We had a very enjoyable experience! I was a bit worried since my elderly parents were with us, but the tour guide was very kind, and we had a pleasant time. The weather was great, so the scenery was fantastic. There was some slight rocking, but the kids took motion sickness medication, so they didn't feel unwell. I requested a tour from Naha Airport to about five sightseeing destinations (such as Naminoue Shrine, Shuri Castle, and American Village) and then to my hotel. It was a five-hour plan, but since we had plenty of free time for shopping at Kokusai Street and American Village, I was able to shop to my heart's content, visit cafes, and take bathroom breaks.

We started from our accommodation on an 8-hour course, visiting the Yambaru area, roadside stations, and Kouri Island, and finally toured Nakijin Castle before being taken back to our accommodation.

We boarded the boat for about a 10-minute ride to the viewpoint, then spent around 20 minutes exploring the underwater observatory and the seabed. After that, we returned to the boat and headed to the disembarkation point. The coral reefs were truly beautiful, and colorful fish swam nearby, making it feel like a different world. I heard that if you're lucky, you might see a sea turtle, but unfortunately, that didn't happen for us. However, after returning to land, I was satisfied to see the sea turtles that are cared for at the Tobu Genki Village.

During my summer trip to Hokkaido, I had a great driver, so I thought it would be worth paying extra for a certified driver this time.

First, at the pickup time, the driver waited in the car instead of coming to the lobby. I received a call beforehand saying they would come with a sign with my name, but nothing happened, and when I went outside, they were just sitting in the car.

Unbelievable. I've never encountered such a driver before.

This time, I had a five-hour plan, but the driver made no suggestions. There was a large aquarium where whale sharks and rays swam gracefully. I think it would be the perfect spot for couples to enjoy while having coffee. There was also a dolphin show, which I watched with the theme of an autumn sports festival. The dolphins jumped skillfully multiple times and were adorable. It would have been even more enjoyable if they had a few more tricks besides jumping. Also, it was disappointing that I went after the prices had increased again.

Near the Okinawa Ocean Expo Park, where the Churaumi Aquarium is located, there is the Okinawa Hanasaki Marche, and you can exchange your voucher at a shop inside. The staff at the shop didn't seem to fully understand the reservations from VELTRA, so they noted down the voucher number and collected the printed voucher just to be safe, but they exchanged the tickets without any issues.

However, this shop is currently only open from 9:30 AM due to the pandemic, so it may not be suitable for those who want to go early in the morning when it's less crowded. Discount tickets for the Churaumi Aquarium are sold at various souvenir shops and rental car companies throughout Okinawa, so if you want to enter early the next morning, you might consider purchasing them somewhere after arriving in Okinawa.

Personally, I felt reassured by the fact that they would refund if I didn't use it, and I was glad to be able to use VELTRA points for the purchase. The highlight, of course, was the whale shark. It was my first time seeing one, and I was quite moved.

美ら海水族館の館外での割引チケット自体は、沖縄内のお土産ショップやレンタカー屋さんなどいたるところで売っているので、翌日の朝一に入館したい場合は、沖縄についてからどこかで購入してもよいかと思います。
個人的には、使用しなければ返金してくれるという点で安心だったのとVELTRAのポイントを使えたという点で、購入してよかったです。
やはり目玉はジンベイザメですね。初めて見たのでちょっと感動でした。

I was able to visit the Churaumi Aquarium and Sesoko Beach, and since we had extra time, the driver suggested we cross the big bridge to Kouri Island. Thank you for the wonderful day tour at the Churaumi Aquarium (10 hours). We used the service for three people, and the taxi was covered with transparent sheets around the driver's seat, allowing us to sit comfortably in the passenger seat as well. Since our pick-up time was set for 7 AM, we were able to enter the aquarium right when it opened, which was a lot of fun. On the way back, we were taken to a souvenir shop similar to a roadside station, where there were many local foods and souvenirs. It was really great. Thank you very much!

I used this service because I wanted to show my young daughter the underwater world. The price was reasonable, and all the staff were very kind, making for a very enjoyable time. We moved to Coral Point while sitting on the deck, and after arriving at the point, we moved to the bottom of the boat, which felt like being submerged in the sea. I was impressed by that system alone. We were able to see many fish, and my daughter was very satisfied. Additionally, at Motobu Genki Village, there were many activities, including playing with dolphins, which we participated in on-site. I am grateful for the memorable experience I had with my daughter.
