Restrictions
- Please ensure you fully understand our tour concept and purpose before making a booking.
- Families are welcome! Please ensure the following conditions are met before booking:
Age & Interest: Children must be interested in snorkeling and willing to participate.
Communication: Participants must be able to follow the instructor’s guidance and safety instructions.
Safety First: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask that children have the basic ability to communicate with the staff. - Supervision Ratio: Please ensure there is at least one adult (parent/guardian or guide) for every child (elementary schooler or preschooler).
(Example: For a tour with 1 guide and 1 parent, a maximum of 2 children may participate.) - A single supplement fee applies for solo participants.
- Participation is restricted to individuals who can communicate effectively in either Japanese or English.
Additional notes
- During the peak season, ferries, accommodations, and restaurants get very crowded. Please check our tour availability first, then ensure you book your accommodation and ferry tickets in advance.
- If a child participates solely because of their parents' wishes without wanting to themselves, they may become frightened, struggle to swim, or finish the tour without enjoying it. Furthermore, such an experience could create a long-lasting fear of the ocean. Please make sure to confirm your child’s own interest and willingness before booking the tour.
- Children age 4 and under: Unless they are already taking swimming lessons, it is often difficult for young children to use a mask and snorkel properly or to look underwater. Because of this, it can be challenging for them to fully enjoy the snorkeling experience.
- Cancellation & Changes: As this is a private booking, we often turn down other guests to hold your spot. If your plans change or you can no longer attend, please contact us as early as possible. We appreciate your cooperation!
- Fees will apply for cancellations made for personal reasons, including poor health or weather conditions (such as rain or cloudy skies) that do not prevent the tour from being conducted.
- No cancellation fees will be charged if the tour is cancelled due to severe weather conditions that pose a safety risk, such as typhoons or lightning.
