We did our best despite the bad weather. 悪天候の中頑張りました

It was pouring rain from the morning, and the guide didn't show up at the meeting point, which was frustrating. I finally spotted the guide a bit away from the designated area and was able to board the vehicle.

Due to the bad weather, Sefa Utaki was closed. We checked it out through video footage and headed to Okinawa World.

It was tough in the rain, but I was satisfied after seeing the limestone caves and the Eisa dance. I felt that travel really depends on the weather.

朝から雨がザーザー降り、待ち合わせ場所にガイドさんが来ず、イライラ。所定の場所から離れた所でガイドさんを発見。ようやく乗車できました。
悪天候で斎場御嶽はクローズ。ビデオ映像で確認して、おきなわワールドへ。
雨の中大変でしたが、鍾乳洞やエイサー踊りを見て、満足しました。
旅行は天気次第と感じました。

I was a bit worried that the morning tour on the last day would be rushed, but I ended up having a very fulfilling time at the end of my trip. Both Sefa Utaki and the Gangala Valley were mystical and felt like I had entered another world, so I'm glad I went. At Sefa Utaki, I also visited Chinen Cape early on, and the sea was very beautiful and refreshing. In the Gangala Valley, I had a great experience walking together with a specialized guide who provided explanations. On the bus, the guide gave various explanations about the sightseeing spots and the routes we took, which made it fun and helped me learn about Okinawa.

最終日の午前ツアーで慌ただしくなっちゃうかなぁと思いましたが、旅の最後にとても充実した時間を過ごせました。
斎場御嶽もガンガラーの谷も神秘的で別世界に来たようで行ってよかったです。
斎場御嶽では早めにまわり知念岬もみてきましたが海がとてもきれいで気持ちよかったです。
ガンガラーの谷では専門ガイドさんと説明を受けながら一緒に歩き良い体験ができました。
バスの中ではガイドさんが見学箇所や通る道で色々な説明をしてくれて沖縄の事がわかり楽しかったです。

It seems that the half-day course is not very popular (laughs). We traveled by taxi. However, because of that, they were able to accommodate changes to the itinerary to places I wanted to visit. Even though it was raining, I was able to enjoy a fulfilling sightseeing experience.

They also provided explanations about Okinawa along the way, and since they kept talking, I didn't get bored during the travel.

If a full-day course feels exhausting, I recommend the half-day course!

半日コースで人気がないらしく(笑)
タクシー移動でした。
しかし、その分自分が行きたい所への
コース変更等に答えていただけて
雨でしたが充実した観光が出来ました✌️

I visited Sefa Utaki and the Gangala Valley. The bus ride was spacious and comfortable, and the bus guide provided a lot of interesting information, which was great. The bus guide's performance of Ryukyu folk songs at the end was also wonderful. It was a tour that allowed me to fully enjoy Okinawa.

The Kariyushi Aquarium may not be as grand as the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, but one of its highlights is the thick glass walkway that allows you to see the fish swimming right beneath your feet, which was really great. It was a bit scary to have the aquarium right at your feet, but it was thrilling.

Additionally, the giant jellyfish tank was incredibly mysterious and beautiful, creating a fantastical atmosphere.

The Umikaji Terrace was also wonderful, offering a full taste of Okinawan ambiance.

American Village was enchanting as well, with a very foreign atmosphere, especially at night when the scenery appeared even more mystical than during the day.

かりゆし水族館は、沖縄美ら海水族館ほどのスケールはありませんが、見どころは、分厚いガラスで通路を設けて、魚が泳ぐ様子を足元から見ることが出来るのが凄く良かったです。足元が水槽なので少し怖かったですが、スリル満点でした。
後、クラゲの巨大な水槽が凄く神秘的で素敵でした。幻想的な雰囲気です。
ウミカジテラスは沖縄の雰囲気がたっぷり味わえてこれもまた素敵でした。
アメリカンビレッジも幻想的で異国の雰囲気がとっても良く、特に夜景のほうが昼間見るよりもいっそう神秘的に見えて素敵でした。

I participated in the course at Saijō-ōgū and the Gangala Valley.
1. I was interested in visiting a place I had never been before.
2. Coincidentally, my accommodation was at a pickup location, and most importantly, I could be taken to the airport, which gave me peace of mind for managing my schedule since I planned to return on an afternoon flight.
3. Reservations were possible until the day before, making it easy to plan around the weather.
4. Since it was a guided tour, I thought I could learn about Okinawa while on the bus.
For these reasons, I chose this tour.

Unfortunately, when we arrived at Saijō-ōgū, it was pouring rain, so our group with small children decided to skip entering and instead watched a video at the museum, did some shopping, and enjoyed the view from the cape (the four-star rating is solely due to the unfortunate weather).
At Gangala Valley, the guide provided an interesting experience. They prepared cold barley tea and insect repellent spray for those who wanted it before departure, and they considered the walking pace, allowing my five-year-old and my son and daughter-in-law, who were carrying a one-year-old, to participate.
On the bus, the guide shared various stories about Okinawa, which helped us learn more about the area.

It was a tour that I felt glad to have participated in.

P.S. I was lucky to be able to pass through the Nirai Kanai Bridge this time, as it was a place I wanted to see.

以上の理由から、選択しました。


あいにく、斎場御獄についた時、ひどいどしゃ降りであったため、小さい子どもがいる私たちグループは、入るのをあきらめ、資料館でのビデオ鑑賞、お買い物、岬見物にとどめました(評価の星４つは、あくまで、お天気が不運にも残念だっためです)。
ガンガラーの谷は、そこのガイドさんが案内してくださり、とても、興味深いものでした。冷たい麦茶の水筒、出発前の希望者への虫よけスプレーなど、準備してくださっており、歩くペースも配慮され、５歳の子どもも、１歳児を抱っこした状態の息子夫婦も参加できました。
バスの中では、ガイドさんが、色々な沖縄のお話をしてくださり、沖縄について知ることができました。

参加してよかった、と、思えるツアーでした。

追伸、ニライカナイ橋を今回は？、通ってもらえたため、見たかった場所だったので、ラッキーでした。

I visit Okinawa twice a year, but it had been 15 years since I last went to Okinawa World. I enjoyed sightseeing while reminiscing about the times I went there with my children. It was great to be able to tour in half a day, and in the afternoon, I strolled around Kokusai Street. It's very convenient for tourists without rental cars! I noticed some people went directly to the airport, which I thought was really convenient. I look forward to various combinations of sightseeing in the future.

I used this tour during my stop in Naha on a cruise ship. The time at port was limited, and being late for boarding was absolutely not an option, so I opted for a tour that allowed for efficient sightseeing and made it easy to manage time. It was a pleasant walk from the Wakasa Cruise Terminal to the meeting point at the Kenmin Plaza in front of the Prefectural Office early in the morning; it wasn't too far and was just right. The guide's singing was wonderful.

クルーズ船での那覇寄港の際に利用しました。寄港の時間は限られており，乗船に遅れるのは絶対NGのため，効率的に観光地を巡れて，時間の算段の付きやすい，ツアーを利用しました。若狭のクルーズターミナルから集合場所である県庁前の県民広場まで，早朝に徒歩移動でしたが，遠すぎることなく，丁度よかったです。ガイドさんのお歌が素晴らしかったです。

My friend was looking for a tour that I could join alone on the last day of our trip due to other commitments. After checking reviews, I decided on this half-day tour that visits Saijo-ji and the Valley of Gandala. It was very convenient that they took care of my suitcase on the bus and I could get off at the airport!

Since I was participating alone during the Obon season, I had many concerns, but during the trip, the experienced bus guide shared interesting stories, and since the bus seats were assigned, I was able to participate without stress. There were also several other solo participants, which made me feel more at ease.

Saijo-ji and the Valley of Gandala were incredibly mystical and beautiful places that are hard to describe in words. Since there is a lot of walking, I recommend wearing sneakers and, if possible, long pants and insect repellent for bug protection. It's essential to prepare for sweating as well! I thought about whether the beach would have been better since it was summer in Okinawa, but I’m really glad I went. The tour guide accompanied us in the Valley of Gandala. At Saijo-ji, I could explore at my own pace. I had a little extra time, so I enjoyed some sata andagi at the shop and even went to Chinen Misaki, which was very close by.

I would definitely like to participate again if I have the chance!

友人が別の用事のため、旅行最終日に1人で参加できるツアーを探していました。レビュー等参考にし、半日で斎場御獄とガンダラーの谷を回れるこちらに決めました。スーツケースもバスで預かっていただき、空港で下車でき、大変便利でした！

お盆での1人参加ということもあり不安なこともたくさんありましたが、移動中は経験豊富なバスガイドの方のお話や、バスの座席も指定だったこともあり、ストレスなく参加できました。他にお一人参加の方も複数おられたので安心しました。

斎場御獄とガンダラーの谷、言葉で良い表せないくらいとても神秘的で素敵な場所でした。たくさん歩くのでスニーカー、できれば虫対策に長ズボンや虫除け、とにかく汗をかくのでその対策も必須かと思います！せっかくの夏の沖縄だし海の方が良かったかなと思いましたが、本当に行ってよかったです。ガンダラーの谷はツアーの方が同行してくださいました。斎場御獄は、自由に自分のペースで回ることができます。少し時間が余ったので、売店でサーターアンダギーを食べたり、すぐ近くの知念岬まで行ったりしました。

また機会があればぜひ参加したいです！

On the last day in Okinawa, I visited the Sefa Utaki, which was smaller than I imagined, making it easy to explore. After just a short climb from the ticket office with a beautiful view of the sea, I was surrounded by greenery and could experience a sacred atmosphere.

I was worried about not having enough time at Okinawa World based on reviews, but I was satisfied as I had time to enjoy the Eisa show and Gyokusendo Cave, as well as do some shopping. I was also concerned about possibly being late for my flight during the long holiday, but the guide and the other participants were wonderful, and we were able to arrive at the airport by 1 PM.

In the end, I was pleased to have a compact tour that I could never have done alone. Thank you very much.

長期休暇の際中で飛行機に遅れたらどうしよう、とこれも心配していましたが、ガイドさんと参加者の方が素晴らしく、13時には空港に着くことができました。
結果、コンパクトに、一人ではとても回れない観光ができて満足です。

I was picked up at Makishi Station. I appreciated receiving a call before the meeting time since I was waiting just a few meters away.

We passed by Kencho-mae and Naha Airport.

Sefa Utaki was a sacred place. On the day of my visit, there was light rain and some slippery areas, so please be careful with your footing.

The Valley of Gangala was guided by a local guide who made the experience enjoyable and engaging. On rainy days, the river inside can have a bit of an odor due to drainage from upstream, so if you're sensitive to smells, I recommend visiting on a sunny day.

It was a tour that was satisfying even for just half a day!

県庁前と那覇空港を経由しました。

斎場御獄は神聖な場所でした。

You can see the Kariyushi Ocean Park Aquarium in about an hour. The adjacent shopping mall is also fun. Compared to a few years ago, Umikaji Terrace is no longer as dazzlingly "white." The sea breeze is pleasant.

The first stop on the tour, Sefa Utaki, was my second visit as I had been there during a previous trip to Okinawa. It gives off an impression of a mystical and sacred place. I visited Miibaru Beach for the first time, and it seems to be a hidden gem that even locals don't know much about. The water is crystal clear and quite spacious, making it enjoyable for a stroll. It seems they also operate glass-bottom boats, so if you sign up, you can see tropical fish as well.

ツアーの最初にある斎場御嶽は、以前沖縄を旅行した時に訪れたので、二度目でした。神秘的な聖なる場所という印象です。みーばるビーチは、初めてでしたが地元の人もあまり知らない穴場のようです。海が透き通っていて結構広いので散策を楽しめます。グラスボートも経営しているようなので申し込めば、熱帯魚を見ることも出来てるようです。

I participated in the sacred site of Saijō-ō-take and the Valley of Gangala!

At Saijō-ō-take, I had the precious and mystical experience of stepping into a sacred place of nature. I strongly recommend exploring it with a solemn and humble heart, filled with gratitude, rather than just a touristy mindset.

The Valley of Gangala, on the other hand, I joined with a light-hearted expectation of walking through Okinawa's lush forests, but it turned out to be an absolutely amazing tour that far exceeded my expectations!

The guide provided extremely detailed and easy-to-understand explanations mixed with humor, allowing all participants to learn and be overwhelmed by the incredible mysteries of nature from ancient times!

If Indiana Jones were here, he would surely be thrilled to visit the Valley of Gangala regularly (laughs).

It's a half-day schedule from morning to early afternoon, and since it also stops by Naha Airport on the way back, I recommend it for those with a half-day plan or on the last day of their trip!

I'm really glad I participated!! I will definitely repeat it next time!

ガイドさんの非常に丁寧でわかりやすいユーモア交じりの解説や案内で参加者が皆唸るほど学べて、太古からの驚くほどの大自然の神秘に圧倒されました！

インディ・ジョーンズが居たら大喜びでガンガラーの谷に通うでしょうね（笑）


朝から昼過ぎの半日スケジュールですし、帰りは那覇空港にも立ち寄りますので、半日予定や旅行最終日の方にもオススメです！

During the bus ride, I was able to learn about Okinawa's lifestyle and history while listening to the guide's entertaining stories. It was great to efficiently visit two locations in half a day.

At the Valley of Gangala, we were able to enjoy sanpin tea in a tumbler (which had quite a bit) before departure, allowing us to stay hydrated during the tour. The local guide was full of energy, making the experience very enjoyable. Both places exceeded my expectations.

However, you do need to walk at both locations, and depending on the weather, the footing can be poor, so sneakers are recommended. Additionally, since the Valley of Gangala is in the forest, it's best to wear clothing that covers your arms and legs, as there are many mosquitoes. The staff provided us with some insect repellent gel, but we were glad we brought our own insect repellent spray to use before and during the tour, as many people were getting bitten.

バスの移動中、ガイドさんの楽しい話を聞きながら、沖縄の生活や歴史を知ることができました。半日で２箇所を効率的に回れてよかったです。

ガンガラーの谷では、出発前にさんぴん茶をタンブラー(結構、量があります)で頂くことができ、ツアー中に水分補給ができます。現地のガイドの方は元気いっぱいで、とても楽しく回れます。どちらも期待以上の場所でした。

但し、どちらも歩きますし、天気によっては足場が悪い場合もあるので、スニーカーがおすすめです。
またガンガラーの谷は森の中なので、蚊が多く、手足を出さない服装が良いかと思います。スタッフから虫除けジェルを少し分けていただけますが、私たちは虫除けスプレーを持参して、ツアー前ツアー中に使用して正解でした。噛まれていた方が多かったです。

Due to the rain, we gave up on entering the Cypher Otaki, but the Gangara Valley was a truly wonderful place that left a lasting impression. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided clear explanations.
