Both the World Heritage Site of Sefa Utaki and the Valley of Gangala are mystical, and I felt like I received a lot of power from nature. The morning tour allows you to drop off at Naha Airport on the way back, making it a great option for your last day! For visiting the Valley of Gangala individually, a reservation for the 2,500 yen tour is required. This tour takes you to two locations, and you can hear stories about Okinawa from a veteran guide on the bus. I thought it was quite a good deal.

Since it was around the end of summer vacation, we were able to board the glass boat immediately without waiting. There were also very few customers, so it was almost like we had the place to ourselves, which was great. After the glass boat ride, we had more than an hour with nothing to do, and it felt a bit boring.

Choosing the Valley of Gangala was the right decision. I was able to touch on history and learn, which was moving. The guide who explained the Valley of Gangala was very easy to understand and had a fun way of explaining things. That guide left a strong impression on me, and I want to visit again. I applied for the course at Sefa Utaki and Okinawa World.

This was our second tour with my 3-year-old child. Last time, my child was small, so we spent time at the nearby Cape Park during our visit to Sefa Utaki, but this time we took on the challenge. The sata andagi and island bananas at the roadside station we stopped by were delicious. Okinawa World and Gyokusendo Cave are always satisfying, no matter how many times we visit. I participated with an elementary school student. Since we didn't have a car, we opted for a bus tour, and along the way, the guide shared a lot of useful knowledge about Okinawa, which was very educational.
At Sefa Utaki, we had some extra time, so we enjoyed the stunning views at Chinen Misaki. In the Gyokusendo Cave, they provided us with insect repellent spray and let us carry a thermos of salted barley tea, allowing us to explore leisurely for about an hour. It was cold and very refreshing.
We arrived at the airport around 1 PM, and we were able to spend a very meaningful morning.

It was hot outside, but the limestone cave was a bit cool. I was able to enjoy some cold barley tea, and although I had water that had reached room temperature, it was a relief. The guide's explanations were very easy to understand, and I’m really glad I participated in this tour. I was looking at other tours, but since this one departed from my hotel, I decided on it right away. 外は暑いけど、すこーし涼しい鍾乳洞でした。塩入の冷たい麦茶もいただけ、常温になってた水は持っていましたが，助かりました。ガイドさんの説明も大変わかりやすく，このツアーに参加してとても良かったです。他のツアーも見てましたが、丁度ステイ先のホテル発だったので，即決でした。運転手さん、添乗員さん、ガンガラーの谷のガイドさん、おせわになりました、ありがとうございました。

The Sefa Utaki was a bit disappointing. However, the Gyokusendo Cave was very good. The tour guide at Gyokusendo provided interesting explanations, and I enjoyed it. I chose the course of Sefa Utaki and the Gangala Valley. I have visited Okinawa many times before, but this was my first time at these tourist spots. Unfortunately, it was raining when we set off, but by the time we arrived at Sefa Utaki, the rain began to stop, allowing us to explore this top power spot in Okinawa without an umbrella. The scenery at Gangala Valley was also incredibly magnificent, offering a unique experience with its open-air limestone caves. After visiting these two places, we disbanded in front of the Prefectural Office by early afternoon, giving us the freedom to enjoy more sightseeing in Okinawa. The guide was also very attentive in providing information about the southern part of Okinawa.
斎場御嶽とガンガラーの谷のコースを選びました。これまで何度も沖縄は訪れているのですが初めての観光地。あいにく出発時は雨降りでしたが、斉場御嶽に到着すると次第に雨が止み始め、傘なしで沖縄随一のパワースポットを観光する事が出来ました。またその後のガンガラーの谷ももの凄く壮大な景観が広がり、オープンエアの鍾乳洞といった感じで貴重な体験が出来ました。この二つを回っても午後一には県庁前で解散するので午後は自由に沖縄観光を楽しめました。ガイドさんもとても丁寧に沖縄南部の案内をして頂けました。

After visiting Ontake, we headed to the local area via the Niraikanai Bridge. In the valley, each group of about 20 people is accompanied by a facility guide who gives a lecture before we explore.
First, we received a lecture at a café that also serves as the meeting point, located in a large cave with numerous stalactites hanging down, which heightened our anticipation.
In the native forest of Okinawa, we were guided through caves, and on that day, excavation work was being conducted for the discovery of a prehistoric human, allowing us to hear a bit from the professor.
We took the same bus to Okinawa World, which had more visitors heading there. Both places were very interesting, and I wanted to visit both. However, since it was the day of my return home, I had limited time and got off at the airport.
御嶽に行った後、ニライカナイの橋を通って、現地に向かいます。
谷では２０名位ごとのグループに一人の施設のガイドがついて、レクチャー後に回って行きます。
まず、入口のレクチャーを受けるカフェ兼の集合場所が、いくつもの鍾乳石が垂れ下がる大きな洞窟で、期待感MAX。
沖縄の原生林の中、洞窟なども案内しれくれ、当日は、ここで見つかった原人の発掘作業もされており、教授のお話も少し聞くことができました。
隣接したおきなわワールドと同じバスで行きますので、ワールドに行く人数の方が多かったです。あちらも大変興味深く、両方とも行きたかったです。
帰宅日だったので、時間がなく、空港で下車しました。

Even though it's May, on that hot summer day, as I descended a bit from Sakaguchi in the sweltering parking lot, the entrance to the Cave Café suddenly appeared. It is a slightly larger cave with stalactites hanging down. Beyond that, we embarked on a mystical journey of 1 kilometer while listening to the guide's explanations. The Great Banyan Tree is overwhelming. A cool breeze flows in from somewhere, accompanied by the sounds of water, birds, and trees. It was a wonderful time.

On a half-day bus tour, you can efficiently visit either the Nirai Kanai Bridge and the Sefa Utaki or Okinawa World or the Valley of Gangala. I thought there would be a guide for Sefa Utaki, but there wasn't, so that's something to be aware of. I was able to enjoy the atmosphere, so it was okay. Okinawa World’s Gyokusendo Cave was impressive. The highlight, the Super Eisa Show, is very time-sensitive, so be cautious about that as well.

興味がわきネットで調べて路線バスで行ってもガイドツアーに参加することになるのでこのツアーに参加するのが効率が良いと思います この施設の女性ガイドがとても親切にわかりやすいガイドをしてくれたので長い距離を歩いたのですが疲れも感じませんでした。

I participated with my 6-year-old child. Since it had rained heavily the day before, there were some muddy areas, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Especially at Sefa Utaki, there are steep slopes, so it's better to avoid heels or sandals.
The bus attendant was friendly and shared various information, making the one-hour bus ride comfortable. (However, the seat numbers were a bit confusing, so it would be helpful to have them clearly marked.)
At the Valley of Gangala, the guide provided easy-to-understand and interesting stories. I had heard there were caves, so it was great that my child could explore several spots. We also saw many newts and unusual insects.
I wish we had more time to enjoy tea at the Cave Café. Participating in the tour was easy with a child. In my case, I ended up chatting with other guests at Gangala, and we became friends, creating wonderful memories.
６歳児と二人で参加しました。
前日は大雨で少しぬかるんでいる所もありましたので、歩きやすい靴がおすすめです。特に斎場御嶽は急な坂も有るので、ヒールやサンダルはやめておいた方が良いです。
バスの添乗員さんは気さくな方で、色々と情報をトークしてくださり、片道１時間のバスも快適でした。（ただ、座席の番号の数が分かりにくいので、番号を貼って有ると良いと思います。）
ガンガーラの谷はガイドさんが分かりやすい、興味の湧く話しをしてくださりました。洞窟が有ると聞いていたので、子供も数ヶ所回れて良かった様でした。また、イモリや珍しい昆虫なども沢山いました。
ケーブカフェでお茶が出来なかったので、もう少し時間が有ったらなと思います。
子供がいたので、こうやってツアーに参加は楽でした。
私の場合、他のお客様とはガンガーラで話すようになって、仲良くさせて頂いたので、良い思い出が出来ました。
