First visit Ryukyu Mura, where you can wander among traditional houses, see water buffalo, habu snakes and local dance performances! Then head towards the ocean, for views from the vast Manza Cape. After lunch at Okashi Goden, head to the famous Churaumi Aquarium, to see the majestic whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins and other sea creatures.

  • 10:30 Manza Cape (20 mins)
    14万座毛1 Overlooking the blue sea, and surrounded by sky, this cape resembles an elephant.

  • Even-numbered Days: Nago Pineapple Park (40 mins)
    名護パイン園-2 Take a cart ride through the pineapple fields, check out the exhibits and then eat your fill of fresh local pineapple and other treats!
  • Odd-numbered Days: Okinawa Fruits Land (40 mins)
    新-フルーツらんど A great place to see flowers, butterflies, birds and tropical fruit. Feed colorful parrots, try the fresh fruit desserts at the cafe' and say hello to the local butterflies.
  • 12:30 Okashi Goden and Lunch (50 mins)
    恩納店2 Visit this huge Okinawan sweets shop, where you can buy the island's famous purple yam tartlets. Lunch with be in the Okashi Goten restaurant, a set meal of tasty Okinawan dishes.
  • 13:40 Churaumi Aquarium Ocean Expo Park (140 mins)
    080623黒潮 - コピー One of the largest aquariums in the world, home to a stunning variety of sea creatures, including whale sharks and families of manta rays.
    Entry fee of adult JPY 1,660 and JPY 550 is needed on site.
