I was worried about seasickness, so I joined this whale watching tour on a large boat. It was a nice bonus that they provided transportation close to the hotel.

After about 40 minutes out of the port, we spotted a whale and stopped the boat, allowing passengers to go to the front deck. During the hour of observation, we were able to see whales about 5 to 6 times.

■ Good points
- While the whales were diving, they provided explanations about them, which kept us engaged.
- When a whale was spotted, they quickly changed the boat's direction and got closer, making it easy to see.
- Although there was some rocking on the large boat, I was hardly worried about seasickness.

■ Bad points
- The boat was nearly full with about 60 passengers, and the observation deck at the front was extremely crowded. For safety reasons, we had to stay seated, which made it quite uncomfortable as there was no space to stretch our legs. Additionally, since the deck was flat, shorter people had their view obstructed by those in front of them, making it quite difficult to see.

■悪かった点
・ほぼ満席の60名ほど乗っており、船の前の見学デッキは超満員。安全のため座っている必要があるので、足を伸ばしたりできるスペースがなくかなり辛かったです。またデッキは平らなので背が低い人は前の人に視界を遮られてかなり見ずらい状況でした。

I went to the Churaumi Aquarium on a tour from American Village. It was feeding time for the whale sharks, and I was able to see them swimming vertically. I've seen whale sharks many times, but seeing them in that vertical position was truly impressive due to their size! No matter how many times I go, I am always amazed by that large tank and the whale sharks!

Since Churaumi is far away, taking a bus tour is convenient, and you can chat while traveling. Plus, the ticket price is included, making it a great deal, so I've used this tour several times. Since I often stay in American Village, I hope more tours departing from American Village will be available.

I had a great time hearing various stories! Since the cherry blossoms are currently in bloom, we made an unscheduled stop to see them, and the driver slowed down the taxi so I could take photos of the cherry blossoms and the scenery (in an area with little traffic). It was a wonderful service.

However, the Gyokusendo Cave was longer than I expected, and after watching the Haisai Show, I was worried that my elderly mother wouldn't make it back to the bus on time, so I had to hold her hand and run for the latter half of the tour. I think it would have been better if there had been a bit more detailed information about how long it would take to walk.

I participated in a morning tour for my afternoon flight. Since I had previously visited Okinawa World, this time I went to the Gyokusendo Cave. This tour was better than I expected, and it was nice to walk slowly through the valley with a guide. Although there were some ups and downs, the path was paved and easy to walk on, so I didn't get tired. The guide was also good at speaking, and the tempo was slow, making it easy to listen. Since it was a three-generation trip with my mother and children, we usually explore Okinawa by rental car, but this time we used a sightseeing taxi. It was relaxing to spend time in the car, and the driver incorporated recommended sightseeing spots along the way (since the cherry blossoms were in bloom, we passed through a cherry blossom-lined road). I really liked that we could visit various spots in just one day! I think it was a great deal that the bus fare, aquarium admission ticket, Pineapple Park entrance fee, Manzamo entrance ticket, and souvenir coupons were all included for 7,000 yen. It was a lot of fun!!

However, there were some issues with the bus guide's equipment, as the audio would cut out at times. It was a bit inconvenient when they were announcing the meeting times and important information about using the bus. If the cost includes the bus guide, I think they should ensure the equipment is charged and well-maintained.
