The weather was wonderful, and my friends who I invited were very impressed. This was my third time participating, but after a six-year gap, the town had changed quite a bit, and my memories were a bit hazy, so it took me some time to find the bus stop that I thought I would easily locate. I also visited the nearby Umeda Sky Building's floating garden and the Christmas market, so I was happy to fully enjoy the Christmas season.

I'm from Osaka, and I made a reservation because I wanted to experience this. Usually, I enjoy the illuminations while walking along Midosuji, but it was refreshing to see it from a different height this time. The guide's explanations were also great.
What surprised me was the fact that we were driving on the highway in that condition. The ladies were squealing with excitement (laughs). It felt a bit like a small attraction too.

As a person from Osaka, I enjoyed the view of Midosuji from the top of the double-decker bus, which was different from the usual scenery. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and it was a great opportunity to learn things I didn't know before. It was rush hour, so it took longer than planned, but thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the view from the window at a leisurely pace. The window frame made it surprisingly difficult to take photos.
I think if I had been in the front row, I could have enjoyed the view more directly, but if you're participating alone, you might end up in the back row. Since I was in the back, the view in front was hard to see, but the advantage was that the guide spoke from the back, making it easy to hear the explanations.
There are blankets available for rent, and since we weren't moving fast due to the traffic, it wasn't too cold. There is a map for the meeting place, but it's quite confusing. It was at number 7 of the JR Highway Bus Terminal, but there was no indication of which number it was, so it seemed like many other participants were also confused.
I think it would be helpful if the map clearly indicated that it is bus stop number 7, so future participants won't get lost.

ブランケットは貸出しがありますし、渋滞でスピードが出ていないので、そんなに寒くはなかったです。
集合場所の地図がありますが、かなりわかりにくいです。
JR高速バスターミナルの７番でしたが、何番との記載がないので他の参加者の方も迷われた方が多かったように見受けられました。
集合場所の地図には是非７番乗り場と記載して頂けるとこれから参加される方は迷わないと思います。

Since it's an open double-decker bus, you can enjoy the illuminations from a panoramic and unique angle that you absolutely can't see from the ground or a regular car. Even though it was November, it was warm, so I didn't need much in terms of cold weather gear. The view from the double-decker bus was enjoyable, as I could see things I don't usually see and the perspective was different. I also learned for the first time that the colors of the illuminations on Midosuji are different. It was wonderful to see the view from a high position and to observe the changes in color. It might not be suitable for those who want to take their time taking photos since there are no stops, but experiencing the scenery and announcements on the way to Namba, as well as riding on the highway in an open bus, was quite a unique experience. Haha! I also appreciated the provision of blankets and hand warmers!

I participated alone. I was worried about the cold, but I didn't feel much wind by the window... however, complete cold protection is essential. Wearing the hood of my coat kept me warm and my hair in place. There were blankets and hand warmers available for loan. There wasn't much space between the seats in front, behind, and to the sides, and we were instructed to sit closely together in the front. Since I was alone, I thought about moving to the empty seat in the back. It was a great memory to see the beautiful illuminations while the guide was talking! The cold was manageable, and the timing was just right.
