I've visited Okinawa many times, but I had never experienced this before, so this time I signed up for this tour with hotel pick-up in Naha City!

I was worried because it was raining in the afternoon, but by the time we set sail, it was beautifully sunny, with no wind and calm waves, so I had no worries about seasickness at all!

In the first half of the tour, we didn't see any whales at all, and just when I was starting to give up, we spotted a blow (spout) in the distance, and thanks to the captain chasing it at full speed, we were able to see it up close!

I didn't get to see it jump dramatically, but just encountering it was moving!

According to the guide, we were able to see six whales. They all looked the same to me, but I learned that the patterns on their tails are different!

It was a great experience!

一度も体験したことがなかったので、今回那覇市内ホテル送迎付きでこちらのツアーに申し込みしました！

午後便で、雨が降ったりで心配でしたが、出航時には見事に晴れて、風もなく波も穏やかで、船酔いの心配は全くありませんでした！

ツアー前半は全くクジラの姿がなく、少し諦めてた矢先、ブロー(潮吹き)が遠くの方で見えて、船長が全速力で追いかけてくれたおかげで、近くで見ることが出来ました！

I was welcomed in the airport lobby and taken to famous spots like the Himeyuri Monument, Chinen Misaki, and Manzamo. Initially, I wasn't planning to visit Chinen Misaki, but I was advised that it would be a great experience, and I was glad I went as I enjoyed the stunning views. Additionally, I was treated to delicious Sata Andagi, which was very tasty. The car was well-maintained and clean, and the driving skills were impressive, making for a comfortable drive that allowed me to fully enjoy my trip to Okinawa! After the COVID-19 pandemic, it was about time to travel again, and with the nationwide travel subsidy, the bus was almost full and bustling.
Churaumi Aquarium:
There used to be three whale sharks, but now there is only one, and the large tank looks lonely (-_-;) The dolphin show at Okichan Theater was enjoyable even for a solo traveler, with the children's cheers adding to the fun. They are so talented!!
Kouri Island:
I only visited the beach and the roadside station for souvenirs, so I was disappointed that I couldn't go to Heart Rock Tower. The bridge leading to Kouri Island is beautiful no matter when you visit.
Chatan American Village:
It's Christmas Town all year round. The delicious food left me not only in a good mood but also completely satisfied. The sunset at the end was the best.

This time, I traveled without a car, but I wanted to go on a little trip before getting on the plane, so I chose this option. Two-thirds of the group chose Okinawa World. I chose the Gyokusendo Cave, and I enjoyed learning about Okinawa's nature and ancient stories. The guide was also very nice. At the beginning of the tour, we received a metal bottle filled with tea. I thought it was heavy and unnecessary, but since we walked quite a bit, my water supply might not have been enough. However, I wish they had informed us that the bottles would be distributed before getting off the bus.

Unfortunately, the bus seatbelt was broken, and there was trash in the seat, which is why I rated it ★-1. We arrived at the airport a little before 1 PM.

We had a fun departure with the veteran guide's lively talk!

We enjoyed the Okinawa vibe on a remote island accessible by bus, and then headed to the main attraction, the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. There was plenty of time allocated, so we could leisurely enjoy the aquarium without rushing, and we also got to visit facilities that are not easily accessible on our own, which greatly increased our satisfaction! Additionally, it was more affordable than going individually, making it a great value for money.

We participated as a couple and used a tour since we couldn't drive. Even if we could drive, the itinerary was so packed that we wouldn't have been able to see everything. It was great to cycle through the Fukugi tree-lined path! If I could wish for something, I would have liked to stay a bit longer in American Village.

It was a very efficient tour where we could visit many highlights in just one day, starting with the Churaumi Aquarium, as well as Kouri Island and American Village.

Additionally, our guide even showcased Okinawan folk songs and played the sanshin, allowing us to enjoy a fun time on the bus.

(On the bus, announcements were made in English, Chinese, and Korean, which made it reassuring for international visitors.)

Next time I go to Okinawa, I would love to take a bus tour again.

It was a weekday, but everywhere was crowded, making it difficult to take our time exploring within the tour schedule. I was too concerned about the meeting time, and there were many people... so I felt like we had little free time. However, I enjoyed it because we were taken to many sightseeing spots.

I'm glad I was able to visit several tourist attractions even without a car! At American Village, I think it would be difficult to take photos and leisurely enjoy meals or shopping at the same time. As for the Churaumi Aquarium, it depends on the person, but I felt it was just the right amount of time. I did have to hurry a bit, but I enjoyed the large tank, other exhibits, and the dolphin show. I recommend it!

In less than two weeks, I found myself heading back to Okinawa, and although I was reluctant to drive a rental car again, I discovered this tour that seemed perfect for us, especially since we didn't want to visit the Churaumi Aquarium.

On the day of the tour, we mainly visited Kouri Island and the Fukugi trees in Bise. The weather was cloudy, but the sea and the trees were beautiful, which made it very enjoyable.

For lunch, we had delicious and reasonably priced yakiniku recommended by our driver, which we were grateful for.

In addition to Kouri Island and the Fukugi trees in Bise, we also visited two beaches. One of the locations felt like a hidden gem known only to locals, which made this plan feel special.

当日は古宇利島・備瀬のフクギ並木をメインに行きました。
天気がくもりでしたが、海や並木はきれいでとてもよかったです。

昼食は運転士さんおすすめの焼肉をいただきました。美味しいしリーズナブルで教えていただけてありがたかったです。

古宇利島と備瀬のフクギ並木以外にも、2箇所ビーチに行ってもらいました。そのうちの1箇所は地元民しか知らないような場所で、このプランだからこそだなと感じました。

車内でもとてもいい塩梅でお話をしていただいたので、快適に過ごせました。

とても素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました！

We used this service on the last day of our trip to Okinawa. Since our return flight was at 3 PM, we were taken to the airport, making for a meaningful final day. We requested visits to Peace Memorial Park, the Underwater Road, and Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. In February, since it’s the low tide season, we were taken to a recommended beach instead of the Underwater Road.
My family was very happy, and it turned out to be a great trip. Next time we come, I would like to visit Kouri Island, which the driver recommended.

Since I had some time between hotel checkout and my flight, I decided to request a charter for sightseeing. The driver was very kind, providing advice on tourist spots and guiding us from the parking lot to the entrance at each location, which was very helpful since it was our first time there. I ended up asking for help until the very last minute, but they efficiently took us to all the places we wanted to visit, making for a fulfilling six hours. At first, I was torn between renting a car, but I don't think we could have visited so many places on our own. Thank you very much.
