Important activity information

• Guests must be below 220 lbs (100 kg) to participate in this activity.
• This tour is open to healthy participants aged 6 to 60.
• On the day of the tour, we will check your medical history and physical condition using a health questionnaire.
  You may not be allowed to participate if any of the following apply:
  
  1.You have a history of respiratory, circulatory, or ENT (ear, nose, throat) conditions, or epilepsy.
  2.You are under the influence of medication, drugs, or alcohol.
  3.You are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.

• Participants under 17 years old may not join the tour without a parent or guardian.
• ■Insurance Requirement and Submission Deadline
  ・Please make sure to purchase your own travel insurance that fully covers the activities included in this tour.
  ・A copy of your insurance policy must be submitted to the tour operator by 5:00 PM Japan time on the day before the tour.
  If you fail to submit the required documentation or your insurance does not adequately cover the tour activities, you will not be allowed to participate.
  In such cases, the standard cancellation fee will apply.
• The insurance provided by the tour operator is only applicable to those who have a certificate of residence in Japan.

  You can choose to meet at either a designated location in the Miyanoura area or at the Issou Beach parking lot. Please let us know your preferred meeting location at the time of booking.
  In the Miyanoura area, the designated meeting location is often Yakushima Tourist Center, but the exact meeting point will be provided in a confirmation email sent the day before the tour.
• An email will be sent the day before the tour with details of the exact meeting location and time. Please be sure to check it.
  If you have any inquiries, please contact us via email.
• If you require vision correction, we recommend wearing disposable contact lenses.
  If you would like to rent a prescription mask, please let us know your uncorrected vision (without glasses or contacts) when making your reservation.
• The tour will not be canceled due to rain alone. Please be sure to check the latest local information in the email we send you.
• Our business hours are from 08:00 to 20:00. Please note that we may not be able to respond to messages sent outside of these hours.

• No cancellation fee will be charged in the following cases:
  ・The tour is canceled by the staff due to natural conditions or other safety concerns.
  ・You are unable to reach Yakushima or arrive on time due to weather conditions or transportation issues.
• The listed schedule is based on estimated times for the Miyanoura area.
• Actual conditions may vary significantly depending on the weather and traffic on the day of the tour.
• If you are more than 10 minutes late for the meeting time, it will be considered a cancellation for personal reasons.
  Same-day cancellations will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• Videos recorded with a GoPro will be shared via a file compression site link, and guests will be asked to download the data themselves.
  If the GoPro is not functioning properly, footage will be taken using a compact digital camera (Olympus TG-4).
  *The tour video will be edited to a length of approximately 2 minutes.
• For safety reasons, participants usually wear wetsuits during the tour.
  Wetsuit will help keep you warm and protection from cuts, scrapes, sunburns, and stings by sea cretures.
