  • 8:30~10:00 Depart from Tokyo Station
    Ride the high speed Shinkansen bullet train as you begin your journey to the highlights of the Tohoku region.

    You will be informed of the exact meeting and departure time one week before the tour.
  • Kitakami Tenshochi Park (60 minutes)
    Japan Sakura Cherry Blossoms Kitakami Tenshochi Stroll around the park where sakura and carp streamers strung across the river compete to draw the eye with vibrant colors.
  • Morioka Ishiwari Sakura (15 minutes)
    See the sakura tree that, according to legend, grew out of a massive stone that was cracked open by lightning, proving that even small things can make a big change.
  • Koiwai Farm (15 minutes)
    Visit a picturesque farm where a solitary sakura, planted to give the animals shade, now grows directly in line with Mt. Iwate, making a postcard perfect background.
  • Shizukuishi Takakura Onsen
    Check into the Shizukuishi Prince Hotel, enjoy a hearty dinner and soak in the onsen (hot springs).
  • DAY2  
  • Depart from the Shizukuishi Prince Hotel
    Check out and depart from the hotel after breakfast.
  • Kakunodate (90 minutes)
    Japan Shidare Weeping Sakura Kakunodate Visit historical Kakunodate, where samurai houses stand in splendor and weeping cherry blossoms grow through the town.
  • Lake Tazawa (20 minutes)
    Stop by the deepest lake in Japan and enjoy lunch.
  • Ashino Park (30 minutes)
    Stroll the park which is home to more than 2,200 sakura trees lining the grounds, as well as the old Tsugaru Railway where you can view the ephemerally beautiful blossoms from on board a train.
  • Ajigasawakogen Onsen
    Check in to the Rockwood Hotel & Spa and enjoy dinner and a leisurely soak in the onsen (hot springs).
  • DAY3  
  • Depart from the Rockwood Hotel & Spa
    Check out and depart from the hotel after breakfast.
  • Hirosaki Park (120 minutes)
    Japan Hirosaki Castle Sakura Cherry Blossoms Take in the park awash in color and blossoms from its 2,500 sakura trees of different varieties. See the dreamy blossoms carried by the wind into the castle moat, filling it with petals and turning it into a pink river.
  • Return to Tokyo
    Ride the Shinkansen bullet train for a speedy and smooth journey back to Tokyo.
  • 19:30-22:04 Check-out at Tokyo Station

    • Please note that the tour is for Japanese citizens and basically operated in Japanese. The staff will provide basic information (such as meeting places and times at each stop) in English or Chinese, however, she/he will not be able to provide detailed information about the sights.
    • The tour operator will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to traffic, weather or other circumstances that are beyond human control.
    • In the event the tour is cancelled due to typhoon, heavy snow or other circumstances beyond control, you will be informed via e-mail by 15:00 Japan Standard Time one day before departure.
    • The check-out point may differ from the check-in point. For the actual place, please ask the tour conductor.
    • Participants under 15 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. In the event that the participant is between the ages of 15 and 20, he/she needs to submit a written consent form from his/her guardian.
    • This course is planned based on the past dates of cherry blossom openings. However, flowers may bloom earlier or later depending on the weather of the year. According to the condition of the blossoms, the itinerary may be altered slightly.
    • When this tour has 25 participants or more, it will depart as planned regardless of the condition of cherry blossoms.
    • Accommodations are for 2~3 individuals per room. Please note if you reserve a room for 3 guests, a twin room with an extra bed will be provided for both nights.
    • The infant price includes a coach seat only.
    • Gono Line and Tsugaru Railway have non-reserved seats only. When congested, seats may not be available or travel section may need to be changed.
    • Seats for your group members may be separated.
