You can experience Potsdam for a very reasonable price.
We used a bus when we arrived there. We visited Sanssouci Palace and Cecilienhof Palace.
Because of time limitation, we didn't enter Sanssouci Palace, but instead we went to the smaller villa. There was a lot of paintings.
At the Cecilienhof, we also didn't get in, but we saw the room where the Potsdam Conference was held from the outside.
I guess it would be better if we were able to go inside.
There is a lot of walking, so better wear comfortable shoes.
The guide was very good and explained everything enthusiastically. He explained us how to get back to Berlin as well.
