Reviewed by: Koonz, 2019/11/30We took 3hrs to reach 5th station and was given 45 minutes before departure. During the 45min, we were only able go to restroom as the restroom were so crowded, and took a few pictures around the shops..no time to walk around the fifth station at all..after that we head for lunch. The ambience of the restaurant was nice but we were only given 45min to finish our lunch..Lastly we went to cruise and ropeway before we headed back to shinjuku at 5pm. The overall experience was not very good as we spent most of the time traveling and limited time at the spot, the lady guide was not very friendly and instruction given was not clear.

My mt mufi experience

Overall experience was great, we took a lot of pictures and mt fuji was so beautiful. In Lake kawaguchi we were amazed by the colorful leaves and beautiful scenery.

The only thing which was upsetting was that some of the visitors from other tour groups who joined in the Lake Kawaguchi Cruise threw their plastic wrappers into the lake for convenience :(
I hope there are stronger measures to stop this littering to help preserve the beautiful lake.

Perfect Trip

The activities are given enough time to enjoy and appreciate Mt Fuji from the 5th Station to the Ropeway and the Cruise. Lunch buffet was at a hotel near Fuji Q with a wide variety of food.
I read a lot of reviews complaining about not seeing Mt Fuji - it’s not the tour agency’s fault. Luckily it was very sunny and we saw Mt Fuji in all its glory.

Tour guide was great!

Restaurant food was really good, again we wished we had about 15 minutes longer to enjoy our meal and view. If the bus left an hour or two earlier from the starting point we would have had more time to enjoy the sites and not be so rushed.

Need improvement

Dont take the rope tour we were just chucked in the cart like a sardine and were not able to see anything on the way up and down.
The tour guide were not friendly.
It was a rush at every stop.
The bus journey and bus driver was good.
With all said it was a worth it journey because Mount Fuji is just too beautiful to be missed.

Amazing day trip!

First off the bus that is provided is very comfortable. It is very clean and a smooth ride.
Our guide, Yusuke, was very kind and informative. Constantly pointing out landmarks and giving tidbits as we were riding towards Mount Fuji. His English is good, so feel free to ask questions!
The first part of the trip, they took us very close to the summit of the mountain. It was an amazing view. The day we went, it was very clear to see Fuji. Gorgeous!
Afterwards we were brought to a French restaurant. The food was good. I'm personally not big on French cuisine, but both of us enjoyed it.
The ropeway is probably my favorite part of the trip. The view that it brings you was absolutely mind blowing. The mountain was full view along with the city.
The cruise was fun. We timed the cruise to coincide with the sunset. The sunset along with a clear view of the mountain is fantastic. It was about a 15 minute ride so theres plenty of opportunities to get some good pictures.
Finally, you are given a voucher for some soft serve ice cream. We both chose the lavender flavour, surprisingly delicious :)
We highly recommend this day trip, especially if you just want to see the mountain and don't plan on staying in the area longer than a day.

well organised tour

Staff Akito was friendly, though her English was not easy to understand but she was helpful. We had a short toilet break halfway. Weather was great that day, we got lucky. Stopped at the 5th Station for around 40 mins. Very cold, beware. 3 course lunch was nice. Cruise was short but nice. Same area was the ropeway ride which we spent an hour at the top waiting for the foggy weather to clear but it didn't. We got the ¥300 worth voucher, u can redeem either an ice cream or a souvenir. Left at 4.30pm and got to Shinjuku around 6.15pm.

Refreshing Trip

The sky was abit foggy but it cleared up near afternoon. The ropeway is very crowded, didnt get a good view but Kawaguchi lake cruise was relaxing and fun. Would love to go on more of these.

Great tour with friendly guides
Reviewed by: Selena, 2019/10/24I went on the tour with my sister two days after the October typhoon. Due to a landslide caused by the typhoon, we had to take a detour, which resulted in additional travel time. Unfortunately, we were not able to travel up to the 5th station due to the change in schedule/timing. We were also not able to see Fuji-san due to the cloudy weather. But we understand that this is beyond the tour company's control. On the flip side, the tour guides were extremely friendly and tried to make up for cancelling the 5th station trip by providing some snacks, which were quite thoughtful. Overall, I like how the tour guides were organized and upfront about the change in schedule. They also incorporated some humour when interacting with us, which made us feel welcomed. The ice cream at the end of the tour was a nice touch to complete the experience (we recommend having the peach flavour!). I can imagine that the itinerary would be perfect if the weather was accommodating. We will definitely come back again, perhaps during spring time when Mt. Fuji is more visible.

Mount Fuji day trip

Fantastic experience, although we only had a brief view of Fuji San (you can't control the weather!!).
Lovely light lunch at a "French Themed" restaurant in the theme park at the base of Fuji.
20 minute lake cruise and a cable car ride, with cracking views of Mount Fuji (if weather plays ball!!), expertly guided by Hiro!!
Thoroughly recommend this trip.

Well organised day trip to Mt.Fuji

We're a couple and liked the most about the mountain and scenery nearby. However, it depends on the weather as well. We're a bit unfortunate because we could not see the top of the mountain as it was cloudy (indeed, we could not predict the weather accurately, because we booked earlier based on forecast and it supposed to be sunny). But, we had enough time to walk and explore at the 5th station. The staffs were all great and friendly: from the lady who welcomed us, the guide who speaks both japanese and english, and of course the driver. We expected to have a light lunch provided, but the trip included a proper course lunch which was great and delicious. Also, they have options for special dietry and you must make sure to let them know. We can advice future participants to book in advanced as the tour can easily get fully book, please state clearly if you have any special dietry for lunch, and enjoy your trips! Overall, it's highly recommended especially for those travelling with kids, couple, and old people. All the seighseeing, lunch, cruise, cable car, and return transport are included.

Good trip to Mt Fuji with all the things you want to see

It was easy to find the meeting spot and the person who was standing there waiting was very helpful and made sure that everyone got on the bus etc. The bus was very comfortable and when arriving at the fifth plateau it was unfortunately cloudy. However the bus driver stopped at a second stop that was not in the plan and there we were able to see the top. Very appreciated! The lake cruise and the ropeway ride was okay, would probably be more fun if it was sunny. The time at this stop was too long as well. In the end, everyone was standing around and waiting for the bus to go back to Tokyo so maybe reduce the time there during the off season. But in general, a very good 1-day trip that I would recommend.

Experience Mount Fuji from different points of views!

It's 100% recommended to do this tour if you want to experience Mount Fuji from different points of views. It might get cold out there, so we recommend you bring a sweater. Outstanding 1-day Mt. Fuji trip for foreigners

At every stop the tour leader explained very carefully what to do and when we need to get back to the bus. The 5th Station was cloudy and we did not get the chance to see Mt. Fuji. Same for Lake Kawaguchi. However after riding the ropeway to the top of the mountain and wait for a while, we could finally see the peak of Mt. Fuji. Such an amazing experience. The best part of the tour is the western-style lunch at a very cozy restaurant, and the $3 coupon. We did not use the coupon to buy ice cream but to buy souvenir because there are many selections.

Great time

She was very informative about the various attractions on the way as well as the planned spots. Our first destination was fifth station of Mt. Fuji. Even though clouds covered Mt. Fuji most of the time, we were able to have a pretty good look at the highest peak of Japan, thanks to our generous driver who stopped at a point( when the clouds moved away for a few moments) just below the fifth station on our way back. The next destination was lake kawaguchi where we experienced lake cruise and rope way ride. The lake is surrounded by green landscape. This will be a perfect option for any group like family, friends, couples etc.

Incredible day exploring Mount Fuji and lake kawaguchi!

Our tour leader was extremely informative, happy and spoke great English. The 5th station was cloudy but it was a lovely area to walk around and the views were still incredible. The boat journey on Lake kawaguchi was stunning and peaceful. What made the whole trip was when we went up the ropeway the cloudy had moved and we could see Mount Fuji clearly. A lovely touch at the end was a voucher for ice cream. I would recommend this trip to everyone who want to see Mount Fuji or just wants a trip outside busy Tokyo.

The highlight of our trip!

It wasn't full for the day we chose because it was an overcast day. Mount Fuji peeked out of the clouds for just a moment while we were at the top so we got to see it!! It was awesome!! The tour hits up the Mt Fuji 5th station shop, includes a lunch at a French restaurant (with special accomodations for the vegetarian in our group). You get a $3 souvenir or ice cream voucher too. The cruise on the lake was the best part! If I was making a suggestion, the top of Mt Fuji and the amusement park could be 15 minutes longer and the lake area could be 30 minutes less in exchange. Other than that it was the absolute best and I would recommend to anyone!
