weather was great, and I participated in the tour without a wetsuit. Even though it was the end of February, it wasn't cold at all. (Of course, they provide wetsuits for free if needed.)

We went to the Pumpkin Cave by canoe, which was already fun at this point. The long-awaited Pumpkin Cave was breathtaking. With the support of our guide, we climbed up to the cave from the sea. Inside, we followed the guide's instructions and walked around. It was beautiful.

The guide taught us a lot about the cave and the formation of Miyako Island, which was very educational. It was dark inside, and we walked with flashlights we borrowed. In the end, we jumped into the sea from the top of the pumpkin.

There’s so much more I want to share, but you should definitely experience it for yourself.

In terms of activities, adventure, and learning, it was a tour that was far more exciting and thrilling than I imagined.

I absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who visits Miyako Island. Thank you for the wonderful time.

天気がとっても良くて、ウエットスーツなしでツアーに参加しました。2月末でしたが全く寒くありませんでした。（もちろん必要であれば無料で貸してくれます）
パンプキン鍾乳洞まではカヌーで行きます。この時点で楽しいです。
念願のパンプキン鍾乳洞は圧巻でした。
海から、ガイドさんのサポートで鍾乳洞に上がります。
中もガイドさんの指示に従って歩けます。美しいです。
鍾乳洞の中のことから、宮古島の成り立ちまでたくさん教えてくれて、勉強になりました。

最後はパンプキンの上から海に飛び込みます。

Mr. Kume was very kind, thorough, and provided easy-to-understand explanations along with interesting trivia, making it a lot of fun. The photo sending was quick, and I think he is a capable person.

During snorkeling, I encountered sea turtles and saw clownfish and various colorful fish in a very comfortable location. We took a canoe to Pumpkin Cave, and the exploration inside the cave felt thrilling. SUP was quite difficult, and I fell off twice, but the scenery was beautiful and it was enjoyable.

The pumpkin cave tour was canceled due to bad weather the day before, and we switched to a plan for sea turtle snorkeling and canoeing. (By the way, the weather that weekend was a high of 20°C, a low of 15°C, with wind speeds of 9m, cloudy with occasional rain.)

The schedule was snorkeling at 10:30 AM and canoeing at 2:00 PM.

For snorkeling, we were provided with necessary items like wetsuits, goggles, and water shoes upon arrival. I wore a water-friendly yoga outfit as my swimsuit, but everyone else was dressed sportily.

It was very cold, but I was lucky to see two sea turtles that day. We were underwater for about 50 to 60 minutes. The water was very clear, and we encountered various fish.

Afterward, it was cold, but they brought 2-liter bottles of hot water, and since they said we could use one bottle per person and just throw away any leftovers, I took advantage of that and used about three bottles to warm up on the way back.

For lunch, I wore a light jacket over my wet swimsuit and stayed in my wet swimsuit. There seem to be several places where you can eat while still in your swimsuit.

That day the weather was nice, and the car warmed up, so my swimsuit dried before canoeing.

In the afternoon canoeing, my lower body got wet, but my upper body stayed mostly dry from splashes. Fortunately, the weather was great, and the sea had various shades of blue that looked beautiful.

After we finished, the instructor recommended many places, and I visited all of them, and they were all great! 🙌

午前10時半からシュノーケル、午後14時からカヌーというスケジュールです。

シュノーケルは到着後ウエットスーツやゴーグル、海用の靴など必要なものは貸していただけました。
水着は水陸両用のヨガウェア的なやつを着ていきましたが、みなさんスポーティでした。

とっても寒いですがその日ウミガメを2匹見れてラッキーでした。50〜60分くらい潜ってたみたいです。海の透明度も高くていろんな魚に会えました。

終了後は寒かったんですが2Lペットボトルでお湯を持ってきてくれていて基本1人1本で余ったものは捨てるだけなので使ってくださいと言ってくださって、お言葉に甘えて3本くらい使わせてもらってほかほかで帰りました。

お昼は水着の上に濡れても良いシャカシャカを着て水着は濡れたまま過ごしました。
ごはんは水着のまま濡れてても大丈夫なお店がいくつかあるようです。

その日は天気が良くて車も暖まったのでカヌー参加までに水着は乾きました。

午後のカヌーは下半身は濡れますが上半身は水飛沫くらいで濡れません。
その日はラッキーなことにかなり天気が良く海の色もいろんな青があって映えてました。

解散後インストラクターさんおすすめの場所はたくさん教えてもらって全部行きましたが全部よかったです🙌

I was worried that it would be cold in February, but there was no need for such concerns as I saw plenty of fish and coral reefs from the diving spots, which was amazing. It was cloudy on the day, and the sun wasn't shining, but once I was swimming in the ocean, it felt warm and I had a great time. Since it was February, I was worried about the cold, but on the day of the event, the weather was nice, and there were even participants without wetsuits. Borazen Beach was absolutely wonderful, and the canoeing to the cave was very relaxing. When we got close to the cave, we got out of the canoe and walked to the cave entrance since it was shallow. Once inside the cave, it gets deep, but if you're not afraid of the water, you can float with the life jacket, so even if you're not a good swimmer, it's not a problem. The guide provided thorough explanations while supporting the participants, which was very interesting. The photos that you receive later are taken at various locations, making for great memories. I highly recommend it!

保良泉ビーチはとても素晴らしく、洞窟までのカヌーもとても癒されました。
洞窟近くに着くとカヌーから降り、浅瀬なので歩いて洞窟入り口まで行けました。洞窟に入ってからは深いのですが、水に恐怖心がなければライフジャケットで勝手に浮くので泳ぎが苦手でも問題無しです。
ガイドの方は参加者のサポートをしながら丁寧に説明してくれ、とても興味深かったです。
後日データでいただける写真は様々な場所で撮ってくれるので、すごく良い思い出になりました。

It was my first time snorkeling, and I was nervous since it had been decades since I last entered the sea, but Mr. Nakamura's explanations were easy to understand, and I was able to enjoy it. I was thrilled by the beautiful sea, fish, and coral reefs! I even got to meet a sea turtle, which I had always wanted to see!

The pumpkin cave, which I saw for the first time, was impressive with its sacred atmosphere. Inside the pumpkin, I was lucky enough to encounter a sea snake!

We had activities under clear skies, which are rare in February, and I truly enjoyed myself. Thank you, Mr. Nakamura!

We had a few days where we couldn't experience our reservation due to the weather, but on the third day, the weather finally settled, and we enjoyed sea turtle snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Although the activities differed from our original booking, they suggested options that suited the sea conditions, allowing us to enjoy safely. I booked the SUP experience and the Pumpkin Cave tour. The Pumpkin Cave tour was canceled due to bad weather, but I really enjoyed the SUP experience while it wasn't raining. Since it's February, I was worried about the weather, temperature, and water temperature, but I was able to participate without being too bothered by the cold. Thanks to the warm water distribution at the end, I was really moved!

During snorkeling, from the moment I entered the sea, I was able to see many sea turtles, clownfish, and other vibrant fish. I swam with the sea turtles and had videos and photos taken.

The waves were calm, and the sea kayaking was more stable than I imagined, with a comfortable ride. I participated in the sea turtle snorkeling, SUP, and Pumpkin Cave course.

In February, the sea was cold, but I was able to see sea turtles.

The Pumpkin Cave, in particular, was fantastic and had a sense of adventure. We canoed to the cave entrance, explored inside the cave, and finally jumped into the sea, creating wonderful memories with experiences that are usually not possible.

One downside was that there was quite a gap between each activity. I had thought I would be able to continue without long breaks, so I didn't do enough research.

I would like to participate again in the summer.

The kayak trip to Pumpkin Hall was thrilling as we passed close to the rocks. I felt that the sea was very beautiful since we could see fish swimming in their natural habitat. Inside Pumpkin Hall, I was deeply moved by the mystical scenery. As we ascended, I had a memorable experience being able to see the stalactites up close. The staff also shared stories about the water in Miyako Island and the limestone caves, allowing us to learn more deeply. While watching the connected stalactites, I was surprised by how cold the spring water was when I poured it over my head. For those interested, during the final dive, it seems that if you jump in while making a wish, it will come true, which was a lot of fun. I truly felt that this experience was wonderful.

パンプキンホールまでのカヤックは岩の近くも通って迫力満点でした。また、魚が泳いでいるところも生で見れるのでとても綺麗な海だと感じられました。パンプキンホールの中では神秘的な光景が見れてとても感動しました。上に上がっていくと間近で鍾乳石が見れるという思い出に残るような体験ができました。また、スタッフの人が宮古島の水の話や鍾乳洞の話もしてくれるので深く学ぶこともできました。鍾乳石が繋がっている光景を見ながら、湧き水を頭にかけたらとても冷たくて驚きました。希望者だけですが、最後のダイブでは願い事をしながら飛び込むと叶うらしいのでしてみるととても楽しかったです。今回、この体験をして本当に良かったなと思いました。

My first visit to Miyako Island. Although I had been to other remote islands, for some reason, I had never been to Miyako Island until now. Even though it was winter, I was looking for affordable activities and discovered the Pumpkin Cave caving experience. I signed up right away.

On the day of the experience, we were greeted with an unusually clear winter day. After about 20 minutes of kayaking from Borazen Beach, we arrived at the cave entrance. Entering through a small opening that only appears at low tide, we were met with a large stalagmite shaped like a pumpkin. It was breathtaking.

After that, we climbed the stalagmite and continued deeper into the cave. We were able to witness some truly mystical sights. For those who wanted to, we ended by jumping into the sea from the Pumpkin stalagmite. The guide was very kind and explained everything in detail, allowing us to participate with peace of mind.

It became the best memory.

初めての宮古島。これまで他の離島には行っているのに何故か宮古島だけ行くことができていませんでした。冬ですが、手頃なアクティビティがないか探していたところ、パンプキン鍾乳洞ケイビング体験を発見。すぐに申し込みました。
当日は、冬には珍しいほどの快晴でした。保良泉ビーチよりカヤックで20分ほど進んだ所に洞窟入り口に到着。干潮の時しか現れない？ほどの小さな入り口から中に入ると大きなパンプキンの形をした鍾乳石が現れる。感動しました。
その後、その鍾乳石を登り、もっと奥に向かって鍾乳洞体験。神秘的な光景を目にすることができました。希望者だけですが、最後はパンプキン鍾乳石から海へ飛び込みました。ガイドの方も、とても優しく丁寧に説明していただき、安心して参加することができました。
最高の思い出となりました。

On the way to the limestone cave by canoe, I was able to see Ryukyu coral limestone and the strange shapes of the cliffs. Inside the cave, I felt the greatness of nature with the sparkling stalactites and the flowing water! I was very satisfied!!

As for snorkeling, as soon as I entered the sea, there were so many fish swimming around like in an aquarium, which was incredibly moving! The water clarity was great, and I even got to see a sea turtle! Our guide, Yuuri, taught us a lot about the islands and nature, and he also took care of my well-being, allowing me to participate with peace of mind. Thank you very much! ♪

鍾乳洞に向かうまでのカヌーでは、琉球珊瑚石灰岩が見れたり、不思議な崖の形見ることができ、鍾乳洞の中では、キラキラ光る鍾乳石や湧き出る水など自然の偉大さを感じました！

The experience starts at calm waters on the SUP. There's very little wind nor waves so it's perfect for beginners. After a 2 hr break for lunch, you meet back for snorkeling. I've been to a few snorkeling spots around Asia and this is easily number 1 with how clear and beautiful the water is and with just how many fish you get to see. We even saw a sea turtle eat off the ground! I was genuinely happy. After that, the pumpkin cave was also amazing. There's a bit difficult canoe out to the cave but it's very worth the trip. The history as well as amazing structures within the cave is astonishing. The guide Yuuri made this whole day all the better with great explanations and great personality that brightened an already bright Miyako day. Oh and he spoke great English.

I participated in a tour for SUP, snorkeling, and cave exploration in Miyako Island, and it was the best experience! The guide was very kind and explained everything carefully to us beginners, which made us feel safe and enjoy ourselves. On the SUP, we leisurely glided over the crystal-clear sea and were moved by the stunning views.
