Out of a total of 44 participants, there were only two Japanese people. The explanations were primarily in English, followed by Japanese. This was not a source of dissatisfaction; rather, since the Japanese participants spoke English, it was not difficult to understand, and it also served as a good opportunity to study English. Although it was a tour of Kyoto, it had a strong sense of being in a foreign place, making for a fun and strange experience. The highlights were well covered, and the Japanese cuisine course for lunch was interesting for the international guests, as they didn't know how to eat it and were watching how my husband and I did.

全体の参加者が44名の中で日本人は二人だけ。基本は英語の説明があってそのあと日本語で。これが不満という事はなく、むしろ日本人が話す英語なので理解は難しくなく英語の勉強にもなりました。京都のツアーながらアウェイ感満載で不思議な感覚の楽しいツアーとなりました。見所はキチンと押さえていてお昼の日本料理コースは海外の方からすると食べ方が解らず、私たち夫婦の食べ方を見ながらという面白い光景もありました。

We really enjoyed our Sunshine Tour of Kyoto. The shrines were just breathtaking and the shopping along the streets of Kyoto was first rate.

Our guide, Yumi, was very informative and we loved her insight into the great history of the region.

We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to enjoy the rich history of Kyoto in a relaxed and casual fashion.

The tour takes the tourist to great places (not to be missed) around Kyoto, and the overall experience was good.
Personnel was courteous. The included lunch (Japanese) was a very nice experience with typical Japanese food to enjoy.

However, we felt as though we had to enjoy the sites on our own, which is okay, since having some free time to wander around the site is necessary; but the balance with information about the site (and history) and free time was not as we would expect, hence it did feel superficial, and the tour seemed more like being taken to the great places of Kyoto rather than being guided.

Our English tour guide did an excellent job, giving us the details/history on every places we visited. Both bus and train rides were comfortable without any difficulty... Buffet lunch was good.

We had very good time visiting three gorgeous and cultural places on this tip.

We were traveling with two children (7 &9) and elderly. The tour bus was clean and spacious even the tour was full. The tour guides were very friendly and helpful especially they were happy helping us taking group photos.

The first stop was Amanohashidate. The view was breathtaking once we got on the top of hill via monorail. Our tour guide showed us traditional way of looking at the strip of islands, bending forward and look between two legs. Apparently by looking at the island this way, it will look like a dragon flying into the sky. My son said he could see it but I will leave this for you to try it yourself.

After the first stop we had lunch included in the
tour. We had lots of yummy sashimi and sushi. It you don’t like raw seafood, they also provided cooked seafood, grill plate and hotpot to cook seafood yourself.

After lunch we took a boat ride to see the traditional fishing village, the most interesting thing was that there were lots sea hawks flying around waiting for you to feed. You can buy shrimp crackers for 100 yen. One tip, don’t put the crackers in your hand. They are hawks with sharp claws.

The last stop was to visit a traditional village. Their houses are built with straws and mud bricks.

I had been to Kyoto several times before, but this time I wanted to do some serious sightseeing, so I signed up for a tour.

First of all, my honest impression is that it was a very satisfying tour. We visited four famous spots in one day, which was a bit physically demanding, but I was aware of that when I joined, so I have no complaints. The time spent at each location was just right—not too long and not too short.

Our tour guide, Shimizu, was very kind and attentive, making sure to accommodate us Japanese participants among the foreign tourists.

Although the participants were mostly foreign tourists, surprisingly, they were punctual and smiled a lot. We enjoyed taking photos of each other and had fun conversations.

I recommend this tour for those who want to explore Kyoto thoroughly in one day and enjoy seeing the city with foreigners.

何度か行ったことのある京都でしたが、今回はガッツリ観光がしたかったので申し込みました。

まず率直な感想としては大満足なツアーになりました。
有名どころの4ヶ所を1日で周ったので体力的に少し大変な部分もありましたが、それも承知の上での参加だったので不満はありません。
ひとつひとつの場所も長すぎず短すぎず丁度良い滞在時間でした。

添乗員の清水さんも外国人観光客ばかりのなか、日本人の自分達にも心地よく親切丁寧に対応して頂きました。

参加者は外国人観光客ばかりでしたが、失礼ながら意外にも集合時間も守るし笑顔も多くお互いに写真を撮りあったら会話も楽しかったです。

ガッツリ1日で京都を周りたい方、外国人と楽しく京都を見て周りたい方にオススメのツアーです。

On a nearly full bus with foreigners, I was the only Japanese person, but the tour guide was considerate and provided guidance in both English and Japanese.

I live in Nagoya and don't know much about Kyoto, but when my foreign friend came to Japan and expressed a desire to visit Kyoto, I searched for a course to help us navigate. We were able to visit various places, and my friend was very satisfied, which was great. I recommend it!

ほぼ満席のバスで外国人の中、私1人が日本人でしたが、添乗員さんは気を使ってくれて、英語と日本語で案内してくれました。

自分が名古屋に住んでいて京都の事はよくわからないのに、外国人の友達が日本に来て、京都にいきたいと言われ、どうやって回ろうか考えていた時に探したコースです。
いろいろ場所にいけて、友達も満足してくれてとても良かったです。

I wanted to change my departure from Osaka to disembark in Kyoto, and the prior inquiry was very polite and left a good impression. On the day of the tour, it was a Monday after a holiday, and everywhere was crowded, but we were able to move around very efficiently. In Arashiyama, we had free time to explore, but we were guided to the popular bamboo grove as requested. About 60% of the participants were international tourists, and after the English guidance, we also received instructions in Japanese, which made me feel like I was part of an overseas bus tour.

大阪発着を京都下車に変更したく、事前の問い合わせもとても丁寧で好感が持てました。
当日は、連休後の月曜日でどこも混雑していましたが、とても効率よく回れました。嵐山も自由散策ですが、リクエストの多い竹林までは案内していただけました。
参加者は６割ほどが訪日観光客で、英語の案内の後に日本語で案内をしていただき、海外のバスツアーに参加した気分も味わえましたよ。

This was a tour that efficiently guided us through the famous sites of Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, Fushimi Inari Taisha, and Arashiyama in Kyoto. I think it would be difficult to visit all these places in one day on your own. It's great that we could be taken to Kyoto without having to go there from Osaka.

What stands out is that we had the best guide. Their attention to detail and overall guidance were exceptional. In Arashiyama, they even called a taxi to run through the bamboo grove for my brother, who couldn't walk. I highly recommend this tour.

Thanks to the tour guide, we were able to enjoy sightseeing without any waste of time. There were a lot of tourists, but it was a fun day. I'm glad we were also shown some great photo spots.

I was waiting for my husband, but I got separated and couldn't make it to the meeting time. By the time I finally got in touch with him, I was told to get off the bus. The bus company's delays due to traffic issues were overlooked. Our special commemorative trip was ruined. I'm glad it wasn't abroad. The first guide was very kind, but I won't be taking any more tours with this company.

Our factories are located in Japan, China, and Vietnam. This time, we were planning a company event inviting participants from China and Vietnam. On the last day, we arranged for sightseeing in Japan. Although it was a rather tight schedule for their stay in Japan, I felt happy when I heard the visitors say, "It was really beautiful. I had fun. I want to come to Japan again," at the end. This was our company's first joint event. Personally, I think it's been over ten years since I last visited Kyoto. Even though there was an interpreter with the visiting members, it was my first time guiding first-time visitors in Japan, so I was filled with anxiety. However, thanks to the guide who looked out for me and offered support, we managed to complete the tour safely. Right now, I feel relieved.

We were able to go during the most beautiful season for autumn leaves, and it was truly stunning. I was moved. Next time, I want to leisurely walk around the streets of Kyoto for the sole purpose of enjoyment, not work. Thank you very much for your support.

弊社の工場は日本と中国とベトナムにあります。今回は、中国とベトナムの方を招いての会社行事を企画しておりました。最後の一日に日本観光を計画しての参加でした。かなり強行な日程での日本滞在でしたが、来日された方から最後に「本当に綺麗だった。楽しかった。また日本に来たい。等々」の言葉が聞こえてきた時は私も嬉しく感じました。会社的にも第一回目の合同行事でした。私自身も京都は十数年ぶりと思います。来日メンバーには通訳さんがいるとはいえ、初めての来日の方々を観光へ案内することは私自身初めてのことでしたので不安でいっぱいでした。しかし、ガイドの方に気にかけていただいて、声をかけていただいて何とか無事に終えることができました。今はとにかくホッとしています。
紅葉が綺麗な一番いい時期に行くことが出来て本当に綺麗でした。感動しました。
今度は、仕事絡みではなく、ただ楽しむことだけを目的にゆっくり京都の街を歩いて観光してみたいと思います。

The new female guide was inadequate. She was just reading from her notes without any emotion, so what she was saying didn't come across. In the end, even the driver started giving advice. Her voice was quiet and lacked clarity. You can tell when someone is trying their best, even if they aren't skilled, but this guide didn't have that. I think she is not suited for being a guide.

新人なのか女性のガイドの方がお粗末だった。
ガイドもノートに書いてるのをただ読んでるだけで感情がこもって無いので言っている事が伝わってこなかった。
しまいにはドライバーさんもがアドバイスする始末。
声は小さいしハキも無いし。
出来無くても出来ないなりに一生懸命やってる人はそれが伝わって来るが今回のガイドさんはそれが無かった。
ガイドには向いてない人だと思った。

I was glad that I could travel by bus for this amount. I was disappointed to hear that if a tour cannot be conducted due to a disaster, there is no cancellation fee, but unlike hotels, if transportation stops and you cannot reach the location while the tour is still conducted, a cancellation fee will apply.

この金額でバスでまわれたのでよかったです。
災害の影響でツアーが遂行されない場合はキャンセル料は発生しないが、ホテルとは違い交通機関がストップして現地に行けずツアーが遂行される場合キャンセル料がかかるとの返答でそこが残念だなと思いました。

I participated alone while on a business trip to Osaka. From what I saw, about 90% of the participants were foreigners (from China, South Korea, India, Australia, etc.). The guide provided information in both Japanese and English (there were comments from others saying that there was little guidance in Japanese, but in the session I attended, the announcements were made in both languages without any issues). The guide was very good at managing time and keeping participants informed, so we departed on time from all the sightseeing spots. When I asked the guide questions, they provided very polite and thorough answers.

In one day, we were able to visit Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama/Sagano, making for a very fulfilling experience. I wouldn't have been able to navigate all of this as efficiently on my own, so participating was definitely the right choice.

大阪出張ついでに一人で参加。見た感じ参加者の9割は外国人だった（中国、韓国、インド、オーストラリアなど）。ガイドさんは日英2ヶ国語で案内（他の方の体験談で、日本語の案内が少ないと言ったコメントがあったが、私の参加した回では、日英全く同じ案内をしていて問題なかった）。ガイドさんの時間管理や参加者への時間周知がしっかりしていたため、全ての観光地において時間通りに出発。ガイドさんに質問するととても丁寧にご案内頂いた。
1日で、伏見稲荷、清水寺、金閣寺、嵐山・嵯峨野全てを回ることができ、とても充実した内容。自分自身ではここまで効率的に回れなかったので、参加して大正解だった。

Recently, I joined this tour during my trip to Kyoto. The itinerary started with gathering at Kyoto Station and taking a train to Fushimi Inari Taisha. From there, we met up with a group from Osaka and explored Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama by bus.

The tour included a Japanese guide who spoke English, but generally, participants had the freedom to explore on their own, with the guide introducing recommended spots. I rated this experience as "good" mainly because the overall time allocation was well-balanced. However, the guide's walking speed was quite fast, making it difficult for participants to keep up. Given that these tourist spots are already crowded, I would have appreciated a bit more consideration for the participants. I felt it might be a bit tough for elderly people, those with disabilities, pregnant women, and families with small children.

Overall, the itinerary allowed for a leisurely exploration of Kyoto's attractions, creating great memories, so I was quite satisfied.

先日、京都旅行で本ツアーに申し込み、参加してきました。
旅程は京都駅に集合し電車で伏見稲荷大社へ移動、伏見稲荷大社からは大阪から参加していたグループと合流し、バスで清水寺、金閣寺、嵐山を散策するものでした。
ツアーには英語ができる日本人ガイドさんが同行しますが、基本的には各人自由行動であり、ガイドさんがお勧めのスポットを紹介してくださる内容となっていました。
今回の評価を「よかった」にしたのは全体的に時間配分が程よく良かったのですが、ガイドさんの歩くスピードが速く参加者が付いて行くのに大変そうだったのでこの評価とさせて頂きました。ただでさえ混雑している観光地なので参加者にもう少し気配りして頂けると嬉しかったです。お年寄りや身体が不自由な方、妊婦さん、小さなお子様連れにはちょっと厳しいかなと感じました。
今回の旅程は京都の観光地をゆっくり散策でき、いい思い出となったので十分満足できました。

I really enjoyed this tour. The walk from ferry to the shrine on Miyojima was totally manageable, even in the extreme heat. The food, snacks and shopping nearby was really great too. After we visited the bomb memorial and museum. This was really interesting and emotional, but I enjoyed learning about it. Again the walking was minimal. Our tour guide was such a sweet-heart too! She was a Hiroshima native, and was born just after the bombing so it effect her loves ones first hand, which resulted in some interesting stories and perspective. I would recommend this tour.

Since I came all the way to Osaka, I wanted to extend my trip a bit further to Kyoto, and I decided to join this tour that seemed efficient for visiting various places. Even though I was exhausted from the summer heat in Kyoto, I was able to enjoy a fulfilling time without the hassle of navigating trains or checking timetables. At Kiyomizu-dera, I ran out of time and could only manage to grab lunch without being able to worship, which I regret a little. I understand there are limits to the time spent on-site, but it seems there was no strict need to adhere to the prior notice stating, "Lunch will be on your own at Kiyomizu-dera." I wish I had eaten my bento during the transfer from Fushimi Inari Taisha, but I’ll take this as a lesson for next time.

せっかく大阪まで来たので、もう少し足を伸ばして京都まで行きたいと考えていて、効率よく色々回れそうなこのツアーへの参加を決めました。真夏の京都の暑さにぐったりしながらも、自分で電車などで移動するわけではないので、地図を見たり時刻表を確認する手間もなく、すごく充実した時間を過ごすことができました。清水寺では時間が足りず、ランチをとるのがやっとで参拝には至らずだったのがちょっと心残り。現地での滞在時間には限界があるのはわかっていますが、事前の案内に『清水寺で個々で昼食です』というお話を忠実に守る必要もなかったようなので、稲荷伏見大社からの移動中にお弁当を食べちゃうみたいなことをすれば良かったなぁと後悔してますが、次回の教訓にします。

I was frustrated because many of the tour participants were foreigners and didn't return by the meeting time. Also, the restrooms at the tourist spots were extremely dirty; there were empty takoyaki boxes in the sanitary bins, toilet paper thrown on the floor, and feces on the toilet seat, making them unusable.

ツアー参加者は外人ばかりで集合時間になっても戻ってこない人が多くてイライラしました。
それと観光地のトイレがサニタリーボックスにたこ焼きの空のゴミ、トイレットペーパーは床に捨ててある、便が便座についている等異常に汚く使うことができませんでした。

Again same experienced like last time in Tokyo, with the professional tour guide, great arrangements, definitely will join next time!

The tour started right on time. The driver was at our doorstep 20 minutes before it started. The driver was very safety conscious - making sure we fastened our seatbelts and drove the vehicle carefully within the speed limit. She was pleasant and accomodating our questions well.
She also managed the time well so that we could finish visiting all the places that were planned.

I stayed in Osaka for three days, and while searching online for a day trip to Kyoto, I found this tour. My mother and I participated in a monitor tour, which offered a free spot for one person if we submitted our experiences. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of the tour, and there were many school trip students, tourists, and foreigners everywhere. The rain made it difficult to move forward as umbrellas kept bumping into each other, and we often had to return early. My mother also had trouble walking, so we bought some souvenirs and returned to the bus early to rest. I was really happy that our tour guide, Haru, was considerate and checked on us frequently. I am very grateful for that. I hope for better weather next time and would like to participate again.

大阪に3日間滞在するので、一日京都へ行ってみようとネットで検索していたら、このツアーを見つけました。母と二人で参加し、モニターツアーで、体験談を投稿すると、１人分が無料になるということに魅力を感じ参加することにしました。当日はあいにくの雨で、どこも修学旅行生や観光客、外国の方で人が多く、雨も降っていたので、傘が当たってなかなか前に進めず途中で帰ってくることが多かったです。母も足が悪く、歩くのが辛そうだったので、お土産を買って早めにバスに帰り休んでいました。そけで、添乗員のハルさんが気をつかってくださり、よく声をかけていただけたことが嬉かったです。すごく感謝してます。次回は天気に恵まれることを祈り、また参加してみたいとおもいました。

The tour had about 80-90% international participants, and the guide provided information about the sightseeing spots in both Japanese and English. (It felt like participating in an overseas tour...) I was prepared, but the schedule was quite tight! At each destination, we were told to return by a specific time, and before you know it, the time is up. However, I recommend it for those who want to see many famous places in Kyoto in one day! There was the unfortunate news that Kiyomizu-dera is undergoing major renovations!!! But overall, I think it was a great value tour that covered a lot of highlights. Thank you!

ツアーは、８・９割が海外の方でガイドさんが日本語と英語で観光地の案内をしてくれました。（海外ツアーに参加している様な気分も味わえたり．．．）
覚悟はしていましたがかなりタイトなスケジュールです！
各目的地に着くと何時何分までに戻って来てくださいと言われ。あっという間に時間が来てしまいますが、１日で京都の名所をたくさん回りたい方にはお勧めです！
楽しみにしていた清水寺が大改修中！！！という悲劇もありましが、トータル的にはいいとこ取りのお得なツアーだったと思います。ありがとうございました！

We had excellent Tour Guides. Food was not very good, would have preferred a simple box lunch.

One of the best tour guides in my entire duration of stay in Japan and taking endless day trips with others companies. Peter was simply amazing with lots of knowledge about the places we visited.

The tour with the tour guide Je○ and the driver Miy○ was packed with activities alongside people from various countries. I was disappointed that I couldn't communicate well due to my lack of confidence in my English skills. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, which made it feel like we were just going through the motions, and the hassle of carrying an umbrella and needing rubber boots diminished the enjoyment. However, the tour guide provided historical explanations to help make up for it. We visited four major tourist spots, each taking about an hour. It was hard work, but I think it's great to be able to see major attractions. However, I believe many people might prefer a plan that allows for more in-depth sightseeing (just a personal wish). Also, I would like to see courses that include places like Byodoin and Amanohashidate in the Kyoto sightseeing plan. This was my first time using the monitor, and I would like to do it again. I enjoyed the experience aside from the weather. Thank you for your assistance.

添乗員のJe○さんと運転手の宮○さん、各国の外国の方々と盛り沢山のツアーでした。英語力に自信が無いのでコミニュケーション出来ないのが残念でした。只、生憎の大雨の日で予定をこなす感が強く、傘を持つ煩わしさと長靴が必要な天候で楽しみ半減。ですが、それをフォローするように添乗員さんが歴史の説明をして下さった。観光地四カ所は、それぞれが一時間前後。ハードでしたがメジャーな観光地を回れるのは良いと思います。が、じっくり観光するプランを求めている方も多いかと思いました（個人的希望ですが）。あと、京都観光プランに平等院や天橋立などのコースも検討して頂きたいです。初めてモニターを利用させて頂きましたが、また、モニターしたいです。天気以外は楽しみました。お世話様です。

The tour route is perfect with excellent service guide

On the morning of the tour, when I arrived at the designated location, I found myself surrounded by foreigners, and a person in charge was explaining things in English. While I secretly hoped this might not be the tour I was looking for, I was suddenly called by name. A bit confused, I boarded the bus, but that day turned out to be very enjoyable. The guide was simply the best. She skillfully switched between Japanese and English, providing explanations with plenty of humor and kindness. Jewel (Yoshikawa) took on the role of explaining in two languages consecutively, but she handled everything with care until the end. Having Jewel around gave me an indescribable sense of reassurance, which must be due to her personality. Through the repeated explanations in English and Japanese, I ended up understanding a little bit of English, which was an unexpected gain. Thank you so much, Jewel, for being energetic, cheerful, and kind.

当日の朝、指定の場所に行くと、周りは外国の方ばかりで、担当らしい方が英語で説明されていました。『このツアーではないかも…』と密かな期待を抱きつつ待っていると、いきなり名前を呼ばれてしまいました。少し戸惑いながらもバスに乗り込みましたが、その一日はとても楽しいものになりました。何と言ってもガイドさんが最高でした。日本語と英語を自在に操り、ユーモアたっぷりに、そして親切丁寧に説明してくれました。ジュエルさん(吉川さん)は二か国語で立て続けに説明するので二人分の役割を果たすことになりますが、最後まで丁寧に対応してくれました。ジュエルさんがいると、何とも言えない安心感があり、それは彼女の人柄によるものでしょう。英語と日本語で繰り返される説明で、終いにはほんの少しですが英語も理解できるようになり、思わぬ収穫となりました。元気で明るく、親切なジュエルさん、本当にありがとうございました。
