The Floating Observatory is created by a circular bridge that connects the two towers of the Umeda Sky Building, and allows visitors a great view of all of Osaka and all the way out to Awaji Island. Part of the fun is riding the long escalators which are 170 meters in the air and provide quite a thrill. After enjoying the quiet on top of the city, make your way to the basement to check out the Takimi Koji Gourmet Street, a real trip back in time to the Showa Era.
