At Kiyomizu-dera, I ran out of time and could only manage to grab lunch without being able to worship, which I regret a little. I understand there are limits to the time spent on-site, but it seems there was no strict need to adhere to the prior notice stating, "Lunch will be on your own at Kiyomizu-dera." I wish I had eaten my bento during the transfer from Fushimi Inari Taisha, but I’ll take this as a lesson for next time.
