Nagashibina no Yakata is a rare large wooden building in modern Japan. Made with 15 logs of 50-60cm in diameter, the exhibition room features more than 800 dolls dating from the Edo era.
Itaibara Shuraku features Sakaibara, said to be the original scenery of the mountain village of Japan. Step into a quiet tea shop Nodokou, built in a restored private house. In the space where time seems to stop, relax and breathe the mountain air as stress melts away.
The Ishitani Residence is a large-scale modern Japanese-style building in Chizushuku, and was once the residence of a family that became the head of the village.
