However, since the highway bus terminal is quite large from one end to the other, I asked a ticket sales staff nearby, and they said, "Today it's platform 7." It might be different each time! While waiting at platform 7, about 10 minutes before the meeting time, a red double-decker bus arrived!
I told the guide my name and went to the designated seat on the second floor. It was a hot day, so I received a cooling patch. There was a mist spray from the front, but it barely reached me, who was sitting in the fourth row from the front. Since it was a tour at 4 PM in the height of summer, the west sun was intense, so I highly recommend that anyone planning to join at the same time prepare hats, towels, sunglasses, etc. Also, don't forget to stay hydrated.
The tour itself was satisfying as we were able to circle around the city of Osaka with explanations. As a first-time visitor to Osaka, I was already impressed just by seeing Dotonbori and Tsutenkaku. It really makes a difference to hear local explanations while exploring. Thank you very much!
記載どおり、大阪駅の”ノースゲートビル高速バス乗り場”で集合でした。…といっても、高速バス乗り場が端から端まで広いので(^-^; 近くにいたチケット販売の駅員さんに尋ねると、「今日は7番乗り場だよ」とのことでした。毎回違うのかもですね！7番乗り場で待っていると集合時間の10分ほど前に、赤い2階建てバスがやって来ました！
ガイドさんに名前を伝え、指定された2階の座席へ。暑い日でしたので、冷えピタくんをいただきました。前方からのミスト噴射(?)がありましたが、前から4列目だった私のもとへも届くか届かないかくらいのσ(^_^;) 真夏の16時のツアーだったので、とにかく西日がすごく、同じ時間帯に参加希望の方は、ぜひ帽子・タオル・サングラス等ご自身で準備することをおすすめします！あと、水分も忘れずに。
ツアー自体は、大阪の市街地を説明とともに一周でき、満足でした。初大阪だった私は、生道頓堀、生通天閣だけで、もう感動でした。笑 やっぱり現地の説明を聞きながら巡ることができると、なるほど〜となりますね。

We rode on a double-decker bus for the first time during our trip with five family members ranging from their 20s to 80s. I was worried about whether the elderly could climb the bus stairs, but there were handrails, and it was fine.
The seats were narrow, but the weather was clear, and the pleasant breeze in May made the view of Osaka from above absolutely fantastic. The scenery in Dotonbori was different from what we saw while walking, and I thought it was worth more than the price with the enjoyable guided tour.
If I have the chance, I would like to ride it again.

I visited Osaka for the first time in my 60s. I felt strongly that it is indeed a city with a rich history, both from what I had seen on TV and from the guide's explanations. I was impressed by the wonderful stone walls of Osaka Castle, which I didn't know much about before. My friend and I talked about taking our time to explore Osaka Castle next time. I hope that the historical heritage, as well as the new developments, will be cherished in Osaka, and I would love to visit again. Although the sun was a bit hot, I enjoyed the double-decker bus while feeling the seasonal breeze. I definitely want to come back during cherry blossom season.

This is my second time in Osaka, and choosing this way to explore the city is just fantastic. The explanations along the way were very detailed (it would be even better if there were guided devices). The selection of attractions was very insightful, and during this one hour, I was never bored. I gained a lot from this experience.

It was a beautifully sunny season with cherry blossoms in full bloom. The weather was pleasant, and the guide's sightseeing information was easy to understand. It was a fun time seeing the iconic spots of Osaka! If I had to be picky, one hour wasn't enough, and I wanted to stay longer!

Since it was the cherry blossom season, I participated in the Kitaueda route. I was really looking forward to going around the Mint Bureau, but we only passed by the gate (>_<). I was quite disappointed given my expectations. On the other hand, the view at Osaka Castle was very nice, and we had plenty of time to stop and take photos, so I was satisfied. The guide's explanations were also thorough and enjoyable. Although the COVID-19 pandemic has somewhat subsided, I still hesitate to enter crowded places, so sightseeing on the open bus was very good.
桜の開花時期だったので北梅田ルートに参加しました。
造幣局を回るということでとても楽しみにしていましたが、門の前を通っただけ(>_<)
期待をしていただけに、とても残念でした。
その代わりというか、大阪城での景色はとても良く、停車して写真タイムも十分にとってあったので満足しています。
ガイドさんの案内も、丁寧で楽しめました。
コロナ禍が多少過ぎたとは言え、人混みに入るのはまだまだためらいがあるので、オープンバスでの観光はとても良かったです。

However, it was a bit disappointing that there was no sense of openness, but the guide was considerate and opened the roof during breaks in the rain, allowing us to experience the panoramic views for a short while. 当日は天気が悪く貸出用のレインコート（パンフに記載）使用かと心配しましたが何と開閉式の屋根があり雨の心配もなく観光出来ました。だだ解放感がないのは残念でしたがガイドの方が雨の合間をみて屋根を開けて頂き少しの間ですがパノラマ観光の雰囲気を感じる事が出来ました。このような配慮は良かったと思います。ありがとうございました。

Everyone who participated was from Osaka, totaling five people. My husband and I moved to the Kanto region nearly 50 years ago after getting married, so it was our first time sightseeing in Osaka in 50 years. Even though I lived in Osaka, there were places I hadn't visited, and some areas have become very beautiful, so it was a fun experience with new discoveries.

My classmate suggested that I try a tour around Osaka, so I planned it. We took a double-decker bus with no roof, and although the weather was a bit chilly, it was amazing to see the tall buildings of Osaka! It’s impossible to walk while looking up at the sky, so being able to see the tall buildings one after another was a wonderful experience!
I heard that the Osaka Marubiru will be demolished next year!
