If you just ride the boat normally, it would just be a simple river cruise, but as expected from a rakugo performer, the storytelling was excellent and I was never bored. Even though it was a weekday, the boat was almost full. There were also guests from Nagano and Akita. I highly recommend this tour!

普通に船に乗っていたら、ただの川下りになってしまいますが、さすが落語家さん、話がうまく、全く飽きませんでした。平日なのに、ほぼ満席。長野や秋田から来られているお客さんもいました。このツアー、かなりオススメです！

Since my son started learning the guitar, I casually looked for some good events and found one nearby in Osaka! I thought it would be mostly overseas events, but surprisingly, there are also day trips to enjoy. A cruise on the Dotonbori River is something I wouldn't normally think to do living in Kansai, so I think it was a great opportunity. However, even though it was said that he could perform with his favorite instrument, my son hesitated to bring his guitar from Kobe, so he participated without any instrument. On the day of the event, he chose from the instruments provided on the boat, but he only shook the maracas. I wish there had been some larger instruments available.

さらっと探してみたら、近所の大阪でありました！
海外ばかりと思ってたら意外と日帰りで楽しむものも。
道頓堀川をクルーズするなんて、関西に暮らしてたらわざわざ「行こう」と思わないので
いい機会だったと思います。
ただ肝心の「好きな楽器で演奏できる」といってもギターを神戸から持って行くほど
、、と息子が躊躇したので手ぶら参加。当日船で備え付けの楽器から選びましたが、
マラカスをふりふりしただけ。
もうちょっと大掛かりな楽器もあったらな、、。

I viewed the familiar city of Osaka from a water bus, taking in sights like the Osaka City Library, Yodoyabashi, the Business Tower, and the Mint Bureau, which I usually can't see from this angle. It was exciting to see a different perspective and discover new aspects of the city. There were also explanations provided as we passed by, allowing me to learn about the history as well. I got to see areas like the back of the bridges that are usually not visible, and I learned many things I didn't know before, which was educational.

It's a pity that I couldn't see Osaka Castle very well, but overall, it was a fun and smooth ride. I think if I go during cherry blossom season, both sides will be in full bloom, making it even more beautiful. Next time, if I have the chance, I would like to ride during the cherry blossom season.

慣れ親しんだ大阪の街を水上バスで川面から眺めてみた。
大阪市民図書館や淀屋橋、ビジネスタワー、造幣局など普段なら見ることのできない、
位置から見ることができた。
普段とは違う見た目に少し興奮しながら、新しい面を見ることができたのが良かったです。
近くを通るときは解説も流れていたので、歴史とかも知ることができた。
また橋の裏側など見ることができない個所も見れたし、全然しらないことも解説されていたので、勉強になりました
大阪城があまり見えなかったのが、残念ですが、揺れもなく楽しい周遊でした。

桜の季節に行くと両側が桜で満開になってるとおもうので、そのころだとまた一段と綺麗なんだろうと思います。
次は機会があれば、桜のころに乗ってみたいと思います。

It was the best cruise experience, romantic and incredibly fulfilling, while listening to the lively and fun live performance of my favorite Dixieland jazz. This tour is a must for everyone visiting from overseas, as well as those coming from various parts of Japan to explore Osaka Minami, especially local couples! Rather than just a simple sightseeing tour of the water city of Osaka, it's definitely an exciting secret date course for passionate couples!

I've had the pleasure of creating wonderful memories with Alan1 (VELTRA) in Italy, France, New Caledonia, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Florida, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, but I never expected that a cruise in my hometown of Osaka, particularly in the familiar Dotonbori area, would become a memorable experience rivaling the Blue Grotto in Capri and the gondola cruises in Venice. I was amazed and moved by the beauty of the lighting in the tunnel under the bridge, which I never anticipated.

While enjoying the lively jazz boat cruise, I felt an overwhelming sense of superiority as I received warm gazes from many tourists of all ages, who were smiling and waving from the promenades along both banks of the Dotonbori River, as well as from the tipsy patrons of the various restaurants lining the banks, and the envious looks from young couples. The view of the world-famous Glico sign from directly below was exceptional, even though it was under renovation that day, featuring a poster of Haruka Ayase instead of the usual illuminated sign. However, this too became a living witness to a historical scene.

I guarantee that you will feel like a king or queen, or even a movie star, enveloped by the curious gazes from those around you, experiencing an unparalleled sense of superiority and endless fun, making for a memorable and enjoyable travel experience!

The view from the boat and the refreshing breeze were wonderful.

I was surprised that probably over 80% of the tourists on board were Chinese tourists.

船から見る景色もさわやかな風も素敵でした。

ただ驚いたのが、乗船していた観光客の多分80％以上は中国人の観光客だったのかなと
思います。

Waving to everyone in Osaka from the sightseeing boat, it's a fun tour. 遊覧船から大阪の皆さんへ手を振ると、楽しいツアーです。

Fortunately, the guide on the day of the tour was Kintaro Katsura, who also appears in the promotional photos for this tour, and his performance infused with rakugo was incredibly entertaining.

On the day of the tour, the weather was clear, and the roof of the sightseeing boat was fully open, allowing us to see people walking along the shore up close. When I waved to the pedestrians (ordinary people from Osaka) from the boat, they all returned my wave with bright smiles.

At the finale near Dotonbori, all the participants on the tour were singing "Rokko Oroshi" while waving to the people walking on the bridge. Since it was Dotonbori, there were many passersby, and of course, the people on the bridge waved back, making me feel the warm hospitality of Osaka.

It seems that not only tourists but also many locals from the Osaka area joined the tour, making it truly enjoyable. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to participate again.

運の良い事に、参加日のガイドは、このツアー紹介写真にも出ている桂きん太郎さん（師匠？）に当たり、落語の芸が入った案内がたいへん面白いツアーでした。

参加日当日は快晴で、遊覧船の屋根が全開でしたので、岸辺を歩く方々が間近に見えました。
船から歩いている方々（大阪の一般通行人です）へ手を振ると、道行く皆さんは、良い笑顔で手を振り返してくれます。

フィナーレの道頓堀あたりでは、ツアー参加者のお客さんは皆、船内に流れる六甲おろしを合唱しながら橋の上の道行く大阪の皆さんへ手を振っていました。
道頓堀なので通行人も多かったですが、もちろん橋の上の人たちも手を振り返してくれて、大阪の「おもてなし」を感じました。
（写真３：他の乗客の方も写っているので、顔はモザイクかけていますが、満面の笑顔です）

観光客に限らず大阪方面が地元の人もけっこう乗っているようなツアーで、本当に楽しめますので、機会があれば、ぜひまた参加したいです。
