      An individual seat will not be provided. Please have them sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. If there are seats available, they are welcome to use it, however they will not be getting a priority in seating.
      An individual meal or snack will not be provided as well.
    • Accommodations:
      An extra bed or futon mat will not be provided.
      In the case meals are included in the accommodation, a separate meal will not be prepared.

      If you would like any of the above for children (ages 0-5 years), please book them as a child.

    • Mt. Fuji's 5th station is typically 10 to 15 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. On tours from autumn to spring, please bring a coat and other warm clothing.

    • The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
    • This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour.
    • If you would like a vegetarian menu, please inform us at the time of reservation.
    • You must carry your own luggage. Please note that space is limited on the bullet train or bus. We advise leaving large items such as suitcases at your hotel in Tokyo.
    • The trip from Odawara to Kyoto on Day 1 may require a train transfer midway at Shizuoka or Nagoya station. If so, a staff member will assist participants in transferring.
    • The tour will not be cancelled or refunded even if Mt. Fuji is not fully visible due to weather conditions.
    • The arrival time to Kyoto after the tour on Day 1 may be between 22:00 and 23:00 or later depending on traffic conditions.
    • The tour will not be cancelled or refunded for such itinerary alteration. The English interpreter guide will make decisions regarding itinerary alterations.
    • If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible.
      No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station.
      When the tour has to turn back at the 1st station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
    • If the Lake Ashi Cruise or Komagatake Ropeway are not running, they may be omitted and replaced with one or more of the following. This will not be used as a reason to cancel the tour, and refunds will not be given for this reason.
      Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani Valley, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Mt. Kachi Kachi Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, etc.
    • The annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb will be held on a weekend in June. Please be aware that the itinerary order and destinations to be visited are subject to change. Furthermore, please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined.
    • The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead.
      (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).
    • The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on February 25, March 25 and November 25.
    • Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, or if the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
    • During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, July 15 - 16), drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto will be unavailable due to traffic restrictions.
    • During the Jidai Festival on October 22, the Heian Jingu Shrine is closed to the public and will be replaced in the itinerary by Chishaku-in Temple. If the Jidai Festival is postponed, the itinerary change will also be postponed.
    • Please note that due to repair and restoration work, part or all of the Kiyomizu-dera Temple Main Hall will not be visible.
