Marked by a striking white structure with a blue octagonal roof, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is one of Taipei's most iconic landmarks built in tribute to the former leader of the Republic of China. The complex contains a library and museum where visitors can learn about the life of the former Premier as well as the history of Taiwan. The main hall also contains a bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek.
