It was a sightseeing route that only offered views from the train window, but there were many tourist attractions, and the explanations were easy to understand. The guide kept explaining without any dull moments, so the hour flew by. I wanted to hear more stories. It was a very enjoyable tour. Thank you very much.
車窓だけの観光ルートだったけど、観光名所が多く説明が聞き取りやすかった。

The guide mentioned that Kiyomizu-dera would take about 120 minutes (including lunch), but in reality, it took around 80 minutes due to heavy traffic that made it difficult to proceed as planned. There was a walking map for Arashiyama, but I would have liked a map showing the location of the parking lot for Kiyomizu-dera as well. It was a bit disappointing.

The north wind was a bit chilly, but I was comfortable with the blanket and hand warmer provided. Running while looking up at the tall buildings was refreshing. The guide also explained the famous landmarks, and there were places I learned about for the first time. I can't believe an hour went by so quickly; I had a great time.

This time, I participated with my daughter. I am someone who wants to fully enjoy Kyoto, but I’m not very confident in my physical stamina. This tour made it possible to fulfill both desires. I wondered if it would be too much to visit Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama all in one day. However, even though we couldn't stroll leisurely, the guide provided explanations in both English and Japanese, allowing us to efficiently enjoy the sights.
There was no stress from transfers, seat changes, or crowds. We enjoyed sightseeing, autumn leaves, choosing souvenirs, and food tasting. I believe that having both physical and mental ease made the trip enjoyable. I also had a nice little interaction with foreign visitors, which became a good memory. One request I have is that it would be helpful to teach foreign guests how to eat lunch, such as how to enjoy tofu with salt or dipping sauce.
I was able to create wonderful memories with my daughter, who is marrying and moving far away. Thank you very much. I definitely want to participate in another course next time.

乗り継ぎ、席替え、人混みなどのストレスは、ありません。
観光、紅葉、お土産選び、食べ歩き楽しめました。心身ともに、余裕があるからこそ旅が、楽しく感じることができたのだと思います。
外国人の方とも、プチ交流がもてて良い思い出になりました。一つお願いは、ランチの食べ方は、外国人の方に教えてあげると良いと思いました。豆腐に塩や、天汁の食べ方。
遠方に嫁ぐ娘と素晴らしい思い出を作ることができました。ありがとうございました。
次も絶対、別のコースで参加したいです。

There was no display of the tour name, so every time a bus arrived, I had to confirm with the driver, only to be told it was the wrong one, which increased my anxiety. Finally, when I received a call on my mobile, it turned out to be the bus I had checked once before. The guide mentioned that there was a Chinese participant on the list, which led to the mix-up. I began to lose trust in the service.
However, the Chinese guide repeatedly apologized and showed genuine concern, which helped ease my feelings of distrust. I believe that if the tour name were displayed on the bus, it would go much more smoothly. Other Chinese tours also lacked this display, while Japanese companies had clear signage. I participated in the 17:10 course, and the sky was a night color with no rain, making for a comfortable time. Since it's an open double-decker bus, you can enjoy the illuminations from a panoramic and unique angle that you absolutely can't see from the ground or a regular car. The guide kindly pointed out the viewing spots, and depending on the traffic conditions, you can leisurely enjoy the light-up while chatting. The course with lunch included had options for a Kyoto cuisine set and a Kyoto tofu set, and since I was there, I chose the Kyoto cuisine course. However, the restaurant specializes in tofu dishes, and naturally, the meal consisted entirely of tofu dishes. I couldn't help but ask the person I was dining with which tour course they had chosen. They seemed to be worried too, wondering if this was not the Kyoto tofu course.
There were many delicious-looking restaurants near Kiyomizu-dera, so I thought I should have skipped the lunch option given this meal.
I was satisfied with the tour itself as we visited the main four locations. However, the schedule was tight, so I don't think it's suitable for those who want to take their time exploring. The tour guide was accommodating in both English and Japanese, and their service was good. It was just the meal that was disappointing.
昼食付きのコースは、京料理御膳と京豆腐御膳があり、せっかくだからと京料理御膳のコースを選択しました。
しかし、お店は豆腐料理のお店で、食事内容ももちろん豆腐料理ばかり。
思わず、一緒に食事をした方にどのツアーコースを選択したか確認しました。その方も、これは京豆腐コースじゃないのか？と不安に思っていたようです。
清水寺には美味しそうなお店がたくさんあったので、この内容なら昼食付きにしなければ良かったなと思いました。
ツアー自体は主要な4箇所を回れたので満足しています。ただ、スケジュールがタイトなので、ゆっくり見て回りたい方は向いていないかと思います。
