I don't usually get to ride on a boat in my daily life, so it was a valuable experience! My child was especially delighted, and seeing that made me feel it was worth it. We enjoyed the sunset cruise and were able to see the sun setting on the horizon, which was great. Next, I want to go on a dinner cruise! The fireworks are beautiful! A few hours after it ended, we could see them from Kokusai Street! As we approached the port, the guides helped us, so it felt a bit VIP! I want to go again!

One disappointing thing was that I wanted to quietly confirm the anniversary celebration, but perhaps because there were many foreign staff, I ended up calling a Japanese staff member, which made it obvious to the person I was celebrating with. Previously, I participated in tours around Kerama, but this time I stayed in Onna Village and traveled with children, so I joined this tour departing from Chatan. It was a great decision. After boarding, we spotted a whale in just about 15 minutes! The staff mentioned it was the shortest time they've experienced (laughs). Although we didn't see any jumps this time, we were able to watch the whales slowly, and I was very satisfied. The boat didn't sway too much, but it seemed like there were quite a few people feeling unwell (￣0￣;). I recommend taking motion sickness medication early before participating.

今までは、ケラマの方のツアーでしたが、今回は恩納村に宿泊していたのと子連れの旅だったので、北谷発のこちらのツアーへ参加しました。
大正解です。乗船してから、わずか15分くらい？でクジラを発見！スタッフの方も今まで最短と(笑)今回も、ジャンプは見れませんでしたが、ゆっくりクジラを見ることが出来ました、大満足です。
あんまり、揺れなかったのですが、意外と具合の悪い人が多かったような(￣0￣;)酔い止めは早目に飲んでの参加をお薦めします。

This was my first experience with whale watching. The day before, I received kind and detailed instructions about the meeting place over the phone, which made everything go smoothly.

Just to be safe, I took anti-nausea and motion sickness medication, and I was fully prepared for departure! The guide shared four methods to avoid getting seasick: 1) Look at distant, stationary objects like islands. 2) Don't yawn. 3) Talk a lot. 4) Sleep.

After practicing these tips, we arrived near the Kerama Islands in about an hour. Suddenly, the guide shouted loudly that a whale had been spotted, and there was applause and cheers. We chased after a solitary humpback whale, catching glimpses of its tail a few times, and even saw it jump at the end. However, it was a bit disappointing that everything was at a distance and lacked the thrill I had hoped for.

According to the guide, the weather was nice and the waves were calm today, yet nearly 20% of the participants still got seasick. I think those who are unsure should carefully consider whether to participate. I also got sunburned, and the marks from my watch were quite noticeable. Don't forget your sunscreen!

Despite that, I had a very enjoyable time. Thank you!

これらを実践しながら1時間ほどで慶良間諸島付近に到着。
しばらくすると突然ガイドさんが、大きな声でクジラ発見‼︎と吠え、拍手喝采。単独のザトウクジラを追いかけて、数回、尾を見て、最後にジャンプまで。しかしながら、どれも距離が遠く、迫力に欠けたのが残念でした。
ガイドさんいわく、今日は天気も良く、波も穏やか、と言いつつも、2割近くの方が酔っていました。自信のない方は、よく考えて参加を決めた方が良いと思います。日焼けもし、時計の痕がくっきり。日焼け止めも忘れずに！
それでも、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。

I was a bit anxious because I easily get car sick, but I took motion sickness medication and was careful with breakfast, so I was able to enjoy the trip without feeling sick.

The tour company is not at fault, but this is my honest opinion.

I haven't experienced much seasickness on this type of tour before, but just in case, I took a motion sickness pill that was sold at the reception for 500 yen. Even so, I still felt quite nauseous. From what I could see, there were actually fewer people who didn't throw up. Because of that, I was able to throw up without hesitation, which slightly improved my condition, but...

I did see the whales and their spouts, but honestly, it wasn't enough to make up for the discomfort of seasickness. I think there were many people who were so sick that they hardly saw the whales.

If you're planning to include this in a short stay in Okinawa, I think it's important to carefully consider and prepare for it.

今までこの手のツアーであまり船酔いをしたことはなかったのですが、念のため受付で販売していた１本５００円の酔い止めを飲みましたが、それでもかなり酔いました。
パッと見ですが、吐いていない人の方が少ないくらいの状況でした。
そのため気兼ねなく？吐くことが出来て、少し体調が改善されたのは良かったのですが・・・

クジラの姿も潮吹きも見ることが出来ましたが、船酔いの辛さを帳消しにするほどの感動はなかったというのが率直なところです。船酔いがつらくてクジラをほとんど見ていない方も多かったと思います。

短い沖縄滞在の日程に組み込む場合には、よく検討して対策を練った方がいいと思いました。

I participated with my son. In the morning, at the meeting place, I was informed that our online reservation had been canceled, which was very unpleasant. Since it was said that we would be taking a boat that is strong against swaying, I let my son board without giving him motion sickness medication, and he ended up feeling quite seasick. About 10 minutes after departure, we were lucky enough to encounter a whale. I was moved to see its dorsal fin clearly and to be able to gauge the size of the individual. After that, we were able to see the blow and the tail fin protruding from the surface of the water from a distance several times. We returned to the port much earlier than scheduled, but I think the other passengers had no objections due to the high waves, the cold, and the ample opportunity for observation.

There was a sale of motion sickness medication at the reception, but I think it's better to prepare your own and take it in advance with plenty of time. It seems that on some days, 30 out of 40 people can get seasick.

出発してから10分ほどで運良くクジラに出会えました。背ビレがハッキリと、個体の大きさもはっきり分かるまで見れて感動しました。その後は遠方でブロウと水面から突き出たお尾ひれをたびたび見ることができました。予定よりもかなり早い時間に港へと戻りましたが、高い波と寒さと充分に観察できた感で、他の乗客も異存がなかったかと思います。

I used this for a family trip.
It had been over a week since the typhoon, so I checked with local friends about the condition of the sea, and I thought it seemed okay, but the visibility was about half of the usual level.
At the best viewing point, there was a noticeable difference in the fish and underwater scenery depending on whether you were sitting on the left or right.
I felt that it changed quite a bit with the light conditions.

I used the service on February 23 this year. In February, Okinawa is still a bit chilly. The cherry blossoms have finished blooming, but it's just before the opening of the beach in March.

The cruise ship was larger than I imagined and seemed quite popular, as it was almost fully booked. For dinner, we started with a buffet of salads, followed by appetizers, and then the main course of steak. The taste was worth the price, and alcoholic beverages were sold separately.

I enjoyed the night view of Naha and a live performance of Okinawan songs. It was my first dinner cruise in Okinawa, and it was really great. I will participate again!

The weather was nice, but the sea was rough, like a roller coaster. There were small children on board, but they all got seasick. Since we boarded the boat after breakfast, motion sickness medication is a must. We were able to see the whales properly, but we returned to land early.

It was a trip for just my daughter and me. We had a barbecue on the third-floor deck, and the night breeze was pleasant, plus we could see airplanes, which made for a wonderful atmosphere. After dinner, we enjoyed a live performance on the second floor, and it was a lot of fun. Celebrating the birthdays of some guests at that time also became a great memory. The staff were very friendly and kind, and bringing this course at the end of our trip was definitely the right choice.

食後　２階でのライブを見せて下さってとても楽しかったですし

I participated on the last day of my trip to Okinawa. Since I couldn't swim in the sea during winter, I was satisfied just to be able to go out on a boat. I was also very pleased with the shrimp for dinner. An attendant was singing Okinawan songs in front, which allowed me to enjoy a relaxing cruise.
