Okinawa Main Island
I was finally able to go out recently and planned a trip to Okinawa for the first time in a while. It was my first time participating in an island tour, and the pickup was smooth, which I thought was great. In particular, I was very impressed by the underwater scenery I saw during the snorkeling tour. On the day of the tour, I also asked at the beach to try the banana boat as an option, and my companions and I ended up falling into the sea, which was a lot of fun. 中で写真を撮ってもらってあとから貰えるのですが、暗くて何が何だか…他の人の写真ではクマノミやカメが綺麗に写ってるのに…これは我儘なのは承知しておりますが、それでも比べてしまうので非常に残念でした。
8月の繁忙期でしたので、大勢いましたし、仕方ないとは思いますが、片手間インストラクターさんは嫌なので、私はもうこのツアー会社は利用しません。

The combination of snorkeling and diving was more enjoyable than I expected! We visited three diving spots, and it was really convenient to choose between diving and snorkeling. I visited the Kerama Islands for the first time. Since it was during the Obon holiday, there was a long line at the ticket booth at Tomari Port, but since it was a tour, we were able to board the ferry right away without waiting. Enjoying the wonderful view of the blue sky and blue sea, we headed straight to Tokashiki Island.
Upon arrival, we first had curry for lunch. After that, we relaxed for about 30 minutes at Aharen Beach, then moved to Tokashiku Beach for snorkeling. We encountered sea turtles and enjoyed a scene that felt just like being in an aquarium, and then we returned to Aharen Beach. After relaxing on the white sandy beach for just under an hour, we took the ferry back to Naha.
You absolutely should go! I recommend taking a high-speed ferry to have a bit more time on Tokashiki Island.

お盆休みということもあり泊港での乗船券売場は行列でしたが、ツアーでしたので待つこともなくすぐにフェリーへ。青空と青い海の素敵な景色をみながら一路渡嘉敷島へ。
到着後はまずランチのカレー。そのあと阿波連ビーチで30分程度のんびりしてから、とかしくビーチへ移動してシュノーケリング。ウミガメさんにも遭遇しまるで水族館にいるかのような光景を堪能して、また阿波連ビーチへ。１時間弱白い砂浜でのんびりしてから、フェリーで那覇に戻りました。
絶対に行った方がいいですよ！
高速フェリーで、もう少し渡嘉敷島の滞在時間を多く取れることをお勧めします。

I participated with my daughter and son. The moment we got off the boat on the way back, the kids exclaimed, "We want to go again!!" It was such a wonderful experience. そして、コロナ禍ではありましたが、船に乗っている人数も密にならないでちょうどよい人数でしたし、クルーの方々の丁寧な対応はとても好感が持てました。また、子どもたちは3年ぶりの沖縄で、シュノーケリングするのも緊張していました。しかし、シュノーケリング担当の方がやさしく丁寧に子どもたちを誘導してくれたり、クラゲが出た時も安全を第一に考えてくださりました。そういう安全の中で体験ができたことに感謝です。

We gathered at the location at 8 AM, changed into our wetsuits, and boarded the boat to set sail! After about an hour, we could see the island and jumped into the water right away! It was incredibly beautiful, and the fish were just too cute♪ I felt completely safe and enjoyed myself without any fear♪ Those wearing wetsuits didn't need to wear life jackets, so I even tried free diving! (It was difficult, but fun!)
We visited three spots, and at the second spot, we were lucky enough to see a sea turtle and swim together with it, which was so moving! After a while, it swam down into the depths, though (laughs). I was a bit worried that we might not have enough time to swim since we were moving to three spots, but we were able to swim for a satisfyingly long time at each location!
They took a lot of photos for us, and they even captured my successful attempts at free diving♪ For lunch, we had a bento box that included miso soup, which was a nice break. They also provided tea, coffee, and water for us to drink freely.
In the end, we even got to challenge ourselves by diving off the ferry, and we had fun until the very last moment!
If I ever come back to Okinawa, I would definitely love to go snorkeling here again! Thank you so much!
8時に現地に集合し、ウェットスーツに着替えて船に乗って出航しました！1時間ほどで島が見えてきてさっそく入水！めちゃくちゃ綺麗で魚達も可愛すぎました♪何の怖さも無く安心して楽しめました♪ウェットスーツを来ている人はライフジャケットを着なくてもいいので、素潜りを挑戦してみたりしました！(難しいけど笑)
3つのスポットを回ってくれるのですが、2個目のスポットでは運良くウミガメに会え、一緒に泳ぐ事が出来て感動！しばらくしたら海の下に行っちゃいますが笑
3スポット移動するので、泳ぐ時間足らなくならないかなぁと少し気にしていましたが、どのスポットでも満足すぎるくらい長い時間泳ぐ事が出来ました！
写真もたくさん撮ってくれて、素潜りの練習をしていて成功した所も撮って貰えました♪
お昼のお弁当はお味噌汁もあり一息つける良い昼食でした。お茶、コーヒー、水も自由に飲める物を準備してもらってあります。
最終はフェリーの上からダイブに挑戦したりして最後まで楽しむことが出来ました！
またいつか沖縄に来ることがかあったら是非もう一度ここでシュノーケリングしたいと思います！本当にありがとうございました！
