Excellent experience, the host and musicians were very upbeat and the whole jazz boat ride was fun! The trip seems to end before you know it, so make sure to have your camera ready! You can get excellent photos at night, so try to take a time slot later in the day.

I happened to stay in Osaka for one night and had some free time, so I was looking for various events. It was inexpensive, but it turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected. The performers were relaxed and had a typical Osaka vibe. The moment we passed under the bridge had the best echo and was quite powerful. However, I think the evening would be even better than during the day.

From the shore, I received waves and applause from many people, including foreign tourists, local Osaka ladies, and groups of high school students. I felt a bit like a star.

たまたま、大阪に一泊することになって、たまたま時間があったので、いろいろイベントを探していました。格安だったけど、思った以上に、楽しかったです。演奏の方達も軽くゆるくて、大阪らしい感じ。橋の下を通る時が、一番反響があって、迫力ありましたね。ただ、昼間よりは、夕刻の方がもっといい感じでしょうね。
岸から、外国人観光客や、大阪のおばちゃん、高校生のグループなど多くの人から、手を振られたり、拍手されたり、チョット、スター気分でした。

I participated among tourists from Osaka because I had points available.

There are times when they hold flea markets and events at Minatomachi River Place, so I joined in to coincide with that.

While on board, many people waved at us from the bridge. We stopped in front of Glico to take photos, and during the jazz performance, we could enjoy ourselves with tambourines and maracas. The weather was nice, so it felt great.

Although I participated during the day due to my schedule, personally, I think the glittering nightlife of Minami is more recommended.

ポイントがあった為、大阪から観光客に混じっての参加です。

湊町リバープレイスでフリマやイベントをしている時があるのでそれに合わせての参加です。

乗船中たくさんの方々が橋から手を振ってくれます。グリコの前で止まってくれ写真を撮ったり、ジャズ演奏中はタンバリンやマラカスで楽しめます。お天気が良かったので気持ち良かったです。

こちらの都合でお昼間の参加でしたが、個人的には夜のギラギラのミナミがおススメかと思います。

I was able to enjoy my time on board without getting bored thanks to the rakugo performer’s witty storytelling. It was a Saturday, and the boat was fully booked with a group. I often visit Osaka, but this was my first experience on a cruise, and it was great to see the sights from a different perspective.

落語家さんの軽妙なおしゃべりで乗船中は退屈せず、楽しく過ごせました。この日は土曜日で団体さんと一緒で満席状態でした。大阪にはよく遊びに来ていましたが、今回のようなクルーズは初体験でいつもと違った目線で観光ができて良かったです。

The boat left the dock promptly at the listed departure time (there was a family that got there one minute after and they were stuck watching us from the dock). The jazz was great, it was a very talented group of musicians. However, about ten minutes after we took off it started to rain! The musicians were very prepared and handed out umbrellas for us, and even played through the rain until it got too bad and we had to turn back to the dock. However, the fifteen minutes or so that I experienced were great! Great and unique views of Dotonbori with jazz musicians that are truly dedicated to their craft and to their guests' experience. I would highly recommend!

This was my first time participating with a friend visiting from abroad. After departure, we suddenly encountered heavy rain, but there was thoughtful consideration such as distributing umbrellas (although the small umbrellas were not enough for the downpour...). Despite getting soaked, we had a great time. Although it’s a narrow river in the city, we enjoyed wonderful jazz, making it a tour with a different depth compared to a cruise on a large river. However, because the rain was so severe, we returned to port at a faster speed, which felt a bit like a loss... Since most of the passengers were from overseas, I'm not sure how useful it would be, but it would have been nice to have some kind of service voucher or commemorative postcard for the next time.

海外から遊びに来た友人連れての初めての参加、出発後途中で突然の大雨でしたが、傘を配るなどの気遣いもあり(大雨過ぎて小さな傘では間に合いませんでしたが・・・）びしょぬれになりながらも楽しめました。都会の狭い川ではありますが、素敵なjazzも聴けて大河のクルーズとは違う思いで深いツアーとなりました。但し、雨があまりにもひどかったのでスピードアップでの帰港だったので、ちょっと損したような・・・乗船者がほとんど海外の方なので、役に立つかどうかですが、次回サービス券、記念ポストカードなどなんらかあってもよかったような。

This was my first time participating.

If you've ever been on a Seine River cruise in Paris, you can easily imagine this cruise, I think.

As for the scenery, there were times when trees obstructed the view, but that's to be expected. At attractions like Osaka Castle, the boat moves slowly, so thanks to the captain's kind consideration, I was able to take some photos.

Inside the boat, the air conditioning was just right, and there was hardly any rocking. There was no need to worry about getting seasick. The announcements were also easy to hear. It was a comfortable cruise. The staff were all kind and courteous. I felt good from check-in until disembarking. Thank you very much!

I would like to participate again in another season.

フランス/パリのセーヌ川クルーズに参加した事のある方は、それを思い出してみるとこちらのクルーズを想像しやすいかと思います笑

肝心の景色は、木が邪魔して見えにくい事もありましたが、それは仕方ないですね。大阪城みたいな見所ではゆっくり進んでくれるので、船長さんの優しいご配慮で何とか写真は撮れます。

船内については、エアコンも適度に効いており、揺れもほぼ無し。酔う心配はご無用でした。アナウンスも聞こえ易かったです。快適なクルーズでした。スタッフさんも皆親切丁寧でした。チェックインから船を降りるまで気分良く過ごせました。ありがとうございました！

また他の季節に参加してみたいと思いました。

On the day of the event, a typhoon was approaching, but it went ahead safely. I had a great time enjoying the jazz performance! I was moved to pass under a bridge I usually don't go under and to see the Glico sign up close. There were many foreign guests, but everyone was having a great time. Even without a common language, I felt once again that music transcends borders. The songs were familiar to me, and since I was able to borrow a tambourine, I could participate actively. I had a very enjoyable time! Thank you very much. It was amazing!

Departures after 12:00 are convenient since Namba is the departure point. The interior of the ship was cleaner than I expected, and the spacious seating made the 90-minute cruise very enjoyable. The guide for the day was the rakugo performer Katsura Yoshisan, who explained the history of each bridge and the surrounding area with a light-hearted and humorous talk. It was really great. Even as a local resident, I had a wonderful time, so I highly recommend it to both tourists and locals.

I live in Osaka, and I was curious about what the view from a boat would be like, especially during cherry blossom season, so I decided to participate. To put it simply, it was a great decision to join. The cherry blossom trees along the river and the Glico sign looked completely different from the boat, which was very interesting. The storytelling by the rakugo performer, along with explanations of the scenery and entertaining anecdotes, kept the atmosphere lively.

Regarding the tour, the boat accommodates 40 people, but when I participated, there were not many attendees (only Japanese), making it very relaxed. The boat has a low hull, so your eye level is close to the water's surface, and passing under bridges was thrilling in some spots. We also traveled along Dotonbori River, where many people waved at us, which was lively and truly reflected the spirit of Osaka.

I had a wonderful experience looking at the city of Osaka from the boat, and I was very satisfied.

大阪市内に住んでいますが、船から見える景色はどんなものか、ちょうど桜の季節なので船から桜を見たらどんな感じなのかということに興味があったので参加。結論から言えば、参加して大正解。大川沿いの桜並木や、グリコの看板など、普段見慣れた景色も船から見るとこんな感じになるのかということが非常に興味深かったです。また落語家さんの話も、景色の解説や小噺など、船内を飽きさせないようにという配慮も良かった。
　ツアーの内容に触れると、船は40人乗りの船ですが、私が参加したときはあまり参加者がおらず（日本人のみ）、非常にゆったりとしていました。乗る船は船体が低いため、目線が水面と近く、橋の下を通り抜けるときは場所によってはスリル満点。また道頓堀川を通るのですが、手を振ってくれる人が多く、ノリよくて、さすがは大阪人だと思いました。
　船の上から大阪の街を眺めるという貴重な体験ができて、大いに満足です。

Fun, polite, friendly crew. Japanese language only! Great Cruise and amazing lunch and Museum building. We really enjoyed! If I had to find anything to critique, I would have liked to have spent a bit more time cruising around downtown enjoying the Sakura. But not a huge issue, we had a wonderful time and sang some fun songs!

A few years ago, I participated in a workplace trip. It was with Kintaro Katsura. I had been hoping to go with my wife, and finally, that wish has come true. This time, it was guided by Senta Hayashiya.

Our silver wedding anniversary has come and gone, and with our golden wedding anniversary approaching, I was able to give my wife the best gift for our wedding anniversary. The day before boarding the cruise, I saw a similar cruise ship from Ebisu Bridge, and I noticed that the passengers were all Chinese, which made me feel a bit anxious. However, I thought that since this was a cruise with "Rakugo Performers," and it was a different cruise company, I probably wouldn't be seated with Chinese passengers.

The course was changed due to construction, but it was great to see Osaka Castle. The rakugo performers experienced things they don't usually encounter, and it was truly enjoyable. I was worried about the weather and whether it would be cold, but it turned out to be nothing to worry about at all. It would be nice if there were a shuttle bus available.

工事でコースが変更なりましたが、大阪城が見れたり良かったです。
落語家さんも普段経験しない事などが、次々に起こり、本当に楽しかったです。
天気や寒くないか心配しましたが、全く気にしなくて良かったです。

The Yodoyabashi boarding area is located just after exiting Exit 2 of Yodoyabashi Station on the Osaka Metro and going up the 14th A staircase of Keihan Yodoyabashi.

I arrived about an hour early for my reservation, but there was a Café Veloce Yodoyabashi right at the corner of the nearby intersection where I could wait while enjoying some tea.

The interior of the boat was bright with a white theme, and the air conditioning was effective, making it comfortable. The sightseeing from the river was fresh and interesting.

However, it was disappointing that the sightseeing announcements were playing, but the volume was low and hard to hear.

淀屋橋乗り場は
大阪メトロ淀屋橋駅2番出口を出て京阪淀屋橋の14号A階段を上がるとすぐにありました。

予約時間より1時間ほど早く着きましたがすぐ近くの交差点角に
カフェベローチェ淀屋橋がありお茶を飲みながら待てました。

船内は白が基調で明るくエアコンが効いてきて快適でした。
川から見る観光は目新しくて面白かったです。

ただ観光アナウンスが流れているんですが音量が小さく聞こえづらかったのが残念でした。

As expected from a speaking professional! I learned about Osaka's history and trivia in a witty manner, and I really enjoyed it. The view of Osaka from the water is something special. Sometimes the ceiling was opened, and at other times, the boat was lowered to just above the water's surface, which kept things interesting.

A group of seven siblings and their spouses participated, with a total age of 516 years. We enjoyed it more than we expected, and I think a big part of that was thanks to the witty talk of the rakugo performer. We were able to leisurely see the streets of Osaka while passing through many alleys.

I boarded the Aqua Line from Osaka Castle Park. The view of Osaka from the water was quite different and really nice. It was a hot day, but it was comfortable. Although there were only a few options, drinks and snacks were being sold on board. I was able to see Osaka Castle beautifully. It was a lot of fun.

大阪城公園からアクアラインに乗車しました。
