As a traveler, I wanted to find a place where I could experience this without any gear, but since most places offer similar services, I recommend checking their websites thoroughly. There were changing rooms available, and the parking lot can accommodate five cars.

One thing to note is that your bottom will definitely get wet while kayaking. Experiencing this in January can be quite cold, and there's a possibility of rain. If you can prepare, you might need rain gear for both your top and bottom. However, when I mentioned to the staff that I didn't have any rain gear and didn't want to get wet during my trip, they kindly lent me rain pants for free. They also provided shoes. However, a towel is essential, as you'll need it to dry your feet afterward. I brought a towel that I didn't mind throwing away during my travels.

We paddled back and forth on a river about 300 meters long. Along the way, we listened to explanations from the staff. The distance was short, but we enjoyed a leisurely paddle on the kayak. We had a 5-year-old child with us, but since our guide Ko-chan was experienced in handling children, we could trust him completely. It was thoughtful to have a guide who is familiar with kids. Not only did we paddle the kayak, but we also made stops to observe the rocky areas and shallow waters, which provided a nice break. It was wonderful to see Ko-chan adjusting his paddling to match the child's movements, but it's a shame we couldn't capture that moment in a photo.

5歳の子も一緒でしたが、子供の扱いに慣れたこうちゃんがガイドでしたので、安心して任せることができました。子供に慣れているガイドを付けるという心遣いがいいですね。カヤックを漕ぐだけではなく、途中で上陸して岩場や浅瀬の観察も、ちょっとした休憩になってよかったです。子供が漕ぐのにこうちゃんが合わせてオールを動かしてくれる様子がとてもよかったのですが、写真に撮る事が出来なかったのが残念です。

I heard that families participated, and even a 93-year-old had joined, making me feel that this tour was enjoyable even for someone in their 70s like me.

This tour created many memories. It was a wonderful experience that allowed me to rediscover the charm of Okinawa, and I now want to challenge myself to kayak on another river next time.

It was an early morning tour, and we enjoyed paddling together as a parent and child. Since it was high tide and early in the morning, it wasn't too hot, and we had fun paddling. We only managed to catch a crab and a Pacific flying fish that were at the dock. I wonder if we could have seen more of the mangrove roots during low tide.

朝一のツアーでした、親子で力を合わせて漕ぐ楽しみがありました。
満潮時で、朝早かったのでそんなに暑くもなく楽しく漕げましたが、生き物は、カニとミナミトビハゼが船着場に居たので捕まえてみた位でした。
干潮時ならもっとマングローブの根元が見れたのかなぁと思います。

We came as a group of three and had an absolutely amazing experience with Daan, our tour guide. He was extremely friendly and knew a lot about the local sea life. All the staff at Aruguide were also extremely welcoming and kind. We took the kayaks out to the spot where you can snorkel and also see the cave. The cave itself was fairly crowded but the area around it was incredibly beautiful and so many living things everywhere you look. Colorful fish and beautiful clear water. I couldn't recommend this experience more. 10/10
