Not worth the money.

The entire tour was rushed not sure why as we couldn't do the ropeway, so you would think we would have had extra time. They added a box to the website showing that it was closed after my group had already booked the tour. We took a cruise through the fog, and it was not on the cool pirate boat described and pictured. The cruise was a waste as well because you couldn't see anything. We also went to the museum which is supposed to provide a great view of Fuji but again we couldn't see anything.

Both Nikko and Lake Chuzenji were quite stunning! Unfortunately, Kegon Falls was not visible due to the mist that day. Good food and a well informed guide made the total experience very worth it.

We knew that it was a bus tour, but it was a little cramped compared to other bus tours that we have been part of in Sapporo. I think that is due to that this tour is in Tokyo so more people were on the bus. The tour guide, Irene was very nice and accommodating, despite some rude tour people on the tour bus. As a bit of advice, when you are given a time frame in Japan, you better be punctual or you will be left behind! As we were going to various places, we were on a challenging schedule, so the tour guide let everyone know this at the beginning of the tour, and everyone needs to be respectful of each other's time. Two people did not respect this rule and ended up being left behind at one stop, but made it back to the bus at the next stop, fortunately for them the distance was reachable, but I'm sure had a bit of a walk to catch up. The weather that day did not allow for us to see Mt. Fuji, which was a bummer, but not the fault of the tour guide or the tour experience.

The tour guide is great unfortunately, the tour itself is not exactly how it disclosed. The bus stop for 5 minutes for one spot to view Mt. Fuji but not the best view at all. As we drove by we saw there are few spots that we can see the Mt. Fuji very clear but the bus just driving by very fast. The ropeway was under construction so they skip that part. This tour claims that we’re supposed to go on a pirate ship to tour Ashi Lake instead we just went on a ferry. We were a little disappointed cause it was not how it disclosed.

This tour stops at all the right places and each stay isn’t too short or too long. Our tour guide Amy was brilliant, even offering to take pictures for us solo travellers and she made us all Origami birds on the bus ride home. Engaging and very informative.

We only had one full day in Japan on our way home to Australia so we decided to take a tour out to the iconic Mt Fuji. We were picked up right on schedule from our hotel and spent about half an hour collecting other people from various locations before heading out to Mt Fuji. Our guide entertained us along the way with some history and personal anecdotes and even a little sing-along in Japanese. The weather favoured us too, the day being clear and sunny, so we were able to see the peak. The only downside was the cold wind. I was wishing for earmuffs! The cable car ride was cancelled due to the wind but we were able to see a lovely peace park instead. We could have returned to Tokyo on the bus, but we opted for the Bullet train instead. Our guide made all that easy. The experience of seeing those fantastic trains whooshing through the station while we waited for ours was amazing in itself. I'd definitely recommend this tour.

Almost everything about this trip was perfect, from the travel guide, to the atmospheric views. The only major con I have is the ropeway ride. They stuff as many people as possible onto oa singular cart so that you can't move or take photos of the views through people's heads. Not a dealbreaker, but it's the reason I wouldn't give this trip a perfect score. 4/5.

The highlight of our trip!

The guided tour picks up at Ikebukuro or Shinjuku station. Our tour guide was Nobu and he was quite wonderful! The bus ran right on time. It wasn't full for the day we chose because it was an overcast day. Mount Fuji peeked out of the clouds for just a moment while we were at the top so we got to see it!! It was awesome!! The tour hits up the Mt Fuji 5th station shop, includes a lunch at a French restaurant (with special accomodations for the vegetarian in our group). You get a $3 souvenir or ice cream voucher too. The cruise on the lake was the best part! If I was making a suggestion, the top of Mt Fuji and the amusement park could be 15 minutes longer and the lake area could be 30 minutes less in exchange. Other than that it was the absolute best and I would recommend to anyone!

OK tour

The tour was ok. It was good to have a tour guide to help explain things. We were only on the mountain for 30 minutes which was no where near enough time. We needed at least an hour. The boat ride was nice too. The ropeway was closed due to wind so they took us to an aquarium close to the mountain. The aquarium was absolutely awful. There were dead turtles in a few of the tanks. I would have preferred to have headed back to Tokyo a little earlier and skip the aquarium. Most of the folks on our tour complained about the aquarium. Not having a reserved seat on the bullet train was also a disappointment. I would recommend a reserved seat on the bullet train to and from the mountain if you can do it.

The tour was good. I enjoyed.
I like that during the bus the guide was talking about some interesting things about Japan.
During the Cruise in Lake Ashi, you only can see Mt. Fuji almost when you have to leave de ship. I think this is not a good lake, a better one its the lake next to the Ashi Lake.
The lunch was very tasty but too small. I could eat more.
They have no pick up and drop off service from Asakusa area.
The tour was OK.

The whole day was great and well organised, all the guides were very helpful and informative.
The forest walk and cave was the highlight of the day. The cave was suprisingly a lot harder than I expected, but still very fun even if it was slippery. Was very thankful they provided the jumpsuits and helmet as I would have got very dirty /wet otherwise.

It is highly recommended this tour of Fuji.
Mt. Fuji Fifth Station – It was cold with heavy rain in the trip to Mount Fuji. The tour guide was nice and caring. She was a Japanese with good spoken in English.
Lunch at Fuji-Q Highland was very great and the food was delicious. The environment in the restaurant in Fuji-Q Highland was nice and grand.
Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi & Fuji Panoramic Ropeway
- We spent enough time in a boat at Lake Kawaguchi and Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. I enjoyed the trip and eating delicious soft serve ice cream.
Again, it was a Great tour! it was very convenient.

A really enjoyable day

Our guide was excellent; knowledgable, interesting and funny. We really liked him. The trip itself was really enjoyable. We weren't lucky with the clouds and couldn't see Fujisan for most of the day, but were lucky enough to catch a glimpse in the afternoon while enjoying delicious ice cream. Driving past the suburbs of Tokyo and out in to the countryside and different towns was really interesting. A great way to see outside of Tokyo even though Fuji was elusive. The view of Fuji when it did come, was stunning.

I highly recommended this tour if you want to go to Mount Fuji. The bus was cleaned and the tour guide gave tour description for every accurately. Lunch at Fuji Q highland park was delicious and served very well. Although it was raining all day during the trip but we can enjoy it. We have enough time for cursing at Kawaguchiko lake and enjoy fantastic view during the ropeways. My children loves the free ice cream voucher.
I gave 5 stars for veltra and thank you for given us a memorable and wonderful journey in Mount Fuji.

An amazing full day trip for the family!

Even though it was hard to find the meeting place since it was underground, we were pleased to know that the rest of the group were only boarding the bus. We were lucky that we were able to see the mountain since we were told that it was raining up until the day before our tour. The lunch was good and substantial, and kind of fancy because of the ambiance. The cruise was incredible since we got to see the entire mountain from the lake as well as the view from the top of the cable car ride. This was such a great experience even our parents were impressed! I definitely recommend this tour!

Great deal for a great full day tour!

At first, we were hesitant to book this tour because the price was too good to be true, but we took a chance and wanted to experience it ourselves. We had a difficult time finding the meeting place and was late for a couple of minutes, but Ms. Terry, our guide, waited for us. The bus ride took 2 hours from Shinjuku to the Mt. Fuji 5th station. We were greeted with a picturesque view of the mountain as well as a lovely 40 minute tour with a pleasantly cold weather. Don't forget to try the mountain-shaped melon bread there! We had a good three course lunch at the Fuji Q Highland restaurant. It's also a great photo spot where you could see more of the mountain. We then headed to the Lake Kawaguchi boat cruise where you could have a closer look at the mountain as well as a cable car ride at Hakone rope way. As you exchange the ticket for the cable car, you also get a free pen as a souvenir. The tanuki dango with soy and matcha drink there is really good. There was also a good ice cream shop where you could choose from four flavors; peach, vanilla, lavender and grape. All in all, with the tour, food and the bus ride going back to the meeting point, the price for this full day tour is such a steal. I highly recommend this tour for those of you who want to maximize their budget. The guide was really good at explaining and was very accomodating!

Tour description is very accurate, every activity was completed in time. Tour started at 5th station, ok time was allowed there. Then lunch was in Fiji-Q park, lunch place was surprisingly nice, French restaurant with full course menu. Then plenty of time was given for the scenic rope-way with best views of Fuji and a boat at Kawaguchiko lake. Overall, Caca did a good job. Her English was understandable. I am glad I took the trip as I would not have seen these sites otherwise. Now, negatives were the really impolite guests- obviously not the fault of the company. We waited on the bus at our first stop for 45 minutes, Caca looking for them, and we thankfully just left. The next stop we waited an additional 15 minutes for 2 more guests. The departure times were very clearly stated. There were 2 other guests continually having a loud conversation while Caca was talking-making it difficult to hear. I wish someone would have said something because they were obviously oblivious- but I guess I also could have stepped up. The only other thing was I felt we spent way too much time on the bus. I totally understand these tours need to cater to all, but I definitely like to be more active. Something to think about for an active traveler. The lunch was surprisingly very good and filling. I took the bullet train back and Caca was great about making sure we knew exactly what we needed to do.

Mt. Fuji and Aokigahara Adventure Tour from Tokyo

Overall, it was wonderful. The guides spoke great English and were kind, informative, and helpful. Fuji is amazing and the Forest was incredible too. For the caves...the description could have been much better. I did not realize it would involve significant climbing and dangerous conditions. The description simply said weird comfortable shoes and clothes that can get dirty. There are deep caverns, small ladders, and dangerous icy terrain. I actually stopped early into it because I was concerned. Everyone else went and loved it, but I stayed back of my own volition.

Mt Fuji Tour from Tokyo with Lake Kawaguchi Cruise and Ropeway Ride
Very good tour

We loved the trip to Mount Fuji, it was very cold and rainy. We only had about 30 min to look around, would have loved more time! The included lunch was excellent! The boat ride was nice with great views. We didn't get to do the ropeway due to wind but was refunded the cost which was great customer service. The free ice cream was a bonus that I forgot about! Overall I would take the trip again if I ever make it back to Tokyo!
